Jurnal Kepariwisataan Indonesia : Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kepariwisataan Indonesia diterbitkan dua nomor dalam setahun yaitu setiap bulan Juni dan Desember oleh Direktorat Kajian Strategis, Deputi Bidang Kebijakan Strategis, Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/ Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Jurnal Kepariwisataan Indonesia memuat hasil-hasil penelitian baik secara empiris, pengembangan teori, kajian, serta pemikiran dalam bidang kepariwisataan yang memenuhi kaidah ilmiah. Fokus dan ruang lingkup jurnal meliputi : 1. Abstract

Pariwisatatidak hanya  membawa dampak bagi destinasi wisata akan tetapi berupa pengaruh arus globalisasi bagi masysrakat setempat khususnya generasi muda. Akulturasi menyebabkan nilai-nilai tradisional  mulai tergerus dengan adanya modernisasi. Hal tersebut terjadi di Desa Tibubeneng  yang  industri pariwisatanya sedang berkembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran pemuda dan faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam kegiatan pengembangan pariwisata di Tibubeneng. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Infoman pada penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang yang merupakan anggota karang taruna Desa Tibubeneng. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 91% yaitu 32 orang pemuda berperan secara langsung dan 9% yaitu 3 orang  pemuda tidak berperan dalam pengembangan pariwisata di Desa Tibubeneng. Pemuda menggambil peran sebagai subyek yang aktif turun langsung dalam kegiatan dan menerima manfaat langsung. Pemuda berperan dalam kegiatan pariwisata antara lain kegiatan keagamaan, pertunjukan seni dan event. Faktor utama yang memperngaruhi pemuda untuk beperan dalam berbagi kegiatan adalah adanya kesempatan dari desa.

Abstract

Utilizing the Tourism Potential Market Matrix (PPP) which is a modification of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix, this study resulted in a mapping of the prospects of the domestic tourist market in Indonesia. From this study, it was identified the market potential that besides on the ability of a provinces to produce the number of trips for domestic tourists, and  also has the potential of the prospect of spending while traveling. There are 5 Provinces which are included in the most potential market quadrant in the development of domestic tourist because they have a high average income, and the high on travel propensity, namely: Bangka Belitung Islands, DKI Jakarta, Riau Islands, North Sulawesi and DI Yogyakarta. These provinces can be optimized by other provinces to be developed as a tourism market, so that they are expected to bring quality tourists.

Abstract

Ha Long Bay is one of eminent tourist destinations in Vietnam. This destination has been attaining international recognition for its landscape beauty and uniqueness, besides its  geological values inside the region. There has been an increasing number on tourist arrivals since Ha Long Bay declared as UNESCO Heritage Sites in 1994. However, the increasing of tourist visitors teamed with some problematic issues related to environment and certain conflicts between tourism and protection to natural heritage. This paper discussed the issues and government efforts to manage Ha Long Bay tourist destination. Research Method used is qualitative and descriptive data analysis. Data sources derived from primary and secondary data. The result of the research shows that Vietnamese Government has issued Strategy on Vietnam?s Tourism Development until 2020, Vision to 2030 and Vietnam?s Sustainable Development Strategy for 2011-2020. Ha Long Bay Management Board becomes the leading sector in Ha Long Bay management, which has been doing partnership with international organizations, involving local government, private sectors and local communities. These become an important point for the implementation of Action Plan for Preservation of the Ha Long Bay Heritage, to achieve quality tourism and sustainability of Ha Long Bay environment.

Abstract

Heritage is one of the attractions in cultural tourism. The city of Bandung is known as a heritage city because it inherits various heritage buildings. A form in heritage conservation is through tourism. One of the stakeholders who use the heritage building for tourism is community. The example of the stakeholder is Historical Trips. Nowadays, heritage tourism is increasingly in demand, both by domestic tourists and international tourists. However, tourists' knowledge of cultural heritage buildings after attending heritage tours held by community is unknown. The purposes of this study are to find out the characteristics of Historical Trips? users, find out the typology of tourists who took Explore Logeweg Tour and analyze tourist knowledge of cultural heritage buildings in the central area of ??Bandung. Based on the result and discussion of the research, the conclusions of this study are the characteristics of Historical Trips? users who joined Explore Logeweg are female, aged 31-50 years, work as private employees with undergraduate education, unmarried and from Bandung city. The typologies of cultural tourists who take part in the Explore Logeweg Tour held by the Historical Trips are the purposeful cultural tourist, the sightseeing cultural tourist, the serendipitous cultural tourist, and the casual cultural tourist. Tourists who attended Explore Logeweg Tour have enough and good knowledge of cultural heritage buildings in the central area of ??Bandung. The level of their knowledge is at the level of knowing and understanding (comprehension).

Abstract

Indonesia has enormous tourism potential. This potential is spread throughout almost all regions of Indonesia. However, until now Indonesian tourism is only synonymous with Bali. Development of other destinations besides Bali (non-Bali destinations) has begun to take place in almost all parts of Indonesia due to the economic potential of tourism which can drive the region's economy. Although not as many as Bali, foreign tourists have visited non-Bali destinations. This proves that non-Bali destinations also have the potential to be developed due to tourism demand from tourists. Abstract

ROS is a framework for identifying places of interest. In ROS there are three criteria that are the parameters of experience, environment, location and examples of activities. The measurements of the ROS parameters yield 5 classes ranging from Easily Accessible to Remote Area. . The problem found was tourism marine activities from diving, snorkeling and intentional fishing  affecting the quality and the ecosystem existence. This study will review the recreational zone  which is not contrary to the principles of marine area management. It is expected that  the identification of zoning in the form of marine tourism spectrum classes beside tourism activitie plan using parameters in ROS will make the ??Tanjung Kelayang area becoming a tourist area not only attracts tourists but also becoming more sustainable. This research uses a descriptive method with qualitative approach (1) describes the potential of Tanjung Kelayang marine tourism area based on Main Attraction, Depth and Air, Latitude and Access. Then after that (2) an analysis with ROS resulted in the classification of ROS Tanjung Kelayang class. Next (3) The ROS classification results will be drawn in the form of GIS with the help of Arc application. GIS and Arc. Map. Based on the results of the study, it was found that  Tanjung Kelayang area was included in class 1 or was easily accessible, quite affordable and comfortable, and the quality of DTW was comfortable and well
