Abstract

The development of the province of North Sulawesi, specifically South Minahasa, especiallyEast Tawaang Village, has a very interesting potential to be developed into a rural touristdestination. However, to develop these destinations, it is necessary to identify what potentialscan become the backbone of the area. Determining the identification of potential in the area willfacilitate the initial steps for strategy preparation and initial mapping as one of the leadingdestinations in South Minahasa.Qualitative descriptive research method is used to determine the potential that exists in thevillage of East Tawaang and is supported by interviews of related people to get valid results. Theresults of this research show that the village of Tawaang Timur has various potentials that can bedeveloped.By formulating a SWOT analysis, it can be found that the strengths of East Tawaang Villageinclude the potential for natural tourism, culture and local arts. Natural tourism such as moinitbeach, songkur beach, mangrove forest, BTO dam has natural tourist attractions. Art tourismwhich is the basis of the Minahasa art, such as the kebesaran dance, lenso, and the culture ofmaking traditional cap tikus needs to be a concern. weakness of East tawaang Village in terms ofinfrastructure and human resources.From the village profile, there are still many people who have very low education, infrastructureto get to tourist attractions is still lacking, roads that are still damaged or not even paved, publictoilets are not available, restaurants or eating places that have not been formed and properlyorganized, service and cleanliness which is very minimal, lodging, souvenir shops that are notyet available must be a priority that need fixing. The involvement of the local government andlocal communities is very lacking in understanding the tourism potential in the village of EastTawaang. There are many opportunities for East Tawaang Village, the potential for nature, artsand culture should be able to be explored deeper and be prepared more thoroughly to become atourist village because this village has potentials that are very rarely found in other villages,traditional arts need to be formed and traditionalized to children - Adolescents and young people,dance studios are made to shape the character of the citizens' arts and culture, and can bedisplayed in front of tourists visiting potential places, training on handicrafts to make souvenirobjects that can be used as a driving force for the tourism economy. This research was carrid out in the coral reef transplantation Coral Garden Stock Center area of Malalayang in July 31st 2020 by using visual cencus method on coral transplantation. the result of the research show that there were 27 species of the reef fish and 14 other types of biota iving in association in the coral transplanttion area. key words: coral reef transplantation

Abstract

Tourism village as an alternative tourism for tourists who can provide a source of income. The main problem is the difficulty of managing and planning finances. The purpose of the research is to test business performance based on the characteristics of the respondents which including gender, age, and level of education. The total sample taken is 50 respondents. Data is retrieved through questionnaire. The method of analysis used is a different test one way ANOVA analysis with a significance level of 5% . Test results show that there is no significant difference in business performance based on gender, age or level of education.

Abstract

Tuur Maásering is one of the attractions that is now a favorite for tourists to fill their holidays or activities in their free time both with family and friends. Tuur Maásering is a tourist attraction which besides the coolness of its location also offers natural beauty with palm trees and huts made of bamboo. The Tuur Maásering tourist attraction also presents local Minahasa wisdom by serving traditional Minahasa drinks, namely rat stamp. Not only serving Minahasa specialty drinks, but this Tuur Maásering object also presents a way of distilling traditional Minahasa drinks that can be seen by tourists. After the election of the Regional Leader of North Sulawesi, tourist visits have decreased due to the Pandemic situation. However, in early March the Tuur Maásering tourist attraction, from the results of observations, tourist interest in visiting this attraction has increased and since June, tourist visits have drastically decreased due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research method is carried out using descriptive quantitative methods. The ease of accessing information and communication and supported by increased community mobilization has also triggered the development of various industrial sectors, including the tourism industry. Abstract

