Abstract

Excessive hair loss will cause baldness. It can will influence someone’s confidence. that is why, hair loss treatment is needed to be done. One of them is by using avocados and VCO. They have good function to stimulate hair growth and make them healthier. This study aims to analyze the effect of avocados and VCO toward hair loss treatment. The research was done by observing the mount of hair loss everyday. this study was conducted with a quasi-experimental method with a quasi exsperiment to explain the influence of using avocados and VCO on the treatment of hair loss. The research subjects were a collection of women who lived in the Parak Laweh area of ​​Lubuk Begalung subdistrict which improved hair loss at the level of 40-100 strands per day. The sample in this study amounted to 12 people used by the technique of taking documentation and interviews. This study consisted of 4 different groups, namely the control group (X0), experimental group 1 (X1), experimental group 2 (X2), and experimental group 3 (X3).The data gathered is primary data. It is directly taken from samples that fill in the research format provided. Data analysis using analysis of variance (anava) and continued with Duncan test, the results of this study show a significant difference in the indicator of the amount of hair detached from the scalp with the number of strands of hair falling after treatment in the control group (X0) (80.50), experimental group 1 (X1) (60.50), experimental group 2 (X2) (58.83) and experimental group 3 (X3) (58.67). So it can be said that for the indicator of the amount of hair loss in the experimental group did not show a statistically significant difference, but there was a significant difference in the treatment of hair loss in the control group. Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of potato flour in food processing is still small. Potato flour has a high enough nutritional value for protein. This study aims to analyze the effect of 50% potato flour substitution on the quality of paint in terms of volume, shape, color, aroma, texture and taste. This type of research is an experiment with three repetitions. To get the results of the study organoleptic tests were carried out by 15 panelists, namely students of the D3 and S1 at culinary department. Organoleptic test results with 3 repetitions showed that the quality of the use of potato starch in the manufacture of paint was volume swell, same and semicircular shape, yellow color, aroma of vanilla and potato starch, porous texture, sweet taste and taste of potato starch.

Abstract

Prias is not only required to enhance the appearance of the face and hair, but also a total appearance complete with supporting appearance that can reinforce one's character. This study aims to determine the results of face painting using manual techniques and airbrush techniques on character makeup and determine the differences in face painting results between manual techniques and airbrush techniques on character makeup. The type of this research is Quasy Experimental. The study population was 45 students with 4 samples. T test test analysis technique. Based on the research results obtained face painting cosmetology using manual techniques that the highest value is found in the aspects of time efficiency and color sharpness of 3.88 has very good criteria and the lowest on flatness with an average of 2.25 good criteria , the results of face painting make-up using airbrush technique flatness aspect average 3.81 on very good criteria, and at an average time efficiency of 3.88 very good criteria, the lowest on color sharpness with an average of 3.44 good criteria and there are differences in the face painting results between the manual technique and the airbrush technique in the aspect of flatness (p <0.05) and there is no difference in the face painting results between the manual technique and the airbrush technique in the aspect of time efficiency. solid or creamy because the results of cosmetics that are applied can be more flat and directly attached.Keywords: face painting, manual techniques, airbrush techniques, clown character makeup

