Abstract

This study aims to determine the reading ability and understanding Arabic texts in Class X MA Al-Khoiriyyah Semarang according to Barrett's taxonomy. This study reveals students' reading ability Arabic texts comprehension according to Barrett's taxonomy theory. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research, and the research method used in this study is descriptive quantitative research using observational methods. And data collection in in this study use a test (multiple choice test).The result of this research is the average percentage of students' reading comprehension ability of Class X MA Al-Khoiriyyah Semarang is 46% with almost medium category. The number of students with reading comprehension skills with a perfect score is 1 person or 3%, with a good score there is 1 person or 3%, with an adequate score there are 9 people or 30%, with a moderate score there are 3 people or 10%, with an almost average score there is 1 person or 3%, with a low score there are 2 people or 7%, with a very low score there are 3 people or 10%, with a bad score there are 6 people or 20%, with a very bad score there are 4 people or 13%.الكلمات المحورية: Reading; comprehension; Barret’s taxonomy;

Abstract

Most of students in class XI at Darussalam Kepahiang Modern Islamic Boarding School, Bengkulu, encountered many problems in reading skill. The main problem was there were not appropriate teaching English reading materials yet that give big portion and opportunity for the students to read actively based on their contextual or daily experiences in order to support teaching and learning process of English reading in Islamic boarding school. The objective of this research was developing a set of supplementary teaching English reading With Islamic Materials and Values for the students based on Contextual Teaching and Learning. This research used Research and Development design with the procedures: conducting need assessment, developing supplementary materials, conducting expert validation, revising the materials, trying out the materials, and revising the materials. The researcher collected the data by using questionnaires, interviews, analyzing the syllabus, and field notes. The product of this research is four units of supplementary teaching English reading class XI at Pondok Pesantren Modern Darussalam Kepahiang, Bengkulu, Indonesia

Abstract

Collocations are always present in every reading. Reading comprehension followed by collocation mastery. The objective of this research is (1) to investigate the students’ lexical mastery of collocation (2) to investigate the students’ reading comprehension achievement (3) to investigate significant correlation between students’ lexical mastery of collocation and their reading comprehension achievement in English Department at 5th Semester of UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. Correlational study was applied as a method. There were 30 students taken as the sample of this research. The data were collected by using lexical collocation and reading comprehension achievement test. In analyzing the data, this research used Pearson Product Moment Correlation and SPSS 25. The result showed that (1) the score of lexical collocation test was 93.3 % with category is poor (2) the score of reading comprehension test was 66.7% with category is very poor. Finally, it can be conclude that the correlation between students’ lexical mastery of collocation and their reading comprehension is fair. It means alternative (H1) was accepted while null (H0) was rejected. Moreover, since low lexical collocation mastery can affect low reading comprehension achievement, it is hoped that the knowledge and ability of students on lexical collocation can be improved better by the teacher.

Abstract

 إن العلاقة بين القرآن الكريم واللغة العربية علاقة لا تنفك قائمة، ومن ثم كان هذا البحث؛ ليفتح الباب أمام الإفادة من القرآن الكريم في مجال علم اللغة التطبيقي، من خلال تقديم أنموذج مقترح يوظف القرآن الكريم في بناء منهاج لتعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بالملايوية، باستخدام المفردات المشتركة بين اللغة الملايوية والألفاظ القرآنية. مشكلة الدراسة: إن مما دفع الباحث للقيام بهذا البحث هو ندرة المناهج وكتب تعليم اللغة العربية التي تعتمد توظيف القرآن الكريم، أساسًا في بنائها؛ ومن ثم فقد اهتمت هـذه الدراسـة بإلقـاء الضـوء علـی أهمية توظيف القـرآن الكریـم والإفادة من المفردات المشتركة في بناء منهاج تعليمي متكامل لتعليم اللغــة العربیــة للناطقين بالملايوية. منهج الدراسة: اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في إعداد بحثه؛ لملاءمته لموضوع البحث وطبيعته. أهداف الدراسـة: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلـی رسم خطوط عريضة لمنهـج تعليمي متكامل، يتم فيه توظيف النص القرآني في تعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بالملايوية. نتائج الدراسة: تظهر نتائج هذه الدراسة أن اعتماد توظيف القرآن الكريم كأساس في بناء منهاج لتعليم اللغة العربية للناطقيــن بالملايوية ممكن ومتاح، كما أن له آثارًا إيجابية شتى على الطلاب.الكلمات المفتاحية: القرآن الكریم- توظيف - اللغة العربیة- منهاج - الناطقين بغيرها -

