Abstract

The application of semantic differential method has been much done to examine consumer behavior. In this article, these methods also will be used in studying consumer behavior on hijab of Syafirah Muslimah in South Tangerang. Syafirah Muslimah is an SME that are developed enough in producing the hijab. The results of showed that the consumer gives good perception to its brand. It is guaranteed because the products including affordable. Policy implications that can be followed-up is to do implementing intensive promotion to consumers.

Abstract

Efficiency on every type of business entity is important in order to develop a business with the main purpose is increasing profit. This research aims to analyze the efficiency of the production roasted peanut household industry with an approach to Data Envelopment Analysis. The results show that the industry has reached a value proportional efficiency. Another research findings are we get any difficulties in obtain accurate data because the industry did not do adequate financial record. On that situation, the policy recommendation that can be implemented by the industry is recording financial report.

Abstract

Dodol is including traditional food which is already known in various regions of Indonesia. Dodol is a kind of food made from sugar and brown sugar and mix the ingredients. Maintaining cultural heritage therefore become very important. In line with this, the researches related to this sweet snack becomes very important. This article presents the results of research on the effectiveness of the production the dodol managed by a home industry in South Tangerang. The results of the data analysis are elaborated any further in this article.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is a very important thing for a company in which marketing strategy is a way of achieving the goal of a company, no exception, small and medium enterprises. Abstract

In Indonesia, there is a business activity who conducted recycled goods. They collect it from many sources. The activities of this business have long existed in the main cities, especially in the area of Jabodetabek. This business practice is generally conducted by small entrepreneurs. As a business entity, the profit and loss are essential component in order to find out if the entity makes a profit or not. This article reports the results of research on the break-even point on recycled collector in Tangerang City. The results show, this business entity can generate sustainable enough profit. Another research findings are we get any difficulties in obtain accurate data because the industry did not do adequate financial record. On that situation, the policy recommendation that can be implemented by the industry is recording financial report.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the breakeven on a handy-craft industry of Ms. Sri Sulastri in Pamulang, South Tangerang city. The design of observational research using the method. The design of the survey method using observational with a descriptive quantitative approach. We use costs and marginal approaches, graphical and mathematical methods to analyze break-even and maximum profit on the industry. The results of the analysis of the breakeven on the industry have exceeded break-even. Further elaborations are discussed in this article.

Abstract

There are many research results which stated that one of the obstacles faced by the SMEs is a weak of marketing activities. Based such research, this article presents the results of an action research of the designing internet-based marketing which utilize web blog. The focus of the research is directed at peanuts small industry in Kranggan subdistrict, South Tangerang city. The procedure of the action is presented further in this article.

Abstract

The coconut shell charcoal can be used as alternative fuel will become more environmentally friendly, easy to obtain, more economical and can be used by the wider community. In South Tangerang city, there are many home industries producing charcoal shell. Thus, this study will analyze the map strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the home industry. The results of the analysis using SWOT matrix shows that this industry has a very strategic position to be developed. Policy recommendations of the result is the industry needs to cooperate with coconut farmers and sellers of coconut in the traditional market, so supply remains awake.

Abstract

Number of studies stated that a pattern of short supply chain will reduce the impact of the bullwhip effect, because their interpreting data and information systems that are less integrated in each supply chain can be minimized. Therefore, this research seeks to confirm a pattern of supply chain at charcoal home industry di South Tangerang. Results confirmed that there are still constraints on every supply chain process in the production of the industry, as well as still haven't been able to resolve the existing problems in the supply chain of the production process. Policy recommendation for the industry is the industry needs to have warehouse to store and maintain inventory, both raw material inventory and production inventory.

Abstract

In South Tangerang city, there are many home industries producing charcoal shell. One of the industry is practiced by Mr. Abdul Razak in Ciputat District. According to some studies, in general the home industry is facing many problems, one of which is a weak in marketing strategy. Based the information, this article reports the marketing strategies implemented by the industry. With SWOT approach, we informed that the position of industrial strength lies in good relationships with suppliers. And the weakness is that the marketing activities carried out only through word of mouth. We recommend that the industry need to consider the using of banners or internet-based technology utilization for the marketing strategies.
