Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum further educates students to make observations, ask questions and reason on the knowledge being taught. Students are given lessons based on integrated themes in order to have knowledge about the environment, life, and have a strong personal foundation in social life and better creativity. Learning is a process that is able to condition students to achieve or obtain a number of learning experiences in the form of knowledge, skills, social, and basic values that are reflected in the habits of thinking and acting. Accounting is a science that is beneficial to human life. Almost everyone has applied accounting in daily life, such as how to arrange pocket money to be sufficient for a certain period of time or how spending money can be allocated in accordance with the expected shopping needs. This study aims to analyze and describe the effect of applying the 2013 curriculum in the accounting learning process at MA Al Manshuriyah, Sukabumi City. Respondents are teachers who teach at MA Al Manshuriyah, Sukabumi City. Data collection methods are observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis is data collection, data reduction, and verification. This study found that the effect of applying the 2013 curriculum in the learning process resulted from: a) the learning activities were designed by the teacher so that the learning process could be carried out professionally, b) the learning activities were organized for several activities namely introduction, main activities, and closing. Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the use of discourse markers in written fairy tale. In order to achieve the aim of this research, the following objective is set to analyze the percentage and the functions of discourse markers in the fairy tale of Thumbelina. The approach to this research is qualitative as well as discourse analysis method was chosen for the analysis. After analyzing the data, the research found that total word count of the fairy tale of Thumbelina was 4,335, which was taken as the basis for calculating the frequency of each DM. Within 4,335 words 41 different DMs were identified, but the number of occurrences of each DM was quite different. Total number of all DMs occurrences was 415 which composed 10.44 % of the total word count. Taking into consideration functions of DMs, there were found 358 occurrences of DMs fulfilling textual functions and 57 occurrences of DMs in interpersonal functions. Based on the result, the percentage of occurrences of discourse markers are more frequent in the textual discourse markers (86, 3%) than interpersonal discourse markers (13, 7%).

Abstract

This research is backed by the low creativity of elementary school students in the subjects of arts culture and Skills (SBK). The material taken is related to the batik curriculum in Banten in accordance with the PERGUB BANTEN 2014 that requires the entire school to integrate the local content curriculum of batik Banten. This research aims to increase the creativity of students in the local content curriculum in SBK subjects. This research uses class action research (PTK) with the number of students from 100 Grade 5 students elementary school who come from 4 (four) elementary schools in Panimbang, Pandeglang District by joining field trip activities. The results of the study were obtained through 2 (two) cycles, each cycle consists of 2 (two) meetings with a time allocation of 2 x 30 minutes. Based on the analysis of the research results obtained that there is no increase between the filed trip with the increase of student creativity on the field trips in integrating the curriculum batik. At the instructor's activity only increased by 0.5%, while in student activity only increased by 13.5%. Although the percentages are increasing, they remain in the "less" category, as they are below 70. Likewise on the results of creativity, there is no increase in cycles 1 and 2, because it remains in the category of "less".

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of Movie for Mechanical Engineering students of Politeknik Harapan Bersama Tegal. The method used is class action research using 2 cycles. The subject of this study is class 6C with 26 people. The student's improvement in vocabulary understanding is 60% in the first cycle. However, the results were categorized as failed because only 10 students received a minimum score of 73 or above 73. So the second cycle is implemented. In the second cycle there is an increase in the percentage understanding vocabulary 75% of the average value of 69-86. So it can be concluded that the student's understanding increases using movie.

Abstract

UNNES crowned a conservation university. The vision of UNNES to 2040 became an internationally reputable and conservation university. Conservation means the effort to protect and preserve the value of culture and human behavior in interacting with the environment. The research objectives reveal the integration of conservation values in UNNES campus habituation. The study used a qualitative case study design. Data collection using observations, documentation, and interviews. Testing the validity of data using the triangulation of sources, techniques, and theories, using the social action theory Talcott Parsons and the personality theory of Gordon Allport. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman models through three stages; Data reduction, data presentation, and data verification, as well as Spradley's taxonomy analysis. The results of the integration strategy of conservation values in the habituation of UNNES campus are conducted through academic and non-academic activities. Through academic activities, it is seen from the planting of conservation values through conservation education, environmental education, and other courses. While through non-academic activities are seen with the planting of conservation values through UPT conservation development activities, student activity units, and the Student Activities Center. The student personality has been conservative seen from the conservative behavior of college students, habituation to be a strategy to embed conservation values. With this, the student's behavior is closely related to the conservation character he has, so it can reflect the actions that have been performed by the role of instilling the conservation values of UNNES.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the correlation of mathematics skills as the basic skills that students need in order to solve physics problems that seem complicated and difficult to understand. Physics describes the order of nature in mathematical equations thus the ultimate goal of physics in finding other sequences and making use of it in real life can be achieved more easily. This research was conducted using literature study approach. The data were collected by means of documentation with secondary data obtained from several references. The data were then analyzed using content analysis technique. A relevant summary of the correlation between proper mathematical understanding and complex physics problem-solving ability was attained from this research. These results were confirmed by the data gained from a range of references in the form of books, both online and offline journals as well as prior conferences that have been read, reviewed and analyzed by focusing on the mastery of mathematics skills in developing students' critical thinking to work out physics problems.

Abstract

Vietnamese vocabulary is divided by different criteria, such as: word classes by origin; according to the scope of use; by using style and by positive and negative criteria, specifically, the native word class is the core class in Vietnamese vocabulary, which is a prop and plays a controlling role, controlling the activities of other word classes. Identifying a word as a native word is no easy task. Because Vietnamese has a common origin with Mon - Khmer languages. Therefore, there are words that still share common words. Finding the exact origin is extremely difficult, even for linguistic historians. In addition, the scope of words usage, the southern Buddhist press is heavily influenced by the Southern dialect, this is understandable because the writers (Buddhist reporters) often come from the South and one more thing is written for southern readers. In contrast, the current use of Buddhist jargon requires an exchange, that is: speaking of the Buddhist press language, it is impossible not to mention the word class (jargon) that has its own particularity. Buddhist jargon plays a tremendous role in preserving and promoting the values of Buddhism. It is inconceivable if the Buddhist language did not have these jargon
