Abstract

Qardl financing is one of outlay product in Darul Hikam Syariah Concumer Cooperative coming through capital lack problems due to many inconsiderate debtors. This subsequently triggers some suspicions about its regulations of risk management applied in qardl financing. This study is qualitative research applying descriptive analysis approach. The data are collected using techniques of observation, interview and documentation. The results reveal several findings. First, the procedure of qardl financing in Darul Hikam Syariah Consumer Cooperative is divided into four stages. They are the submission stage, the analysis stage, the disbursement stage, and the installment stage. In the disbursement stage, an administrative fee is determined based on the loan amount. Second, the qardl financing risk management analysis is not in accordance with the theory. It can be seen from the risk management process which is only carried out by means of identification, measurement, and control. There is no monitoring due to the lack of human resources (employees) in providing assistance, approach, and direct direction for borrowers. Otherwise, the monitoring is crucial in the process of minimizing the occurrence of failed businesses and experiencing bad credit settlement.

Abstract

High customer loyalty can indicate the success of Islamic banks in line with increasingly fierce business competition between financial institutions and banks. This study aims to examine and analyze the relationship between bank services, customer satisfaction, one's religiosity, and customer loyalty of Islamic banks in the city of Surabaya. Using a research sample of Islamic bank customers who domiciled in Surabaya, this study uses a quantitative approach with a purposed mediator regression analysis with Bootstrap Matrix. The results showed that a person's religiosity and service quality of Islamic banks had a positive and significant effect on their loyalty as customers in Islamic banks. Then, the effect of service on customer loyalty, which is moderated by satisfaction, shows a positive but not significant effect. With the less significant effect of service on loyalty moderated by satisfaction, along with the increasingly fierce business competition between institutions and banks, Islamic banks need to improve the quality of services provided to customers and prospective customers to be able to compete with other financial institutions to obtain satisfaction and maintain customer loyalty. Finally, the results of the simultaneous test show that religiosity and service quality (moderated by customer satisfaction) have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty in sharia banking in Surabaya.

The level of financial inclusion in Indonesia is 76,19%. It indicates that there are still many groups of people who have not received financial services. Economic empowerment and financial services at the micro level are easier and more accessible through microfinance institutions (MFIs). This study aims at improving the strategy for the role of BWM in financial inclusiveness and to support the economy from the MSME level. The method used is SWOT analysis by considering the internal and external factors that exist in BWM. The factors obtained through in-depth interviews with BWM leaders are processed quantitatively. The results show that BWM is still in the Stable Growth stage, because it has added value on weaknesses and opportunities. Strategies that can be implemented include collaborating with external agencies and simplifying regulations in BWM operations.

Abstract

Many Regionals Government in Indonesia still rely on DAU allocations to finance regional expenditures and development without optimizing the potential of the regions. When DAU allocation obtained is large, the regions will try to keep DAU in the next period at the nominal value. PAD is able to finance local government at a maximum of 20%. This fact has led to asymmetrical behavior in local government. The regional government responds to the transfer of funds in the form of balancing funds, especially DAU which is realized in the regional budget. As regional spending is greater than the transfer, it is called the flypaper effect. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis method using panel data regression. The data analysis with regression uses the Eviews 9.0 program. The data used in this research use panel data with independent variables, namely General Allocation Fund (DAU) and Regional Original Revenue (PAD). The dependent variable is Regional Expenditure. The results of this study are: 1) General Allocation Funds have no effect on Regional Expenditures; 2) Regional Original Revenues affects Regional Expenditures; 3) General Allocation Funds and Regional Original Revenues simultaneously affect Regional Expenditures; 4) There is no Flypaper Effect in Regency/City Government of Lampung Province 2016-2019; 5) Regional Expenditures of Lampung Province is not compatible with the Islamic economic perspective.
