Abstract

Now these online purchases have become convenience for buyers. Pet shop owners sell food products and other animal-related products using desktop-based programs so that not many people know about the products being sold. Many animal shelters require funds for daily needs and medical care. If the animals are well maintained and healthy, they will be adopted by potential adopters who can care for them. The result of this adoption is one way to obtain funds for fees and other animal care at the shelter. The shop owner also wants to invite shoppers to help abandoned animals by offering donations. This design application is made to sell products needed by animal-based websites, as well as designing donations that will be offered to customers. The donation begins with the purchase of products in the form of pet food and other products. The donations will be distributed to animal shelters that can care for and maintain animal health. Customers can also see the donation bookkeeping based on the expenditure of funds from the donations collected and display animals that have been treated. In the development of this application program made with several stages of software development using the Waterfall Method which will be discussed sequentially according to the stages. As for making this application using the PHP programming language and Javascript, with the CodeIgniter framework, and for the database using MySQL. With the sale of products and web-based donations, this can provide more extensive information about the products being sold and at the same time invite customers to take care of abandoned animals.

Abstract

The Library is a facility that is used as a place to access information. The library contains various information needed by the public with various books from various fields. In this digital era, not a few libraries still use conventional methods for data management processes. As records for borrowing and returning books that are still done manually, such as handwriting on large books. So it is not uncommon missing data. With this, the researcher aims to create a library information system that aims to make it easier for library staff to record loans and return books. The development method used is the prototype method. The conclusion obtained in this study is the e-library application can help users in the process of data collection and data management of borrowing and returning books.

Abstract

Agriculture in Singojuruh Subdistrict, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province has 57 Farmers Groups in 11 villages (Alas Malang, Benelan Kidul, Gambor, Singojuruh, Singolatren, Lemahbang Kulon, Gumirih, Padang, Cantuk, Kemiri, and Sumber Baru) in which need information on organic and inorganic agriculture for agricultural processing, including: piracy, irrigation, fertilization, planting and pest control. In an effort to facilitate farmers in knowing information on organic and inorganic agriculture, a web-based ITFARM system is needed. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with observation, interview and literature study as well as using agile methods for timebox planning, Daily Stand-Up Meeting (Elicitation Requirements, Detail System Design, Coding Development & Testing), Demonstration and Retrospective Meeting. IT-FARM system users, namely: farmers, Agricultural Counseling Centers (BPP) and administrators. The conclusion obtained in this study is a Web-based IT-FARM system built using the agile method where the web can inform how to plant, pirate, irrigate, fertilize, and control pests both organic and inorganic agriculture. BPP Singojuruh Subdistrict, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province can use the TI-FARM system for materials that can be delivered to farmer groups to go to Superior Agriculture. Admin can manage data about organic and inorganic agriculture. Information about agriculture can be seen by the BPP and the Farmers' Group.

Abstract

Assessment Test is one of the routine agenda that is carried out every semester change. This test is conducted to see the development of students in learning activities. Currently SMK 5 Kota Tangerang already uses a mobile application using the PENTAS application in answering the exam questions. But this application needs to be done to understand applications that can be used properly, or vice versa. This study uses the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to measure the use of this application for use. This SUS method has 10 questions that will be answered by respondents who are directly involved in using the PENTAS application. The average score obtained by the System Use Scale method is 46.00. These results fall into the Unacceptable category, so this PENTAS application is not good for use.

Abstract

Common surveillance device that used to monitor an area is known as CCTV. The CCTV will provide results in the form of video recordings, which can then be accessed by wireless communication. In its use, CCTV needs humans to monitor the real condition of the area/place. Then the use of CCTV becomes less efficient when used to oversee a place where the room rarely has movement. Because CCTV cannot detect or identify suspicious actions automatically. This research aim to develop a method that can be used to identify the activity (irregular movements) automatically. In this case, the change to be determined was the activities towards the Politeknik Caltex Riau Computer Based Test (CBT) participants. The CBT room has been employed by the IP Camera to identify participant activities. The IP camera captures the image and the image is then processed by the feature extraction method. Proposed feature exctraction method are background subtraction and pixel mapping. Pixel mapping is a method that maps objects based on specified ratio data. There are 18 ratio data generated by this feature extraction process. The determination of the illegal activities done by using the k-Nearest Neighbor. The Algorithm detects the illegal movement by using 502 datasets, and the accuracy obtained was between 98% - 98.4% with an average accuracy of 98.2% for the value of neighborliness = 3. The result can conclude that the method can identify the illegal activities of a CBT participant in the CBT room

