Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Make a Match (MM) dan Teams Games Tournament(TGT) dengan bantuan PowerPoint pada pokok bahasan koloid. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas reguler dengan teknik random sampling (acak) dan masing–masing kelas terdiri atas 40 siswa. Pada kelas eksperimen I diberi pengajaran dengan model kooperatif tipe MM dengan bantuan powerpoint dan pada kelas eksperimen II diberikan pengajaran dengan model TGT dengan bantuan powerpoint. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan siswa pada kelas MM memiliki rata – rata nilai pre-tes 51,44 + 17,85 dan post-tes87,62+6,25 dengan rata – rata gain sebesar 73,53%. Sedangkan siswa pada kelas TGT memiliki rata – rata nilai pre-tes 45,25+14,24 dan post-tes83,94+5,58 dengan rata – rata gain sebesar 69,46%. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t dua pihak dari data hasil belajar dan diperoleh thitung = 2,80  sedangkan ttabel = 1,994 untuk α = 0,05 dan db = 78, sehingga thitung>ttabel. Maka Ha diterima yakni ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model kooperatif tipe MM dengan bantuan powerpoint dengan model TGTdengan bantuan powerpoint yaitu sebesar 4,07%. Berdasarkan perbandingan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar yang tertinggi yaitu dengan pembelajaran menggunakan model MM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inkuiri terbimbing berbasis pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Stabat pada materi koloid. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes objektif dalam bentuk pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing berbasis PCK dan kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dari hasil penelitian, untuk kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata postest adalah 84,5. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata postest kelas kontrol adalah 70,5. Data hasil kelompok sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil uji t dua pihak diperoleh thitung= 5,470 dan ttabel = 1,645, sehingga thitung > ttabel yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Penilaian aktivitas siswa pada kelas eksperimen mendapat rata-rata sebesar 71,481dan kelas kontrol 62,962. Hasil uji t dua pihak diperoleh thitung= 3,101 dan ttabel = 1,645, sehingga thitung > ttabel yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model inkuiri terbimbing berbasis PCK terhadap hasil belajar kimia dan aktivitas siswa pada materi koloid kelas XI MAN 1 Stabat.

Abstract

Salah satu materi pokok dalam mata kuliah Kimia Umum-II yang memiliki kajian yang cukup luas, sarat dengan konsep dan bersifat abstrak adalah kelarutan/hasil kali kelarutan. Materi pokok tersebut akan lebih tepat diajarkan dengan PBL menggunakan animasi maupun peta konsep sehingga mahasiswa mudah memahmi dan menjadikan perkuliahan lebih bermakna. Selain itu, faktor lain yang juga berpengaruh terhadap pencapaian hasil belajar mahasiswa adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis (KBK) mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan PBL menggunakan animasi terhadap hasil belajar kimia mahasiswa yaitu rata-rata hasil belajar kimia mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan PBL menggunakan animasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan model PBL menggunakan peta konsep; 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan KBK mahasiswa terhadap hasil belajar kimia mahasiswa yaitu rata-rata hasil belajar kimia mahasiswa yang memiliki KBK tinggi lebih baik atau lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar kimia mahasiswa yang memiliki KBK rendah; 3) tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan interaksi antara penerapan PBL menggunakan animasi maupun peta konsep ditinjau dari KBK mahasiswa terhadap hasil belajar kimia yang dicapai mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) whether the increase in student learning outcomes taught by the Guided Inquiry model is higher than the increase in student learning outcomes taught by Conventional models; 2) whether the increase in the Science Process Skill (SPS)  of students who are taught with the Guided Inquiry model is higher than the increase in the student's SPS that is taught with Conventional models; 3) is there a significant correlation between learning outcomes and student SPS through the application of Guided Inquiry model. The population of this study is all students of class XI MIA 1 Binjai Public High School and Binjai 5 Public High School year 2017/1018. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique as many as two classes. The test instrument used is 40 multiple choice questions (cognitive), 10 essay questions (SPS). The non-test instruments used were observation sheets (affective, psychomotor) and questionnaire sheets. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes, science process skills and there is a significant correlation in students who are taught by using the Guided Inquiry model higher than the increase in student learning outcomes using Conventional models.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning model (PBL) on students' generic science skills in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material. This research is an experimental research. The population in this study were all class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam. Sampling was done randomly by taking 2 classes, namely one experimental class (PBL model) and one control class (DI model). The instruments used in the form of objective tests in the form of multiple choices amounted to 20 questions and essay questions to measure students' critical thinking skills as many as 5 questions. Homogeneous and normal data were analyzed by paired sample t-test and N-gain normalized using SPSS Version 20. The results showed that there was an influence of PBL learning models on students' generic science skills in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials. The generic skills of direct observation science are the most developed generic science skills while the lowest generic science skills are symbolic language.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the quality of the odd chemistry semester exam questions of class X IPA 1 Perbaungan 2017/2018 school year based on qualitative analysis (material, construction, and language), analysis of cognitive level distribution, and quantitative analysis (validity, reliability, power difference, level of difficulty, and effectiveness of deception) using the ANATES V4 program. This study uses a type of quantitative research with descriptive methods. The results of this study are that the content validity in the material is in a very high category, in the construction aspect in the low category and the language aspect in the category is very high. Results based on cognitive domain level distribution are not in accordance with domain level proportions. The results of the study are based on quantitative analysis which is based on validity is 55% valid, and 45% is invalid. Based on reliability is 0.76. Based on the difference in power is good and based on effectiveness the deception is effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the chemistry learning outcomes of students taught with the help of media Concept Maps and Mind Maps using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning models on colloid subject matter. The population in this study is all students of class XI MIA SMA Swasta Nusantara Lubuk Pakam in the 2017/2018 school year consisting of 3 classes. The sample used in this study was taken by random sampling of two classes. The data analysis technique is a hypothesis test, namely the two-tail t-test. Based on the results of the data requirements test, it is known that the data from the pretest and posttest in the experimental class I and experiment II are normally distributed and homogeneous. Whereas to test the hypothesis on student learning outcomes (posttest) the price -thitung <-t½ α and tcount <t ½ α (-2,2181<-2,002 and 2,2181> 2,002) and are in the critical area, then Ho is rejected Ha accepted is that there are differences in chemistry learning outcomes of students who are taught with the help of media Concept Maps and Mind Maps using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning models on the subject matter of colloids.

