Abstract

One technique for forming facial animations on avatars is by reusing existing animations, either from other avatar animations or animations from motion data obtained using facial motion capture. This research focuses on the transformation of 3D space for the formation of facial animations on avatars in games or animated films. The transformation is carried out from motion capture data into a 3D avatar face model with 3 face models, namely the human face model, the swan face model and the anoman face model. The motion capture data is transferred according to the feature points of the face model. The results obtained by the facial model feature points will have animations that match the motion capture data. Of the 3 target face models used, the animation results with registration on the human face model have an average standard deviation is 0,0510. The goose face model has an average standard deviation is 0.0034 and the anoman face model has an average standard deviation is 0,0024. With this technique, it is hoped that the formation of facial expression animation on Avatar can be done more quickly because of the reuse of facial motion capture data.

Abstract

The people's market is a meeting place for sellers and buyers, which is indicated by direct transactions between sellers and buyers, either through kiosks, booths and open bases. Geographically, the information available at the Trade Office, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (DPKUKM) and Market regarding the situation and location of the market is not clear, there is no media used by the market to convey information and manage the market. The market head delivers information verbally to the agency. System development uses the waterfall method, blackbox method, actor feature functionality testing, and scenario testing. This research aims to make a website-based geographic information system can help facilitate the head of the market and offices in conveying market-related news information, as a promotional medium for each market in promoting it to visitors. The results of this system research can display market location information in the form of maps, existing facilities in the market and  pelapak maps.

Abstract

Mobile app or commonly known as an application on a smartphone is one of the businesses that is currently being developed by many people to meet human needs in many ways. Mobile apps are very widely used because they are easy and almost everyone in Indonesia already has a smartphone. Of the various applications made to facilitate human work, one of which is the application of inventory or storage and recording related to assets or goods that are very important in an organization or company so that in the development of their business they can be analyzed at any time. However, every application creation cannot be separated from testing the application to overcome errors that occur when the application is used. To overcome and look for bugs and errors contained in the application, a test was made on the storage application using the black box testing method with the boundary value analysis (BVA) technique. BVA is one of the tests to find errors in applications from the user's point of view by testing the limit values at the upper and lower limits with the stages of identifying problems, selecting test data, test data, testing using boundary value analysis and also documentation. The results of the study using boundary value analysis as a whole have a success percentage of the application after testing is 5:1 with a success rate of 83.33%.

Abstract

Alumnuses have a role in the college progress. one of the roles of alumnuses is that alumnuses provide input to college for mapping job market. Alumnuses inputs are obtained by college through tracer study at college career center. The Career Development Center (CDC) of the Cilacap State Polytechnic (PNC) conducts a tracer study process by sending a form link via short message to the group of alumnuses. The problem with this method is that the tracer study form can be filled out by everyone who has the link. On the other hand, the officer must re-enter the same list of questions for alumnuses in different years. This study aims to create a Career Development Center application that can help PNCs to monitor the distribution of alumnuses and help CDC disseminate job vacancy information. The method used in software development uses the waterfall method. At the software testing stage, the method used is blackbox testing. Based on the results of customer feedback, 30 respondents produced a very good predicate. The conclusion of this study, the development of the Career Development Center application can help spread alumni and help CDC disseminate job vacancies information to alumni.