Abstract

The development of information technology is increasingly developing, so that makes the human mindset of the desired information needs can be accessed easily, quickly, and accurately. This boat booking is a type of booking that is rarely known by many people and almost everyone only knows about booking hotels, along with the many tourist attractions such as the islands that require tourists to go using the boat to the tourist site, an application is needed to make it easy for tourists to book a ship, from the existing problems for booking and chartering the ship is still done manually by contacting the shipowner directly and for the payment process that is done is still using a manual system that is done after completing using the ship which is feared the charterer can cancel the charter . In this study, the authors used a methodology with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and literature study while application development uses SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) with a waterfall approach and in this study, the authors used the Fisher-Yates Shuffle algorithm while for modeling using UML (Unified Modeling Language). With the Android-based ship booking application, it can facilitate the tourists in getting information in booking a boat that can be done online.

Abstract

The short film Allure of Culture tells the story of the appeal of culture to the youngergeneration. Three teenagers from different cities with different languages, eachdifferent, and also each learning from each other. The film is set in the Banyuwangiarea. and has a lot of local cultural wisdom that is still preserved by the Banyuwangicommunity which attracts visitors, including teenagers. They will not forget theculture, now rarely use local languages, they do not want to forget local languages.The benefit of the short film Allure of Culture is to invite the Indonesian people tonot forget to keep preserving the culture of their respective regions. One of them stilluses local language everyday. Not only language, in this film also asked to remainrelated to culture, for example Banyuwangi the tradition of kebo-keboan. This filmuses the Continuity Cutting editing technique. The Continuity Cutting technique isa method of editing a film that contains an extension of two scenes that havecontinuity. The development method used is qualitative and quantitative methods.The conclusion obtained in this research is producing a film that aims to support theeducation in Banyuwangi for all of Indonesia, also invites Indonesian people,especially young people, to preserve local agriculture by using everyday languageand maintaining local wisdom.

Abstract

Making a work through a short film is a pride to make a better experience for thefuture. With the short film can put wisdom or a lesson in it and draw the attention ofthe audience to learn to make short films, for hobbies and to work in the field ofvideography. In making a short film, it certainly requires technical requirements init. So that people who see, make and understand the contents in the short film so theycan know the techniques used. One of them is to make a short film entitled IT inMillennial Daily Life by using handheld techniques and continuity cutting in it. Theexistence of making a short film with the title IT in Millennial Daily Life, has theaim to provide information that today many people who in their daily lives are verydependent on technology. The use of technology that can be done anytime andanywhere or commonly called IT for life. In making the short film, using the twotechniques already mentioned, namely the handheld technique and continuitycutting, which aims to produce videos that do not shake or shake, and the continuitycutting technique in the video editing process produces a video transfer that is nottoo flashy. Abstract

Academic Information System is a means of supporting academic activities in STMIK HangTuah Pekanbaru by utilizing web-based technology. However, the application of webtechnology on Academic information System in STMIK Hang Tuah Pekanbaru can notalways run as desired, sometimes the information system cannot be accessed due to technicalconstraints or other factors. Based on these problems, an application was created that couldrun on instant messages and could be used via smartphones or other devices as mediainformation for students, namely utilization of telegram bot based on PHP and MySQL asacademic information at STMIK Hang Tuah Pekanbaru. This telegram bot is made using theWebhook method and can run on all operating systems that have Telegram Messengerinstalled. This bot is able to provide academic information including lecture schedules, grades,filling in krs, short semester submissions and research submissions, it is hoped that thetelegram bot will make it easier for students to get academic information through smartphonedevices that can be accessed anytime.

Abstract

Wearable devices can be used to detect activities. The size of the wearable device is relativelysmall and easy to wear on clothing so it does not complicate the movement of its users. In thisstudy wearable devices or wearable systems were developed using a three-axis accelerometersensor. The detected activities are walking, sitting and lying down. The technique used todetect activity is to use a threshold value. For walking activities use the y axis accelerationwhose value has been reduced from the influence of gravity. The threshold value for thecurrent activity consists of two, namely: the lower threshold value and the upper thresholdvalue, the lower threshold value is between -1 to -2 and for the upper threshold value rangesfrom 1 to 2. The sitting and lying activity uses the value acceleration on the x, y, and z axes.For sitting activity the x-axis threshold value is between -0.5 to 0.5, the y-axis value is between9 and 10, and the z-axis value is -0.5 to 0.5. The threshold value of lying activities on the xaxis is between -0.5 and 0.5, the y-axis is between -0.5 and 0.5, while the z-axis is between 9and 10. The test results on wearable devices used to detect walking, sitting and lying activitiesshow, the percentage of results of running activities by 60%, for testing sitting activity by 65,while for lying down activity by 60%, each test is carried out 20 times.
