Abstract

The main objective of educational institutions is the output of their students. Therefore it requires good student management as well as the role of the principal in running and managing it. This research uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The purpose of this research is to describe in real terms the implementation of student management and to know the role of the principal in the management of students at MI Nurul Yaqin Bululawang Malang. Data collection techniques include: observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were school principals, student staff, teachers, PPDB committee heads, students and alumni of MI Nurul Yaqin Bululawang Malang. The results showed that: 1) the implementation of student management at MI Nurul Yaqin Bululawang Malang was quite good. This is evidenced by implementing the stages of student management properly even though there are some that have not been implemented. 2) the role of the head of the madrasah in the implementation of student management has been carried out properly in accordance with its role as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and motivator.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis tentang pesantren yang merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang sangat tertua di Indonesia. Sebab pesantren sangatlah penting peranannya dalam perkembangan pendidikan di Indonesia, terutama dalam bidang pendidikan agama dan moral. Berdirinya pesantren di tengah-tengah masyarakat bukan hanya sebagai lembaga pendidikan, melainkan juga sebagai lembaga syiar agama. Eksistensi seorang kyai dalam sebuah pesantren menempati posisi yang central. Kyai merupakan titik pusat bagi pergerakan sebuah pesantren. Oleh karena itu peran kyai dalam pesantren yang cukup sangat baik untuk menumbuhkembangkan  nilai-nilai agama di tengah masyarakat, maka perlu sekali bagi organisasi pesantren untuk mengevolusi penataan organisasinya dengan menerapkan manajemen strategi dalam penerapan pola asuh dan pola pendidikan bagi para santri-santrinya. Hal ini diperlukan karena untuk menghadapi perkembangan masyarakat yang semakin modern khususnya perkembangan teknologi saat ini.

Abstract

The leadership of the kiai becomes very important in Islamic boarding school because the development of the quality of pesantren education depends on the competence of the leader, the meaning of the leader here is the kiai or caretaker of the boarding school. This study aims to describe the first role of leadership in improving the quality of education, secondly the leadership of kiai that is effective in improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools.This research uses a qualitative method, with a case study in Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation and observation techniques. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods and inductive thinking patterns. The purpose is to analyze the data obtained from field objects, and then to be related to relevant theories.The results showed: 1) The role of the kiai in improving quality in the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic boarding school in Malang is as a manager, educator, human resource empowerment, decision maker, attainee of the pesantren, motivator and supervisor. 2) Effective kiai leadership is leadership that builds cooperation with kiai or other institutions, regenerates kiai and builds good relations with the community.

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikian tertua yang ada saat ini. Untuk menaungi masyarakat dalam menjaga akidah dan syariat mereka, dibutuhkan peran pesantren sebagai kiblat yang dijadikan masyarakat pemimpin untuk menjaga kultur dan budaya masyarakat yang dikhawatirkan akan tergerus oleh arus globalisasi yang terus berkembang pesat. Di era 4.0 ini banyak sekali masalah yang ditemui pesantren diantaranya kurikulum yang telah kuno sehingga kurang relefan untuk menghadapi tantangan zaman, atau pengasuh pesantren yang terhasut dalam dunia politik sehingga menganak tirikan santrinya, dan masalah lain yang tergolong baru. Hal tersebut tentunya perlu diperhatikan dan diatasi dengan membentuk karakter pesantren yang sesuai dengan peradaban saat ini, yakni diantaranya : (1) Memahami ilmu agama dan ilmu umum terutama MIPA, (2) Melek teknologi, (3) Memahami metode dakwah islam Rahmatan lil alamin, dan lain-lain. Dalam hal ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi pustaka dengan mengkutip dari berbagai sumber baik primer maupun sekunder, sehingga peneliti mendapat pemahaman bahwa dalam meningkatkan kualitas kepemimpinan pesantren di era 4.0 ini, perlu di tanamkan karakter baru yang dapat membantu pesantren dalam menjawab tantangan zaman, agar pesantren tetap mampu membantu negara dalam menjaga akidah dan syariat masyarakat disekitarnya

