Abstract

History of science (HoS), nature of science (NoS), and philosophy of science (PoS) are three fundamental concepts in science and physics education. Specifically, this research explored ten years of research of HoS based on the Scopus database through a bibliometric study. The findings indicated some points: the number of articles in 2011-2020 tended to be stable. Sears dominated research on HoS as the top author. Meanwhile, Isis, Science & Education, and Nature were the top sources of research. The USA was a dominant country in researching HoS, followed by UK and Germany. Paper from Tewksbury et al. in the Journal of Bioscience has gained the most citations. Researchers on the world produced four clusters: historian along centuries, HoS in relating to philosophy and nature of science, HoS in connecting with timeline each country along years, and HoS in relating to university and relevant project. The researchers have also offered an advanced research model related to HoS.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the influences of college sports activities on developing purpose of college students. The main objectives of this study is to identify the influences of college sports activities on developing purpose of college students and to compare the influences of individual and team sports activities on developing purpose of college student. The population of the study consisted of all students N= 749 participating in sports activities at college level in Bannu Division, while sample of the study consisted of students n= 150 at college level in Bannu Division. Influences of sports activities on developing purpose of college students were measured by self-developed questionnaires. SPSS-26 was used for data analysis. Multiple regressions was used to measure the influences of sports activities on developing purpose of college student, t-tests were used to identify significant differences between the influences of individual and team games on developing purpose of college student. This study showed that students develop their purpose of life in college and sports activities provide a dynamic environment in this regard. Statistically significant evidence is found from the data that students developed an academics purpose along with life purpose during college sports activities more significantly.

Abstract

The modern science that we have and learn today is written in the Qur’an. The Qur'an has shown humans about its comprehensive and global miracles because the Qur'an remains in accordance with the latest developments that humans have achieved until today. This study aims to examine the quantum theory of annihilation in the story of teleportation and transfer of the throne of queen balqis. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method in a literature study by analyzing related books and journals. The results show that the teleportation and displacement of the Queen Balqis Throne can be approached by explaining the quantum theory of Annihilation. The quantum theory of Annihilation relates to Teleportation and the transfer of the throne of Queen Balqis, but many questions still arise. That is, the quantum theory of Annihilation is not sufficient to explain the transfer of the throne of Queen Balqis. However, in terms of data suitability, the quantum annihilation theory is appropriate and rational with moving the throne of Queen Balqis.

Abstract

In general, physics has been widely spread well in everyday life, one of which is used as a concept in holiday destinations in Indonesia. In East Java, Jatim Park group has been established by a combination of education and entertainment, resulting in the concept of learning while playing. Jawa Timur Park 1 is one of the eduparks in Indonesia with the first playground in the East Java area, especially Batu City. This research aims to analyze the use of circular motion physics concepts on Sky Swinger, Superloop Coaster, Enterprise, Tornado and Pendulum 360 in Jawa Timur Park 1, Batu. Research is carried out using literature study methods by outlining the problems discussed clearly and in detail related to the concepts of physics contained in the game rides. The data collection method used in this study used review and observation journals. Observation is done using social media in the form of Youtube. In this study, it was concluded that in the Pendulum 360, Sky Swinger, Enterprise, Tornado, and Superloop Coaster Rides at Jatim Park 1 Batu there is a physical concept in the form of circular motion, and there is centripetal force, centrifugal force, and centripetal acceleration.

Abstract

Ability Self-regulated learning and independent learning are needed for humans throughout their life. However, the students of SMP Sunan Ampel Porong do not yet have optimal learning independence. the study aims to improve self-regulated learning and increase the learning independence of Sunan Ampel Porong Junior High School students in online learning situations during the Covid-19, through the application of Self-Regulated Learning. This research uses experimental research, the method used is quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of sixty-nine students of SMP Sunan Ampel Porong with two classes, the experimental class, and the control class. Data on self-regulated learning and learning independence of students were collected using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and document scrutiny techniques guidance instruments self-regulated learning. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quantitatively. Based on the post-test t-test of the ability Self Regulated Learning, it is known that the average learning outcomes of the experimental class are greater than that of the control class. From the table, it is known that the value of t count > t table. achievement scores' self-regulated learning in the experimental class and the control class. While the post-test t-test of learning independence of the experimental class is known to have an average learning outcome of the experimental class is greater than that of the control class. From the table, it is known that the value of t count > t table. It can be concluded that there are significant differences in the scores of students' independent learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class.

Abstract

Edutainment can simply be defined as a learning designed by combining educational content with entertainment. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the physics concepts contained in several rides at the Batu Night Spectacular (BNS) amusement park. This research uses a qualitative approach and is a case study. The data collection technique used is documentation in the form of images or articles on online media. There are three rides analyzed, namely Flying Swinger, Megamix, and Gravitron. From the data and the results of the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that, Flying Swinger, Megamix, and Gravitron work based on the concept of force or having the concept of force on them. The forces that were analyzed on the three rides were centripetal force, centrifugal force, gravitational force, frictional force, and string tension force

Abstract

This study aims to show that learning physics or understanding physics concepts is not only done in the classroom, but can be done outside the classroom even at fun playgrounds. The methods used are field case studies and literature case studies. In this study, it can be concluded that learning physics or understanding physics concepts is not only done in the classroom, but can be done outside the classroom even at fun playgrounds such as the centripetal force on the Ferris wheel and merry-go-round as well as the concept of simple harmonic motion on the Kora rides. -kora. Exploration of physics concepts on game vehicles can be an innovation in learning when students are getting bored in learning physics in theory, teachers can connect physics materials and concepts with game vehicles around us or even if possible can invite students to study outside the classroom so that learning can take place. become more meaningful, fun and easy to remember by students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concepts of physics in electric scooters, solar panel street lights, and water heaters as physics teaching materials. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with literature study. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of observation and documentation. Observation is done by observing directly and then documented. The data analysis technique used is to perform data reduction and then draw conclusions. The results obtained are the concepts related to scooters, solar panel street lights, and water heaters are the principles of energy conversion, direct electricity, and heat. In an electric scooter, energy conversion occurs from electrical energy into motion energy, a solar panel street light converts solar energy into electrical energy, and a water heater converts electrical energy into heat energy. That way, it can be an alternative teaching material in learning with concrete examples in the surrounding environment. So that it can make the learning process more meaningful.
