Abstract

Hospitals and clinics are included in the criteria of work places with a variety of hazards that can cause health effects, not only for the employees who work in that place, but also  the patients and visitors of hospitals and clinics. With the application of K3 and ergonomics in any existing facilities in the area of the UMP clinic will result in improvement of service quality, and patient satisfaction.  The methods used in this research are Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and the Kano Method. The result shows that the percentage of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) is 59.8%, it means that the patients satisfied to the facilities and services. Based on the KANO methods, the following attributes have to improved to increase the customer satisfaction, that are the room temperature, the room tranquility, and lighting conditions.

Abstract

CV Poetra Mandiri Karton is a company that has not been able to meet production target each day.  Based on preliminary analysis, production underproduction was due to workers’ fatigue caused by manual material handling activities in the entire production process.  To solve these problems, nordic body map (NBM) approach was applied.  Prior to work, workers experienced musculoskeletal fatigue at down waist, and they experienced musculoskeletal fatigue at up waist, left forearm, right forearm, left hand, right hand, left ankle, and right ankle after work. Based on questionnaire of National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX), average of mental workload from all three groups is quite heavy.  By using rapid entire body assessment (REBA), it is found that average value of the risk in group 1 and group 2 requires immediate action, whereas action is required by the third group.  This article also presents a trolley design that will be used in manual material handling activities.

Abstract

Health and Safety (K3) is an effort to create a safe working atmosphere, comfortable and achieve thegoal of maximum productivity. K3 is very important to be implemented in all areas of employment withoutexception building projects such as apartments, hotels, malls. However, to prevent any risk of workplaceaccidents is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand. Occupational accidents disebab by severalfactors, among others, occupational safety and health training (X1), the commitment of top management(X2), work environment (X3), awareness of workers (X4), regulations and safety and health procedures(X5), availability rambu- occupational health and safety signs (X6) in the workplace, and communicationworkers (X7). The most significant factor affecting the accidents are the top management commitment(X2) with a value of 36.4% koefien regression and awareness of workers (X4) of 30.1%. If both of thesefactors add up the total is 66.5%. Keywords : occupational accident, health and safety factor, significantly.

Abstract

Celebral Palsy (CP) is a disorder of muscle control which results from some damage to part of the brain. Children with cerebral palsy can have problems such as muscle weakness, awkardness, slowness, shakiness, and difficulty with balance. In severe cerebral palsy, the child may have many difficulties in performing everyday tasks and movements.  However, a proper treatment often brings an improvement, though not a cure. In terms of independent mobility particularly walking and standing, this study aims to design a walking assistive device called Vestmiles. The product design includes four parts: a belt, vest, sandals for parents, and sandals for children with the length and height successively: 47.3 cm and a 23 cm; 39.3 cm and 59 cm; 26.9 cm and 9.9 cm (parents? size of slippers); 23.9 cm and 6 cm (children?s size of slippers). To design the product, it is used the measurement gained from 3 Celebral Palsy children. This work is not only to support physiotherapy program, but also increasing relationship between children and parents. Vestmiles is a user friendly, lightweight, adaptable, efficient and cost effective device.

Abstract

The case in the metal casting process is when the metal is melted and then poured into a liquid metal reservoir and then poured into a pouring tool and then poured into a mold. In the process of pouring into the mold is still using manual equipment, namely by using wood which ends have a container such as a bucket ( bucket)) made of a mixture of white cement, brick fire sand and clay and the metal liquid pouring tool has a length of 1.5 cm, a weight of 5 kg with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of a container for liquid metal 20 cm does not include the load. If the pouring device filling with liquid metal, then the weight reaches ± 20 kg, with a weight of ± 20 kg the worker must pour the liquid continuously into the mold and at least each worker must go back and forth 6 times pouring metal liquid into a mold in a single combustion process. Based on the nordic body map questionnaire data as many as 8 workers felt pain in the shoulder and arm because the burden was born, resulting in workers often feel pain in the muscles of the arms and back. Because the wooden handle used to pour metal liquid is too slippery (exposed to sweat), so there is a need for improvement in activities. From the results of the above observations, it is necessary to design ideas for new work facilities. It expects to affect the improvements related to the position of the hand in the process of pouring liquid into the mold. Then the design idea needs to be done in the form of a casting tool that has been modified and can be used according to user needs and can be said to be ergonomic, safe, and comfortable. The method used in designing castings is quality function deployment and anthropometric techniques.

