Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of brand image and cost of education partially to the student's decision in choosing Management Study Program at STIE Rahmaniyah Sekayu, (2) influence of brand image and educational cost simultaneously to student decision in choosing Management Studies Program STIE Rahmaniyah Sekayu. This research is a causality research. The population of this study is a student of Management Studies Program of 2013/2014 as much as 360 people. The number of samples of 79 people was determined using Slovin formula with a margin of error of 10%. The sample was chosen by using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by using questionnaire method and analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research shows that (1) brand image have an effect on student's decision in choosing Management Study Program at STIE Rahmaniyah Sekayu, (2) education cost influence to student decision in choosing Management Study Program at STIE Rahmaniyah Sekayu, (3) brand image and cost of education influence student's decision in choosing Management Study Program at STIE Rahmaniyah Sekayu.

Abstract

This study entitled " the effect of motivation and job satisfaction toward job performance of Badan Pusat Statistik employees Ogan Ilir regency”. Population is used in this study is 31 persons employees of Badan Pusat Statistik Ogan Ilir regency and all of population is as sample, too by consideration that all the employees have more than two years working period and they have status as civil servants. Sampling technique used saturated sampling. Partially research result showed that motivation has no significantly effect towards employees job performance but in contrast job satisfaction has a partially significanteffect Towards empolyees job performance of Badan Pusat Statistik Ogan Ilir regency with f obtained value is 10.295 andR square value is 0.433 (43.3%) with multiple regression equation:Y=6.619 + 0,256X1 + 0,3X2 + e. While dominant variable which is influence Badan Pusat Statistik employees' job performance in Ogan Ilir regency is job satisfaction variable by significant valUe (p=0.05 and b=0.3). If the employees' job satisfaction is high so organization performance will be good and vice versa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the influence of price, product quality, and location of the buying decision on the food stalls located in the vicinity of Simpang Lima, Semarang. And this research also aims to analyze the most dominant factors that influence on buying decisions of food stalls located in the vicinity of Simpang Lima, Semarang. The population used in this study is consumers who ever or frequently eat on the food stalls located in the vicinity of Simpang Lima, Semarang. The sample in this study are 80 respondents and the techniques used are non-probability sampling technique with the approach of accidental sampling (sampling based on chance). From the analysis result, the indicators in this study are valid and valid variables. And the most dominant factor that influence on purchase decisions are price variables, then the location variable, and the last is the quality of produk variable. The dependent variables in this study are good enough in explaining the independent variable (purchase decisions). Writer’s advice is for food stalls located in the vicinity of Simpang Lima, Semarang need to preserve the good things that have been assessed by consumers and repair the things that not good enough in consumer’s sight.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh motivasiterhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai pada dinas perdagangan danperindustrian Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, berdasarkan data primer dan datasekunder yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner.Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini 94 orang. Metode penelitianmenggunakan analisa kuantitatif dan kualitatif, metode analisa kualitatifmenggunakan uji validitas, menggunakan uji analisa regresi sederhana, ujianalisa korelasi. Jumlah responden penelitian sebanyak 94responden.Variabel bebas penelitian ini yaitu motivasi dan variabelterikatnya yaitu Produktivitas Kerja Pegawai. Hasil uji statistik untukpengaruh motivasi terhadap produktivas kerja pegawai didapat nilai thitung(5,698) > ttabel(1,986.), yang artinya terdapat pengaruh positif antara motivasidengan produktivitas kerja pegawai.

Abstract

This research entitled "The effect of work motivation towards job performance of Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah employees of Musi Banyuasin Regency". Population in this research is 60 persons of Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah employees of Musi Banyuasin regency. The sample of this research is all of BPBD employees Musi Banyuasin regency, so that this reaserch is called as population research, where all of population with the total number of 60 is as sample. Sampling technique that is used is using saturated sampling. The research findings showed that Motivation has impact towardsemployees' job performance of Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Musi Banyuasin regency. from the validity and reliability testresult by using SPSS is got if r obtained value≥ r table, motivation value is 0.610 and employees' job performance value is 0.616 so this value is higher than r critical value of product moment that is 0.254 (look at appendices of r table).Constants is 6.218, regression coeffisient of motivation variable (X) is 0.851. Based on t-test value ia got that t-obtained value is higher than t - table value (14.569 > 2.002).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work safety programs on employee productivity at PT. Musi Banyuasin Indah. The method in this research is simple linear regression model. The population in this study all employees of PT Musi Banyuasin Indah which amounted to 578 people. The sample in this study amounted to 86 respondents taken using random sampling. The data studied is employee questionnaire data of PT Musi Banyuasin Indah. The results of this study can be seen that there is a significant influence between the safety program on employee work productivity PT. Musi Banyuasin Indah. The result of kofisien termination obtained by value of R square (R2) equal to 0,312 or 31,2%. This means the work safety program affecting work productivity by 31.2%, the remaining 68.8% influenced by other variables/factors not included/investigated in this study.

