Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning implementation plan (RPP) for the independent learning curriculum of college student teacher candidates at Labuhan Batu University, in the microteaching course. The components of making the RPP for the independent learning curriculum consist of 3 components, namely: (1) learning objectives, (2) learning steps, (3) assessment. The data obtained were taken from RPP documents made by student teacher candidates in the microteching course. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, the instrument used was a checklist sheet about the suitability of the RPP components of the independent learning curriculum. The results of the analysis obtained the component of learning objectives with a score of 55.50% based on effectiveness during the learning process. The steps obtained a score of 75.50%, based on the arrangement made from the beginning to the end of the lesson. The last component studied is the assessment, the data obtained is 47.70%.Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) kurikulum merdeka belajar mahasiswa calon guru Universitas Labuhan Batu, pada mata kuliah microteaching. Adapun komponen dari pembuatan RPP kurikulum merdeka belajar terdiri dari 3 komponen yaitu: (1) tujuan pembelajaran, (2) langkah-langkah pembelajaran, (3) penilaian. Perolehan data diambil dari dokumen RPP yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa calon guru pada mata kuliah mikroteching.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, instrumenyang digunakan adalah lembar checklist tentang kesesuain komponen RPP kurikulum merdeka belajar. Hasil analisis diperoleh komponen tujuan pembelajaran dengan skor 55.50% berdasarkan keefektifan selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Langkah-langkah diperoleh skor sebesar 75.50%, berdasarkan susunan yang dibuat dari awal hingga akhir pembelajaran. Komponen terakhir yang diteliti adalah penilaian, diperoleh data sebesar 47.70%.

Abstract

This development research aims to describe the green school module on the scientific performance skills of junior high school students. The stages of development include self-evaluation, expert test, individual test, small group test, field test. The research subjects were five students for the response test and three observers for the green school module implementation test for the scientific performance skills of junior high school students. The type of data is descriptive data, using the instrument implementation of the module and student responses are used for the practicality of the content and the practicality of expectations. Technical data analysis was carried out in accordance with the objectives of the research which included the practicality of the module. The results showed that the module that had been developed was stated to be very practical based on the individual test. This module was stated to be very good with an average of 89.10%. The module is declared practical because the results of student responses with an average value of 88.34% with very good criteria, the results of the implementation of the module with an average value of 88.10% with criteria strongly agree. Based on this, the developed module is very practical to use and makes it easier for students to learn.Abstrak Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan modul sekolah hijau pada keterampilan unjuk kerja ilmiah siswa SMP. Tahapan pengembangan meliputi evaluasi diri, uji ahli, uji individu, uji kelompok kecil, uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah lima siswa untuk tes respon dan tiga orang pengamat untuk tes implementasi modul sekolah hijau untuk keterampilan unjuk kerja ilmiah siswa SMP. Jenis datanya adalah data deskriptif, dengan menggunakan instrumen implementasi modul dan respon siswa digunakan untuk kepraktisan isi dan kepraktisan harapan. Teknis analisis data dilakukan sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian yang meliputi kepraktisan modul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat praktis berdasarkan tes individu. Modul ini dinyatakan sangat baik dengan rata-rata 89,10%. Modul dinyatakan praktis karena hasil respon siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 88,34% dengan kriteria sangat baik, hasil implementasi modul dengan nilai rata-rata 88,10% dengan kriteria sangat setuju. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, modul yang dikembangkan sangat praktis digunakan dan memudahkan siswa untuk belajar.

