Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektivan perangkat pembelajaran hasil pengembangan konsep jamur terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik MAN. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, dan diujicobakan pada peserta didik kelas X MIA 4 MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin. Rancangan uji coba perangkat pembelajaran melalui tahap validasi ahli, uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji lapangan. Data kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh dari pendapat pakar dianalisis berdasarkan skor validasi pakar, dan uji perorangan peserta didik menggunakan lembar penilaian bahan ajar dan LKPD dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kepraktisan diperoleh dari keterlaksanaan RPP dan respon peserta didik. Data keefektivan diperoleh dari 1) hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik sudah mencapai KKM dengan kategori baik, 2) penilaian keterampilan proses tergolong kategori sangat baik, 3) penilaian kinerja psikomotor tergolong kategori sangat baik, 4) penilaian sikap spiritual (rasa syukur) tergolong kategori sangat baik, 5) penilaian perilaku berkarakter (disiplin, dan tanggung jawab) tergolong kategori baik, 6) penilaian keterampilan sosial tergolong kategori baik, 7) keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik tergolong kategori baik, 8) aktivitas peserta didik tergolong kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum learning process includes three domains, namely affective (attitude), cognitive (knowledge), and psychomotor (skills). This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective Student Worksheet. The research method used is the Tessmer design, which consists of (1) Expert review; (2) one-to-one; (3) small group. Validation subjects were three experts, individual subjects were three students in class X in high school and small group test subjects were six students in class X in high school. The results showed that: (1) the validity of LKPD based on expert testing had a valid category with an overall average of 3.59; (2) the practicality of the contents of LKPD has a good category with an overall average of 3.70 and the practicality of the LKPD's expectations based on the responses of students has a very good category with an overall average of 88.70%; and (3) the effectiveness of LKPD based on the assessment of students' critical thinking skills in working on LKPD has both categories (including interpretation) and very good categories (includes analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation). Interpersonal skills (collaborating) of students have a very good category with a score of 86.33% and intrapersonal skills (conscientious) students have a very good category with a score of 88.33%.AbstrakProses pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 mencakup tiga ranah, yaitu afektif (sikap), kognitif (pengetahuan) dan psikomotor (keterampilan). Penelitian iniobertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu desain Tessmer, yang terdiri atas 1) Expert review; 2) one-to-one; 3) small group. Subjek validasi adalah 3 orang ahli, subjek perorangan adalah 3 orang peserta didik kelas X jenjang SMA dan subjek uji kelompok kecil adalah 6 orang peserta didik kelas X jenjang SMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) validitas LKPD berdasarkan uji pakar memiliki kategori valid dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 3,59; 2) kepraktisan isi LKPD memiliki kategori baik dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 3,70 dan kepraktisan harapan LKPD berdasarkan respon peserta didik memiliki kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 88,70%; dan 3) keefektifan LKPD berdasarkan penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam mengerjakan LKPD memiliki kategori baik (meliputi interpretasi) dan kategori sangat baik (meliputi analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, eksplanasi dan pengaturan diri). Keterampilan interpersonal (bekerjasama) peserta didik memiliki kategori sangat baik dengan skor 86,33% dan keterampilan intrapersonal (teliti) peserta didik memiliki kategori sangat baik dengan skor 88,33%.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the skills that must be developed in the world of education. Students' critical thinking can be improved by optimizing learning, one of which is developing textbooks in the form of popular scientific books. Learning resources can be developed by utilizing the environment around students or locally based. The environment is a very rich source of learning following the demands of the curriculum. In this research, a popular scientific book on the diversity of ferns in the Haratai Loksado waterfall was developed. This study aims to develop popular scientific books based on the local potential to test the effectiveness of popular scientific books in improving students' critical thinking skills. This research is a research development research with formative evaluation using the Tessmer design. The effectiveness was tested at MAN 1 HSS with data on the effectiveness of popular scientific books seen from the average results of evaluation scores and practical results before and after being given popular scientific books. The results of the improvement in critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes were classified as high, namely at the third meeting with the acquisition of 93%. The increase occurred at each meeting as evidenced by the N-gain from the 1st to 3rd meeting with the high category with a value of 0.8.Abstrak Berpikir kritis adalah salah satu keterampilan yang harus dikembangkan oleh pendidikan. Berpikir kritis siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan mengoptimalkan pembelajaran, salah satunya mengembangkan buku teks berupa buku ilmiah populer. Sumber belajar dapat dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar atau lokal siswa. Menurut persyaratan kursus, lingkungan merupakan sumber belajar yang sangat kaya. Dalam penelitian ini, dikembangkan buku ilmiah populer tentang keanekaragaman paku di kawasan air Terjun Haratai Loksado. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ilmiah populer berbasis potensi lokal untuk menguji keefektifan buku ilmiah populer dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Kajian ini merupakan kajian penelitian dan pengembangan evaluasi formatif yang dirancang oleh Tessmer. Uji validitas dilakukan pada MAN 1 HSS yang menggunakan data validitas buku ilmiah populer, data diperoleh dari nilai evaluasi sebelum dan sesudah memperoleh buku ilmiah populer serta rata-rata hasil magang. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa tergolong tinggi, yaitu 93% pembelajaran diperoleh pada pertemuan ketiga. N gain (kategori 0.8) dari pertemuan ke-1 sampai ke-3 mengalami peningkatan di setiap pertemuan yang merupakan hasil dari kenaikan tersebut.

