<![CDATA[Angka kelahiran di Indonesia semakin meningkat sehingga kesejahteraan masyarakat rendah. Untuk itu pemerintah mencanangkan program keluarga berencana agar terwujud keluarga berkualitas. Menurut data Badan Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Keluarga Berencana (BPPKB) tahun 2014 bahwa peserta KB AKDR sebanyak 29.292 (7,7%), implant sebanyak 32.383 (8,5%). Data menunjukkan bahwa kontrasepsi metode jangka panjang kurang diminati oleh wanita usia subur. Hal ini terbukti dari prevalensi kontrasepsi suntik yaitu sebanyak 74.024 (20,2%). Hasil wawancara singkat yang dilakukan kepada wanita usia subur di Dusun XVIII Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, menjelaskan bahwa ibu ? ibu tersebut takut sakit, jarak yang jauh untuk mengakses pelayanan kesehatan. Dari hasil pendataan yang dilakukan bahwa masih banyak wanita usia subur yang sudah memiliki > 2 anak akan tetapi enggan untuk dilakukan pemasangan kontrasepsi. Hal ini juga dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan ibu tentang kontrasepsi jangka panjang. Oleh karena itu penting untuk dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan memberikan edukasi tentang kontrasepsi jangka panjang serta pemasangan AKDR dan Implant pada wanita usia subur di Dusun XVIII Kampung KB Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon of right of ownership disputes is a big problem that exists in the civil society of Nagan Raya Regency. Especially in the Rawa Tripa area at Suka Makmur District, another problem is related to the lack of community understanding of peat area protection and land clearing methods which are carried out using burning patterns. Based on observations also found a number of cases of land disputes between civil society and corporations in the Rawa Tripa area. The implementation of this community service is in the form of legal counseling which is carried out face-to-face by delivering material related to the theme of community service. The results and benefits obtained from the implementation of this legal counseling are able to provide understanding and legal awareness to the community related to rights of ownership, duties and functions of the civil society in preserving the environment, as well as education related to the constitutional rights of citizens in the environment and natural resources sector.]]>

<![CDATA[Utilization of IVA screening by mothers in Deli Serdang Regency is not optimal. Constraints encountered were from the mother, such as being reluctant to be examined due to embarrassment, unsure of the importance of the examination, not knowing the importance of early detection of cervical cancer and fear of feeling pain during the examination. Survey in February 2016 of mothers who did IVA tests at the health center were 107 people (0.43%), meaning that only a few mothers checked themselves with IVA tests. The results of a short interview with a number of mothers in Kampung KB Percut Sei Tuan Village, explained that the mother had never done an IVA test, she felt no need to check because she had never experienced complaints, she was afraid and taboo to open or check her genital, they did not know about IVA test, as well as the benefits of the examination. Therefore it is important to do this community service by providing health education about cervical cancer and the importance of IVA examinations for women aged 30-50 years in Kampung KB Percut Sei Tuan Village so that women's understanding increases about IVA examinations which are finally willing to do IVA examinations for detection early cervical cancer.]]>

<![CDATA[Remaja yang sadar dan akan peluang dan tantangan masa depan memerlukan pembelajaran guna mengembangkan fitrah dan potensi dasar yang telah dimiliki agar mereka merasa senang dan bangga atas dirinya sendiri sehingga ia mau belajar dan berlatih bersama teman-teman sebayanya. Dalam perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat, remaja tidak dapat mengelakkan kemajuan perkembangan media sosial. Media sosial menjadi faktor utama untuk mendapatkan informasi terkini, sarana bersosialisasi dan menjalin relasi, bahkan mampu merubah cara pandang seseorang dalam menyikapi sesuatu yang sedang terjadi. Seakan telah manampikkan faktor tatap muka, media sosial yang terfasilitasi oleh internet kini bahkan telah menjadi sarana sosialisasi dan menjalin relasi yang paling massif digunakan oleh para remaja karena dianggap tidak memiliki batasan ruang dan waktu. Namun tentu saja tidak semua remaja sadar akan peluang dan potensi yang ia miliki atas dirinya. Mereka masih memerlukan bimbingan dan arahan dari para orang dewasa guna menemukan role model sebagai acuan pembentukan identitasnya, menumbuhkan kepercayaan dan penerimaan atas dirinya, mengembangkan ketrampilan komunikasi interpersonal dan bergaul dengan teman sebayanya. Pemberian pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai personal branding ini tentunya dapat membantu mereka dalam menyiapkan dan meningkatkan daya saing serta kepekaan terhadap tantangan perkembangan zaman yang mengharuskan mereka untuk mampu mengembangkan kemampuan diri, memiliki gagasan cemerlang dengan metode thinking out of the box, memiliki kemampuan berkomunikasi yang baik dengan memanfaatkan media sosial dan internet secara bijak.]]>