Abstract

In the 21st century, critical thinking skills are one of the essential abilities that greatly influence the academic and professional success of students. One of the learning resources that can train students' critical thinking skills is a learning resource that contains local potential. One of the learning resources that can be developed based on local potential is popular scientific books that are in accordance with the characteristics of critical thinking skills which are packaged in flipbook form to make it easier for students to access during the current pandemic. Popular scientific books (BIP) with the characteristics of critical thinking skills that were developed to overcome the problems of students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to describe the practicality of popular scientific books on aquatic plants in mangrove habitats in the form of flipbooks on students' critical thinking skills. The practicality data of BIP in the form of a flipbook was obtained from a one to one test to determine student readability using a readability questionnaire, small group test and field test to determine the practicality of expectations and actual practicality using a student response questionnaire and the results of observing the implementation of BIP use using an implementation questionnaire. This study uses a development research design with an EDR model through formative evaluation from Tessmer. Respondents are students who have passed the Plant Botany course program. The data analysis used descriptive categorization technique.Abstrak Di abad 21, keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kemampuan essensial yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap kesuksesan akademik dan professional mahasiswa. Salah satu sumber belajar yang dapat melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa adalah sumber belajar yang memuat potensi lokal. Sumber belajar yang dapat dikembangkan dengan berbasis potensi lokal salah satunya adalah buku ilmiah populer yang sesuai dengan karakteristik keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dikemas dalam bentuk flipbook untuk memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mengakses pada masa pendemi saat ini. Buku ilmiah populer (BIP) dengan karakteristik keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dikembangkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepraktisan buku ilmiah populer tumbuhan air pada habitat mangrove berbentuk flipbook terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Data kepraktisan BIP berbentuk flipbook didapatkan dari uji one to one untuk mengetahui keterbacaan mahasiswa menggunakan angket keterbacaan, uji small group dan uji field test untuk mengetahui kepraktisan harapan dan kepraktisan aktual dengan menggunakan angket respon mahasiswa dan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan penggunaan BIP menggunakan angket keterlaksanaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pengembangan dengan model EDR melalui evaluasi formatif dari Tessmer. Responden merupakan mahasiswa yang sudah lulus program mata kuliah Botani Tumbuhan. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kategorisasi.

Abstract

This development research has the aim of describing the practicality of the popular scientific book on ethnobotany Myrtaceae Forest Areas with Special Purposes (KHDTK) ULM which is an education and training forest under the institution of Lambung Mangkurat University. This popular scientific book (BIP) was developed through Tessmer's Formative Evaluation, while the stages carried out were conducting a self-evaluation, followed by expert validation, student readability test (one-to-one evaluation), Small Group Test, and Field Test. The results of the practicality test of the contents of the one-to-one evaluation get an average value of 95.51% with very good criteria. Based on the results of the implementation test, the expectation was to get a percentage of 88.89% and the actual 92.22% was expected with very good criteria. the students' s response was expected to get a percentage of 96.80% and the actual 97.40% with very practical criteria. Based on the results of the research developed, it can be stated that the Popular Scientific Books (BIP) developed can be used in improving students' critical thinking skills because the scientific books developed have very practical criteria.Abstrak Penelitian pengembangan ini memiliki tujuan mendeskripsikan kepraktisan buku ilmiah populer etnobotani Myrtaceae Kawasan Hutan Dengan Tujuan Khusus (KHDTK) ULM yang merupakan hutan pendidikan dan pelatihan yang ada di bawah lembaga Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Buku ilmiah populer (BIP) ini dikembangkan melalui Evaluasi Formatif Tessmer, adapun tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan evaluasi diri, dilanjutkan dengan validasi ahli, Uji keterbacaan mahasiswa (one-to-one evaluation), Uji Small Group, dan uji Field Test. Hasil penelitian uji kepraktisan isi pada uji one-to-one evaluation mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 95,51% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji keterlaksanaan harapan mendapatkan presentase 88,89% dan aktual 92,22% harapan dengan kriteria sangat baik. Respon mahasiswa harapan mendapatkan presentase 96,80% dan aktual 97,40% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dikembangkan maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa Buku Ilmiah Populer (BIP) yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa karena buku ilmiah yang dikembangkan mendapatkan kriteria sangat praktis.