Abstract

The introduction of the potential of coastal biology as a local treasure is important for the general public and students. This study aims to describe the critical thinking skills of high school students through the development of a popular book on coastal biology. This study focuses on small group testing of the Tessmer development research design. The popular book on coastal biology was implemented at Abdul Kadir High School Penyipatan District Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The research subjects were three students of grade XII. Critical thinking skills are divided into several aspects according to Facione. The instrument used is student worksheet based on popular books on coastal biology. Data is calculated based on weight, then expressed as percent (%) according to the terms of 76-100% (very good), 51-75% (good), 26-50% (quite), <25% (less). The results showed that five aspects of students' critical thinking skills including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, and self-regulation were in good category, and the skills of doing analysis had increased. On the other hand, the skill of explaining has not shown any improvement.Abstrak Pengenalan potensi biologi pesisir sebagai kekayaan lokal penting bagi masyarakat umum dan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeSkripsikan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA melalui pengembangan buku popular biologi pesisir. Penelitian ini fokus pada uji kelompok kecil dari desain penelitian pengembangan Tessmer. Buku populer biologi pesisir diimplementasikan di SMA Abdul Kadir Kecamatan Penyipatan Kabupaten Tanah Laut, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Subjek penelitian adalah tiga orang siswa kelas XII. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dibagi dalam beberapa aspek menurut Facione. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa LKPD berdasarkan buku popular biologi pesisir. Data dihitung berdasarkan bobot, kemudian dinyatakan dengan persen (%) sesuai dengan ketentuan 76-100% (baik sekali), 51-75% (baik), 26-50% (cukup), <25% (kurang). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lima aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa meliputi interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, dan pengaturan diri memperoleh kategori baik, dan keterampilan melakukan analisis mengalami peningkatan. Sebaliknya, keterampilan melakukan eksplanasi belum menunjukkan perbaikan.

Abstract

Moral is the ability to understand values in a society concerning good or bad, right or wrong things, and what should or should not be done by an individual in a society. Moral development of adolescence is a time when teenagers are already more mature and knowledgeable about moral values and the concepts of morality than children. Problem solving can engage students in solving problems systematically to deal with the problem associated with the existing life in the community and surrounding environment. Problems of tidal agriculture were chosen to be the case, so that we can get the moral dilemmas and characteristics of the stages of moral development of students through problem solving. This research is aimed at describing (1) moral development stage of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Gambut concerning issues of tidal agriculture in Kabupaten Banjar through valid and reliable problem solving, (2) the characteristics of moral development stages of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Gambut concerning issues of tidal agriculture in Kabupaten Banjar through valid and reliable problem solving. The method used qualitative approach and descriptive type. The instruments of the research were in the form of initial tests of moral development using Defining Issues Test (DIT), written assignments, and interviews. The samples of the research were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gambut, Kabupaten Banjar. The results of this research showed that moral development stages of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Gambut concerning the issues of tidal agriculture in Kabupaten Banjar through problem solving were in stages 2, 3 and 4. The characteristics of the moral development stages of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Gambut concerning the issues of tidal agriculture in Kabupaten Banjar through problem solving were the characteristics of stage 2 (self-interest), the characteristics of stage 3 (environmental expectations), and the characteristics of stage 4 (understanding social rules).