Abstract

AbstrackIbrahim Abdullah Rafidah said in his book that the Qur’an is the first of the principles of grammar. Thus, he determined the correct history of the relationship of grammatical research with the Holy Qur’an as an existing and close link since the beginning of thinking about inventing grammar and building its edifice. Hence, every person needs to learn the Arabic language to understand the meanings of the Qur'an. The Arabic language has been integrated not only through the science of grammar, but also has a strong relationship with it, which is the science of rhetoric to know the meanings of the verses of the Qur’an and the miraculous rhetorical methods. Thus, the appropriate study for this field is the rhetorical analytical study. After the researcher perused the enlightening book of tafsir Al-Munir, the researcher found Surah An-Nahl, which mentioned the divine power in this universe, the evidence and the oneness of God. There are two opposite words whose meaning is unknown. Therefore, this research is related to At-Tibaq in Surat An-Nahl and its revelation. The researcher used in his research is qualitative desk research. The method of data collection used by the researcher is the Documentary Method. An approach that uses written sources to obtain data, The result of this research: The number of verses matching in Surat An-Nahl is thirteen verses: 6, 17, 19, 36, 37, 48, 61, 75, 80, 83, 93, 96, 103, 116. As for the meanings of Al-Tibaq in Surat Al-Nahl, it can be relied on the interpretation of the written verse in the analysis, as well as on the images of the written dishes for which the dishes are cast from the real and figurative dishes.

Abstract

ملخصيهدف هذا البحث الى اكتشاف صورة المرأة التى تعمل كعاهرة. يسعى البحث الى الاطلاع على وجهات النظر المختلفة المؤلف والمؤلفة عن موقف البغايا كالشخصية الرئيسية في رويتين "امرأة عند نقطة الصفر" لنوال السعداوي و " Tuhan Izinkan Aku Jadi Pelacur" لمحي الدين محمد دحلان. يعتمد البحث على المنهج التحليلي بطريقة وصفية نوعية. يستخدم هذا البحث الأدبي المقارن بنظرية النسوية. وطريقة جمع البيانات هي الطريقة المكتبية. والنتائج في هذا البحث أن هناك اختلافا كبيرا في وجهة نظر المؤلف والمؤلفة في وصف مهنة عاهرة التي كانت الشخصية الرئيسية في رويتين. وترى المؤلفة أن الظلم والاضطهاد الذي تعانيها المرأة واقعيا، لأنها ضعيفة وعاجزة. يتناقض هذا الرأي مع وجهة نظر المؤلف الذي يريد إثبات أنه في الاستجابة القضية النسوية ، يجب عليها المرأة النضال بقوة من أجل حقوقها كشخص مضطهدة.