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the field of education has resulted in a decrease in interest in studying biology students and a lack of concern for the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the potential of a blended learning model based on green education for biology students at the Hindu University of Indonesia. The research method of systematic literature review uses 20 reputable journals and 24 supporting journals. The study was conducted for two months. A human instrument is used in this research in collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling. Data analysis using meta-synthesis. The results of the meta-synthesis of the potential of blended learning in universities are based on research objectives: 50% to test the effect or effectiveness; 30% of research methods use R&D (Research & Development); 30% of data collection techniques use tests and questionnaires, and 30% of data analysis uses analysis descriptive. The potential implementation of the green education-based blended learning model has three main criteria and pillars, namely: 1) flexibility and ease of accessibility; 2) Alignment, enhancement, and enhancement of environmental quality; and 3) increasing student independence in the learning process. The green education-based blended learning model can be applied because it helps train students' skills in developing problem-based science, improving critical thinking skills, analyzing problems and making decisions quickly and objectively in providing solutions to problems in the surrounding environment.Abstrak Dampak pandemi COVID-19  di bidang pendidikan mengakibatkan penurunan minat belajar mahasiswa biologi serta kurangnya kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi model blanded learning berbasis green education pada mahasiswa biologi  Universitas Hindu Indonesia. Metode penelitian Systematic Literature Review menggunakan 20 jurnal bereputasi dan 24 jurnal pendukung. Penelitian dilakukan selama 2 bulan.  Human Instrument digunakan dalam penelitian ini dalam mengumpulkan, mengkaji dan menganalisis data. Penentuan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan meta-sintesis. Hasil meta-sintesis potensi blended learning di perguruan tinggi berdasarkan tujuan penelitian, 50% untuk menguji pengaruh atau efektivitas, metode penelitian 30% menggunakan R&D (Research & Development), teknik pengumpulan data 30% menggunakan tes dan angket dan analisis data 30% menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Potensi implementasi model blended learning berbasis green education memiliki tiga kriteria dan pilar utama, yakni: 1) Fleksibilitas dan kemudahan aksesibilitas 2) Penyelarasan, perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan, dan 3) meningkatkan kemandirian peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Model blended learning berbasis green education berpotensi diterapkan karena bermanfaat untuk melatih keterampilan peserta didik dalam mengembangkan sains berbasis masalah, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, menganalisis masalah dan mengambil keputusan secara cepat dan objektif dalam memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan di lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the fundamental competencies needed by humans in the 21st century to produce quality human resources which can be seen in the implementation of the Tri Dharma Higher Education activities, it is necessary to develop learning resources that can direct students to improve and bring up knowledge, attitudes and critical thinking skills. One of the learning resources that can train students' critical thinking skills is a learning resource in the form of popular scientific books based on local potential which is presented and described in simple sentences, looks attractive and easy to understand and in accordance with the characteristics of critical thinking skills to facilitate students in the learning process. This study aims to describe the practicality of the popular scientific book Cyperaceae in the Mangrove area of Sungai Bakau Village on students' critical thinking skills. Data on the practicality of BIP were obtained from individual tests to determine student readability using a readability questionnaire, small test and field test to determine the practicality of expectations and actual practicality using student response questionnaires and observations on the implementation of BIP use using an implementation questionnaire. Research respondents are students who have passed the Higher Plant Botany course with research design development through formative evaluation from Tessmer.Abstrak Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kompetensi fundamental yang diperlukan manusia di abad 21 untuk menghasilkan SDM yang berkualitas yang terlihat dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi maka perlu adanya pengembangan sumber belajar yang dapat mengarahkan mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan dan memunculkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat kritis. Salah satu sumber belajar yang dapat melatihakn keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa adalah sumber belajar berupa buku ilmiah populer berbasis potensi lokal yang disajikan dan dijabarkan dengan kalimat sederhana,tampilan menarik dan mudah dipahami serta sesuai dengan karakteristik keterampilan berpikir kritis untuk memudahkan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepraktisan buku ilmihah populer Cyperaceae di daerah Mangrove Desa Sungai Bakau terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Data kepraktisan BIP diperoleh dai uji perorangan untuk mengetahui keterbacaan mahasiswa menggunakan angket keterbacaan, uji kecil dan uji lapangan untuk mengethaui kepraktisan harapan dan kepraktisan aktual menggunakan angket respon mahasiswa dan observasi terhadap keterlaksanan penggunaan BIP menggunakan angket keterlaksanaan. Responden penelitian merupakan mahasiswa yang telah lulus mata kuliah Botani Tumbuhan Tinggi dengan desain penelitian pengembangan melalui evaluasi formatif dari Tessmer.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the obstacles that biology education students at Labuhanbatu University face when implementing online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employs a descriptive method in conjunction with a qualitative approach. The approach taken is one of survey. This study collected data using data trigulation techniques. The respondents were 92 students enrolled in the Labuhanbatu University biology education study program throughout the academic years 2018/2019; 2019/2020; and 2020/2021. The online learning process is implemented in the following indocators: readiness and implementation in online learning is 87.21%, (physical, psychological) health in online learning is 76.59%, the obstacles faced by the students during online learning process is 72.06%, internet access facilities (quotas) and learning tools in online learning is 79.89%, lecturer services and delivery of materials in online learning is 77.60%, motivation and comprehension of course material development in online learning is 68.76%. Learning motivation and understanding obstacles encountered by biology education students throughout the implementation process might render online learning ineffective, resulting in this research is planned to serve as a benchmark for future improvements in the process of integrating online learning.Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hambatan apa saja yang dihadapi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi Universitas Labuhanbatu dalam pelaksaanaan proses pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik trigulasi data,Responden adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi Universitas Labuhanbatu angkatan tahun akademik 2018/2019: 2019/2020;2020/2021,dengan jumlah total sebanyak 92 orang.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa hambatan mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran daring diantaranya yaitu :Kesiapan dan pelaksanaan dalam pembelajara daring 87,21%, Kesehatan (fisik,psikis) dalam pembelajaran daring 76,59%, Hambatan yang dialami mahasiswa selama proses pembelajaran daring 72,06%,  Fasilitas akses internet (kuota) dan perangkat pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran daring 79,89%, Pelayanan dosen dan penyampaian materi dalam pembelajaran daring 77,60%, Motivasi pembelajaran dan memahami materi perkuliahan dalam pembelajaran daring 68,76%, Hamabatan yang dialami oleh para mahasiswa pendidikan biologi dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran daring akan membuat pembelajaran daring menjadi tidak maksimal, sehingga penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi evaluasi sebagai acuan perbaikan  didalam  proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring menjadi baik kedepannya.

