Abstract

In this modern era, it is a challenge for someone to give infaq to orphans properly and correctly. The impact of rapid changes in information technology, the proper use of social media is expected to be a means of goodness. Therefore, the use of the right concept is needed to overcome this. This research is library research and uses a descriptive-analysis method in processing the data. The results of this study, namely the concept of giving infaq al-Qur'an perspective that is offered in Surat al-Baqarah verse 215 has 3 important components, namely: giving must use good assets, must use good methods and also good goals. In addition, giving infaq to orphans should be given according to the situation and conditions, so as not to hurt their feelings. It would be nice if they were given by not publishing them on social media to minimize the negative effects of carrying out these compensation activities.

Abstract

Philosophy of Moral Values in Islamic View. Moral values are important in the formation of the younger generation, both for the community. Currently, the moral damage of a child is influenced by family factors and the sosial environment. Moral education in the view of Islam is a science that teaches how to behave towards God's creatures, both dead and living. Morality is related to human behavior or actions as God's creatures. The Literature Review method or literature review with content analysis was chosen in the preparation of this research, sourced from journal articles, internet articles, books, and other related articles. The results of the study explain that the value of morality is something that can show a person regarding the right and wrong of an act he has done by humans, this has been explained in the Qur'an in Surah Al-Baqarah fathers 33 and 34, the principle of Sheikh Yusuf Al-Makassari namely "al-takhalluq bi akhlaq Allah" or having character with Allah's character which emphasizes ethics or morals is very important for a person's personality, as well as the thoughts of philosophers, namely Ibn Miskawaih, al-Farabi and al-Ghazali who explain morals based on religion will give happiness and individual safety in this world and the hereafter.

Abstract

The research related to the story of Dzu al-Qarnain in the Koran, still focus on who the “figure” Dzu al-Qarnain is, not to reveal the “urgency” that lies behind the text. In fact, the value of that story that should be revealed to be used in religious practice. The structure of Dzu al-Qarnain’s story which begins with a question also indicates that there is a patte’n of direct Qur'ani da’wah between God, Muhammad, and Arab society. Therefore, the study of the purpose of the of Dzu al-Qarnain’s story in the Qur’an for Muhammad’s da’wah is important. This research is a type of qualitative research that is a library research. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytic. The data about the story of Dzu al-Qarnain will be presented, and than will be analized with a historical approach to find the purpose or urgency of this story for Muhammad’s da’wah. The results of the study show that the urgency of mentioning the story of Dzu al-Qarnain in Muhammad’s era includes two aspects, that general aspect and special aspect. In general, the aim was to provide a “real example” to the Meccan society at that time, which tended to be materialistic. As for specifically aiming to prove Muhammad’s competence that he is truly the messenger of Allah who had the comprehensive knowledge. Thus, it can be stated that the story of Dzu al-Qarnain contains missionary messages that were important for Muhammad as the main figure of da’wah at that time.

Abstract

Beauty privilege gave birth to the expression "that which is beautiful and has an attractive appearance is what is appreciated". Those who have white skin, are tall, have shiny hair, are slim, wear make-up and wear modern clothing styles, always get more respect than women who don't have these criteria. This phenomenon is caused by two factors, internal factors, namely feeling insecure when seeing other women more attractive and external factors, namely job vacancies being sought are those who have an attractive appearance. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of true beauty and appearance according to the view of the Qur'an. In answering the problem using the approach of the verses of the Qur'an, this type of research is library research, the analysis method uses Maudhu '. The result of the research shows that there are two categories of verses that discuss Beauty privilege. First, Beauty : ar-Rūm [30]: 21, ash- Sḥaaffaat [37]: 48-49, ar-Rahmān [55]: 56, ar-Rahmān [55]: 72, al-Wāqiah [56] 35- 37, and at-Tin [95]: 4. The second category, appearance: al-A'raf [7]: 31, al-A'raf [7]: 32, an-Nahl [16]: 81, an- Nur [24]: 31, al-Ahzab [33]: 59 and al-Mudatsir [74]: 4. The meaning of beauty is always associated with an angel so that beauty according to the criteria of an angel is inner and outer beauty, beauty in appearance and character. Beauty always goes hand in hand with appearance, the ethics of good appearance according to the Qur'an is to choose clothes that are not tight, closed, not thin and not flashy in color. The Qur'an considers all women the same, that is, each has a level of beauty, the only difference being the level of piety. women are expected to always improve the quality of morals (inner beauty) and pay attention to ethics in appearance that is still neat and clean (pleasant to the eye).

Abstract

The uniqueness of Islam lies in the fact that Islam itself is a religion that is based on a classical text, namely the Koran. The role of Muslim leaders is very important, and they make themselves reformers in understanding the text of the Koran, both by interpreting the Koran as a whole, thematically and so on. To understand the message of a Qur'anic text, a special formulation is needed to achieve a perfect understanding. One of them is the semantics of the Qur'an. This research is a literature review (library research) which is included in the category of historical textual research on manuscripts, the material object of this research is the Koran related to the terminology of the key word: al-khusyu'. In this study, descriptive and analysis-synthesis methods were used. Descriptive methods were mainly used to collect data and carry out an inventory of the word al-khusyu' in the Qur'an. While the analysis-synthesis in question is researching and reading in depth so as to get maximum results. The word al-khusyu' in the Qur'an has many meanings, including: submission to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, submission to Allah, submission of the soul, voice, sight, obedience to the commands of Allah, humility to Allah, solemn in reaching Allah swt, turning his eyes towards the lower.

