Abstract

ABSTRACT : RELATIONSHIP OF PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING AND CAREER ASPIRATION AMONG HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN BANDAR LAMPUNG Psychological well-being is the full achievement of a person's psychological potential which makes an individual able to function properly in carrying out all duties and responsibilities as an individual. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of psychological well-being and career aspirations of high school students in Bandar Lampung. The sample in this study involved 88 high school students in Bandarlampung who were selected using cluster sampling. This research method is quantitative with a correlational research design. Measurement tools used in this study are a scale of psychological well-being and career aspirations. The analysis technique used in this research is the product moment correlation. The results showed that there is a strong relationship between psychological well-being and career aspirations of high school students in Bandarlampung. Keywords: Psychological Well-being, Career Aspirations, High School Student Kesejahteraan Psikologis merupakan pencapaian penuh dari potensi psikologis seseorang yang membuat individu mampu berfungsi dengan baik dalam mengerjakan segala tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam hubungan antara tingkat kesejahteraan psikologis terhadap aspirasi karir pada siswa SMA di Bandar Lampung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini melibatkan siswa SMA di Bandarlampung sebanyak 88 orang yang dipilih dengan menggunakan cluster sampling. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional.. Alat pengukuran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket skala kesejahteraan psikologis dan  skala aspirasi karir. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah crelasion product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara  kesejahteraan psikologis terhadap aspirasi karir siswa SMA di Bandarlampung. Kata kunci: Kesejahteraan Psikologis, Aspirasi Karir, Siswa SMA

Abstract

ABSTRACT: ONLINE GAME IMPACT: STUDY OF TRASH-TALK BEHAVIOR PHENOMENON IN  ADOLESCENTS Playing online games can trigger aggressive behavior. One of the phenomena of aggressive behavior among adolescents that occurs in Indonesia is trash-talk behavior. This research was conducted to find out the phenomenology of trash-talk behavior in adolescents and to understand the factors that cause trash-talk behavior. This research is a qualitative study using the Interpretative Phonomenological Analysis (IPA) method. The online game media chosen is the Bang Bang Legend Car Online Game (MLBB). The sample in this study were 3 people, where primary data were obtained from adolescents aged 14-15 years who were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through participatory observation, semistructured interviews, and documents. The results of this study indicate that there are 12 factors that cause teenagers to trash-talk behavior in the MLBB online game. By minimizing these twelve factors, it can prevent teenagers from the negative impact of trash-talk behavior and develop into a positive person. Keywords: Online Games Impact, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Trash-Talk, Adolescent Behavior  Bermain game online dapat memicu perilaku agresif. Salah satu fenomena perilaku agresif pada remaja yang terjadi di Indonesia adalah perilaku trash-talk. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mencari tahu fenomenologi perilaku trash-talk pada remaja dan memahami faktor penyebab perilaku trash-talk. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode Interpretative Phonomenological Analysis (IPA). Media game online yang dipilih adalah Game Online Mobil Legend Bang Bang (MLBB). Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 3 orang, dimana data primer didapatkan dari remaja berusia 14-15 tahun yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipasi, wawancara semiterstruktur, dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 12 faktor penyebab remaja berperilaku trash-talk dalam game online MLBB. Dengan meminimalisir kedua belas faktor tersebut maka dapat menghindari remaja dari dampak negative perilaku trash-talk dan berkembang menjadi pribadi yang positif. Kata kunci : Dampak game online, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Trash-Talk, Perilaku Remaja

