Abstract

This activity aims to realize the skills and independence in entrepreneurship for the community in Bulu Lor village, Jambon District, Ponorogo district. Utilizing potential opportunity situations, namely housewives and youth who are human resources in the village by providing briefing in the form of souvenirs to online product marketing assistance. The method in IbM activities is in the form of souvenir making training and mentoring for online marketing. The result of this activity is the improvement of entrepreneurial skills for the community, one way to improve the skills of housewives and youth in making souvenirs and introducing online marketing media. The training in making souvenirs from flannel cloth (key chains, brooches and flower bouquets) was attended by 24 participants. Although none of the participants present had ever made crafts from flannel and online marketing, after this training participants could make souvenirs from flannel (key chains, brooches and flower bouquets) and online marketing by utilizing social media (Facebook and Instagram).

Abstract

Decoupage creativity training assistance and effective marketing techniques through online media (especially social media) are given to street children in the hope of increasing their skills as a provision to find alternative sources of income. This training was provided to the children assisted by the Singgah Taruna Pertiwi House which is located at Pasar Minggu and the Rumah Pertiwi Shelter House on Jl. Bacang, Salihara. The two shelters are the choice because we want to contribute to street children who are built not far from the National University. Decoupage training activities are an option because it is a skill that is easy to learn. In addition to making decoupage training, the participants were also given effective marketing technique training through online media. The consideration is because nowadays online media has become a primary need and is the fastest and most effective and efficient medium for conducting promotions or marketing. In addition, it is cheap because it does not need to pay as much as if promotion through conventional media The first training activity lasted for approximately two months starting from May 26 to July 14, 2018, by producing decoupage works made on cutting board media, pouches of calico cloth and woven fans. The technique given is only at the initial stage, which is just putting tissue on the media. As long as the accuracy, accuracy, and neatness, then the results will look attractive and have a high selling value and aesthetics.

Abstract

Implementation, Community Service Program With the Title "Ibm Assistance Group for Making LKS Based on Metacognition in Elementary School Teachers" begins with a workshop providing material for making worksheets and material on metacognition. This activity involved collaboration with partner schools namely SD Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Batu. In this service the teacher appointed was all teachers ranging from class I teachers to class VI teachers, the principal of Muhammadiyah 5 Elementary School also participated in this activity. For the sake of the creation of this service program, all teachers need to gain reinforcement of concepts and material about making worksheets, learning activities and practice questions that are oriented to metacognition, with the provision of material reinforcement the optimal LKS will be made. Furthermore, the activities carried out were assisted in making LKS. This activity was carried out by the way the dedication team came to partner schools. The dedication team checks the drafts made by the teachers, sees the progress that has been made, and discusses the obstacles faced by the teacher in preparing the LKS. The worksheets produced here are metacognitive-oriented LKS so that all activities in the LKS must reflect LKS-oriented activities starting from their activities and the questions in them. As the end of the series of programs, this service is the gathering of LKS oriented to metacognition. LKS collected is LKS that has been checked by the service team and has been revised by the teachers. Improvement notes are discussed together, with the aim of preparing a follow-up plan.

Abstract

The role of the professional teacher in addition to teaching the teacher also acts as an educator or mentor. Guidance provided should be set forth in guidance and counseling services that accommodate the role of the teacher as a mentor. Important teachers have insights and knowledge related to guidance and counseling. So that assistance is needed regarding guidance and counseling services. The method used in this service is a Workshop on the Role of Elementary Teachers as Counselors, Assistance in problem analysis and preparation of Guidance and Counseling programs, Implementation of Guidance and Counseling program preparation, Reflection and follow-up. The results of this service resulted in the design of a guidance and counseling program that had been made by each class teacher based on an analysis of the conditions of learning and school conditions. The guidance and counseling programs that have been prepared include orientation services, information services, placement services, learning services, individual counseling services, and group guidance services.

Abstract

Many cooperation partners of the provincial government of West Java come from other countries that have different cultures with Indonesian or Sundanese. Language skills in the sphere of diplomacy associated with language politeness are needed here in order to make the goal of negotiation achieved and provide benefits to the people of West Java. Community Service Activities is conducted in public speaking training activities. This research uses a pragmatic approach. The theories used are a Pragmatic theory by Levinson (1983) and Speech situation theory by Leech (1993). This research applies a qualitative descriptive method in the social field especially language, communication, and international relations. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and insight for the staff of the Bureau of Domestic and International Cooperation in West Java and also to improve their communication ability. The implementation of this activity received a positive response from the participants. They feel that this activity is very useful and provide insight and skills to speak more in public. This is very crucial for the lecturer and business agent in the Agency for Cooperatives and Entrepreneurship Training (Balatkop) of West Java Province. In addition, the benefit of conducting this Community Service Activity is useful scientific empowerment for the community as well as the existence of article regarding this activity thus it becomes more extensive.