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee work discipline at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang..1.This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with causal methods. The population in this study were all employees at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang. The research sample amounted to 54 employees using.1.the sampling technique is the proportionate stratified random sampling technique..1.Data collection techniques are carried out by using a questionnaire (questionnaire) with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression testing through.1.the help of the SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. the results of the study show: 1) Work Motivation employees at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang are in the good category (74.07%). 2) Employee Discipline is in a very good category (59.26%). 3) R Square 0.155 and a significance value of 0.03 which means that.1.there is a significant effect between work motivation on work discipline of 15.5% while the remaining 84.5% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh penanganan keluhan tamu di newd’Dhave Hotel Padang yang masih cukup tinggi.Tujuan penelitian adalahmendeskripsikan penanganan keluhan tamu yang telah ditangani karyawan di New d’Dhave Hotel Padang. Jenis penelitianadalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah tamu yang pernah menginap di New d’Dhave Hotel Padang dan pernah melakukan keluhan secara langsung kepada pihak hotel pada periode Januari-Juni 2018 yang berjumlah sebanyak 97 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian adalah total sampling.Jenis data yang akan dipergunakan dalam penelitian adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah survei melaui penyebaran angket yang telah diuji validitas & realibilitas.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan analisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Procedural Justice Service dengan nilai rata-rata 3,60 Tingkat Capaian Responden (TCR) sebesar 72,00 %. Menunjukan bahwa Procedural Justice Service dalam kategori Baik.2)Interactional Justicenilai rata-rata 3,54 dengan Tingkat Capaian Responden (TCR) sebesar 70,80%. Menunjukan bahwa Interactional Justicedalam kategori Baikdan 3)Distributive Justicenilai rata-rata 23,57 Tingkat Capaian Responden (TCR) sebesar 71,34 %. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) yang belum menyelesaikan studi sesuai dengan waktu yang telah ditetapkan, hal ini dilihat dari hasil survey prapenelitian yang telah dilakukan penulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi mahasiswa PKK dalam menyelesaikan skripsi ditinjau dari kebutuhan, harapan dan minat. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi 59 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Total Sampling dimana keseluruhan populasi dijadikan sampel. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket/kuesioner, dan analisi data menggunakan SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pencapaian responden ditinjau dari kebutuhan berada pada kategori sangat baik yaitu 90,96%. Tingkat pencapaian responden ditinjau dari harapan berada pada kategori sangat baik yaitu 92,15%. Tingkat pencapaian responden ditinjau dari minat berada pada kategori sangat baik yaitu 91,76%.

Abstract

1This1research originated from the Industrial Field Experience at Daima Hotel Padang. The author found problems, related to employee work performance and lack of work motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation on work performance in Daima Hotel Padang. This1type1of1research1is1quantitative1with a1causal assosiative approach. The population in this study were employees of Daima Hotel Padang. The sample in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 46 people, namely employees who already had work performance assessments. Data analysis techniques using data description and simple linear regression test using the SPSS Computer1Program1version116.00. Research results show that: Work motivation is in the good category (52.17%), Job Performance is in the quite good category (58.69%) and the simple linear regression test results obtained R Square value of 0.118. Meaning that motivation significantly influences work performance employees at 11.8% and 88.2% are influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose this study was to determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance at Bunda Hotel Padang. Type of research quantitative with causal associative approach. The number of samples this study were 31 people who were taken using saturated sampling techniques. This research data uses primary data for work motivation variables with data collection techniques through questionnaires with Likert scales that have been tested for validity and reliability. Employee performance variables use secondary data obtained from HRD Bunda Hotel Padang. Data analysis techniques using simple linear regression test with help of SPSS version 16.00 computer program. Results showed that work motivation was in the sufficient category with percentage of 55%. While employee performance is good category with a percentage of 61% and there is positive and significant effect of work motivation on the performance of employees in Bunda Hotel Padang by 16.2% while 83.8% influenced by other factors. Abstract

Abstract The problem in this research is still a lack of awareness of beauty salon business owners in registering business units in related institutions (Office of Integrated Licensing Service). Still the low supervision of the business sanitation beauty salon seen from various aspects a) the feasibility of building, B) The quality of clean water, c) waste management, c) sewage control and D) hygiene tools and cosmetic materials. This research aims to describe the business sanitation of the beauty salon in the South Coastal district of Painan. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this research is the head and employee of the beauty salon in the south coast of 17 people. Data retrieval techniques are using questionnaires that are adjusted in the form of Likert scales that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques using percentage and categorizing formulas. Based on the known research results of beauty salon sanitation based on building feasibility of good category with an average value of 14.05, clean water feasibility is good with an average value of 20.11, waste management is good with An average value of 26.05, good waste control with an average value of 18.41 and sanitary beauty salons based on the cleanliness of the cosmetic tool well with an average value of 39.70. It is expected for salon owners and employees to pay more attention to and improve the sanitation of beauty Salona business in Painan South Coast district in all aspects, it is expected to create a clean, comfortable and safe environment from Various diseases arising from the business environment. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the implementation of occupational safety and health management systems in the Premier Basko Hotel F&B product department both in terms of the determination of occupational safety and health policies, occupational safety and health planning, implementation of occupational safety and health plans, monitoring and evaluation of safety performance and occupational health, review and improvement of occupational safety and health. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative data, while the method used in this study is the survey method. The data in this study were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews with 6 informants. The conclusion of this research is that the overall implementation of the occupational safety and health management system in Premier Basko Hotel's food and beverage product department is still lacking, as seen in the many things that have not been implemented in the implementation of the occupational health and safety management system, as well as many procedures that are lacking in application.
