Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of fermented flour turi leaves in artificial feed on the growth of Srikandi niloticus fish seed (Oreochromis aureus x niloticus). This research was conducted on Desember 5, 2016 to Januari 5, 2017 in the Laboratory of Brackish Water, Faculty of Fisheries, Pekalongan University. The research method used experimental methods with Complete Random Design (CRD), consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications. The feed used is artificial feed, whcih added turi leaves fermented flour with different precentages 0 %, 5 %, 10 %, and 15 %. The fish used are Srikandi niloticus fish seed, sized 5-7 cm, stocked in the aquarium, with density of 1 fish/L. The parameters observed were the growing biomass, the survival rate (SR), and the quality of water as supporting data. The results of this research showed that the use of fermented flour turi leaves in artificial feed, affect the growth of Srikandi niloticus fish seed (F count (80,53)> F table (5,96)). The use of fermented flour turi leaves gave the highest yield to the biomass growth rate of Srikandi niloticus fish seed on a treatment equal to 7,33 grams. The results of polynomials orthogonal analysis produced the forms quadratc equation Y = 3,28 + 0,54 X – 0,02 X2 (R2 = 0,78), where X is the percentage of turi leaves fermented flour addition in artificial feed and Y is the growth of Srikandi niloticus fish seed biomass. Based on those equation, the result obtained maximum value X = 12,43 % of the total weight percentage of the feed additions, and maxmimum value Y = 6,64 grams. The survival rate of Srikandi niloticus fish seed during the research reached 100 %. The water quality research is feasible for media maintenance of Srikandi niloticus fish, that is temperature 26 – 29o C, pH 6.7 – 7.8, DO 6 mg/l.Keywords: Niloticus, Turi Leaves Fermented Flour.

Abstract

LKM PEMP Swamitra merupakan lembaga keuangan mikro yang berbasis Program Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Masyarakat Pesisir (PEMP) yang merupakan program peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir secara terencana dan terstruktur. Namun dalam pengembangannya, terdapat beberapa kendala dalam implementasinya, yaitu kurangnya ketersediaan dana bagi pembiayaan pada LKM PEMP Swamitra, kurangnya penginformasian fungsi dan peranan LKM PEMP Swamitra, kurangnya peranan pihak-pihak yang terkait atas pengembangannya, kurang optimalnya pelayanan LKM PEMP. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu pencarian gagasan strategis komprehensif yang dapat mengatasi problema tersebut, yaitu gagasan yang terdiri dari upaya peningkatan mainshare LKM PEMP Swamitra pada pengusaha kecil berbasis produk-produk ikan tangkapan masyarakat pesisir di daerah-daerah yang terdapat program PEMP, peningkatan peranan pihak-pihak berkompetenpada LKM PEMP Swamitra pada daerah-daerah yang terdapat program PEMP, peningkatan ketersediaan dana pembiayaan LKM PEMP Swamitra pada daerah-daerah yang terdapat program PEMP, peningkatan kualitas pelayanan pada LKM PEMP Swamitra meliputi Reliability, Responsiviness, Assurance, Emphaty dan Tangibles. Kata Kunci : Strategi, PEMP, Swamitra, Pengembangan Usaha Kecil, Produk Ikan Tangkapan

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of the time of fermentation of organic matter (chicken mature, tofu waste and bread waste) that’s different to protein content of fertilizer of Daphnia sp.’s culture media and determine the best treatment to produce the protein content of fertilizer of Daphnia sp.’s culture media, growth, biomass and protein content on Daphnia sp.. This research used laboratory animals such as Daphnia sp. and a container of concrete tanks as many as 12. The methods of this research used experimental methods with Complete Random Design with 4 treatments and 3 repetition with the density of the Daphnia sp. was 100 ind./l with a dose of fertilizers is 25 % chicken manure, 25 % tofu waste and 50 % bread the total amount of the combination was 2 g/l. Treatments of this research were Treatment A (0 days fermentation without EM4), B (7 days fermentation), C (14 days fermentation), D (21 days fermentation). The results showed that the treatment of C was the highest protein content of fertilizer is 20.10%, population density valued 1036.73 ind/ml, biomass in treatment C resulted averaged in 130.40 gram, the content of protein is 67.49%, specific growth rate with a value of 0.671/day. The conclusion of this research that was found from the addition of the combination organic material (chicken manure, tofu waste and bread waste) with different fermentation time gave significant difference (P<0,01) on nutritional fertilizers, growth, biomass, and nutrient contents of Daphnia sp.Keywords : Daphnia sp., time of fermentation, protein

