Abstract

In this study, the problem raised is the low motivation of learners in the learning of Physical Education of Sport And Health where in SMP Kartika I-7 Padang are many students that are not serious in doing sports activities which are taught and there is also a fear scolded by the teacher, so that Learners follow the sport with forced. The type of this research is descriptive, and it is with the student population of 496 people. Sampling technique is Stratified Proportional Random Sampling, where sample is taken at 10% of each class strata, obtained sample of 50 people. The instrument used for data collection is by questionnaire distribution on selected respondents. The research questions are: 1) How big is the intrinsic motivation of learners to the learning of Physical Education of Sport And Health in SMP Kartika I-7 Padang Timur. 2) How big is it the extrinsic motivation of learners toward the Physical Education of Sport And Health learning in SMP Kartika I-7 Padang Timur. The analysis data using descriptive statistics with frequency tabulation. Based on the results of the analysis can be concluded that the research shows that the intrinsic motivation is obtained with the achievement rate of 74.5%. This means that the intrinsic motivation which the learners have on the learning of Physical Education of Sport And Health is in a good category. As for the extrinsic motivation is obtained with a level of achievement of 67.8% that is categorized well. Thus, the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations of the learners are in good category. To obtain a level of achievement is categorized very well need to be increased their motivation, both from within the learners (intrinsic) and those coming from outside the learners (extrinsic).

Abstract

Plastic waste is the main problem that we face in Indonesia and still there is no appropriate way to solve it. Indonesia is ranked in number two as the country that throwing plastic waste to the sea. The common solution that mostly developed is by using recovery method, which is recycling the materials or compounds that exist in trash even it is physically, chemically, biologically or thermally. In this case it is needed a prototype for recovery system in changing trash into electrical energy. A prototype named TOMPEL (basket case generating electrical energy) has its function besides the place to put trashes but also has its function as converting tools to convert energy from plastic combustion into electrical energy with thermoelectricity system. The output is DC electricity that converts into AC electricity so it can be used after that. Based on experiment that has been done, the conclusion is effective plastic mass is 200 gram with outer voltage 10 volt by using glass wool as isolator. The voltage can recharge power in mobile phone. Moreover, solid waste is transformed into bricket.

Abstract

The quality of education remains a central issue amidst the polemic of the education system in Indonesia. Educational goals that initially emphasize changes in behavior and mindset shift to value-oriented, graduation and even prestige. This has implications for graduates who are weak in self character, not ready to plunge into society and easily fragile to accept failure. Many individuals have high intelligence, but low in emotional and adversity quotient. For that, it is very important for students in improving and managing adversity quotient so that students will be more resilient in facing the problem and academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of learning motivation and student interest based on the background of the school are students who graduated from high school and vocational school graduates in the mathematics course II of the student learning outcomes are known from the Study Results Sheet (LHS) students. The research method used is quantitative research using expost facto approach. Population in this research is PGSD student of Bung Hatta University class of 2016. The sample was taken as many as 40 students covering 20 students with background from high school and 20 students from school background from SMK. The value of learning motivation and student learning interest obtained from the questionnaire and the value of student learning outcomes obtained from LHS. . Meanwhile, to know the effect of motivation on the results of study used F-test data analysis techniques. In the hypothesis test obtained that high school graduate student obtained F value is 3.603 with probability 0.048 <0.05. Because probabiltasnya less than 0.05 then H0 rejected means there is influence of learning motivation and interest in learning on high school graduate students. For students of SMK graduates obtained the value of F = 0.784 with probability 0.473> 0.05 then H0 accepted means there is no influence of motivation and interest in learning on students who graduate SMK