Abstract

Descriptive research and development using the ADDIE method aims to Innovatiive develop project-based and character practical guides of Colloidal material according with BSNP standards. The sample of 2 lecturers and 2 chemistry teachers, practical guides for Erlangga (A), Bumi Aksara (B), Pudak Saintifk (C), 26  students XI IPA-5 (experiment) and 26 students XI IPA-6 (control) at the  Medan 3th Senior High School. Data was processed descriptively, obtained the results of feasibility validation contents 3.53; language 3.46; presentation of 3.50, score of 3.53, average of 3.32; it means that the  practical guides resulting from the development is very valid according to the BSNP standard. Data analysis with ANOVA, obtained the average scores of student outcomes in experimen > control class or 81.5% > 73.8%. Then the average phsychomotor scores of experimen was larger than control class or 84, 64 > 82.78. In addition, the affective scores of experimen was larger than control class or  78.42 > 76.38. The hypothesis tested with one way ANOVA at the significant level of α  0.05, and found that tcount> ttable, (4.536 > 1.697). It is concluded that the Innovative Chemistry Practicum Guides developped is highly very good, suitable for use in Senior High School.

Abstract

Berdasarkan road map penelitian di Universitas Muslim Nusantara (UMN) Al Washliyah dibidang IPPK untuk menganalisis kesulitan dalam K13 dan model pembelajaran karakter, dalam hal ini diketahui belum mencapai kebutuhan pada tahun 2020 artinya sangat diperlukan penyelesaian masalah yang dihadapi. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini adalah merumuskan konsep perencanaan kesesuaian kebutuhan mahasiswa dalam memberikan faktor kesulitan keterbatasan mahasiswa dalam mengaplikasi pembelajaran K13 berbasis karakter di FKIP UMN Al Washliyah. Metode Penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan desain ADDIE. Populasi Penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 FKIP UMN AW, dengan demikian sampel diambil acak, Sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa yang akan melaksanakan Magang III FKIP UMN Al Washliyah sebanyak sampel adalah 70 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah angket dan wawancara, dengan teknik analisa adalah analisis faktor IBM SPSS 22 for Windows. Hasil pada tahun pertama pada tahapan analisis, diketahui mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dan ketidakpahaman, tidak mampu mendesain pembelajaran serta penilaian abad 21, selanjutnya tahapan desain diperlukan modul untuk meningkatkan kinerja mahasiswa mengikuti program Magang III.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) To find out the differences in learning outcomes of students who are taught using virtual and real lab; (2) To find out the correlation between learning styles with student learning outcomes by applying PBL models using virtual and real lab; (3) To find out the interaction between class and student learning style on student learning outcomes. Analysis results: (1) differences in student learning outcomes by applying PBL using a virtual lab (78.269 ± 9,994) and real lab (70.96 ± 8.834) where t-test (2.794) and sig 0.007 <0.05 are obtained; (2) There is a very significant relationship between the two variables in the experimental class-I and II, which obtained a correlation value of 1 (sig. 0,000 <0.05); (3) There are interactions between classes using virtual and real labs and student learning styles on student learning outcomes. Interaction analysis obtained results between columns (A) Fhit 58,480> F table 3.20 (sig 0,000 <0.05) means that factor A is real; inter-row results (B) Fhit of 0.070 <F table 4.05 (sig 0.932> 0.05) means that the factor B is not significant; interaction results (AB) Fhit of 86.41> F table 3.20 (sig 0.000 <0.05) means that the real AB factor