Abstract

Lack of critical thinking skills of students is one of the problems in education. One of the learning tools that need to be improved in order to improve critical thinking skills is the Student Worksheet (LKPD). This study aims to describe the validity of LKPD on the concept of a Coordination System Based on Critical Thinking Skills. This method uses a type of research, namely EDR (Educational Design Research) with reference to Tessmer's formative evaluation which consists of two stages, namely 1) Self-evaluation; and 2) Expert review. The Critical Thinking Skills used in this study refer to Facione. The subject of validation was two experts, namely lecturers. This type of research is a development research to produce a valid product. The results of this study indicate that the validity of LKPD based on expert tests has a valid category with an overall average of 3.41.Abstrak Kurangnya keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik  didik merupakan salah satu permasalahan dalam pendidikan. Salah satu perangkat pembelajaran yang perlu diperbaiki agar meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis ialah Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas LKPD pada konsep Sistem Koordinasi Berbasis Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis. Metode ini menggunakan jenis penelitian yaitu EDR (Educational Design Research) dengan mengacu pada evaluasi formatif Tessmer yang terdiri dari dua tahapan yaitu 1) evaluasi diri; dan 2) pendapat ahli. Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada  Facione. Subjek validasi adalah dua orang ahli yaitu dosen. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan untuk menghasilkan produk yang valid. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa validitas LKPD berdasarkan uji pakar memiliki kategori valid dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 3,41.

