The factors of fluctuating tobacco prices are the main topic of this research. This research on fluctuations of tobacco prices and the economy of Madura tobacco farmers used qualitative methods by searching for data directly in the field through semi-structured interviews. The result is that several factors have led to fluctuations of tobacco prices in the Pamekasan area. First, the factor of weather or climate change is uncertain. Second, the length of the tobacco distribution chain to the warehouses of major cigarette companies in Indonesia which are based in the Pamekasan area. Third, local regulation no. 4 of 2015 which is not consistently implemented so that tobacco farmers are not sovereign in determining the selling price of Madura tobacco. Abstract

Abstract— Education and the body are closely related. School as a means of education does not only transfer knowledge to students, but also hones awareness of their bodies. However, in the field, it shows that Madurese female students who study in Madura do not realize that their bodies are the objects of power relations that operate through a hidden curriculum. This research tries to explain the cause. In order to obtain data about it, a case study approach, as a cluster of qualitative methods, was used in this field work. The data, which were mostly obtained from unstructured interviews, were then explained using social body studies. The results of this study indicate that the body as an object of power relations appears in the regulation of the use of the headscarf (“Jilbab”)for Madurese female students, especially those who attend SMPN 1 Labang, Bangkalan. Thus, the public schools there seem to discipline Madurese female students as if they are undergoing a regular Islamic boarding school or madrasah education almost everyday life. Abstract

Abstract— Metal music is not 'easy listening' music. Unlike pop music which is full of "laziness", metal music is full of "explosions" from a musical aspect so, not everyone is able and willing to explore metal music. Because of its aggressive noise, metal music is flourishing in the big cities. Madura, whose society tends to be traditional, is a serious obstacle for its young people who enjoy metal music. Those who enjoy metal music are commonly referred to as "metal youths". So far, there have not been many metal studies in Madura. In fact, Madurese metal youths performed metal music scenes that were no less great than those of outsiders. Therefore, this study seeks to describe scenes of obedience to Madurese metal youths with a musical phenomenology approach, and to explain them from the perspective of subcultural studies. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the scenes of the metalization of Madurese metal youths are not only centered on the musical scene, but also, jump out of the musical scene which shakes the stability of the tradition and the political domination of their religion. Keywords—: Metal Music Scenes; MadureseMetalYouths; Subcultural Studies.

Abstract

Abstract— The Jews were descendants of Mr. Abraham, The Father of Isaac, and Jacob or known as Israel because Jacob prevailed during the struggle with God until his name was no longer Jacob but Israel. The Jews had a difficult time being made slaves by the Egyptians, oppressed by the Neo-Assyrian empire, and the Babylonian empire which led to the exile of the Jews from their homeland and enslaved, even got slaughtered by Hitler with the Nazis during world war II. This is what made the Jews move because they had nowhere to live. The arrival of Jews in Indonesia has been around since the Sriwijayan kingdom, they came as merchants and have inhabited the Indonesia for a long time. People of Jewish descent in Indonesia have a total of about 5000 people excluding Maluku which is up to 500,000 in number. In Indonesia there is a community for people of Jewish descent and Judaism namely The United Indonesian Jewish Community (UIJC) which was formed in 2010. Therefore, the author discusses whether the UIJC community has relations with Indonesian society or vice versa because Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim population in the world. The methodology of this research is qualitative through case study method based on the results of data from informants / resource persons who have an impact on this research. Based on the interview, UIJC does not get negative stigma from the society. Keywords—: Jewish; Judaism; Community.
