<![CDATA[West Java is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has abundant biodiversity. Cibodas Botanical Garden is one of the tourist destinations in Cianjur Regency which has biodiversity, especially presenting natural scenery which is dominated by a collection of upland vegetation. Currently it is not known how the perception of the visual impression of the beauty of the tourist attraction for tourists. This study aims to assess the value of perceptions of the visual impression of tourists on tourist attraction in Cibodas Botanical Garden. The research method used a quantitative descriptive approach. The research data were obtained from observation and distributing questionnaires to respondents using a sample of 100 people. The research analysis method used the Semantic Differential (SD) method and multidimentional scaling analysis (MDS). The research was conducted on thirteen tourist attractions of Cibodas Botanical Garden.The results showed that the visual impression (SD) arising from Landscape 12 was the most positive with the impression that it was natural, attractive, beautiful, cool and clean. Meanwhile, the landscape with a visual impression that tends to be negative is located in Landscape 9 (Ornamental Garden Gallery), which is artificial, boring, arid, and warm.]]>

<![CDATA[The Covid-19 pandemic situation requires people to do activities from home, including the learning process. Learning from home is a great opportunity for families to take advantage of this situation as a means of strengthening children's character. Strengthening character or also called character education is very important to produce a commendable human, both for himself and his environment. This study aims to explore the use of a pandemic situation as a means of strengthening children's character by parents. With qualitative methods, through a grounded theory approach, this study included three randomly selected participants (random sampling). The data in the study were collected through interviews using open questions. Before the analysis was carried out, the data validity was first checked using the member checking method, followed by analysis using the coding method. From the research conducted, it was found that this pandemic situation could be a means of strengthening children's character by creating independent, responsible, religious, mutual, and nationalist values, becoming a momentum for families to be involved in character education and building harmony with children, making children learn patterns. live clean and healthy, and children are reduced from outside environmental activities that are not useful.]]>

<![CDATA[The presence of make-up artists with uploads of their works on Instagram is a lot of reference cosmetology at this time. This study aims (1) to find out details of traditional bridal make-up made by Make up artist and (2) compare the makeup trends applied to traditional bridal make-up by Make up Artist. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques with documentation. The document is in the form of Instagram social media account holders @heramua, @neymakeup, @mutiarapermata_mua. The results of this research are: (1) Solo Putri bridal make-up on account @heramua is different from Solo Putri makeup in general, that is, not using paes on the bride's forehead. The Bridal Makeup on the @Neymakeup Account uses the Korean look concept, where facial makeup looks natural and fresh. The traditional bride on the account @mutiarapermata_mua flawless make up but slightly emphasizes the makeup in the eye area that is the addition of thick eyelashes and dark eye shadow. (2) Flawless make up was made a concept by @heramua and @mutiarapermata_mua, not only because of client demands but also a trend among adolescent girls because the results of makeup that look more natural. @neymakeup uses the concept of Korean look where the results of facial makeup do not correct the face much and display the face looking natural and fresh. Kehadiran Make up Artis dengan unggahan karyanya pada media Instagram banyak menjadi referensi tata rias pada saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui detail tata rias pengantin tradisional berhijab karya Make up Artis dan (2) membandingkan trend tata rias yang diaplikasikan pada pengantin tradisional berhijab karya Make up Artis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi. Dokumen berupa media sosial instagram pemilik akun @heramua, @neymakeup, @mutiarapermata_mua. Hasil peneliti ini adalah: (1) Tata rias pengantin Solo Putri pada Akun @heramua berbeda dengan riasan Solo Putri pada umumnya yaitu tidak menggunakan paes di dahi pengantin. Tata Rias Pengantin pada Akun @Neymakeup menggunakan konsep Korean look, dimana make up wajah terlihat natural dan segar. Pengantin tradisional pada Akun @mutiarapermata_mua flawless make up tetapi sedikit mempertegas riasan di area mata yaitu penambahan bulu mata yang tebal dan bayangan sudut mata terlihat gelap dan (2) Make up flawless dijadikan konsep oleh @heramua dan @mutiarapermata_mua, tidak hanya karena tuntutan klien tetapi juga trend di kalangan remaja wanita karena hasil make up yang terlihat lebih natural. @neymakeup menggunakan konsep Korean look dimana hasil riasan wajah tidak banyak mengkoreksi wajah dan menampilkan wajah terlihat natural dan segar.]]>