Abstract

ABSTRACT: COUNSELOR CHARACTERISTIC AMONG CANDIDATED COUNSELOR BASED ON GENDER GROUP DIFFERENCES A qualified counselor will determine the success of the counseling process. Three characteristics are needed and determine the quality of a counselor, namely: (1) congruence (authentic), (2) unconditional positive regard (acceptance), and (3) empathy (empathy). This study aims to describe the characteristics of counselors based on gender groups. The research sample consisted of 68 prospective counselor students who were divided into gender groups. The measuring instrument uses a counselor characteristic test developed using controversial statements with alternative Likert scale answers. The results of the study found that there were significant differences in the characteristics of counselors among students of the guidance and counseling study program based on differences in gender groups. There is a significant difference between the need to develop educational programs and effective counselor training for male and female students. The development of congruence characteristics is more needed for male students, while female students on the characteristics of unconditional positive regard. A larger sample size is needed to increase heterogeneity, and additional interviews are conducted individually to deepen the discussion. Key words: counselor characteristics, gender, measurement of emphaty, psychological instrument.  Konselor yang berkualitas akan menentukan keberhasilan proses konseling. Tiga karakteristik yang diperlukan dan menentukan kualitas konselor, yaitu: (1) congruence (otentik), (2) unconditional positive regard (penerimaan), dan (3) empathy (empati). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran karakteristik konselor berdasarkan kelompok gender. Sampel penelitian merupakan 68 mahasiswa calon konselor yang dibagi berdasarkan kelompok gender. Alat ukur menggunakan tes karakteristik konselor yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan pernyataan kontroversial dengan alternatif jawaban skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menemukan ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam karakteristik konselor pada mahasiswa program studi bimbingan dan konseling berdasarkan perbedaan kelompok gender. Ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kebutuhan pengembangan program pendidikan dan pelatihan konselor yang efektif bagi mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Pengembangan karakteristik congruence lebih dibutuhkan untuk mahasiswa laki-laki, sementara mahasiswa perempuan pada karakteristik unconditional positive regard. Jumlah sampel yang lebih besar diperlukan untuk meningkatkan heterogenitas, dan melakukan wawancara tambahan secara individual untuk memperdalam diskusi. Kata kunci: karakteristik konselor, gender, pengukuran empati, instrumen psikologi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: ASSERTIVENESS AND SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING ON UNIVERSITY STUDENT IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC TIME This year, the global Covid-19 pandemic hit the world and affected various aspects of life, as well as in the world of education. The pandemic that is there is causing some psychological symptoms in the majority of people. The adaptation to this new situation affects students' subjective well-being. One of the factors related to subjective well being is assertiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between assertiveness and subjective well-being among college students, especially in the global Covid-19 pandemic situation. This research was conducted on 49 students of The Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Widya Gama Mahakam University Samarinda. This study uses an instrument of assertiveness scale, the scale of Satisfaction with Life Scale, and the Scale of Positive and Negative Experience. The analysis was performed using Pearson's product moment correlation technique. The results showed that there was no relationship between assertiveness and subjective well-being in the students of the Teaching and Education Faculty, Widya Gama Mahakam University Samarinda. Keywords: Assertiveness, Subjective Well-Being, University Student Tahun ini, pandemi global Covid-19 melanda dunia dan mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, begitu pula dalam dunia pendidikan. Pandemi yang ada menimbulkan beberapa gejala psikologis pada sebagian besar orang. Adaptasi terhadap situasi yang baru ini mempengaruhi kesejahteraan subjektif (subjective well-being) mahasiswa. Salah satu faktor yang berhubungan dengan subjective well-being  adalah asertivitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara asertivitas dan subjective well-being pada mahasiswa, khususnya pada situasi pandemi global Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 49 mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen skala asertivitas, skala Satisfaction with Life Scale, dan Scale of Positive and Negative Experience. Analisis dilakukan dengan teknik korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara Asertivitas dan Subjective Well-Being pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda. Kata Kunci: Asertivitas, Subjective Well-Being, Mahasiswa