Abstract

Supermarket shopping is an essential part of the livelihood of most people around the world. Consumers can acquire items essential for their daily activities. However, in an ever-evolving world with an increasing population and increasing crime rates, supermarket theft is becoming a prevalent problem with supermarket owners spending large sums of money on hiring security often with little effect. Organized Retail Crime (ORC) costs the retail industry approximately $30 billion each year, with 71.3% of retailers reporting an increase in ORC year-over-year. With the current global economic conditions, high labor costs are longer feasible. Consumers also face the issue of paying for items they did not select. Advanced camera systems, for some, may be an escape however, this approach is not feasible for all aspects of shopping and in underdeveloped countries that have technical constraints. The advent of digitization has helped improve the livelihood of consumers in Ghana. Currently, many large-scale retailers are oblivious to some of these advancements. The oblivion of the management of such retail services results in the loss of products, customer dissatisfaction, and the mismanagement of untracked products by employees. To reduce theft and the mismanagement of products by employees, a smart antitheft system should be deployed in supermarkets; at the till and before the exit of supermarkets to ensure all products leaving the store are paid for and accounted for. The system consists of a deactivation and theft detection system. The product is deactivated by the store attendant at the till when the customer pays for the product. However, if a customer crosses the initial warning zone without paying, a warning sound is triggered and after the customer crosses the final warning zone, the alarm is triggered indicating an attempted theft by the customer. A log of products is also kept ensuring employees are not stealing products. This paper presents a smart way of detecting theft during supermarket shopping using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) readers and tags, a microcontroller-based control system, a database server, and an Integromat.

Abstract

The development of technology today has greatly helped and facilitated human work. Almost everything can be associated with internet technology, especially in terms of business, such as on-demand services and marketplaces. PT. Come Solusi Bersama is a technology start-up company engaged in this business. So to simplify and expand the reach of its business, a mobile-based application is needed. With the Datangin Customer application, it will be easier for customers to order services/services that exist on Datangin. In making this mobile-based Datangin Customer application, of course, you have to go through the design stage. Both in terms of system and appearance design. Design thinking is especially useful when dealing with unclear or unknown problems, reframing problems in a human-centered way, brainstorming, using a hands-on approach to prototyping and testing, and trying different concepts and ideas. In this study, the author uses the Design Thinking method and tools in the form of Figma in solving existing problems. It is easier for customers to access the services available on Datangin, unlike before this application, and the interface is user-friendly, attractive, and interactive. Usability testing that the designed user interface can be accepted with a value of 83.33%

Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) tools and components has often been used in agriculture, plantations, and smart homes. One of the microcontroller components can take advantage of the Raspberry Pi because it is similar to a small computer. Another thing that makes web-based application development can take advantage of Rapid Application Development (RAD) because it is considered very flexible and can iterate on the design and development section where that section requires special focus due to the possibility of the same error. There are several studies related to utilizing website development to help in hospitals. However, the real problem is that technology such as clinical information websites has not been widely used for small clinics. This development website is supported by the location of the clinics, which are far from the urban center. The Others is supported by research on website development in clinics, not too many. So this study has a goal, namely the development of a website application with the help of a Raspberry Pi as a computer replacement medium (having wifi and a processor) which is applied to clinical LED TV because there is no computer to display it, and making the administration of the website itself tested by testing and evaluation using Black Box and User Acceptance Test (UAT). In testing and evaluation, it was found that 5 trials of Black Box testing got good results with all categories achieved. 71.06% of UAT results are included in the "Satisfied" category on the UAT test, where the best result is "Very Satisfied". Furthermore, research has not focused on the actual application of IoT and needs to be studied more deeply in making IoT integrated with the website.

Abstract

Face detection in digital photos aims to get the face area in the photo. Problems often occur when detecting faces, namely there is a lot of noise in digital photos so that it affects the detection process. Therefore, in this study apply the median filtering method to improve digital photos by reducing noise in the photos to be tested. The advantage of using this filter is to keep the edges smooth while reducing noise which aims to improve image quality. The ability of this method is measured using the parameters of Mean Square Error (MSE) and Peak Noise to Signal Ratio (PNSR). When the MSE value obtained is low and the PNSR value obtained is high, the results can be said to be good. The method used to detect faces in this research, viola-jones, was chosen because it is one of the face detection procedures with a high level of accuracy and good computational ability. The sample used in this study consisted of 10 digital photos taken using a Samsung A11 smartphone camera with a resolution of 13 mega pixels and 8 mega pixels in JPEG format. The results obtained in this study are the best error values in MSE 0.9517 and PSNR 24.2804. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the mean filtering method is feasible to be used in the case of face detection in this digital photo.