<![CDATA[Character education is considered as education of human morality values which is based on and carried out in real action. There is an element of value formation and attitude based on knowledge to do so. This value is a value that can help better interaction with other people. This value includes various areas of life, for example vertical relationships with God, human relations, relationships with oneself, relationships with the environment, and the state. This study aims to shape the character of children in the family environment in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic that is currently being faced. This is to find out the level of creativity of parents in applying the values of character education in the family environment, to shape children into children with good morals. This study used a qualitative method with one research subject, which was then analyzed using the description of sentences and the results of the research subject, namely interviews. <![CDATA[This study aims to describe factually about Student Creativity in the Stage Makeup course, Department of Make-Up and Beauty, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Padang State University. This study uses a qualitative method. Research data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentary studies. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis. Key informants are students in make-up courses and supporting informants are lecturers of stage make-up. The results showed that the creativity of the students in the Makeup and Beauty Study Program at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Padang State University was not optimal because the students did not demonstrate enough to realize high creativity. Learning runs effectively and efficiently but still does not lead to creative learning. Creative products produced by students are not satisfactory.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang oven sebagai alat pemanggang Lemang Bambu untuk indusrti rumah tangga dengan panas yang dihasilkan oleh gas elpiji, sehingga hasil olahan lemang lebih hemat waktu, hemat tempat, efisien dan praktis. Sejauh ini produksi lemang ketang bamboo masih secara konvensional yaitu menggunakan tungku arang yang umumnya pembakaran lemang dilakukan di halaman rumah. Alat ini dibuat dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu, (1) Identifikasi kebutuhan, (2) Analisis kebutuhan, (3) Perancangan, (4) Pembuatan dan (5) Pengujian. Dengan popularnya makanan adat ini diseluruh penjuru Indonesia, pengolahan makanan ini pun masih secara tradisional, yaitu menggunakan tungku dengan memanfaatkan panas bara api dengan proses pemasakan yang cukup lama dan posisi bambu harus rutin diputar agar tidak ada bagian yang gosong atau terbakar. Bagian bambu yang gosong cenderung membuat lemang menjadi berkulit atau keras. Kecenderungan yang lain dalam pembuatan ini adalah dilakukan dengan bantuan bara api yang tentunya akan menghasilkan asap yang banyak dan tidak baik untuk kesehatan orang yang membuatnya. Kondisi cuaca juga menjadi perhatian. Karena dalam pembuatan lemang apalagi pembakarannya dilakukan diluar ruangan (tanah lapang), hal ini membutuhkan cuaca yang cerah atau tidak hujan. Oven menjadi salah satu solusi yang dapat mengurangi kegagalan dalam pembuatan lemang bamboo, tentunya biaya produksi oven ini pun terjangkau untuk dimiliki oleh masyarakat sebagai usaha industry rumah tangga. Dengan penggunaan oven dapat menghidari dari adanya produk yang gosong. Proses memutar bambu juga tidak dibutuhkan saat pemanggangan menggunakan oven gas ini. Penggunaan oven gas tentunya tidak akan menghasilkan asap pada saat pemanggangan. Alat panggang ini bisa ditempatkan di dalam ruangan seperti dapur, sehingga tidak membutuhkan ruang yang terlalu luas. Selain waktu pemanggangan lebih singkat, pembuatan lemang bambu lebih aman dan higienis serta hemat tenaga kerja. Oven Lemang Bambu ini menghasilkan produk Lemang Bambu sesuai harapan, tekstur dan rasa dengan hasil yang sama dengan hasil pengolahan lemang konfensional. Proses pemanggangan lebih singkat dan tidak menimbulkan asap, proses pemanggangan dimana bamboo tidak perlu diputar-putar serta pemanggangan dapat dilakukan di dalam ruangan.]]>

<![CDATA[Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Area is cultural preservation designated by the Jakarta government as a location for the preservation and development of Betawi culture. As one of the cultural tourism destinations in the center of the Capital that always strives to maintain and improve all important aspects that have an impact on the sustainability of the tourist destination itself. The Tourists mostly come from West Java, Jabodetabek, and Foreign. Therefore, the authors conducted a pre-study on tourists’ revisit intention of Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan which produces that tourists revisit intention is low. Implementing the customer experience to be expected could increase the revisit intention to Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan. This type of research was descriptive quantitative, the survey method used was the questioner with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data analysis technique was using the multiple regression techniques. These results show there is a partial influence on customer experience consisting of comfort, education, hedonic, novelty, safety, and beauty to tourists’ revisit intention of Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan. The beauty dimension of the customer experience variable got the highest score and the intention to recommend in revisit intention got the highest score]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the factors that influence the interest of adult women in facial skincare using the thread lifting method. The population of this study was consumers who visited the clinic to do facial treatment thread lifting. The research sample was taken as many as 34 female consumers aged 30-60 years, who visited the clinic to do facial treatment thread lifting. The research method used was a descriptive quantitative method. Data were collected using a survey method. The survey in this study uses a closed questionnaire to get an overview of the aspects of wants, interests, needs, knowledge. The research instrument used a Likert scale with a range of 1-5 levels. The answers range from very positive (scale 5) to very negative (scale 1). Based on the results of the study showed that the interest of adult women in thread lifting large threads on indicators of need with a percentage of 78.7%. So, it can be concluded that the interest of adult women in thread lifting for facial skin care is in a good category.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Memperoleh kualitas yang terbaik dari Royal icing ekstrak kulit manggis dengan ukuran ditinjau dari mutu sensori. 2) Menganalisis tingkat respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran dekorasi kue pada materi royal icing sebagai pelapis cake menggunakan pewarna alami ekstrak kulit manggis ditinjau dari aspek tampilan, penyajian dan aplikasi, serta minat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboraturium Pastry and Bakery, Program Studi Tata Boga, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Keseluruhan rata-rata terbaik pada royal icing dengan penggunaan pewarna alami ekstrak kulit buah manggis 10% sebesar rata-rata 4,1 dengan kriteria warna pink muda, rasa manis, agak beraroma kulit buah manggis, tekstur agak kering, dan melekat kuat pada cake. Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata respon mahasiswa pada aspek tampilan diperoleh 86,51% dengan kategori Sangat Tinggi. Kemudian aspek penyajian dan aplikasi memperoleh rata-rata respon mahasiswa sebesar 76,86% dengan kategori Tinggi. Dan rata-rata respon mahasiswa pada aspek minat diperoleh 89,9% dengan kategori Sangat Tinggi.]]>

<![CDATA[The characteristic of ESP that puts more emphasis on the ability of students to perform tasks relevant to the world of work requires a learning approach that allows the transfer of authentic activities in the work field to the learning activities in the classroom. Many studies then suggest that Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) approach meets this special trait. The application of this approach, however, still confuses some ESP teachers or lecturers in which they find it difficult to distinguish the terms of “task” in TBLT with tasks in ordinary classes. This descriptive qualitative research then seeks to describe the nature of tasks in TBLT and reveal the lecturers’ knowledge on that approach. The subjects of the research were all of the lecturers teaching ESP classes at State University of Padang (UNP). The data were obtained through a literature study and interviews.
