Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which Efforts to Increase Participation and Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Learning through Cooperative Learning Approach Group Study Model (Group Investigation) in Class IX-3 Students of SMP Negeri 1 Taliwang. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle has two meetings and an assessment is carried out at the end of each cycle to determine whether there is an increase in student participation in social studies learning and social studies material mastery. The action given is in the form of a group study model as an effort to improve social studies learning and increase participation and social studies learning outcomes, the research was carried out on Class IX-3 students of SMP Negeri 1 Taliwang. The results of data analysis show that learning the group study model can increase student activity. Students dare to ask questions, communicate, answer questions from teachers, friends, or other groups and dare to defend their opinions when discussing. The increase in participation and social studies learning outcomes can be seen from the acquisition of student scores before the action was given, which was an average of 71.25, to 77.14 in the first cycle. The achievement of material mastery before the action was taken was 13 students (46.43%), increased to 20 students (71.42%) in cycle I. In cycle II the average value increased to 84.71 and students who had achieved completeness 28 students (85.71%) in the final test of the cycle the average score of students became 80.93 The Group Study learning model was able to increase student learning participation in class IX- 3 at SMP Negeri 1 Taliwang because learning with the Group Study model can create an active, innovative, creative and fun learning atmosphere

Abstract

This study aims to describe student learning activities and creativity in the application of the TASMUCO learning method (talking stick music with combination) with an open-ended approach. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative and qualitative approach with a description type. The research subjects were 28 students at MTs Yasim Nata. The data generated by using a questionnaire with a Likert scale type. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of student activity data, which obtained an average score of 3.41 with a good category. As for the results of the data analysis of student creativity, the overall average value of all indicators obtained an average of 3.21 with a good category. This shows that the application of the TASMUCO learning method (talking stick music with combination) with an open ended has a positive impact on student learning activities and creativity. So it is recommended for educators to use innovative methods in learning such as TASMUCO (talking stick music with combination) with an open-ended approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the implementation of the who am I quiz strategy to increase student interest in social studies learning at SMP Negeri 5 Taliwang. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) carried out in class IX of SMP Negeri 5 Taliwang. The research was carried out in collaboration with a Social Studies subject teacher for Class IX at SMP Negeri 5 Taliwang. The research subjects taken were class IX for social studies subjects, with a sample of 21 people, 10 men, and 11 women. On average, students have less ability because the school's input is lower middle NUN, and the level of student discipline is lacking. Based on the results of data analysis and research findings, it was concluded that the implementation of classroom action research carried out in class IX of SMP Negeri 5 Taliwang using the who I was quiz learning strategy was carried out in 2 cycles. In the first cycle, the results were not as expected, because students tended to be passive. After there is a good activity, in the implementation of the second cycle there is a very significant change in a very good direction, 75% more students have shown activeness in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which science learning outcomes have been improved by using a cooperative learning model of the student teams achievement division (STAD) type in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Taliwang. The type of research used is classroom action research, the CAR procedure consists of 2 cycles or more. Each cycle is carried out in accordance with the changes to be achieved. Each cycle consists of 1) planning, 2) implementing actions, 3) observing, 4) reflecting. This research was conducted on eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Taliwang. From the results of the study, it was found that student learning outcomes in light science learning using the STAD type cooperative learning model in class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Taliwang experienced an increase in each cycle, this can be seen from the level of student learning mastery per cycle, namely in the pre-cycle with a KKM of 75 students. In the pre-cycle there were 8 students or 33.33% who completed, then there was an increase in the first cycle, namely, there were 13 students or 54.17% and in the second cycle there were 20 students or 83.33%, while the learning activities of students in the first cycle were 11 students or 45.83% and in the second cycle there were 21 students or 87.50%, the results were in accordance with the specified indicators.

