Abstract

Studi dan analisis dalam tulisan ini  di latar belakangi dengan menyikapi kinerja seorang jurnalis muslim dalam menjalankan pekerjaannya menyampaikan informasi kepada public. Jurnalis muslim sejati adalah seorang pejuang, seorang intelektual yang melakukan jihad fi sabilillah di medan perang, seorang pembaharu, penegak dan pembela kebenaran, pencerah pemikiran dan penoreh gagasan kepada ummat.  Seorang jurnalis profesional ia memeliki jenjang karier yang bagus. Jenjang karier yang bagus itu pada hakikatnya telah diterapkan di semua perusahaan pers dimana si wartawan tersebut bekerja. Kinerja seorang jurnalis muslim harus terukur dengan baik, agar  antara promosi dan sanksi dilakukan berdasarkan penilaian yang akurat dan akuntabel. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the influence of communication and employeerelationship management on the performance of employees of PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri BandaAceh Branch. This study uses a survey approach, while the nature of this study is the descriptionand type of research is quantitative descriptive. Samples were 30 employees at PT. Bank SyariahMandiri Banda Aceh Branch. Methods of data collection in this study using a questionnaire. Thequestionnaire in this study by providing or spreading a list of questions to respondents, the resultsof research that has met the test of validity, reliability test and classical assumption is processedto produce the following regression equation, Y = 0.042 X1 + X2 0837 + e. The results of multiplelinear regression model to get that second variable is the communication and management ofemployee relations has a positive influence on employee performance PT. Bank Syariah MandiriBanda Aceh Branch. The coefficient of determination (R ²) were obtained at 0.712. This meansthat 71.2% of employee performance can be explained by communication and employeerelationship management, employee performance while 28.8% described other variables besidesthese two variables.Keywords: Influence, Communication, and Management,

Abstract

This study aims to analyze why there are pro and cons of foreign media in the news of the whippingof gay couples in Aceh. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The subjects ofthis research are some sources of news from media. Data collection techniques were conductedwith library research and documentation. The results obtained after conducting library researchand documentation are two issues that make the media pro and cons against the news of this case.The first is the issue of caning and human right law, and the second is the gay issue of minorities.Pro-gay and anti-Islam stigma are built on the issue of human right violstions and caningpunishmant that considered other forms of torture in various reports.Keywords: News, Foreign Media, Caning Law, and Gay.

Abstract

This research aims to explain about to examine about the role of social media in introducingbilled candidate ahead of the legislative election 2019 in the district of Aceh Jaya and theadvantages and disadvantages in the use of social media by every political actors of Aceh Jaya.The data that is required in writing is obtained through library research and field. Libraryresearch done with how to read text books, legislation, and other reading material related tothis research. While field research done by interviewing informants. The results of the studyshowed that social media has an important role in introducing the embryo candidate forlegislative members. Through social media particularly Facebook, the embryo candidate forlegislative members can promote itself faster, right and would not eat a large amount of moneyin campaigning. In addition, social media users there is no limits in campaigning. Anytime andanywhere during can still be reachable by internet network, so everyone can take advantage ofit. But despite this, social media also has a shortage of displays the existence of the party who isnot responsible to take photos to be made as a mock materials or arranged by these accountscrowd and distributed so that they can execute the popularity and elektabilitas from billedcandidate for legislative members.Key Words: The Role, Media, Political Communication and Legislative Election

Abstract

This research concludes that, Pull Strategy applied by Dalka FM is by looking for target ofadvertiser candidate, then send Dalka FM radio profile which inside is designed as possible.Another strategy is to include the price of the ad. It is intended that the advertiser becomesinterested in contacting and responding to the offer letter, or by visiting the prospect's businesspremises or face to face immediately and approaching to offer direct advertising. Push Strategyto encourage advertiser interest into a desire to work together by providing spot bonuses orviews for advertisers. Pass Strategy to expand marketing and create public opinion and positiveimage by holding events on air and off air, held events in the form of field activities to get closerto the community.Keywords: Communication Strategy, Dalka FM Radio, Advertisement.