Abstract

ملخّص كان عالم التعليم فى إندونيسيا قلقا للغاية بشأن مناسبة الكتاب الدراسيّ فى كل المستويات التعليمية و نظامها، ثمّ فيه قرار و معيار عن مناسبة الكتاب الدراسيّ و تقديمه. جعلت الحكومة فرقة تسمّى بهيئة المعايير الوطنية التربوية ((BSNP، للنظر إلى جودة مناسبة الكتاب الدراسيّ، ومن إحدى وظائفها إنتاج مناسبة كتاب اللغة العربيّة من ناحية المضمون و التقديم و اللغوية و الصورة، وكما قرّر  (Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Republik Indonesia No.2 2008) عن الكتاب، فصل 4 الآية 1 أنّها فتشت الكتاب الدراسيّ للمبتدئين و المتوسطين من ناحية مناسبة استخدامها، قبل استخدمه المدرّس و المعلّم كمصادر التعليم. و يهدف هذا البحث لمعرفة جودة مناسبة كتاب اللغة العربية للصف الحادي عشر إلى المنهج الدراسي 2013 و نشرته وزارة الشؤون الدينية على قرار وزير الشؤون الدينية 183 عام 2019 بالمدرسة الثانوية الذي يركز تحليله على ناحية المضمون و التقديم و اللغة لهذا الكتاب. و النهج الذي استخدمه الباحث هو النهج الكيفي، مع طريقة تحليل المحتوى، و طريقة جمع اليبانات التي استخدمها الباحث هي الملاحظة و دراسة التوثيق.و طريقة تحليل البيانات التي استخدمه الباحث هي تقليل البيانات و تقديم البيانات و الاستنتاجات. ونتائج  هذ البحث من كلّ  النواحي هي ناحية المضمون و التقديم و اللغة. و نتيجة من مضمون الكتاب حصل على النتيجة % 82,71 بتقدير مناسب جدّا، و تقديمه حصل على النتيجة %70 بتقدير مناسب، و لغته حصلت على النتيجة %81،48 بتقدير مناسب جدّا.الكلمة الرئيسية: مناسبة الكتاب، المنهج الدراسي 2013، 183KMA

Abstract

AbstractThe basic goal of learning Arabic is the ability of students to express Arabic correct expressions orally or with a pen and with what is read and what is heard. And Teaching Arabic in this digital age needs to develop its teaching method, one of these method is the Audiolingual. And uses the Fitrah Al-Arabiyah book to teach it. To find out the effectiveness of this method, the researcher implemented it in the ten grade students at Madrasah Aliyah of Al Azhar Islamic 24 Boarding School Cigombong Bogor in academic year 2021/2022. The researcher used the Classroom Action Research method, in terms of it has a tangible effect to know raising students’ speaking Arabic. Factors for knowing the skill of student speaking are the correct pronunciation of letters, the correct pronunciation of short and long characters, punctuality to intoning letters, eloquence. in order to obtain the required data, the researcher used the test method, observation, and written documents. And the results of this research are: The Audiolingual Method was able to make students speak Arabic while learning. The Audiolingual Method was able to increase students speaking skill as evidenced after adopting the audiolingual method and uses the Fitrah Al-Arabiyah book, exam after test was passed the students ability by comparison 20,8% The student is getting excellent results, and 41,7% the student is getting good results, and 16,7% enough results, and 20,8% students who didn’t graduate. And in the second cycle from pretest and posttest, increase students' speaking ability by comparison 9 students or 37,5% the students is getting excellent results, and 15 students or 62,5% the students is getting good results, and there are no students who don't pass.Keywords: The Audiolingual Method, Arabic learning, Fitrah Arabic Book.

Abstract

Learning media is needed to support and support the teaching and learning process in an education. Media is a tool that educators can use when learning in class. The creativity of educators in creating interesting and fun learning media must always be improved. Presentation of English material for the S-1 level of English Education must be provided in various forms of presentation that do not have to be tied only to textbooks, especially English material. An educator should have new and interesting learning media in delivering material to his students, not just through books or just the lecture method. Learning media used by educators must be adapted to the material and conditions of students. In today's era, technology is developing rapidly, every individual is expected to be able to take advantage of existing technology to support daily activities, including in education. Among the technological media that educators can use to learn to improve English mastery in first semester students of English is Canva. Canva is an online-based design application that lecturers can use to design learning materials through templates, posters, videos, infographics, and even presentation media. The many attractive designs in the Canva application can make it easier for lecturers to deliver learning material, students don't get bored easily and make learning fun and more effective. This research focused on the function of the Canva application as a learning medium that could be used by both educators and students. The purpose of this study was to find out more about the features in the Canva application that could be used to create learning media, with the hope of increasing innovation in designing interesting, effective and interactive learning media so that the planned learning targets were achieved. This research method used qualitative research methods, where data was collected through interviews and surveys through questionnaires. The results obtained were as much as 51% really understood, 20% understood, and 29% did not understand. Thus, the Canva application is feasible to be implemented in learning both offline and online to help facilitate understanding and increase the ability to master learning material.