Abstract

This study originated from the author's observations on the phenomenon of change in MTs Al Maarif 01, which was originally founded in 1923 AD, the Madrasah which was named Misbachul Wathon which continued to develop with demands for rules and regulations, so on July 1 1959 AD it changed to Madrasah Stanawiyah.  Nahdlotul Ulama and continues to grow until now to become MTs Al Maarif 01 Singosari Malang.  Based on this phenomenon, the writer intends to reveal the public relations strategy in enhancing the image of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Maarif Singosari Malang with sub focus: Public Relations Management Strategies in improving the image of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Maarif 01 Singosari, supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the image of MTs Al Maarif 01 Singosari.This research uses qualitative research with the type of case study research.  Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation.  While the data analysis technique, researchers used three interconnected components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.  To obtain objective data, it is done checking the validity of the data by making continuous observations, triggering data sources, methods and theories, checking members, checking the adequacy of references.The results of the research that have been carried out show that: 1) public relations strategies in improving the image of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Maarif 01 Singosari, namely public relations working with all members in madrasas such as the principal, Deputy Curriculum, Student Assistant and other teachers and staff, and also  have a work program.  2) supporting and inhibiting factors in improving Madrasah Image: supporting factors a.  Big names of foundations and madrasah founders (the NU scholars in 1957) b.  Fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure c.  trusted by related agencies and trusted by the community d.  good cooperation from all Madrasah, Pesantren and student guardians e.  Assignment of assignments by the foundation in accordance with the experts.  Inhibiting factors, namely: a. There are activities that coincide with the pesantren b.  Home visit is not smooth because the guardian is far away (outside the city, outside the island) and limited time c.  There are limited funds.

Abstract

Many students from the Salafiyah Islamic boarding school cannot continue their education to a higher level because of constraints in formal diplomas. Basic education program is one of the programs of the Ministry of Religion to overcome this. However, in its implementation it depends on the pesantren's own stakeholders, such as the role of the pesantren caregivers, pesantren head and pesantren instructors. Like in PP. Darutta'lim Wadda'wah Malang, which is one of the pesantren in Malang that has implemented a fair education program. In this case, the role of the head of the pesantren is very influential. Therefore, researchers are interested in carrying out research related to how the leadership of the pesantren head in implementing the fair education program. The focus of this research is about (1) How is the leadership of the pesantren head (2) how is the implementation of this program and also (3) what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the program.The results of this study found that (1) Leadership characteristics of Darutta'lim Wadda'wah Islamic boarding school leadership in the implementation of the Elementary Education Program included in a democratic leadership style, including: Prioritizing deliberation in decision making, involving pesantren stakeholders in making policy, and providing opportunities to all pesantren stakeholders to give their opinions for the achievement of the success of the Elementary Education Program at the Darutta'lim Wadda'wah boarding school. (2) Implementation of the Basic Education Fair Program in PP. Darutta'lim Wadda'wah started with the socialization of the Ministry of Education, after the socialization activities, the City Ministry of Education also provided guidance to pesantren who wanted to implement the Elementary Education Program in their pesantren. Guidance includes how the licensing process to how the evaluation later. (3) Supporting factors for the implementation of the Basic Education Program at the Darutta'lim Wadda'wah boarding school include: the support of pesantren caregivers, the availability of educational infrastructure, experienced teaching staff, and the availability of supporting books. While the inhibiting factors include: the lack of time for learning activities, the tutor has not been able to get an educator certificate, the problem of funding, although getting assistance from BOS funds, the size depends on the number of students, learning facilities are still lacking, and limited teaching time for teachers.

Abstract

The efforts of the principal in motivating teacher performance are very important to be investigated, especially at MTs Darun Najah because there is high enthusiasm from the teachers in carrying out their duties, as well as the principal who is pro-active in carrying out his role to always motivate all teachers. Therefore, this study aims to explore the role of the principal and the efforts made by the principal in motivating teacher performance at MTs Darun Najah.Based on the research context above, the researcher has the aim of (1) To describe the role of the principal in motivating teacher performance. (2) To find out the efforts made by the Principal to motivate the performance of Teachers at MTs Darun Najah. The type of research used by the writer is descriptive qualitative, while the method for collecting data is the method of interview, observation, and documentation taken from the principal, teachers and employees. Then performed data analysis by means of data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions. And finally checking the validity of the data by correcting the research method used, double-checking the results of the report in the form of descriptive data and triangulation is carried out to ensure the objectivity of the research.From the research conducted, it can be seen that the principal of MTs Darun Najah school has played a good role in motivating the performance of teachers at MTs Darun Najah starting from their role as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator. Some of the efforts made by the principal in motivating teacher performance by creating a safe and comfortable work atmosphere, as well as providing rewards and punishments to teachers who excel and violate rules, and always provide messages that can foster teacher motivation at work.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pendeskripsian evaluasi strategik perspekif pendidikan. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka, dengan mempelajari materi-materi mengenai tema penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat berbagai tujuan, prinsip, urgensi, dan langkah-langkah yang harus ditempuh dalam menjalankan evaluasi strategik pada lembaga pendidikan. Prinsip-prinsip yang harus dipegang untuk melaksanakan evaluasi ini diantaranya seperti prinsip continuity, comprehensive, objective, kriteria, dan kegunaan. Dan juga langkah-langkah yang harus ditempuh dalam evaluasi ini diantaranya menganalisis faktor internal eksternal, menilai kinerja, dan mengambil tindakan korektif.