Abstract

As the population grows in big cities and watersheds, it will significantly impact river waters. One of the settlements located on the banks of the river Winongo is Ngampil village, Ngampil sub-district, Yogyakarta City. According to data from the Yogyakarta City Central Statistics Agency, the population of the Ngampil sub-district increased in 2018 to 18,591 inhabitants, from 2016 with 10,540 inhabitants, the Winongo River is used by the Ngampil residents for fish farming by making cages and also residents who use the Winongo River for activities environmental conservation. One effort to control water pollution is to monitor water quality consistently. The problem in this research is the absence of tools to monitor river water quality. Therefore, it is necessary to design an efficient monitoring tool to read water quality with a ph indicator in real-time using the hovercraft method through the internet of things method. Utilizing this robot boat tool can monitor river water quality using an automatic drive system and display the river water's pH indicator on the website. This research showed river water quality at 6:00 in the morning with a pH value of water 6.81 information Poor / Contaminated by Weight, daytime at 12.00 with a pH value of water 6.77 information Poor / Contaminated by Weight, and afternoon at 18.00 with a water ph value of 6.66 information Poor / Severely polluted.

Abstract

PT. QI merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi traffic light. Pada proses perakitan terdapat tahapn proses yang tidak efektif sehingga bedampak pada efektifitas dalam perusahaan tersebut, yakni ketidaksesuaian antara output dengan target produksi. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah terjadinya gerakan-gerakan yang tidak memberi nilai tambah yang dilakukan oleh pekerja yang mengakibatkan bertambahnya waktu standar sebesar 168 menit/ box lamp traffic light. Hal tersebut berdampak pada ketidaktercapaian target produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan waktu proses perakitan, sehingga target produksi akan tercapai. Metode yang digunakan adalah  MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique) untuk mengurangi gerakan yang tidak efektif. Hasil analisis dan evaluasi menggunakan MOST dengan menggabungkan perakitan copper pad, armature dan box lamp menunjukkan waktu standar proses pengerjaan 88,95 menit/ box lamp. Perbedaan waktu sebelum dan sesudah evaluasi sebesar 79,05 menit.

Abstract

Agro Indah Persada adalah anak perusahaan dari wilmar grub yang bergerak pada bidang pengolahan buah kelapa sawit menjadi CPO dan karnel, belakangan ini terjadi penurunan produktivitas pada stasiun pengolahan. pada proses pemisahan minyak CPO dari buah sawit terdapat indikasi kerusakan pada beberapa bagian pada mesin screw press, yang berdampak pada kerugian perusahaan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya nilai OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) pada mesin screw press melalui penerapan TPM (Total Productive Maintanance). Setelah nilai OEE di ketahui maka akan dilakukan perbandingan besar nilai OEE standar word class. OEE adalah metode yang dipakai untuk mengukur peforma suatu mesin sehingga akan diketahui tingkat produktifitas pada mesin tersebut. dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa nilai Tertinggi Avalibility Rate pada mesin screw press adalah sebesar 95,35% , nilai Peforma Rate tertinggi 64,96 % , dan Quality Rate tertinggi sebesar 99,94% dan nilai OEE tertinggi adalah 61,54%.

Abstract

PT Indonesia Thai Summit Auto merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi produk Stamping Body Parts dan Assembly Parts for Automobile. Sebagai perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam bidang industri otomotif, jadi diperlukan strategi dan perencanaan yang baik untuk meningkatkan produksinya. Salah satu hal yang harus diperhatikan adalah masalah tingkat produktivitas pekerja dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaannya. Pada lini kerja Spot Assembly pada model YHA dengan part number 64513-72S00. Didapatkan pada data dari PT Indonesia Thai Summit Auto pada bulan Februari 2022 part 64513-72S00 di mana permintaan customerpada bulan Februari sebanyak 1990pcs dengan waktu kerja selama 8 jam tidak tercapainya produksi harian untuk permintaan customer dan belum adanya waktu standar dalam pembuatan part tersebut sehingga menghabiskan 221 detik/part hingga proses akhir. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diperoleh total waktu standar yang optimal sebesar 0.059 jam atau212.4 detik untuk menghasilkan 16.95 Part/jam part 64513-72S00. Perbaikan yang dilakukan agar dapat meningkatkan produktivitas pada lini kerja spot assembly adalah dengan menambahkan rak dengan roda sehingga keluar dan masuknya box part mudah, selain itu pembuatan rak menjadi mudah dijangkau oleh karyawan. Pada sebelum improvementmenghabiskan waktu sebanyak 7 jam 40 menit untuk menghasilkan 120 part, sedangkan setelah dilakukan improvement waktu yang dihabiskan untuk menghasilkan 120part adalah 7 jam 8 menit. Dengan penetapan waktu standar tersebut tingkat produktivitas menjadi 16.67% dari yang semulanya hanya 16.61%, terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 0.06%.