ABSTRACT: New era is the main focus of tourism recovery. The travel business plays an important role in the implementation of the new era to guarantee security and trust for tourists, however, there are various obstacles encountered. The purpose of this study is to determine the readiness of the travel business in Bali for selfassessment towards the new era. Qualitative descriptive analysis method is used to analyze the selfassessment towards the new era in the travel business. The selfassessment consists of 7 elements of product aspects, 3 elements of service aspects and 11 elements of management aspects, so there are 21 elements to be fullfilled. The study was conducted on six travel agencies in Bali that were still operating during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of the study show various obstacles faced by travel businesses regarding the fulfillment of selfassessments as a form of unpreparedness for implementing the new era during the Covid-19 pandemic. Companies must take advantage of the momentum of the Covid-19 pandemic to fulfill self-assessments to ensure tourists receive quality service. Efforts to fulfill selfassessments towards a new era are the main guarantee for foreign tourists visiting the island of Bali as Indonesia's main destination. Keywords: travel business, selfassesments, new era, pandemi Covid-19. ABSTRAK: Tatanan kehidupan era baru menjadi tumpuan utama memulihkan pariwisata. Usaha perjalanan wisata berperan penting dalam pelaksanaan tatanan kehidupan era baru untuk memberi jaminan keamanan dan kepercayaan bagi wisatawan, namun terdapat berbagai kendala yang dihadapi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kesiapan usaha perjalanan wisata Bali terhadap asesmen mandiri menuju tatanan kehidupan era baru. Metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis asesmen mandiri menuju tatanan kehidupan era baru pada usaha perjalanan wisata. Asesmen mandiri terdiri dari aspek produk 7 unsur, aspek pelayanan 3 unsur dan aspek pengelolaan 11 unsur, sehingga ada 21 unsur yang harus dipenuhi. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap enam biro perjalanan wisata di Bali yang masih beroperasi selama pandemi Covid-19. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berbagai kendala yang dihadapi usaha perjalanan wisata terhadap pemenuhan asesmen mandiri sebagai wujud ketidaksiapan pelaksanaan tatanan kehidupan era baru di masa pandemi Covid-19. Perusahaan harus memanfaatkan momentum pandemi Covid-19 ini untuk memenuhi asesmen mandiri guna memastikan wisatawan menerima layanan yang berkualitas. Upaya pemenuhan asesmen mandiri menuju tatanan kehidupan era baru menjadi jaminan utama bagi wisatawan mancanegara mengunjungi Pulau Bali sebagai destinasi utama Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method that describes the actual phenomenon of MAPALUS work culture in developing the work spirituality of lecturers and staff in the tourism department. The research showed that Mapalus work culture is still relevant in the tourism department, seen from the practice of Mapalus values in the tourism department's work environment. Lecturers and staff synergize in helping and building the department more on participatory values, discipline, leadership, solidarity and responsibility which are the main indicators in the application of MAPALUS culture. This is part of an effort to develop work spirituality to achieve the goals of lecturers and staff in their work. The development of work spirituality is seen from how lecturers and staff develop strong relationships with coworkers and other people related to work including creativity, communication, respect, partnership, positive energy, flexibility and fun. Having consistency or harmony between one's beliefs on organizational values, sharing and experiencing love, interest in being together with one another in work units and the organization as a whole are also part of developing work spirituality in the tourism department.Keywords: work culture, mapalus, work spirituality

Abstract

The tourism industry is an industry that can provide a multiplayer effect, meaning that it can move all sectors and touch all elements in the structure of society. Tourism as a user of all available sectors, and it will not develop properly when the supply and support sectors are not running as they should. The link between the uniqueness of attractions and amenities such as hotels and restaurants is needed in tourism development, but sometimes it does not synergize well when tourism is developed. The purpose of this study was to examine the local community's perception of the existence of historical sites and amenities in the development of Manado Tua tourism. The method used is descriptive by conducting a survey of 100 respondents who are considered worthy of giving an assessment. The method of analysis is a normal percentage distribution. The results of the study found that in general the existence of historical sites and the availability of amenities such as hotels and restaurants were in good condition and provided positive support in the development of Manado's old city tourism.

Abstract

This research was carried out in the coral reef Liang Beach area of Bunaken Island in July 31st 2021 by using the visual cencus method on 5 meters depth. The result of the research showed that there were about 12 species of indicator fish Chaetodontidae are found in the coral reefarea.

Abstract

Sarantangan Lake is located in Sagatani Village, South Singkawang Subdistrict, 22 km from Singkawang City. This lake is a natural tourism potential with an area of ​​400 hectares. With the Covid-19 pandemic, the world of global tourism has experienced a tremendous shock. Sarantangan lake is one of the tourist destinations that has felt the impact of the reduced level of tourist visits, both local and foreign. To anticipate this, the sustainable tourism development strategy that is formulated must be able to take into account the existing situations and conditions during and after the pandemic. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Lake Sarantangan has excellent natural and cultural potential but needs to be developed more professionally and regularly. The role of the government, local communities, and tourists to work hand in hand in optimizing the existing potential is very much needed. The potential that is owned must be able to be promoted on a large scale with the help of funds from the central government, especially with the status of Sarantangan Lake as a tourist destination which is part of the Super Priority Destinations. The quality of human resources and existing facilities must also be continuously improved to provide economic and social benefits for the surrounding community. It also cannot be forgotten, that various efforts and strategies must be carried out to maintain the authenticity and preservation of nature and local culture.

Abstract

Potensi akomodasi homestay dalam menunjang pengembangan atraksi wisata, Pantai Tanjung Woka Potensi akomodasi homestay dilokasi wisata untuk menunjang kegiatan atraksi wisata.. Akomodasi homestay akan lebih berkembang jika dikelolah dengan baik dan wisatawan yang datang merasa lengkap karena tujuan wisata yaang datang merasa puas dengan pelayanan dan fasilitas yang tersedia. Ini juga akan meningkatkan tingkat kunjungan dari wisatawan karena banyak juga wisatawan yang datang dengan membawa tenda sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pentingnya keberadaan homestay harus berada dilokasi wisata. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dan Analisis SWOT dengan penyebaran koesioner pada 10 wisatawan pantai tanjong woka dan 10 masyarakat lokal.