Abstract

ABSTRACT: RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARENTAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PARENTING STRESS IN PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER Autism is a complex developmental disorder, includes disorders of communication, behavior, social skills, sensory and learning caused by brain damage. The level of parenting stress experienced by parents of autistic children is very high. Parental characteristics are one of the factors that influence parenting stress. This study aims to determine the relationship between parental characteristics and parenting stress of parents who have children with autism spectrum disorders. This research is an analytic survey research with a cross-sectional design. The research sample consisted of 31 parents who had children with autism spectrum disorders in special schools in Bandar Lampung. The measuring instruments used are parental demographic data and Parenting Stress Index (PSI). The results showed that most of the respondents were middle adults (61.3%), tertiary education (64.5%), working status (54.8%), had an income more than Rp. 3,500,000 (74.2%) and had moderat level of parenting stress (74.2%). The results of the correlation analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between parental characteristics and parenting stress. Age and education are the strongest factors that predict parenting stress. Keyword: Parenting Stress, Parental Characteristics, Autism Autisme merupakan gangguan perkembangan yang kompleks seperti gangguan komunikasi, perilaku, kemampuan sosialisasi, sensoris dan belajar yang disebabkan oleh kerusakan otak. Tingkat stres pengasuhan yang dialami orang tua anak autis sangat tinggi. Karakteristik orang tua merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi stres pengasuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik orang tua dengan stres pengasuhan orang tua yang memiliki anak gangguan spektrum autisme. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 31 orang tua yang memiliki anak ganggan spektrum autisme di SLB se-Bandar Lampung. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah data demografi orang tua dan Parenting Stres Index (PSI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden berusia dewasa madya (61,3%), berpendidikan perguruan tinggi (64,5%), status bekerja (54,8%), memilikipendapatan > Rp.3.500.000 (74,2%) dan memiliki tingkat stres pengasuhan sedang (74,2%). Hasil analisis korelasi didapatkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara karakteristik orang tua dengan stres pengasuhan. Usia dan pendidikan menjadi faktor yang paling kuat memprediksi stress pengasuhan. Kata Kunci: Stres Pengasuhan, Karakteristik Orang Tua, Autisme

Abstract

ABSTRACT: SELF CONTROL AND SMOKING BEHAVIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT Smoking behavior appears a lot among adolescents. Smoking behavior is a form of juvenile delinquency related to self-control abilities. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and smoking behavior in high school students. The study was conducted on 205 students of SMA Negeri 1 Trimurjo, Central Lampung Regency. The research data were obtained through self-control questionnaires and smoking behavior. Data analysis used Pearson correlation test. The results showed that high school students had moderate self-control and smoking behavior. There is a significant relationship between self-control and smoking behavior in high school students, with low correlation strength and negative correlation direction, which means the higher self-control, the lower one's smoking behavior. The results of this study can be a reference for the school in developing self-control intervention programs to reduce smoking behavior among high school students. Keywords: Self-Control, Smoking Behavior, High School Students Perilaku merokok banyak muncul di kalangan remaja. Perilaku merokok merupakan bentuk kenakalan remaja yang berhubungan dengan kemampuan pengendalian diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kontrol diri dengan perilaku merokok pada siswa SMA. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 205 siswa SMA Negeri 1 Trimurjo Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui kuesioner kontrol diri dan perilaku merokok. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa SMA memiliki control diri dan perilaku merokok tingkat sedang. Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara kontrol diri dan perilaku merokok pada siswa SMA, dengan kekuatan korelasi rendah dan arah korelasi negatif yaitu semakin tinggi kontrol diri maka semakin rendah perilaku merokok seseorang. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi pihak sekolah dalam mengembangkan program intervensi control diri untuk. mengurangi perilaku merokok siswa SMA. Kata Kunci :Kontrol Diri, Perilaku Merokok, Siswa SMA

Abstract

ABSTRACT: OUTBOND TRAINING TO INCREASE SELF EFFICACY IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENT This study aims to see the effect of outbound training in increasing self-efficacy of vocational students. Data collection using a self-efficacy scale, interviews and observations. The research design used was The one Group Pretest-postest Design. The analysis used two related sample tests with the Wilcoxon test and qualitative analysis to describe the effect of outbound training to increase self-efficacy in vocational students. The results showed that there was an effect of outbound training on the self-efficacy of vocational students. The influence is positive, which means that when vocational students receive outbound training, the self-efficacy of vocational students will get positive changes related to self-efficacy. Keywords: Outbond Training, Self efficacy, Vocational Students Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pelatihan outbound dalam meningkatkan self efficacy siswa SMK. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self efficacy, wawancara dan observasi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah The one Group Pretest-postest Design. Abstract