Abstract

Ta'aruf is interpreted as the application process for prospective grooms and prospective brides before they carry out the marriage proposal (Khitbah). Usually, people whose marriages were carried out previously with the taaruf process are only in certain circles, for example the Islamic  boarding school students (santri) or the religious scholars. However, the taaruf phenomenon has also developed and expanded to all levels of society, even to remote villages. One of them is the Tiangau village community who choose to marry through ta'aruf. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The informant selection technique was purposive sampling which determined informants based on criteria that were able to answer the formulation of the problem, namely taaruf actors, ustad who became a liaison for taaruf and the Tiangau village community. As for data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are the meaning of ta'aruf marriage in the Tiangau community, namely ta'aruf marriage as the implementation of the teachings of Islamic law, ta'aruf marriage as a medium for couples to get to know each other, and as obedience to God Almighty. The meaning of taaruf is also in accordance with the meaning of the letter Annisa verse 1 which states about please help and love your partner. This means that getting to that stage starts with getting to know each other (ta'aruf) between men and women with the intention that marriage will be a good way.

Abstract

Happiness in real life is sometimes manifested in the perception of each individual in interpreting it. The form and method of obtaining it may differ from one individual to another. The study in this paper the author will discuss about happiness in the perspective of philosophy and Sufism. The method used in this paper is literature study in which the main source comes from literature consisting of books and scientific journal articles. The results of the research show that in the study of philosophy the highest goodness of humans is called happiness, and to achieve this a human being is required to do goodness and virtue. According to Sufis, the worldly sometimes often makes people forget, whereas actually being happy is always being close to Allah swt.

Abstract

In Islam, religious beliefs can vary, as well as in the realm of Sufism. Understanding wahdatul form and wahdat as-syuhud for example. These two understandings are often discussed by several Sufism figures, one of which is Sheikh Yusuf al-Makasari. His thoughts on these two understandings were very influential in the archipelago. Not a few people think that the teachings of wahdatul embodiment or wahdat as-syhuhud are misguided understandings. However, if examined further, there is no error in these teachings, because basically the understanding between the two Sufis is taken from the Qur'an and hadith as well as other Sufi opinions. The method used in the research is a qualitative way, namely looking for reference sources both from journals and electronic books. Wahdatul embodiment and wahdat as-syuhud are understandings that were originally carried out by the Sufis to find a way so that they could be closer to Allah. By imitating one of the characters, Sheikh Yusuf, we can learn a lot from the story of his lifetime. Sheikh Yusuf is a Sufi who comes from the island of Makassar. In his understanding of Sufism, according to him, wahdatul form is different from wahdat as-syuhud. From wahdat as-syuhud, it does not invite much controversy from other Sufi scholars, unlike the case with wahdatul embodiment, there are still many who argue about its practice. But basically these two concepts are related to each other.

Abstract

The spiritual emptiness of modern humans stems from the epistemology of Western positivism, which fails to fulfill its promise to bring humans to a happy standard of living. Therefore, it is necessary to study alternative epistemology for future knowledge for the sake of human happiness itself. As a mystical science in Islam, Sufism invites people to directly absorb knowledge from the "Source of Knowledge," Allah SWT. This kind of knowledge, of course, not only gives intellectual satisfaction but also heals the spiritual emptiness of today's man. This literature study concludes the research results through an analytical description. The study's results explain that Sufi epistemology emphasizes the subject (human) to obtain correct knowledge. Subjects who want to know must first purify their souls (qalb). After the soul is pure, then, like a mirror, the soul will catch and reflect that knowledge from Allah SWT because the proper knowledge in the study of Sufism is the light of Allah. To absorb light, the mirror must first be cleaned. That way, actual knowledge or nur will bring people happiness, not just intellectual satisfaction.

Abstract

The modernization era, with its advances in science and technology, has had an impact on the survival of society. One of the consequencesis the phenomenon of urbanization, which is the movement of rural peopletocities in searchof a more advanced urban life. Because of technological advancements, today's society has separated spiritual and socialneeds. As a result, urban communities have less spirituality than rural communities, which still have strong religiousnuances. This study aims to investigate the meaning of Neosufism in the live sofurbanites in order to educate them about spirituality in light of theincreasingly complex problemsthaturbanitesface as a result of technological advancements. This researchutilizes a literature review method, obtaining articles related to topics within the last 5 years. The meaning of Neosufism can be defined as one of the Sufi schools that combines a social perspective with a spiritual or religious perspective. In thiscase, it is capable of assisting urbanites by raising religious awareness and making religion not only a symbol but also anideology in living life to calm the body and spirit from the problems they face because the main focus is the spirit of the vitality of Muslim socio-moral reconstruction.
