Abstract

The global phenomenon in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era is currently hitting Indonesia. Many information floods the public every minute with various content spread across multiple media. This information for a country can be a powerful weapon as a form of intelligence product to prepare a national defense strategy. The demands of an increasingly fast-paced era make GEOINT needed to obtain information quickly, accurately and integrate synthesis and analysis. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the development of GEOINT in Indonesia and its application in overcoming information overload in the present. This study uses the library method by collecting references relevant to the research problem from various sources. The study results indicate that the overload of information from multiple increasingly sophisticated media due to technological developments has made GEOINT's information sources richer. GEOINT in Indonesia continues to optimize accuracy and speed in geospatial analysis to avoid losing to the rate of data sources that continue to increase, both from human resources, hardware, software, and access to information available according to Indonesia's needs. GEOINT as a national defense strategy can be carried out as a form of effective information collection and can protect confidential information. GEOINT will become increasingly valuable in both military and non-military management over the next few years.

Abstract

Every human being cannot predict what events will happen to him, whether natural disasters or non-natural disasters that can befall his property assets. Property insurance is a type of protection for property assets such as houses, apartments, and offices. The goal is to anticipate financial losses due to unexpected events that befall your property. Data such as Risk-Based Capital (RBC) is needed in choosing a property insurance company, the amount of premium, insurance coverage, and the premium period as a material consideration in making decisions. In implementing the Property Insurance Selection Decision Support System Application using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, the user determines the main priority weights from the predetermined criteria, from the results of determining the priority weights, a recommendation for property insurance companies is obtained which is desired by the property owner from the calculation results, it can be concluded that the average calculation speed of the application of 30 experimental sample data is 1264 ms or 1.264s

Abstract

The emergence of peri-urban areas as a transition zone between villages and cities has been influenced by the increasing flow of urbanization. Peri-urban is a dynamically developing suburban area with a mix of rural and urban characteristics. This mixture of characters can be classified from land use patterns, demographic characteristics, economy, and availability of public infrastructure services. On the other hand, the impact of urbanization in urban areas provides positive things through economic growth that supports the sustainability of people in urban areas. The city of Yogyakarta is a growth center in the Special Region of Yogyakarta consisting of 14 sub-districts with significant operations in the trade and service sector. The rapid growth of the city of Yogyakarta has triggered the development of the surrounding area which is directly adjacent to several sub-districts in Sleman Regency. This study aims to examine the typology and development of Yogyakarta City and its surroundings in 2015-2019 with the research area being 20 sub-districts in Yogyakarta City and parts of Sleman Regency. The peri-urban zone typological study employs descriptive geographic analysis, overlays, and scoring. According to a series of analyses, there were developments and changes in the peri-urban typology in Yogyakarta area and its environs from 2015 to 2019, which were turned into urban areas in terms of physical, social, and economic factors.

Abstract

Research in the processing of the data shows that the larger data increasingly requires a longer time. Processing huge amounts of data on a single computer has limitations that can be overcome by parallel processing. This study utilized the MapReduce programming model data synchronization by duplicating the data from database client to database server. MapReduce is a programming model that was developed to speed up the processing of large data. MapReduce model application on the training process performed on data sharing that is adapted to number of sub-process (thread) and data entry to database server and displays data from data synchronization. The experiments were performed using data of 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000 of data, and use the thread as much as 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 threads. The results showed that the use of MapReduce programming model can result in a faster time, but time to create many thread that many require a longer time. The results of the use of MapReduce programming model can provide time efficiency in synchronizing data both on a single database or a distributed database.