Abstract

Natural food is the best food for fish because the nutrient cannot be replaced by artificial food. Artemia is one of the best available live food for larvae shrimp (L. vannamei), it is due to Artemia has a good nutrient for larvae shrimp. The purpose of the study is to the influence of the growth, survival and biomass weight through feeding larval shrimp Artemia sp. local products fortified). Tested animals that used were larvae of shrimp with average stages PL1-PL10, this study was conducted by using completely randomized experimental design with 4 treatments and 3 replicates. The results showed that there were significant effects (P<0.05) on biomass of shrimp larvae fed by Artemia sp. local products enriched by diatom, which the Artemia sp. local products fed by C.calcitrans and S.costatum is the best treatment with 5.84±0.6%; for biomass and showed that there were significant effect (P<0.05) on biomassof shrimp larvae fed by Artemia sp. local products enriched by diatom is 5,93±0,12 gr and 87,62 ± 2,52%. For highest survival rate showed that there were significant effects (P<0.05) on biomass of shrimp larvae fed by Artemia sp. local products enriched by diatom with the highest biomass of shrimp larvae fed by Artemia sp. Abstract

AbstractCarp is a freshwater fish, body shape is long and somewhat rounded with a small head, the high back and across large scaly body.The development of aquaculture carp (Cyprinus carpio) is progressing very rapidly with cultivation system are manifold. Pisciculture technology will not form without yielding seeds followed by genetic improvement effort. To improve the quality of the parent, the parent needs to be purified race carp (Cyprinus carpio) that exist so that the resulting pure strain. The success of seed carp, especially at this stage of the enlargement is determined by the quality of the seed. Breeding programs developed at this time is the method gynogenesis. Ginogenesis method is the process of female gamete without interference from male gamete gene.The experimental design used in this study is completely randomized design (CRD) is equipped with 3 treatments and 3 replications. Analysis using analysis of variance, with the distribution table F or F test that compares the value of F arithmetic with F table.Based on the analysis of research data on the influence of the length of time a different heat shock against the hatchability of eggs carp (Cyprinus carpio) method gynogenesis meiosis, based on the results of research, treatment A showed optimal results with an average 17.33, treatment B showed 12. 33 and C treatment showed 7.00. Based on calculations obtained ANOVA calculated F value (47.29)> F 1% (18.00) but larger than F 5% (6.49) then H1 is rejected at the level of a = 1% and H0 highly significant conclusions (hight significant). Key words : Heat Shock, Gynogenesis Meiosis, Hatching rate.

Abstract

Availability of diet in Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) cultivation is becoming a main concern. One of the problems in the artificial diet is that the protein content could not fully be utilized by the catfish. To solve the problem is by adding papain protease in the artificial diet. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of papain protease enzyme in artificial diet on diet utilization efficiency and growth performance of sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) fingerlings in the Village of Tambaksari, Sub-district of Rowosari, District of Kendal, and Central Java. The fingerlings with initial body weight averaging 4.23±0,30 g were cultivated with the density of 1 fingerling per liter. The fingerlings were obtained from Center for Hacthery, Muntilan. The fingerlings were fed with artificial diet in four different doses of papain enzyme: A (0%), B (0.75%), C (1.5%), and D (2.25%). The experiment used Complete Random Design with 4 (four) treatments and each treatment replicated 3 (three) times. The results show that the addition of papain protease enzyme significantly (P<0.01) affected on the spesific growth rate (SGR) and net protein utilization (NPU). It could be concluded that the addition of papain protease enzyme could increase the specific growth rate (SGR) and net protein utilization (NPU) of Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) fingerlings. Optimum papain protease enzyme dose on the specific growth rate was 2.25% per kg diet. The water quality during study was still in the viable ranges for Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) fingerlings cultivation.Key word: papain protease enzyme, artificial diet, growth, sangkuriang catfish fingerlings

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji peran rekayasa pakan dan lingkungan terhadap percepatan pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan kepiting bakau, dengan memanfaatkan pakan dari berbagai jenis pakan segar (limbah ikan dan wideng) dan rekayasa lingkungan dengan kombinasi biofilter system menggunakan daun mangrove, dimana masing masing dari kepiting bakau diperlihara dengan sistem batery. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan pemberian jenis pakan yang berbeda. Ulangan dilakukan pemeliharaan terhadap sepuluh ekor kepiting bakau. Dosis pemberian pakan tiap perlakuan sebanyak 5 % . Perlakuan ”A”, pemberian pakan ikan rucah, perlakuan ”B” pemberian pakan wideng sebanyak 5 % dari berat biomassa perhari dan perlakuan ”C”, pemberian pakan pelet sebanyak 5 % dari berat biomassa perhari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pakan terbaik untuk budidaya kepiting bakau dengan sistem batery adalah pakan pelet.Sedangkan Perbedaan pakan (Segar, Pelet) berupa ikan rucah, wideng dan pelet memberi pengaruh yang nyata (p<0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan biomassa mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR) kepiting bakau. Pertumbuhan mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan harian (SGR) tertinggi dihasilkan oleh perlakuan pakan C sebesar 60.58 g ± 2.140 dan 0.81 % ± 0.022. Sedangkan terhadap kelulushidupan perbedaan pakan segar maupun pelet tidak memberi pengaruh yang nyata (p>0,05). Kualitas air untuk budidaya kepiting bakau relatif layak. Abstract

Water quality is one of the major factors in the success aquacultur vannamei shrimp in ponds. This study aims to determine differences in the different water sources in the management of ponds for the production of vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeuse vannamei). The method used in this study exploratory kompar with descriptive analysis of qualitative and quantitative. Statistical t-test results on the water quality of the pond water boreholes and water sources tidal pond in the mornings and evenings differ significantly consisting of salinity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, brightness and ammonia. Production results obtained pond water source wells drilled better gained an average of 2850 kg, FCR 1.2, SR 93.7% growth and weight of 26.3 grams / tail, then the tidal pond water source gained an average of 2052, 5 kg, FCR 1.6 SR 92.7% growth and weight of 20 grams /. Suggestions vannamei shrimp culture with artesian well water sources need to be tail. Conclusions water quality and production wells drilled pond water better than water tidal pond applied and developed society to farmers and water quality observation needs to be done carefullyKeywords : Vannamei shrimp aquaculture, water quality, the result of production.