Abstract

Practical activity is an integral part of science learning process, including biology. However, during distance learning in the era of COVID-19 pandemic, biology practical activities are often not carried out due to a number of obstacles. This study aims to explain the various obstacles or problems experienced by teachers when conducting biology practical activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data of this study were collected by distributing questionnaires to 54 teachers who teach natural sciences in Junior High Schools and biology in Senior High Schools in West Java Province with different lengths of teaching experience. The results showed that the teachers experienced several problems, such as limited allocation of learning time during distance learning, the difficulty of designing practical activities that could be carried out independently by students at home, and the difficulty of finding alternative tools and materials at students' homes. To overcome these obstacles, the teachers has made various efforts and the most chosen were asking students to watch videos of practical activities or simplifying the practical activities so that they can be carried out independently by students at home.Abstrak Kegiatan praktikum adalah bagian tak terpisahkan dari proses pembelajaran sains, termasuk biologi. Namun selama Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) di era pandemi COVID-19, kegiatan praktikum biologi seringkali tidak dilaksanakan karena adanya sejumlah kendala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap berbagai kendala atau permasalahan yang dialami oleh para guru saat melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum biologi selama pandemi COVID-19. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada 54 orang guru yang mengajar IPA Terpadu di SMP dan biologi di SMA di Provinsi Jawa Barat dengan lama pengalaman mengajar yang berbeda-beda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para guru mengalami kendala berupa keterbatasan alokasi waktu pembelajaran yang tersedia selama PJJ, sulitnya merancang kegiatan praktikum yang dapat dikerjakan secara mandiri oleh peserta didik di rumah, dan sulitnya menemukan alat dan bahan praktikum alternatif yang mudah ditemukan di lingkungan sekitar rumah peserta didik. Untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut, para guru telah melakukan beragam upaya dan upaya yang paling sering dilakukan adalah meminta peserta didik untuk menonton video kegiatan praktikum dan menyederhanakan kegiatan praktikum agar dapat dilaksanakan secara individu di rumah masing-masing peserta didik.

Abstract

Cultural heritage in an area that is unique is one step in preserving it so that it can be used as a source of learning based on local potential in contextual learning developed in popular scientific book teaching materials. This development research entitled "Ethnobotany of Moraceae Plants Case Study at KHDTK ULM" aims to examine the practicality of the contents of the BIP, the practicality of expectations and the actual of BIP. The method in developing this research is to lead to formative evaluation by Tessmer. The results of the research on the readability test got very good criteria with an average value of 94.23%, in addition, the results of the BIP implementation test with an average value of 95.18% so that it can be grouped into very good criteria and the results of student responses show the average score BIP is 96.15% so it can be grouped into very practical criteria. This shows that a popular scientific book with the title "Plant Ethnobotany Moraceae case study at KHDTK ULM" is very practical to use and attracts students' reading interest in Ethnobotany learning.Abstrak Warisan budaya pada suatu daerah yang bersifat khas yaitu salah satu langkah dalam melestarikannya sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar berbasis potensi lokal dalam pembelajaran kontekstual yang dikembangkan dalam bahan ajar buku ilmiah populer. Penelitian pengembangan ini berjudul “Etnobotani Tumbuhan Moraceae Studi kasus di KHDTK ULM” memiliki tujuan untuk menguji kepraktisan isi BIP, kepraktisan harapan dan aktual BIP. Metode dalam pengembangan penelitian ini yaitu menggarah pada evaluasi formatif oleh Tessmer. Hasil penelitian pada uji keterbacaan mendapatkan kriteria sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 94,23%, selain itu, hasil uji keterlaksanaan BIP dengan nilai rata-rata 95.18% sehingga dapat dikelompokan dalam kriteria sangat baik dan hasil respon mahasiswa menunjukan hasil nilai rata-rata BIP yaitu 96,15% sehingga dapat dikelompokan dalam kriteria sangat praktis. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa buku ilmiah populer dengan judul “Etnobotani Tumbuhan Moraceae studi kasus di KHDTK ULM” sangat praktis digunakan dan menarik minat baca mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Etnobotani.
