Abstract

The objective of the research is to analyze the impact of double-parking stand nose-in order to improve the smoothness of aircraft movement. The method was performed through a qualitative descriptive data sourced from air traffic movement and unscheduled. The results showed that in the absence of double nose-in parking stand as well as the south apron used as a passenger terminal apron can load the entire amount of traffic arrival and departure. Thus, the parking stand at the north and south apron can be according to the standards that have a positive impact on the safety and smoothness of air traffic. It was therefore recommended that the north and south apron as the passenger terminal apron so that the regularity of air movement can be achieved.

Abstract

Introduction and learning about navigation equipment ADS-B was very important to increase the knowledge of cadet of CASEA Makassar about how ADS-B works and its display on the monitor. The purposed of this design was to produce a design that would display the interface of ADS-B in real time as a media to increase knowledge, prove that RADAR is not the only equipment thatt could determine the position of an aircraft but there was also another equipment called ADS-B. Using RTL1090 application and Virtual Radar Server, which was installed in a PC/laptop, made this design. It also uses USB shaped RTL820T module as receiver. The result of this design was that cadet could learn the display of ADS-B on the PC/laptop monitor screen which was available in the classroom or laboratory even though it’s not as real as the original ADS-B, this design could display the surveillance system that was not very different from the real or original one.

Abstract

The need of public transportation is one of the communities needs that continue to grow in line with the increasing standard of economic life community. It shown on the role which the help movement accelaeration of information, goods, passengers, and especially in the tourism sector in order to attract tourists both domestic and foreign. of the three types of transportation that is land, sea, and air, by using air transportation is the right choice for the effectiveness and time efficiency, because it can be a solution of the problem of distance traveled in a relatively short time. The aim of this research is to find out how much the level of flight frequency and the volume of movement of airplane passengers at Blimbingsari Airport, Banyuwangi. This research is a non-experimental study, in the form of case studies of air traffic services, using descriptive and quantitative methods through the study of passenger movement data and the movement of commercial aircraft at the Blimbingsari airport in Banyuwangi. In this research, descriptive analysis contains data on the movement of commercial airplanes and passengers which occurred at Banyuwangi Airport in the period 2013-2018. Descriptive analysis of the results of the study can be known from observations of the data obtained during the study.

Abstract

The problem of transportation is one of the problems faced in Depok, especially at intersections. Problems of traffic congestion and conflicts often occur at signalized intersections, especially at the intersection of four signalized Depok Depok City where one of the efforts made to reduce conflicts in Depok intersection is done by setting the intersection. The methods used in the analysis of the performance of the intersection is the use of calculation on IHCM, while the traffic conflict analysis to determine the level of seriousness of traffic conflicts is by using traffic conflict Technique (TCT) is compared to that conflict VisSim 10.Recommendation is done by using a scheme using a 3-phase elections and 3.5 phase and then make a comparison with the third phase (existing) and selected the most appropriate scenario. From the scheme of recommendations that were made by using the software PTV VISSIM 10 obtained the most appropriate scheme that uses three-phase arrangement. The results of the simulation phase 3 was effective at reducing the number of traffic conflicts and service levels are still in good condition.

Abstract

The research aims to design the development of schedule information systems Flights that provide real time information based on the presence of an in-flight aircraft to the user, and generate an information system of flight schedules that are in fact that can provide time information of the aircraft appropriately. Designing the development of flight schedule information system is using UML (Univ (data flow diagram) and designing its application is using mobile technology with the utilization of webservices/API to access flight schedule and Weather information. The departure schedule is a JSON file obtained from the FIDS website of Makassar Hasanuddin Airport, while the weather information of the original airport and the airport passenger's destination is obtained from the Open Wheater API.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the correlation among the intelligence and the academic achievement of the Cadet in the life of ship simulation on campus BP2IP Tangerang. This research is a quantitative study with Taruna BP2IP Tangerang as the sample of the research. By using random sampling technique. Data collection is using surveys. Data analysis is using a Likert scale.The results of the research show that there is a partial direct positive influence on the intelligence of Taruna's academic achievement in the life simulation of the ship at BP2IP Tangerang Campus.

Abstract

FWG (freshwater generator) can produce fresh water that can be used for drinking water, cooking, washing and even using for other important machines which use fresh water as a cooling medium. FWG fresh water is produced using the evaporation method. So, this fresh water is produced by evaporation of sea air using heat from one heat source. So, in order to produce clean water at 70 degrees we need to reduce atmospheric pressure, which is done by creating a vacuum in the space where evaporation takes place. Also, as a result of packaging from seawater evaporating at lower temperatures, the water will be cooled and collected then transferred to a tank. At this time most ships use the method, reverse osmosis which is one of the methods used on the deck to produce fresh water.

Abstract

Wing in Surface Effect (WiSE) aircraft are airplanes that fly-cruises only a few meters above sea level, using surface effects. WiSE-8 is a transportation facility that will be operated in sea waters in several regions in Indonesia. If it refers to the rules of the air transportation system issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the rules of the sea transportation system of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the supporting equipment that must be available is radio communication and navigation equipment in a predetermined frequency range. One of the navigation systems that WiSE will use is a satellite-based navigation system, the Global Positioning System (GPS). At present, the GPS can still be used freely and only requires a GPS receiver. If one day its use will be limited it will also lose the freedom of the use of the GPS. Therefore this research is focused on the application of navigation systems that will be used by WiSE-8 based terrestrial navigation equipment. The terrestrial navigation system for WiSE-8 is using the Directional Finder (DF) system. This system provides information in the form of bearings relative to a radio station transmitting on land, with the accuracy of this system is 1o. So the level of error estimation of the smallest position on the Dumai-Batam route using 2 signals of a radius of 1.4037 NM. The estimated error rate of the position will be even greater if the target receives only one beam signal

Abstract

LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service) is an activity unit that manages all research and community service activities carried out by teachers in improving the quality of these supervisors. At this time research or service data is still managed manually by using the Microsoft Excel application as well as Word. This requires inefficient time when manipulating data to make a report. Delete this with a recording model like this can also be moved because of mistakes either intentional or unintentional. The purpose of this study is to build a computer-based information system that can be used to facilitate the performance of the PPM Center in organizing the results of PPM activities. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, a series of activities or processes to reveal in-depth information processes that are used as a basis in designing information systems. The results of this research concluded that: (a) this information system can be used as a system that monitors research and service activities, and the absorption of research funds. (b) processing research data more efficiently and can be accessed anywhere and anytime because it is designed using responsive frameworks

Abstract

The JT8D-15 Engine is a turbofan-type gas turbine engine as a medium practice for cadets in conducting checks and maintenance. Due to the absence of front accessory support device for JT8D -15 engines in Hangar 01 Air aircraft Engineering study Program the author made a front accessory support release tool for JT8D -15 engines. An overview of removing front accessory support on JT8D -15 engines with the withdrawal method utilizes the load applied by the sled hammer. The first is to ensure that the design of the tool is able to be used in front accessory support engine JT8D -15, followed by the appropriate material selection in the design. The third stage was performed selection of cylinder screw and hammer muzzle shaft. Thus obtained the desired design dimension. And lastly, ensure that welding joints can withstand the voltage of the scissors that occur on a specific tool design. The results of this design are expected to assist in the implementation of Taruna practice on Gasturbine engine practice when releasing front accessory support engine JT8D -15. From the design achieved a strong design and can remove front accessory support engine JT8D -15.