Abstract

Daun sirih dapat digunakan sebagai obat alami maupun buatan karena mengandung chlavicol yang mempunyai sifat bakterasidal dan fungisidal pada bakteri dan  jamur. Selain itu daun sirih dapat menanggulangi serangan ekloparasit pada ikan hias tetra salah satunya adalah ikan tetra. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai konsentrasi daun sirih terhadap kelulushidupan ikan neon tetra terhadap serangang ektoparasit dan konsentrasi optimal yang diberikan sebagai pengobatan terhadap serangan ktoparasit.Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental laboratories dengan rancangan dasar acak lengkap dan ikan uji yang digunakan adalah ikan hias tetra. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi daun sirih yang berbeda mempunyai pengaruh sangat nyeta (P (  0,01) terhadap Kelulushidupan ikan hias tetra dan padakonsentrasi  daun sirih 8,3 ppt (99,40%) paling efektif untuk mengurangi ektoparasit pada ikan hias tetra. Kata kunci : Daun Sirih, Ikan hias Tetra Ektoparasit dan Kelulushidupan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKualitas pakan yang baik selain dari kandungan protein, juga berasal dari kandungan mineral yang terdapat di dalamnya. Penambahan madu dalam pakan buatan mampu memberikan kadar mineral yang dibutuhkan tubuh untuk pertumbuhan. Madu mengandung mineral-mineral yang berfungsi untuk pembentukan sel, pengatur kadar air dalam tubuh dan mengandung antioksidan yang dapat berfungsi untuk ketahanan tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan madu pada pakan buatan terhadap laju pertumbuhan relatif, efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan dan kelulushidupan ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos). Ikan uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ikan bandeng (C. chanos) ukuran nener dengan rata-rata bobot awal sebesar 0.8 – 1.2g dengan jumlah padat tebar 25 ekor/wadah. Frekuensi pemberian pakan dilakukan 3 kali sehari pada pukul 07.00 WIB, 12.00 WIB dan 17.00 WIB sebesar 5% dari bobot biomassa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali pengulangan. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah penambahan madu dengan dosis yang berbeda pada pakan buatan, antara lain: A (0 ml/kg pakan); B (125 ml/kg pakan); C (250 ml/kg pakan) dan D (375 ml/kg pakan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan madu pada pakan buatan memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan bobot mutlak (W), laju pertumbuhan relatif (RGR), efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan (EPP) dan protein efesiensi rasio (PER) serta tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap Survival Rate (SR). Perlakuan D (375ml/kg pakan) merupakan perlakuan terbaik yang memberikan nilai tertinggi pada W (249,53±2,75g); RGR (24,55±0,17%/hari); EPP (47,36±0,50%), dan PER (1,81±0,08%). Kualitas air pada media pemeliharaan yang meliputi suhu, DO, pH, amonia dan salinitas tergolong pada kisaran yang sesuai untuk budidaya ikan bandeng (C. chanos). Kata kunci:Pakan; Madu; Ikan Bandeng; Dosis ABSTRACTThe quality of the feed is good aside from the content of protein as well as from mineral contained therein. The fish used in this research is the milkfish (C. chanos) in size with an average weight of 0.8 – 1.2 g to the amount of dense stocking 25-ind /cages. Frequency of feeding was done in 3 times a day at 7:00 PM GMT, 12:00 PM GMT and 17:00 PM GMT amounting to 5% of the weight of biomass. This research was conducted with the experimental method using random design complete (RAL), with the 4 treatments and repetition as much as 3 times. The treatments in this study is the addition of honey with different doses in artificial feed such as  A (0 ml/kg of feed); B (125 ml/kg of feed); C (250 ml/kg of feed) and D (375 ml/kg of feed). The results showed that the addition of honey in artificial feed has significant (P < 0.05) in absolutally weight (W), relative growth rate (RGR), efficiency of feed utilization (EPP) and protein effeciency ratio (PER) and has no significant (P > 0.05) for survival rate (SR).  The treatment D is the best once which has gave the highest value on the W (249,53 ± 2,75 g); RGR (24,55 ± 0,17 %/day); EPP (47,36±0,50%), and PER (1.81±0.08%). Water quality maintenance of media such as temperature, DO, pH, salinity and ammonia have in range that is suitable for the cultivation of milkfish (C. chanos). Keywords: Feed, Honey, Milkfish, Doses
