Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions through the application of the course review horay cooperative learning model with the problem posing method. The course review horay model of the problem posing method is a model that can enable students to search and find answers to a problem and the learning process also becomes more interesting. This research is classroom action research (CAR) which is conducted in 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were all students of class X MIPA 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon, which consisted of 28 students consisting of 18 female students and 10 male students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and tests. Cycle I, the percentage of students' mastery classically is 78.57%. Cycle II the percentage of classical completeness to 100%. There was an increase in individual learning outcomes, with 22 students who finished studying in the first cycle to 28 students who finished learning in the second cycle. The results showed that the course review horay learning model with the problem posing method on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions improved student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of the use of project task-based discovery learning models on student learning outcomes in the subject of energy. This research was conducted on students of SMP Negeri 2 Tondano with a total of 23 students in each class. Class VII F uses the discovery learning model with project assignments and class VII G uses the discovery learning model without project assignments. The method used in this research is experimental research. The research design used was a posttest-only control design. In this design there are two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class is the class that is given treatment using the project task-based discovery learning model and the control class is the class that is given treatment using the discovery learning model without project assignments. The results showed that there was an effect of the use of project assignment-based discovery learning models on student learning outcomes in energy material at SMP Negeri 2 Tondano. The learning outcomes of students in class VII F who were taught using the project task-based discovery learning model were higher than those in class VII G who were taught using the discovery learning model without project assignments.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model on Thermochemical Materials Through Online Learning at Dumoga Christian High School. This research was conducted in class XI Science at SMA Kristen Dumoga in the academic year 2021/2022. A total of 20 students of class XI IPA 1 were assigned as research samples. Based on the test data of the t-test hypothesis, the tcount value is 24,090 with a ttable value of 2,024. And the significant level used is = 0.05 with degrees of freedom n1 + n2 -2 (20+20-2) = 38. By looking at the values of tcount and ttable, we get tcount > ttable, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the increase test (N-gain) obtained 0.77 with high criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the online learning project based learning model on thermochemistry learning outcomes in Dumoga Christian High School.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom Learning Model Assisted by Google Classroom on the Learning Outcomes of Class X Students of SMK Negeri 1 Biaro. This research was conducted in class X Fisheries at SMK Negeri 1 Biaro in the 2022/2023 academic year. A total of 22 students of Class X Fisheries were selected as the research sample. Based on the N-Gain test and obtained results with an average value of 0.739 which is included in the high criteria and the N-Gain score of 73.9% is included in the criteria of being quite effective. Thus it can be concluded that the Flipped Classroom Learning Model Assisted by Google Classroom effectively influences the Learning Outcomes of Class X Students of SMK Negeri 1 Biaro.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran ICARE dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan cara konvensional pada materi hidrokarbon kelas XI MIA di SMA Negeri 1 Tombatu serta efektvitas model pembelajaran ICARE dan pembelajaran konvesional. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan Quasi Experimental Design yaitu pretest-posttest control group design, yang merupakan penelitian menggunakan dua kelompok, yang satunya kelompok eksperimen sedangkan yang lainnya kelompok kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas XI MIA SMA N 1 Tombatu dan sampel terdiri dari 2 kelas, yaitu kelas XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol masing-masing berjumlah 18 orang. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil analisis uji-t dengan sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Melalui uji efektivitas (N-Gain) didapat 63% model pembelajaran ICARE masuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Dengan demikian terdapat perbedaan Model Pembelajaran ICARE dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada Hasil Belajar Kimia Siswa materi Hidrokarbon kelas XI MIA di SMA Negeri 1 Tombatu serta model pembelajaran ICARE cukup efektif dalam pembelajaran kimia materi hidrokarbon dan pembelajaran konvensional tidak efektif.

Abstract

A B S T R A C TThis study aims to determine the effect of the Multiple Intelligence model on chemistry learning outcomes student in colloidal system material. This research was conducted from May to June for the 2021/2022 school year, students of class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. The sampling technique was carried out using random sampling. The samples used in this study were 22 students of class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and 22 students in class XI IPA 2 as the control class. The research design used was the Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Research data on learning outcomes were measured after treatment in the experimental and control classes, then data analysis was carried out using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) to test the formulation of hypotheses with the testing criteria, namely reject Ho if Fcount>Ftable. The research results obtained for learning outcomes are Fcount>Ftable, at the real level α=0.05 and db=42, namely Fcount= 36.378>Ftable=1.671, so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of the Multiple Intelligence model has an effect on chemistry learning outcomes student’s.

Abstract

The Honey-Alonso model consists of 4 LS concepts namely Active Style (AS), Reflective Style (RS), Theoretical Style (TS), and Pragmatic Style (PS). The LS questionnaire consists of 80 statements, each LS has 20 statements. Test the validity of the instrument with SPSS 21 on the Scale – Reliability Analysis menu and the output is shown in the Item – Total Statistics – Corrected Item-Total Correlation table.The results of 58 respondents obtained AS = 9 (45%), TS = 18 (90%), RS = 13 (65%), and PS = 13 (65%) with a consistent reliability coefficient. The assessment is based on the total individual score for each LS and is converted to a z-score using the NORMDIST excel formula. In the range of normal distribution values are identified in 5 categories namely Very Good (VG), Good (G), Enough (E), Less (L), and Very Poor (VP). The results of the assessment are a combination of 17 typical learning styles. There are 41 respondents who have a strong learning style and 17 respondents who have a weak learning style. Learning styles need to be known by students as early as possible so they can improve it. A strong learning style can increase their learning achievement.