<![CDATA[This service aims to provide information so that farmers can utilize and apply liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable waste (MOL) to rice plants in the village of Cot Darat, Sama Tiga District, West Aceh Regency. The method used to achieve these objectives is through counseling using participatory and on-site practice. The stages of its implementation are through counseling methods in the form of material exposure on vegetable waste MOL, discussion of farmer groups on site, training in processing organic waste into biocomposers together with farmer groups. The results of this service show that the level of knowledge and understanding of technology for processing vegetable waste into organic fertilizer can be absorbed (controlled) by rice farmers. All members of the group consist of various ages ranging from 30 to 50 years. One indicator in determining work productivity in conducting business development is the age level, where the age of farmers who are relatively young is stronger, work smart, easy to accept new innovations.]]>

<![CDATA[This article wants to see how the participation of women in Meureubo sub-district in welcoming the democratic party during the election of legislative candidates in April 2019. As is known, the involvement of women in politics is still very low. The method used is the Lecture method and then discusses with women representatives from several villages in the Meureubo sub-district. The results show that some of them chose women legislative candidates due to various reasons, namely only women who understood about women so that there was a need for women's representation in parliament, women rarely tripped over corruption cases, women were not equal to men. But for those who do not vote for women legislative candidates due to reasons, namely women are not fit to be leaders, the election of women candidates is only for fulfillment of the quota so that party choices are less than optimal, women are less capable of politics. However, in the end they only hoped that the representation of women or men in the legislature could help empower other women, especially from Meurebo sub-district.]]>

<![CDATA[Kurangnya ketrampilan guru dalam memperkuat materi pembelajaran lewat pengembangan bahan ajar terutama dalam materi pendidikan politik, menjadikan banyak siswa yang seakan apatis dengan kondisi politik disekitarnya, selain itu terlalu monotonnya pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru menjadikan siswa gampang merasa bosan dan tidak mempunyai semangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran terutama dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. In the era of development of communication and information technology, one of the media that can increase the ability to titrate is social media. Steemit is a weblog type social media that has been popular since 2017. The aim of this service is to be able to socialize the concept of positive literacy by using the new Steemit social media on Santri Dayah Darul Muta?allimin, West Aceh. Service methods used are lectures and training. The results obtained in this service are strengthening of students with an emphasis on understanding the concept of positive literacy, techniques for registering and using social media Steemit, as well as understanding about building networks and getting rewarded through literacy on Steemit social media.]]>

<![CDATA[The term Gampong means village which is a division of administrative territory in the province of Aceh, Indonesia. Thus, the Village Development Work Plan (RKPG) which is an obligation in the governance of the development of the Village of Gunong Kleng for the sake of community life. This RKPG becomes the obligation of the regional government in guiding the Gampong government apparatus in development management in accordance with applicable regulations. The general objective of this service is to build a good partnership between BAPPEDA and the Gampong government in realizing the regional development strategic plan through a bottom-up approach in sustainable development plans. Specific objectives in this service activity consist of, First; to enhance BAPPEDA and Gampong Government partnerships in Development planning; Secondly, it can realize the village development plan in accordance with the results of the musrenbang; Third, the implementation of development can be controlled through the document form RKPG provisions that have been determined in accordance with applicable regulations. The assistance model in the community service activities for the Gampong community to be able to fulfill the program of this activity can be carried out through 4 (four) stages, namely the FGD on the RKPG and RPJMG provisions, the Socialization of the MURENBANGDES Implementation Mechanism, the implementation of a social control mechanism that is directly imposed by the community in accordance with the RKPG provisions. The results of community service assistance are carried out through a bottom-up development model approach in the RKPG in the village of Gunong Kleng to plan the development of the Gampong in accordance with the Gampong RPJMG that has been set. Implementation of the development can increase community participation, and can increase the value of community trust in the Gampong government in governance. development in a transparent, accountable and sustainable development in Gampong Gunong Kleng, West Aceh.]]>