Abstract

The use of instructional media, especially visual media, is very influential in student learning and learning outcomes. The teacher can develop visual learning media so that students can learn well fun and attract learning interest. Experts say that approximately 90% of one's learning outcomes are obtained through vision, 5% from hearing, and 5% from other senses. Development research aims to produce a valid leaflet-based learning media so that it is fit for use by students. This type of research was adapted from Tessmer's design, through the preparation stage (preliminary) and formative evaluation (formative evaluation) with stages only to self-evaluation, and expert testing. The expert opinion includes 3 validators according to expertise. Data was obtained from research instruments in the form of content/material validity evaluation sheets, and construct validity. Data collection techniques using assessment sheets. Analysis of data validity based on the Akbar category (2013). Based on the research results of the first meeting leaflet, the content validity value was 92.05%, and the construct validity was 98.61%. The second meeting leaflet obtained content validity value 92.65%, and construct validity 97.45%. So it was concluded that the learning media of the development leaflet was categorized as very valid.AbstrakPenggunaan media pembelajaran terutama media visual sangat berpengaruh pada pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Guru dapat mengembangkan media pembelajaran visual agar siswa dapat belajar dengan baik menyenangkan dan menarik minat belajar. Para ahli menyebutkan bahwa kurang lebih 90% hasil belajar seseorang diperoleh melalui penglihatan, 5% dari pendengaran, dan 5% lagi dari indra lainnya. Penelitian pengembangan bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis leaflet yang valid sehingga layak digunakan oleh peserta didik. Jenis penelitian diadaptasi dari desain Tessmer, melalui tahap persiapan (preliminary) dan evaluasi formatif (formative evaluation) dengan tahapan hanya sampai evaluasi diri, dan uji pakar. Pendapat pakar meliputi 3 validator sesuai keahlian. Data diperoleh dari instrumen penelitian berupa lembar penilaian validitas isi/materi, dan validitas konstruk. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar penilaian. Analisis data validitas berdasarkan kategori Akbar (2013). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian leaflet pertemuan pertama memperoleh nilai validitas isi/materi 92,05%, dan validitas konstruk 98,61%. Leaflet pertemuan kedua memperoleh nilai validitas isi/materi 92,65%, dan validitas konstruk 97,45%. Sehingga disimpulkan media pembelajaran leaflet hasil pengembangan masuk kategori sangat valid.

Abstract

The teaching materials need to see the reader's ability for how to understand the intent, to know the feasibility, and also for improvement practical content. This study wants to describe the contents practicality of popular scientific book on the ethnobotany’s Gliricidia maculata as supporting material for ethnobotany courses in biology education, FKIP ULM Banjarmasin. Ethnobotany popular scientific book refers to Tessmer Formative Evaluation with the steps on content practicality using individual tests (one to one) and also the content practicality assessment instrument too. The research subjects were 3 students of Biology Education FKIP ULM Banjarmasin who had passed the ethnobotany course and for the average result has 3.6 with very good criteria. Teaching materials that accordance with student characteristics allow more contextual learning experience, complete learning experience, developed according to the student conditions and implementation based on indicator as guidance.Abstrak Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan perlu melihat kemampuan pembaca dalam memahami maksud yang ingin disampaikan, mengetahui keterlaksanaan dan kemudahan penggunaan bahan ajar untuk penyempurnaan melalui suatu kepraktisan isi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepraktisan isi buku ilmiah populer etnobotani tumbuhan Gliricidia maculata sebagai materi penunjang mata kuliah etnobotani di pendidikan biologi FKIP ULM Banjarmasin. Buku ilmiah populer etnobotani sebagai bahan ajar dikembangkan melalui Evaluasi Formatif Tessmer dengan tahap yang dilakukan pada kepraktisan isi menggunakan uji perorangan (one to one) serta instrumen penilaian kepraktisan isi juga mengacu pada Tessmer. Subjek penelitian merupakan 3 orang mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi FKIP ULM Banjarmasin yang dinyatakan telah lulus mata kuliah etnobotani. Hasil rata-rata kepraktisan isi buku ilmiah populer memiliki nilai 3,6 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kondisi mahasiswa dapat membuat pengalaman belajar yang semakin kontekstual, pengalaman belajar yang utuh, serta dikembangkan sesuai kebutuhan mahasiswa dan keterlaksanaan ditentukan berdasarkan indikator yang dijadikan pedoman.