Abstract

Regional Technical Implementation Units (UPTD) Work Training Centers (BLK) and Regional Revenue Bodies (Bapenda) Disnakertrans Tulungagung Regency is a newly established public organization. As a new public sector, an institution should have maturity in the fields of management and organization that are reflected in measurable work plans, regulations, clear governance, standard operation procedures, and guarantees of quality quality of institutions and graduates who must always be evaluated with appropriate instruments. This program takes one of the above BCS perspectives, namely the internal business perspective; from the perspective of a strategy based on Human Resources (HR). The making of the BSC will be based on the details of the governance that has been determined by the laws and regulations related to the two UPTDs which are then determined by the indicators of the implementation of the work program based on the capacity of the HR they have. The making of the work program indicator is based on the key performance indicator (KPI) theory. The aim of the program and the benefits of this program is to become one of the proofs of good cooperation between the institutions of STKIP PGRI Tulungagung and the Regency Government of Tulungagung Regency especially at the UPTD BLK and Bapenda Disnakertrans; to donate lecturers' knowledge to the public; and to improve the quality of management of government / public sector management in the Tulungagung Regency area. While the benefits generated from this program are the creation of good cooperation between higher education institutions and the government; the creation of management management that refers to relevant scientific theory; the creation of high management management standards in government institutions, especially the BLK UPTD and the Bapenda Disnakertrans Tulungagung district.

Abstract

Indonesia's bamboo potential is currently ranked third after India and China. Bamboo holds enormous opportunities and potential to be utilized in improving the economy. However, the potential of bamboo possessed by this nation has not been utilized optimally, this material is very important because it can be classified into sustainable germplasm, with a note that the use is not excessive and the extraction is right. What happened in Indonesia, bamboo continued to be cut down without any effort to plant and maintain so that the number of bamboo populations continued to decline. Some areas with good potential for bamboo include Gunungkidul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Efforts to increase the value of bamboo also need to be balanced with conservation efforts as an increase in bamboo biodiversity itself. The existence of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) at the end of 2015 is a broader economic and market integration. This indicates open competition for trade in goods, services, investment, capital and workers. From these problems, we create a socio-ecopreneur with the theme "a million bamboos for my Indonesia". This product is made from 100% bamboo material, then innovates on bamboo crafts to become a creative, eco-friendly, sustainable, and originally hand made the industrial product. This product is suitable for use as house accessories, household utilities, and others. This product uses traditional lamination technology (press) and bamboo preservation. we also developed a bamboo business management model that is beneficial for the economic resilience of local communities, especially for communities in Hargomulyo Village and at the same time beneficial to environmental biodiversity. Using a global interconnection ethnographic approach where we and the community are fully involved in the activity process starting from assessment, planning, implementation (action), until monitoring-evaluation.

Abstract

Community partnership program in Tanjung Selamat Village, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra is motivated by the economic life of some housewives which are in the middle to lower class of economic life. The purpose of this training is to help the problems from the partnership through improving the economic life and family standard living by making a fish sauce. The methods of activities carried out to achieve the objectives of community partnership are: (1) lecture method; (2) discussion method, and (3) practical demonstration method. The practical demonstration method is carried out by training all service participants through the practice of making fish sauce directly to the group of housewives. The results of the activities that have been carried out are the increase in knowledge and skills of housewives in the diversification of processing fisheries food so that they are expected to contribute to improving the family economy.

Abstract

The purpose of teaching English in Indonesia has been stated in the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 096/1967 on December 12th, 1967. The decree is to develop students' communicative English skills which are included listening, reading, writing and speaking skills. In the university level, students are expected to have grammatical knowledge of English and they can apply it in communication and interaction in life. English for Specific Purposes (ESP) or English for special purposes is a new approach in teaching and it is used in English for specific fields and studies which are in accordance with the needs of the field of science and the profession of English language users. The objectives will be achieved from this program are: Providing an introduction to mastery skills about English for Specific Purposes for Vocational School Teachers, it is used to improve teaching English and Deepen knowledge of English for Specific Purposes. Besides, to support English teaching and how to solve the problems if applying English for Specific Purposes in English teaching. The implementation of service requires 3 months consisting of: (1). Preparation includes surveys and place permit, (2). Socialization and audience, (3). The implementation of training and workshop activities for 4 meetings and evaluation in accordance with the material and practice of the teachers in one of the Vocational Schools in Kediri city, (4). Writing community service reports.

Abstract

This program was held aimed at improving the competency of technical drawing of vocational students in the Municipality of Kediri. Competence in this service consists of three aspects, namely affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. This program is carried out with a model of meeting in the classroom, giving theory, practicum, performance of making parts with image models and real object models. The improvement of students' abilities was measured using observation sheets of student activities to determine the improvement of the affective aspects of students, the pretest and posttest instruments to determine the increase in cognitive aspects of students, the worksheets of students to determine the improvement of psychomotor aspects. The first output of this program is to increase the ability of vocational students in the field of mechanical engineering with the help of computers using CAD-based software. The next output is a competency certificate that will be given to students in accordance with their competencies.
