Abstract

The literature on branding of educational institutions is still under development, so far there has been no research showing university branding. Research that has quantitative variations that have branding with other variables in the context of business organizations. This study aims to explore the formation of branding in vocational higher education institutions in the tourism sector.  Data were taken using Focus Group Discussion and interviews from tourism stakeholders.  This study uses thematic analysis, namely open coding and axial coding.  The results show that there are main attributes in the formation of branding, namely identity, alumni, management aspects, quality of human resources and products and competitiveness.  With the formation of these branding attributes, this research contributes to the measurement of tourism vocational education branding

Abstract

Keputusan dalam menentukan pilihan perguruan tinggi melalui identifikasi pengaruh dari tujuh variabel mencakup budaya, kelompok rujukan, keluarga, bauran pemasaran, persepsi, motivasi dan sikap merupakan objek dalam penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian adalah calon mahasiswa angkatan 2020 dan mahasiswa angkatan 2019 dengan total sampel sebesar 342 responden dengan metode proportionate stratified random sampling pada dua stratum sampel. Hasil analisis secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel dependent berpengaruh secara serempak terhadap keputusan akademik sebesar 89,5 persen. Secara parsial, hasil penelitian menunjukkan setiap variabel dependent berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan akademik dengan proporsi variabel dominan adalah keluarga, budaya dan persepsi

Abstract

This research is a case study conducted at tourism universities, namely STP Bandung (Bandung Tourism College) and Poltekpar Makassar (Makassar Tourism Polytechnic). The research method used is descriptive qualitative research that uses 2 types of instruments in data collection, namely observation and interviews. The results of the study revealed that the Ticket Reservation course at the two universities was held through contextual learning with direct and contextual learning models applied to the learning process in the classroom, while direct learning was used for the learning process in the laboratory. The use of two learning models is determined by two factors, namely instructional objectives and student conditions. Overall, these findings suggest that the use of contextual learning and direct learning creates a conducive learning atmosphere and provides space for lecturers to improvise following the real conditions that occur in the teaching and learning process and their teaching tendencies as well as for students to develop their potential independently.

Abstract

This research aims to apply animation video learning media as one of the alternative media in SMAN 1 Grogol. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research by applying Thiagarajan's 4D development model, including definition, design, development, and deployment. Design research using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The test subjects were students of class X IPS 1 SMAN 1 Grogol as many as 20 people. Data collection instruments using 1) material study and validation sheet, and media 2) student response questionnaire, 3) pretest and posttest questions. As for the results of the study obtained that: 1) the development of animation video learning media is declared feasible with the acquisition of 100% material validation percentage, and 100% media validation, 2) the results of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 95%, 3) the learner's learning results obtained a percentage of completion of 90%, the result is an increase from the pretest results that have a percentage of completion of 35% only. So that the media of animation video learning based on scientific approach in economic subjects is declared feasible, effective, practical, obtains a positive response, and can improve learning outcomes to be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of e-service quality and e-trust on Lazada consumers' buying interest on social media. The method used in this research is quantitative. The population in this study is Lazada consumers on social media. The number of samples used is 100 respondents who are Lazada consumers. The classical assumption test in this study consists of normality test, reliability test, validity test, normality test, multiple correlation analysis, multiple linear regression, T test and F test. The results of data processing are: (1) Partially e-service quality provides positive and significant influence on buying interest. (2) Partially, e-trust has a positive and significant effect on buying interest. (3) Simultaneously, e-service quality and e-trust have a positive and significant effect on buying interest.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa literasi ekonomi, gaya hidup dan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Penelitian tersebut menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dimana analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisa regresi linier berganda untuk analisa literasi ekonomi, gaya hidup dan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan tidak hanya analisis regresi linier berganda tetapi juga uji signifikansi melalui uji t, uji f dan uji koefisien determinan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan literasi ekonomi mempunyai pengaruh negatif signifikan, gaya hidup berpengaruh positif signifikan, kontrol diri tidak berpengaruh signifikan dan terdapat pengaruh secara bersama antara variabel literasi ekonomi, gaya hidup dan kontrol diri terhadap variabel perilaku konsumtif yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai F hitung 11,729 dan signifikansi 0,000 > 0,05. Dan ditunjukkan dari nilai R Square sebesar 0,395. Saat pandemi aktivitas berbelanja (online) produk (fashion) sangatlah meningkat. Hal tersebut menyebabkankan meningkatnya perilaku konsumtif pada mahasiswa. Sehingga perlu adanya faktor yang dapat meminimalisir perilaku konsumtif tersebut. Melalui literasi ekonomi, gaya hidup dan kontrol diri yang baik akan dapat meminimalisir perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa dalam berbelanja.

Abstract

This research is based on real conditions in the field, namely the low curiosity and analogy ability of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Bone, Campus 3 Kahu, through economics learning, especially in the subject of Introduction to Economics II, Taxation on the Basics of Social Sciences which has not used a scientifically assisted approach. puzzle learning media in the learning process. This type of research uses quantitative research with the type of research design, namely Quasi Experimental Design with the type of "Nonequivalent Control Group Design". Based on the results of the recapitulation of student scores in the experimental class, the average score was 76.92 and the control class was 57.41, which means that the value of the experimental class (with a scientific approach assisted by puzzle learning media) is higher than the control class (direct approach). Meanwhile, based on the SPSS output from the Independent Samples Test obtained by the researcher, it can be concluded that the statistical test in the t-test above uses two-tailed testing which can be concluded that the value of Sig. of 0.000 < 0.05 based on the decision rule of the t-test, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Abstract

This study aims to explore and find out in depth the learning of creative products and entrepreneurship in class XII students through the use of the business center at SMK PGRI Tegal City. The sources of information in this study were teachers of creative products and entrepreneurship, business center administrators, and 3 students of class XII of the Marketing Expertise Program. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed using a case study descriptive analysis technique with the stages of data collection, data analysis, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that learning creative products and entrepreneurship has taken advantage of the business center. Through the use of the business center, the entrepreneurial spirit of students grows to enter the business world. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that 1) For teachers, it is expected to be able to take full advantage of the school's business center facilities, 2) For School Leaders, school leaders are expected to evaluate the implementation of learning that occurs in schools, supervise the use of school facilities