Abstract

Learning is a purposeful and controlled effort so that other people learn or there are relatively permanent changes in other people. The aims of this study are: 1) Describe the geography learning plan through the use of Mind Mapping techniques. 2) Assessing the implementation of Geography learning through the use of Mind Mapping. 3) Knowing the increase in student learning outcomes in the subject of Geography by using Mind Mapping. In this research, the approach used is qualitative research in the form of classroom action. Classroom action research (CAR) is different from ordinary research because this research has special characteristics, namely, it has cycles that begin with planning, then action, observation (as well as assessment) to reflection, this research was carried out in class X at SMAN 1 Lambu Bima District. The process of assessing learning achievement in learning using mind mapping in improving the learning achievement of class XA students in Geography lessons at SMAN 1 Lambu there is a significant change in learning outcomes, this is marked by an increase in student achievement in each cycle, namely cycle I the average value average (60.5%) the second the cycle the average value (72.6%), and the third cycle the average value (84.3%).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve IPA learning outcomes in students with Midi Webcam learning media that have the characteristics of providing stimulus or stimulation, hypothesis submission, data collection, and presentation. Class Action Research is carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of action planning, action execution, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 26 students of class VII-1 SMP Negeri 1 Taliwang with teaching materials of The Organization of Life System. Research instruments in the form of teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, and evaluation tests were used in this study to collect data. Research results data are analyzed descriptively to determine the implementation of learning and improvement of student learning outcomes. The results showed improvements in students' learning outcomes after being given action on each implementation cycle in the study. Based on the results of research it can be concluded that learning with Midi Webcam media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the principal's role as a learning role at SMP IT An-Nisa Dompu, and to determine the extent of the implementation of Permendiknas No. 28 of 2010 concerning the role of school principals and their position in organizing educational units in schools. The type of research used is a qualitative research method, which is carried out by collecting data in the form of numbers, the data in the form of numbers are then processed and analyzed to obtain scientific information behind these numbers. As a school principal, he must have a leadership spirit and be able to provide guidance and supervision, increase the willingness of educational staff, open two-way communication, and delegate tasks. conducive school organization that fosters the spirit of educators and students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the Application of Role-Playing Learning Strategies in Improving Motivation and Science Learning Achievement of Class VII-3 Students of SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) with an experimental approach because the symptoms that arise deliberately are learning by playing a role on motivation and science learning achievement, the research was carried out on class VII-3 students of SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea in 2020/2021 lessons. From the results of the study, it was found that there was an increase between cycle 1 to cycle II, both the highest, lowest, average, and standard deviation values. This shows that teaching with the role-playing method can improve student achievement, especially students in grades VII-3 of SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea. where the learning completeness obtained in the first cycle, namely 54.54% can be said to have not been achieved or completed, the second cycle = 86.36% has been completed because it has reached the set target, which is at least 75% of the number of students who get a score or equal to 75. From this also it can be said that there is an increase in classical learning completeness between cycle I to cycle II. Thus, learning with the role-playing method can complete learning outcomes, especially for class VII-3 students of SMP Negeri 1 Brang Rea for the 2020/2021 school year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Islamic boarding school culture in shaping the character of students and to find out what factors were the supporters and obstacles in shaping the character of students. This research was made using a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative research type. The informants in this study were the administrator, the head of the madrasa, ustadzah/ustadz, and several students of the Al-Kautsar Islamic boarding school. In collecting research data using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques which are then analyzed by presenting data, data reduction, and drawing conclusions that will be the results of the research, to test the validity of a research data using triangulation techniques. This research was conducted at the Al-Kautsar Ranggo Islamic Boarding School, Pajo District, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. From the results of the study, it was found that the role played by the Al-Kautsar Islamic Boarding School in shaping the character of the students was the existence of a deep sense of sincerity that the ustadz/ustadz had in providing subject matter, the placement of teaching staff depended on the competencies possessed, and with good cooperation between educators. and administrators in every activity. Supporting factors in the application of students are the support from the community around the Al-Kautsar Islamic boarding school, the presence of experienced ustadz/ustadz, the strong will of students to study religious knowledge, the values โ€‹โ€‹of togetherness between the clerics, administrators, and students, and a sufficient number of teachers or mentors will be able to replace the presence of parents while at the boarding school because they act as models and as therapists. While the inhibiting factor in shaping the character of students is the pattern of student behavior which is sometimes difficult to regulate, the lack of ukhwah Islamiyah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui integrasi sejarah matematika dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi aljabar, dapun yang menjadi fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Data-data yang digunakan penulis bersumber dari literatur yang relevan dengan kasus permasalahan. Beberapa diantaranya bersumber dari buku referensi, jurnal, dan abstrak hasil penelitian. Data yang telah diperoleh dari studi literatur kemudian dipilih sesuai kebutuhan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada. Pengolahan data ini dilakukan dengan mengaitkan data - data yang ada dengan objek gagasan sehingga diperoleh konsep gagasan yang bisa memecahkan permasalahan. Analisis data dalam karya tulis ilmiah ini dilakukan secara deskriptif. hasil analisis di peroleh kesimpulan bahwa pengintegrasian sejarah matematika dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat memotivasi siswa pada materi aljabar memenuhi indikator โ€“ indikator motivasi belajar. Sejarah matematika sebagai media dalam proses belajar, dapat memberikan pengalaman baru bagi siswa serta membuat pembelajaran matematika lebih bermakna karena dihubungkan dengan kehidupan sehari โ€“ hari
