Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) to describe the planning of academic supervision by supervising school supervisory technique periodically at Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of math teacher in designing HOTS-based questions; (2) to describe the implementation of academic supervision by regular supervision of school supervisor at Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of mathematics teacher in designing HOTS-based questions; (3) to describe the evaluation of academic supervision by regular supervision of school supervisors at Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of math teachers in HOTS-based problem-solving; (4) to describe the supporting factors and factors inhibiting the implementation of academic supervision by regular supervision of school supervisors in Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of math teachers in the design of HOTS-based questions; and (5) to describe solution or effort to overcome the obstacle factor of the implementation of academic supervision by regular supervision of school supervisor on Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City to improve the ability of math teacher in designing HOTS based problems. The research method used to examine the problem is qualitative descriptive method. This qualitative research procedure follows a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral words of persons and observable behavior. Research Sites at Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City based in Senior High School of Vocational State Number 2 in Bengkulu city. In this study, the subjects studied were the active members of Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City, which amounted to about 20 of mathematics teachers of Senior High School of Vocational subjects throughout the city of Bengkulu. Based on the results of the study and discussion focused it can be concluded that the technical supervision of school supervisors on a regular basis in Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City was able to improve the ability of math teachers in designing problems based on HOTS in the school year 2016/2017. With the technical supervision of school supervisors on a regular basis at the Mathematics Teacher Organization of Bengkulu City was able to contribute to improving the ability of math teachers in designing HOTS-based questions according to rules and procedures required.

Abstract

Creativity is an important role in the education of Fashion Education because only creative individuals can produce creative ideas and products. The Fashion Education has to perform its function for the formation of character, work culture, personality, skill, knowledge, behavior and various life skill according to the demands of work world. Fashion Education is still not maximized in developing the creativity of students, especially the ability to think creatively in solving the problems of daily life that it faces. For that required the creativity of educators to foster student creativity. Student creativity will emerge, if the teacher as a pilot in the classroom also has adequate creativity. The subject matter that has been prepared in the syllabus, should be well developed to achieve the predetermined educational objectives. The development of creativity can be done with brainstorming learning, giving motivation, bringing creative people to school and not limit the student excessively by directing students to express and actualize themselves in relation to oneself, to nature, and to others.

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is to: (1) describe mathematics learning in simple matter of powers and roots in grade V elementary school students of State 2 South Bengkulu by applying 'Paper and Nokrumtul' props; and (2) to describe the effectiveness of the Implementation of 'Paper and Nokrumtul' Toolkit on Improving Learning Outcomes of Simple Departments and Roots to Grade V Students in elementary school students of State 2 South Bengkulu. The location of this class action research activity is at elementary school State number 2 South Bengkulu. Students who are the subject of this study are students in class V with the number of 20 people consisting of 12 men of gender and 8 others came from the female sex, all students as subjects of this study will be subject to action in accordance with the flow real learning. From the results of learning activities that have been done for two cycles, and based on all the discussion and analysis that has been done can be concluded that the learning by applying the props "Paper and Nokrumtul" has a positive impact in improving student learning outcomes in class V elementary school students of State 2 South Bengkulu which is marked by the improvement of student learning outcomes in each cycle, the average value of student learning outcomes reached 78.75 with 80% learning completeness in cycle I and average learning outcomes reached 86.25 with 100% complete learning in cycle II . Implementation of learning with props "Paper and Nokrumtul" in the math lessons also have a positive influence, which can increase the motivation of students. Thus the application of learning through props "Paper and Nokrumtul" proved effective to improve learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Based on the observation that had done, it was known that the power teacher of SMK Negeri Kota Solok was stiil low. The aim of this research were to reveal the contribution of leadership of formal school climate toward the teachers performance. This research proposed three hypotheses: 1). There was contribution of leadership of formal toward the teachers performance, 2). There was contribution of school climate and toward the teachers performance and 3). There was contribution of leadership of formal and school climate toward the teachers performance. The population were 120 teachers of SMK Negeri 1 and 40 of SMK Negeri 3 Kota Solok. The sample were 60 teachers. This research used simple random sampling technique. The data were gathered by using Likert scale questionnaires whose validity and realiability had been tested. There result of the research revealed that 1). There was contribution of personal leadership of formal toward teachers performance (21,71 %):2): There was contribution of school climate toward teachers performance (12,32 %): and 3) There was contribution of personal leadership of formal and school climate toward teachers performance (10,32 %). These facts show that increase the teachers performance one should increase leadership of formal and school climate without neglecting other factors.

Abstract

The aim of the class room research was to find out activity and learning achievement can increase to use Explicit Instruction method. The population of this research was all of 36 student in class X AK-5 Senior High School Solok City. All student is population of this research by using total sampling technique. The data were analyzed through percentace. It was found that activity and learning achievement can increase to use use Explicit Instruction method.

Abstract

The study was designed : 1) Identify creative teaching materials. 2) Understanding of social science at Taluk elementary school, 3) formulating the concept of IPS by using educational games in elementary school as an effort to improve the quality of learning outcomes and characteristics of students. (4) increasing the creativity of teachers in attracting the students' attention to learn social science. Technique of collecting data is book review. The results of the data analysis show: (1) The purpose of social science develops the potential of students' attitudes, knowledge and skills in learning social knowledge (2) develops creative social knowledge with educational games in school one way teachers attract students to learn social knowledge.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the 4 ℎ rade students’ integrated thematic learning process by using the problem based learning model. The design of the research was class action research using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects were the teacher and the 4 ℎ grade students. The research result shows that there are some improvement. The score of the lesson plan increased from 91.66% (excellent) in cycle I to 94.44% (excellent) in cycle II. In term of the teacher’s aspect, the score enhanced from 75% (good) in cycle I to 90% (exellent) in cycle II. Meanwhile, in term of student’s aspect, the score also increased from 70% (good) in cycle I to 87.5% (exellent) in cycle II.

Abstract

Learning outcomes of students of class X marketing SMK Negreri 1 Pelepat Ilir on the subject Making Agreement Through Negotiation of basic competence 3.10 Evaluating the submission, quote and agreement in oral and written negotiation text in Lesson Year 2017/2018 after analyzed has low result, this is allegedly because the approach learning at that time is not right, then in this class research used approach learning Discovery Learning which emphasize concept learn discovery of data, process data hinga make conclusion. The issues that will be discussed are whether the Indonesian language learning subject makes agreement through negotiation of basic competence 3.10 Evaluating the submission, quote and agreement in oral and written negotiation text with discovery learning approach can increase? While the purpose of this research to find out the improvement of student learning outcomes with the model of discovery learning approach. The location of this research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Pelepat Ilir, Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo District, Jambi. The type of research to be carried out in this study is classroom action research. The result of learning discovery learning method can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Counseling guidance strategy is a series of activities that are arranged systematically that are tailored to the needs and problems of students. This activity is done to help clients overcome the problems that happen to cause rational thinking as the impact of good emotional intelligence. The purpose of this study is to describe describe the condition of students' emotional intelligence and counseling guidance strategy in developing the emotional intelligence of learners in SMP NEGERI 1 PELEPAT ILIR. This study focuses on the results of observations, documents and interviews of informants selected purposively. Deductive analysis is used to test the theory with facts obtained in the field.

Abstract

The development of learning in the classroom plays an important role in efforts to develop character, moral values, and student learning outcomes. Development efforts must be carried out in a continuous manner, paying attention to the needs of students in learning. This paper aims to describe the learning strategy of citizenship education (PKN) for junior high school students to instill moral values in education, which will later be used as a further step in conducting classroom action research in school, especially in junior high school.