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is influence the way teachers teach, the use of learning facilities and student learning motivation on the results of learning IPS Integrated students of class VII SMPN 1 Natar Lampung Selatan Lesson 2015/2016. The research method used in this research is descriptive verification with Ex Post Facto and Survey approach. The population in this study were all students of grade VII SMPN 1 Natar Lampung Selatan totaling 366 students with a sample size of 188 students, taken with random sampling sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. To test the hypotheses one, two, and three using a simple linear regression model and the fourth hypothesis using multiple regression models. Based on the data analysis, the research results show that: 1) .The influence of the way of teaching teacher to the learning result of IPS Integrated student of class VII SMPN 1 Natar Lampung Selatan Lesson Year 2015/2016. 2). There is influence of learning tool to study result of IPS Integrated student of class VII Accounting SMPN 1 Natar Lampung Selatan Lesson Year 2015/2016. 3). There is influence of student's learning motivation to result of study of IPS Integrated student of class VII SMPN 1 Natar Lampung Selatan Lesson Year 2015/2016. 3) .The influence of the way teachers teach, the use of learning facilities and student learning motivation on the learning outcomes IPS Integrated students class VII SMPN 1 Natar Lampung Selatan Lesson 2015/2016.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out how the Physical Education of Sport And Health teacher at the State Elementary School in Mukomuko District Mukomuko in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning activities in accordance to the curriculum 2013. This research is a qualitative research. The population of this research is the teacher of Physical Education of Sport And Health at the State Elementary School in Mukomuko which is registered in academic year 2016/2017, and they implement the Curriculum 2013 totaling 7 people. The sampling technique of this research is total sampling. Instrument to obtain data that is used in Semi-structured Interview that give question to responden more openly. Analysis data techniques used are reduction techniques, display, and data verification. Planning of learning activities conducted by the teacher from preparing RPP, syllabus, mastering the teaching materials, and completing the material as a book. RPP and syllabus is prepared by teachers in KKGO activities conducted every month. But there are some teachers who use RPP in the previous school year by updating the delivery method and not deviating from the curriculum. Implementation of learning activities are conducted by Physical Education of Sport And Health teacher with classroom management, learning strategies, and the use of teaching media. In the use of teacher strategy of Physical Education of Sport And Health is still glued by the commonly used methods of lectures and practices. Evaluation of Learning Activities are conducted by teacher of Physical Education of Sport And Health at public elementary school in the sub-district of Mukomuko by preparing the first KI and KD in the RPP. The assessment uses three predetermined aspects, namely attitude, knowledge, and skills. However, there are Physical Education of Sport And Health teacher who still use aspects of assessment based on KTSP that are cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of two beat kick technique exercises on the 50 meter freestyle. This study was conducted on FIK UNP students who took the basic swimming pool semester january-juny 2008 which amounted to 40 people. Sampling technique was done as many as 20 students students using purposive sampling technique, that is as needed by the researcher. Two beat kick tech data retrieved from 50 meters freestyle test. Two beat kick tech data retrieved from 50 meters freestyle test. Before starting the exercise is done preliminary test (prestest). Being treated in an exercise program with two beat kick techniques for 16 meetings / exercises. The last data is taken by performing the final test (postest). Testing requirements analysis and testing of research hypothesis using data normality test and t-test with significance level α 0,05. From testing the requirements analysis can be obtained the results of normal distributed data training techniques two beat kick with Lcount 0.1279 <Ltable 0.190. From hypothesis testing by using t-test, where tcount 10.8421 and ttable 1.729 which means tcount > ttable there is significant effect of two beat kick technique exercises against 50 meter freestyle freestyle. From the mean technique training obtained two beat kick for pretest time 48.62 and postest 47.59, It can be concluded the two beat kick exercise technique can improve the results of 50 meter freestyle freestyle.

Abstract

Learning by applying the inquiry learning model based on science technologi society able to improve student achievement of Class X SMK N I Merbau Mataram in the subject of Civic Education. Improvement of student achievement is obtained from the evaluation conducted by researchers and collaborators. The results are seen in pre cycles of achievement learning that reached 64.3 increased to 68, 52 on cycle I, and 76, 03 on cycle II. In the pre cycle students who are passed reached 4 students (13%). In the first cycle, the passed students increased to 14 (46%), while in cycle II increased to 26 passed students (89%).

Abstract

Based on observations, that the problem is: the limited availability of the book and yet Machining and Fabrication Techniques module, causing the learning process is not maximized. The research objective to describe the learning outcomes using the modules on the course Theory Fabrication Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering University of Padang and determine the effect of learning by using modules for learning outcomes on the eye Lecture Machining and Fabrication Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. Subjects were students of Mechanical Engineering FT-UNP who take courses Mechanical Machining and Fabrication. The type of data in this study are primary data obtained directly from students are taken through a questionnaire. Instrument data collectors questionnaire form. Based on the findings of this study concluded that the use of this fabrication technique Theory module effectively to improve learning outcomes, evidenced by higher average results of experimental class learning with classroom control D3 students of Mechanical Engineering are taking courses in Mechanical Fabrication.

Abstract

The results of the TIMSS study show that Indonesia's rank in mathematics is still low, especially in the cognitive domain of reasoning. This is due to Indonesian students are less accustomed to solve math problems that have a high complexity which demands reasoning skills such as TIMSS problem. The use of context in the exercise of mathematical problems is exactly precise because it is useful in the formation of concepts, access and motivation towards mathematics, modeling, providing tools for thinking using procedures, notations, drawings and rules, reality as the source and application domain, and specific skills training In certain situations. One of contexts that can be used is culture. Mathematics in essence grows from the skill or activity of the cultural environment, so that the mathematics of a person is influenced by his cultural background. This study aims to see the potential effects generated by the problem of specially designed reasoning with the TIMSS problem and using the Lampung cultural context. From the results of the research shows the problems are able to attract interest, motivate and foster the seriousness of students to solve the problem. In addition, these problems are able to elicit students' mathematical reasoning skills, lure students to think harder, more thoroughly, and reason using logic in solving problems.
