Abstract

Many robots have been made by experts mimic the shape of the anatomy of living creatures. One of the many popular robots are legged robots. Utilization of legged robots in industry is able to pass through the places that are not possible using a wheeled robot, for example excess legged robot is up and down the stairs. To support the development and use of more advanced control systems, the authors proposed the creation Robot Quadropod Obstacle Detector Using Fuzzy Logic. Fuzzy logic is used to regulate the movement of four-foot robot with the help of two servo motors in each leg as well as data input in the form of obstacle distance detected by the ultrasound sensor. With the movement of the foot 2 DOF (Degree Of Freedom) system, the robot can run well and be able to control the speed of the robot foot steps in accordance with the detected obstacle distance from the use of fuzzy logic while using only one ultrasound sensor.

Abstract

During this time, used of accelerometer sensor is very helpful in human life, generally in automotive needed.Use of this sensor as a detector for airbag in car is worthy to be removed or not in cars accident event. The other used of this sensor is to see the movement of aircraft from its starting point. The conclution of the used of accelerometer sensor in automotive field wal limited to making a decision and see the movement of object. In mobile phone technology, this sensor is able to used as an interaction between user and applications. Generally for game application. There are several games that used this sensor to perform some actions. It can also be seen that the utilization in mobile phone technology was limited to the interaction of an application. From both limitation, the authors attempt to use the sensor in other field with other uses. This time, the sensor is used to control a mobile robot from the axis change that are detected by sensor on mobile phone. Users are expected to get more experience in utilization of this sensor, the user can control the mobile robot as playing games in mobile phone. This application are meneged to control the mobile robot based on the axis change that occur in mobile phone. Beside that, this application also managed to show images that captured from mobile robot so the user can control the mobile robot although the robot can´t be seen. There is a problem that the mobile phone has a long respon to show an image on the display and it disturb the user.

Abstract

Robotino isan Omni-Directional robot created by Festo Didatic that already integrated webcam with a USB interface and a system using omni-directional movement of the drive is capable of moving in all directions and has a variety of sensors that can be programmed as needed. It background in the development of controlrobot technology, the research is “application mobile robot control webcam-based using a hand gesture commands”, which uses image processing template matching methods. Robotino can do the movement in accordance with the detected hand gesture commands from the camera on the Personal Computer (PC) which integrated with Robotino. The application can detect this type of human hand gesture commands using HSV color space with 100% success rate of 20 times the distance between the test by making a hand gesture with a PC camera between 110 up to 130 cm. Abstract

Micromouse Robot has a goal to complete the maze that is the path to find a route from start point to finish with the shortest route. In search of the shortest route, Micromouse robot must perform scanning area of the maze path directly to determine the weights as input a shortest route algorithm. Processing on the image of the labyrinth and the Dijkstra algorithm to be the main discussion in this study. In practice, create an image processing algorithm to detect the nodes on the image of the labyrinth that the result becomes the input to the Dijkstra algorithm in order to get Micromouse Robot motion directions. These Applications on computers have been able to detect the nodes on the image of the labyrinth if the track width of a cell evenly, and experienced an error if there is a point that the width of the tracks is uneven in the amount of two cells. The shortest route formed by the application of the computer is in accordance with the route established by the program on Micromouse Robot. Abstract

Robotino is an omni-directional drive robot created by Festo Didatic and has integrated a variety of sensors and a webcam in it. By utilizing Computer Vision, Robotino can be used as a ball-detection robot based on shape and color of objects. Commonly, RGB color space are used while the process of color segmentation, but the RGB color space still unable to tolerate the intensity of light. In this project has been build an application using the HSV color space for color filtering process which is able to tolerate the intensity of light in image processing and the methods for detect a circle is using Circular Hough Transform. Moreover, in this study the image data obtained directly via webcam on Robotino streamingly. This application has been successfully detected the colored balls with the parameters specified filter color in HSV color space and the Circular Hough Transform method, as well as the processed image data obtained through wireless,streamingly fromRobotino’s webcam which is already integrated on the PC. Abstract

KRI (Indonesian Robot Contest) is one of the race-level colleges both private and state in Indonesia. Most robots are contest  is the type of mobile robot. Obstacles often encountered in the race KRI is the intensity of light that enters the sensor photodioda causing impaired. To overcome this optocoupler can be used with this sensor the robot can walk with relying on the motor right and left motor. Optocoupler is issuing digital voltage sensor by exploiting holes contained disc motor. Distance and time the robot is used to analyze how much the speed of the robot by using fuzzy methods, while the method of PID is used to control the motor rotation right and left in order to go hand in hand and the same. Abstract

Fire accident is a disaster which freekly many people. This accident often happen because environtment problems or human error. This disaster was take hundred soul or more when happen. Police Departement has a note that disaster which happen in Jakarta as Operasi Ketupat Jaya 2012 has increase 50% than Operasi Ketupat in 2011. To anticipate this disasster many people has done a reasearch for robot which can extinguish fire without human in process, so the human accident when extinguish fire can be reduced. As a solution to solve a matter above writer make a flame extinguisher robot with a differents concept. This Robot have a ability to detect fire indoor with webcam integrated in robot body. This webcam have a function to recognize fire object with image processing. This robot integrated with flame sensors for detect the temperature from the flames. Sensor will have output as a voltage when interact with flames. After that actuator as fire extinguisher will terminate that flames.

Abstract

Parking area and many cars parked in the parking can be an obstacle for those who want to park in the parking  to find out which part is still empty, so it make person must looking around the parking for search an empty spot. At this time the park is equipped with CCTV cameras that are useful only to monitor the parking situation. The resulting image of CCTV can be use actual process to be able to detect an empty parking area and the results will representative as information to the people who want to park. In this final project will be designed a system can detect and inform an empty parking area with background subtraction method using a system consisting of three main parts, namely cameras, computers, and displays. At trial program can produce valid results, but in this program only 3 car caught on camera. So as to develop this system, as the system is designed to take pictures with a concept of panoramic view to getting the image of car that much more.

Abstract

Everyone is always busy with daily routine activities. For example, in the morning had to turn off the lights and turn on the lights in the evening. In general, the use of intermediaries cable to control electronic devices. Current technological developments in the field of advanced electronics, such as a wireless device that can replace the role of cable in controlling electronic devices. Android operating system has a voice input applications that is Google voice input. Google voice input is the default application from the Android operating system that can be used for various purposes such as for typing SMS and do an online search just with voice input. From the voice input technology, Android and wireless researchers want to create a system that allows an Android-based mobile phone to be used as control devices for controlling multiple electronic devices that contained electronic equipment in the home, such as lights, electronic door locks and fences with motor. With this system the routines of daily activities can be made ​​more comfortable. Google´s voice input will facilitate the use of Android-based mobile phone applications. In use of the device will be easier as only input sound without having to go where the control devices such as light switches.