Abstract

Learning using popular scientific books based on the local potential of an area is one solution that can be used to overcome students' lack of reading interest in learning due to limited learning resources in the Pteridophyta concept. This study aims to describe the practicality of a popular scientific book Diversity of the Tabanio Coastal Forest Pteridophyta. The method used is development research with the Tessmer formative test. The results showed that popular scientific books that have been developed obtained student responses with an average of 94.3% with very good criteria and the results of implementing the use of popular scientific books with an average of 92.6% with very good criteria. This shows that a popular scientific book Diversity of Tabanio Coastal Forest Pteridophyta is very practical to be used as an enrichment material in learning Low Plant Botany.Abstrak Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan buku ilmiah populer (BIP) berdasarkan potensi lokal yang dimiliki sebuah daerah merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi kurangnya minat membaca mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran karena keterbatasan sumber belajar pada konsep Pteridophyta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepraktisan buku ilmiah populer Keanekaragaman Pteridophyta Hutan Pantai Tabanio. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan uji formatif Tessmer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan buku ilmiah populer yang telah dikembangkan memperoleh hasil respons mahasiswa dengan rata-rata sebesar 94,3% dengan kriteria sangat setuju dan hasil keterlaksanaan penggunaan buku ilmiah populer dengan rata-rata sebesar 92,6% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa buku ilmiah populer Keanekaragaman Pteridophyta Hutan Pantai Tabanio sangat praktis digunakan sebagai bahan pengayaan dalam pembelajaran Botani Tumbuhan Rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kepraktisan Handout struktur populasi tumbuhan rawa dalam meningkatkan ketrampilan berfikir kritis mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah EDR melalui uji formatif Tessmer dengan subjek penelitian 30 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin. Data kepraktisan meliputi kepraktisan isi, respon mahasiswa. Data penelitian dianalisa secara diskriptif  berdasarkan katagori. Hasil penelitian terhadap respon mahasiswa dan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan Handout menunjukkan bahwa Handout yang dikembangkan sangat praktis digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam mempelajari mata kuliah Ekologi Tumbuhan pada konsep populasi.

Abstract

The wetland learning system is still conventional and lecturer-centered so that students are not accustomed to doing problem solving activities that have an impact on the lack of students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to develop multimedia learning of problem solving based peat swamp forest concepts to determine the validity of multimedia to train students' critical thinking skills. The stages carried out following the ADDIE instructional design flow include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques used a validation sheet instrument for two material experts from Lambung Mangkurat University and one multimedia expert from Politeknik Hasnur. Readability test was conducted on three active students who had taken a course to introduce the wetland environment in FMIPA ULM. The results showed that the multimedia learning concept of problem solving peat swamp forest to train critical thinking skills of chemistry students of FMIPA ULM Banjarbaru is very valid.AbstrakSistem pembelajaran lahan basah masih bersifat konvensional dan berpusat pada dosen sehingga mahasiswa tidak terbiasa melakukan kegiatan pemecahan masalah yang berdampak pada kurangnya keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan  multimedia pembelajaran konsep hutan rawa gambut berbasis problem solving untuk mengetahui bagaimana validitas multimedia untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Tahapan yang dilakukan mengikuti alur desain instruksional ADDIE meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi terhadap dua ahli materi dari Universitas Lambung Mangkurat dan satu ahli multimedia dari Politeknik Hasnur. Uji keterbacaan dilakukan terhadap tiga mahasiswa aktif yang pernah mengambil mata kuliah pengenalan lingkungan lahan basah di FMIPA ULM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran konsep hutan rawa gambut berbasis problem solving untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa kimia FMIPA ULM Banjarbaru sangat valid.