ABSTRACT : PEER INFLUENCE AND SELF REGULATED LEARNING IN COLLEGE STUDENTS Self-regulated learning is an independent and active way of learning to achieve academic goals. Peers have a significant role in the development of students' ability to process information and increase learning motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between peer influence and self-regulation in student learning. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross sectional design. The research sample consisted of 123 students of the Malahayati University Faculty of Medicine. Data analysis using the Spearman test on the SPSS 20 application with a significance level in this study was set with a value of p <0.05. The results showed a significant positive relationship between peer influence and self-regulation in student learning. The results of this study have implications related to the development of self-regulated learning through the role of peers. Keyword: Self Regulated Learning, Peer Influence, College Students  Regulasi diri dalam belajar (self regulated learning) adalah cara belajar mahasiswa aktif secara individu untuk mencapai tujuan akademik.Teman sebaya memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam perkembangan kemampuan mahasiswa memproses informasi dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengaruh teman sebaya dengan regulasi diri dalam belajar pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumal 123 mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Malahayati. Analisis data menggunakan uji Spearman pada aplikasi SPSS 20 dengan tingkat kemaknaan pada penelitian ini ditetapkan dengan nilai p < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pengaruh teman sebaya dengan regulasi diri dalam belajar pada mahasiswa. Abstract

ABSTRACT: THE ROLE OF CULTURAL INTELLIGENCE AND PERSONALITY TOWARD ONLINE CONSUMTIVE BEHAVIOR OF MILLENNIAL GENERATION WHO WANDER IN JAKARTA This study aims to determine the role of cultural intelligence and personality on the online consumptive behavior of the millennial generation who have migrated in Jakarta. This research is a survey research design with non-experimental research types and involves three measuring instruments consisting of the Cultural Intelligence Measurement Scale (CIMS) to measure cultural intelligence, the Big Five Inventory 2 Short Form (BFI-2S) to measure personality characteristics and Consumptive Behavior Scale to measure the tendency of consumptive behavior. This study involved 303 participants who were millennials who had migrated to Jakarta. The results of this study indicate that cultural intelligence has a positive and significant correlation with consumptive behavior, where the higher the cultural intelligence possessed, the more it will increase the consumptive behavior of the participants. In addition, the results of subsequent studies showed that openness, agreeableness, and extraversion had a negative and significant correlation with consumptive behavior, while neuroticism had a positive and significant correlation with consumptive behavior. This study provides supporting data that cultural intelligence and personality in migrants can lead to consumptive behavior. Keywords: Personality, Cultural Intelligence, Consumtive Behavior Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kecerdasan budaya dan kepribadian terhadap perilaku konsumtif online generasi milenial yang merantau di Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan survey research design dengan jenis penelitian non eksperimental dan melibatkan tiga alat ukur yang terdiri atas Cultural Intelligence Measurement Scale (CIMS) untuk mengukur kecerdasan budaya, Big Five Inventory 2 Short Form (BFI-2S) untuk mengukur karakteristik kepribadian dan Skala Perilaku Konsumtif untuk mengukur kecenderungan perilaku konsumtif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan melibatkan 303 partisipan yang merupakan generasi milenial yang merantau di Jakarta dengan mayoritas partisipan berusia 20-25 tahun (80.9%). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan budaya berkorelasi positif dan signifikan dengan perilaku konsumtif, dimana semakin tinggi kecerdasan budaya yang dimiliki maka akan semakin meningkatkan perilaku konsumtif partisipan. Selain itu, hasil penelitian berikutnya menunjukkan bahwa openness, agreeableness,dan extraversionberkorelasi negatif dan signifikan dengan perilaku konsumtif, sementara neuroticism berkorelasi positif dan signifikan dengan perilaku konsumtif. Penelitian ini memberikan data pendukung bahwa kecerdasan budaya dan kepribadian pada perantau berperan dalam menentukan perilaku konsumtif. Kata Kunci: Kepribadian, Kecerdasan Budaya, Perilaku Konsumtif