Abstract

Kopontren is an economic institution that is located in a boarding school environment, and is a medium for students to carry out work practices so that there is a balance of patterns of religious education and entrepreneurship education. The existence of kopontren is one of thhe meanss of education foor students to foster interest and entrepreneurial talent with entrepreneurship education. that is hopeed that students will be able to eqeuip students with various abilitiees and skills, especially with regard to the needs of the community and in the field of employment. What program strategies are applied at thekopontren in shaping the entrepreneurial spirit of students at Darussaadah  Gubugklakah poncokusumo Malang Islamic boarrding school, (3) what are the factors that hinder the program of the kopontren in shaping the entrepreneurial spirit of students of Darussaadah gubugkalakh poncokusumo Malang, (3) what are the solutions conducted to overcome the failure applied by the Kopontren in shaping the entrepreneurial spirit of the students of Darussaadah Gubugklakah Poncokusumo MalangTo achieve the above objectives, qualitative research approaches are used. the focus of the research is the santrii Entrepreneurship Soul Formation Strategy through the Darussaadah Islamic Boarding School Kopontren program poncokusumo Malang, the data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was performed by data reduction and finally the data compiled was drawn to a conclusion. Triaungualition of the validity of the data is checked, and comparing research data with interviews and documents.The result of this study indicate that : (1)  the Strategies used in shaping  the entrepreneurial spirit of  the s using training and fostering education about entrepreneurship, are carried out on Friday, and every time there is education and training that is held at the Darussaadahh Vocational School. One of the educational training processes is to foster honesty, creative, and innovative values, and in accordance with entrepreneurial characteristics. Mental development is very important that is needed for entrepreneurial independence. (2) the inhibiting factors faced by the Kopontren namely, students lack honesty, lack self-confidence, do not understand quality goods, (3) and solutions to overcome the inhibiting factors namely the Kopontren management must be vigilant and more stringent in maintaining the Kopontren, provide direction and guidance on an incentive basis, so that they can be serious in carrying out guidance and coaching to form an entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

Setiap hal apapun yang ingin kita lakukan atau yang ingin kita gapai perlu melakukan suatu perencanaan dalam setiap kegiatan dan Langkah-langkahnya, baik perencanaan jarak dekat maupun perencanaan jarak jauh atau disebut juga dengan perencanaan jangka panjang. Perencanaan (planning) merupakan proses dasar bagi segala hal, yaitu seperti untuk memilih sasaran dan menetapkan bagaimana cara mencapainya. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan atau sebuah Lembaga Pendidikan harus menetapkan tujuan dan sasaran yang hendak dicapai sebelum melakukan proses-proses perencanaan.Perencanaan diperlukan dan terjadi dalam berbagai bentuk organisasi misalnya, sebab perencanaan ini merupakan proses dasar manajemen di dalam mengambil suatu Keputusan dan tindakan. Perencanaan diperlukan dalam jenis kegiatan baik itu kegiatan organisasi, perusahaan maupun kegiatan di masyarakat, dan perencanaan ada dalam setiap fungsi-fungsi manajemen, karena fungsi-fungsi tersebut hanya dapat melaksanakan keputusan-keputusan yang telah ditetapkan dalam perencanaan.Perencanaan merupakan tahapan paling penting dari suatu fungsi manajemen, terutama dalam menghadapi lingkungan eksternal yang berubah dinamis. Dalam era globalisasi ini, perencanaan harus lebih mengandalkan prosedur yang rasional dan sistematis dan bukan hanya pada intuisi dan firasat (dugaan).