Abstract

Effect of liquidity, solvency, profitability against mining company value in indonesian stock exchange (BEI).purpose to determine the effect of liquidity, solvency, profitability of the value mining company in indonesian stock exchange (BEI). the data used in this research is the data time series,a variabel which is used liquidity Current Ratio, Cash Ratio, Solvency Debt To Equity Ratio, Debt To Aset Ratio, profitability Net Profit Margin, Earning Pershare again the study population valueof the company is amining company listed on the indonesian stock exchange period 2009-2013. The technique of taking sample uses purposive sampling and obtained 14companies were selected as sample.the analysis technique used in this researchis to test assumtions of linear regression. including normality test heterokedastisitas test, multicolinearity test, autocorrelation test, test the hypothesis that the F test and t test.fidding indicates that the variable liquidity (Current Rasio X1,Cash Rasio X2), solvency (Debt To Asset Ratio X3, Debt To Equity Ratio X4), profitability Net Profit Margin (X5),Earning Pershare (X6) on mining company indonesian stock exchange shows influence significant together against the value of company.partial Current Rasio (X1),Cash Rasio (X2), Debt To Asset Ratio (X3), Debt To Equity Ratio (X4), Net Profit Margin (X5),Earning Pershare (X6)had no significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

Bisnis plan atau perencanaan usaha sangat penting bagi wirausaha dalam memulai maupun mengembangkan bisnis seorang wirausaha, jika rencana usaha tersebut dibuat secara irasional, tidak cepat dan tepat sasaran, maka diduga kuat dalam pelaksanaan usahanya akan tertinggal bahkan gagal dalam persaingan bisnis yang semakin kompleks pada era MEA saat ini.Khalayak sasaran/mitra kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) adalah merupakan wirausaha percetakan berskala kecil, yaitu: mitra ke-1 CV. EkaMulia Jati Production (EMJ Production) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang percetakan, alamat perusahaan di jalan W.R. Supratman No.40 Cempaka Putih, Ciputat Timur, Tangerang Selatan, sedangkan mitra ke-2 adalah UD. Alief Jaya Finishing yang berdomisili di Jalan Mawar No. 9, Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan.Permasalahan mitra yang bersifat urgent yang harus diberikan solusinya adalah: 1). Khalayak sasaran/mitra dalam pembuatan bisnis plan sebagian besardalam penilaian maupun pengambilan keputusannya secara irasional. 2). Khalayak sasaran/mitra tidak dapat membuat bisnis plan pengembangan usahasecara rasional, efektif dan efisien. dan 3). Khalayak sasaran/mitra belum menerapkan bantuan komputer, program descriptive statistic dan penyajian tabelmenggunakan program microsoft office excel minimal tahun 2007 sebagai alat bantu pengambilan keputusan bisnis plan pengembangan usaha.Metode pendekatan dan penyelesaian yang akan dilakukan adalah upaya pemberian solusi yang ditawarkan dengan beberapa metode, yaitu: 1). Urunrembug, yaitu: pertemuan bernuansa kekeluargaan untuk memahami secara rinci kondisi, kebutuhan dan potensi mitra. 2). Dikusi terarah (Focused GroupDiscussion-FGD) untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada mitra tentang orientasi solusi yang diberikan. 3). Pelatihan: kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan keterampilan pemanfaatan descriptive statistic dan tabel menggunakan program excel sebagai alat manajemen dalam rangka penilaian untuk pengambilan keputusan rasional pada bisnis plan 4). Jangka waktu: 8 bulan masa pelatihan. pembelajaran, pembinaan, pendampingan, pembimbingan maupun praktek, evaluasi dan review hingga mitra dapat megumpulkan, mengolah, dan membuat penyajian data baik secara tabel dan descriptive statistic pada program excel minimal tahun 2007, sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan bisnis plan pengembangan usaha yang berdampak kepada peningkatan pendapatan bisnis dan daya saing produk. Melalui kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini luaran/keluaran yangdiharapkan, adalah khalayak sasaran/mitra dapat membuat bisnis plan pengembangan usaha secara rasional, efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Bureaucracy services in Indonesia haven’t given satisfaction to the society. One of services that always complained is about queue problem. Queue system that isn’t optimal will give society’s dissatisfaction. Among bureaucracy systems that need to get concern is queue at PolsekPamulang-Kota Tangerang Selatan especially at SKCK service. So that, it is needed to be done a research to analyze and testing queue system modeling which has been applied by PolsekPamulang for SKCK service, analyze the effectiveness of the queue system performance of PolsekPamulang, and to determine the optimal number of services (counters)that should be used by PolsekPamulang. Method of research was done by queue theory approach. The research findings showed that queue of SKCK services at PolsekPamulang based on steady state calculation wasn’t effective.Because the steady state value still far from one number. The total of counter (a unit only) for SKCK service is still optimal, because of waiting time (queue) is still low. The length of queue on the system isn’t because of the large number of applicants, but it’s more focus on service standard to verify the document that needs more than 30 minutes for each document.

Abstract

“Kota Tanpa Kumuh” (KOTAKU) program is an advanced program of National Community Empowerment Program of Urban Mandiri that has accelerated program for handling urban slums and reducing poverty and so KOTAKU provides access to financial services for poor households by market – based micro loans with many activities which generate income that usually don’t have any access to other loan sources, to improve their economic conditions and activities those support economic growth and micro business , besides that teach them in managing loans and use it correctly.nevertheless, KOTAKU isn’t micro finance program, KOTAKU role only builds sustainable basic solutions for loan services and non – loan services at the “kelurahan” level. This research goal is to describe whether internal control system credit application applied to KOTAKU has been in accordance with the elements of internal control based on Committee Of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO). The method was used in this research is qualitative method, qualitative method is usually called as naturalistic research method because the research was conducted in the natural conditions, it’s also called as ethnography method, because in the beginning, this method is more widely used for research in cultural anthropology, it’s called as qualitative research because data have been collected and its analysis is more qualitative. The finding results is rolling loan lending system that is conducted by KOTAKU has completed internal controlling aspects based on COSO, except control activities components in the elements of separation of duties, namely lending isn’t separate from the loan inspection , and supervision component on the element of internal auditing that is internal which is not separate by LKM. And the recommendation can be given those are (1) giving and checking loans, and (2) internal auditing should be separated by LKM officer so that there is no collusion and irregulaties.