Abstract

This research aims to explain about to examine about the role of social media in making public decisions ahead of the legislative election 2019 in the district of Aceh Jaya. The data that is required in writing is obtained through library research and field. Library research done with how to read text books, legislation, and other reading material related to this research. While field research done by interviewing informants. The results of the study showed that the process of forming public opinion cannot be formed by itself. The process of forming public opinion consists of several stages, namely Phase I which is caused by several factors: cultural background, past, espoused values and news that develops. Stage 2 the formation of perception in the community, the third stage is formed, the fourth stage is the consensus, namely the last and last process or agreement on a public opinion. Through Facebook media, the process of forming public opinion is very fast. This happens to the maximum extent possible for people who use social media

Abstract

Implementation of periodically election periodically show that Indonesia is one of the countries which embrace democratic system. Meanwhile in the process, election requires political participation presences from citizen to declare and define their desire as a source of the legitimacy. However the facts, political participation of the citizen in 2017’s election tend to decrease than a couple years before. This matter occur because amount of corruption news that to be exposed in mass media. It was impact to disappearance of political trust and interest the beginner voters who didn’t realize that their apathetic attitude would aggravate to political environtment in Indonesia. This research aim to analysis how the corruption news which reported in mass media take effect about the apathetic attitude of beginner voters. Which uses cultivation theory, this research apply the quantitative approach and positivism paradigm that use survey research. Data collection techniques of probability sampling with 93 respondents samples. With simple linear regression method, was indicate a positive and significant dominant influence about the media access experience of beginner voters with political apathetic tendency, with contribution of influence 73,1%, R 2=0.0731, ß=0,855 and p<0,01. Abstract

Almost twenty one years Indonesia escape from the clutches from the regime of Orde Baru, in fact this nation does not necessarily become a democratic nation. The concept of citizenship embodied in the fourth principle of Pancasila which should interpreted as a citizen of the owner of supreme sovereignty in a country, it misinterpreted into objects which is influenced by the wisdom of the authorities, and the implementation of democracy is run solely limited to compliance with the rules and not within the framework to empower citizens. In the middle uncertainty of finding the ideal form of democracy, appear discourse on deliberative democracy which emphasizes the active participation of citizens through the media and the vocal organizations to play a very significant influence in the process of establishing the legal and political policies. If we explored it more deeply, this idea looks similar to the idea of Democracy of Pancasila which was popularized by the founding fathers of Indonesia. Offering a more humanistic approach, egalitarian, and accommodating this idea seems quite interesting if it actually implemented in Indonesia.Keyword: Citizens, Deliberative, Democracy, Participation.

Abstract

Strategy of tourism destination branding is an important factor in the the process of tourism development of a region. As well as it happens in Aceh, which is the only province in Indonesia applying  the islamic sharia. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the strategy of destination branding conducted by Department of Culture and Tourism in Aceh. The strategy is started from the vision and stakeholder management, target consumer and portfolio matching, positioning and differentiation strategies using brand components, communication strategies, feedback and response management strategies. The theory used to analyze this strategy is the theoretical principles of tourism destination branding. This study is qualitative descriptive with the case study method. Data collecting method is conducted through in-depth interviews with 8 informants coming from branding team, observations and documentation. The result shows that the strategy undertaken by Department of Culture and Tourism with the branding team of Aceh has been going well, especially in the marketing communication activity. It was marked with a plenty of program related to the implementation of marketing, either using print media, electronic media, billboards, and internet media, especially social media. However, in the branding activity, there are actually some obstacles should be faced, such as the industry player which is less cooperative to provide halal certification  for an  aprecondition for halal tourism, lack of budget allocation, and the low awareness of public participation. Therefore, more socialization is needed for the players of tourism industry and also the community to raise their awareness and responsibilty in order to jointly support the development of Aceh tourism.

Abstract

This article explains about the relation of media and politics and how the position ofhow the media position in Indonesian politics. Shoemaker and Reese have twoapproaches see the media , namely passive and active . The passive approach occurs when the media represent reality without distortion . Active approach is when the media come to frame social reality into the reality of media. The second approach is what makes media are not neutral and do tend to be biased in their reporting because the media no longer represent the event as a whole but with some viewpoints that are considered attractive. It is often also referred to as media manipulation. The media in a democracy should be able to independently and not closer to the government and the market.Keywords: Media, Politics and Democratization
