Abstract

Communication technology has a contribution in business capable of transforming data and information to all parties in need quickly and accurately. If the information reaches the user quickly then decision-making will also be fast. The development of internet technology and the application of the World Wide Web contribute to the development of electronic commerce (EC). EC is the use of all types of electronic networks, including the internet to provide services online. The purpose of this study was to conduct a descriptive study of the functions of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) in application software used by MSMEs in assisting administration and business development. The results of the study illustrate that EDI has an influence on reducing marketing costs, HR costs, and operational costs as well as increasing operating profits for several MSMEs that have used online marketing media such as Tokopedia, Lazada, Bukalapak.com, and Shopee with the help of application software, but a small proportion have not used it.

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on local tax payments, explaining the realization of local tax payments that declined due to covid-19. The variables of this study include the receipt of nine regional taxes, including Land and Building Tax, Land Acquisition and Land Acquisition Fees, Street Lighting Tax, Groundwater Tax, Billboard Tax, Restaurant Tax , Hotel Taxes, Entertainment Taxes, and Parking Taxes. This type of research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Research location in Sidoarjo Regency Regional Tax Service Board. The data used in this study is the realization of regional financial revenues in 2018-2020. Data analysis uses descriptive techniques. The results showed that the impact of the covid-19 pandemic affected the realization of local tax payments

Abstract

Open communication is a part of the science of business ethics, a business science that is believed to provide benefits not only to companies or to people who run business, but also to employees, the general public, and the natural environment. Open communication becomes a principle thing in running a company in which there are many deserving people. Open communication becomes a principal thing in running a company in which there are many diverse people. Open communication will make people trust each other. Then, open communication will become effective communication. In fact, effective delivery of information will smoothen the workflow of a company so that the company can get maximum results. PT. Global Sinergi Kartu is one of the companies that implement this rule. Employees of the company stated that they tend to like the openness in communication applied by their leaders. The employees feel to be given the freedom to express their opinion and to get clear information. By conducting in-depth interviews to obtain data, this qualitative research shows the result that the application of the principle of information disclosure has a real positive impact on the performance of employees.

Abstract

The impact of Covid 19 has a significant impact on various aspects of the world, including Indonesia, especially the industrial sector. This can be seen from the lethargy of the industry that many of us encounter in the form of stalled activities of some industrial sectors. Affected industries led to workforce cuts and a decrease in sales volume. This study aims to describe the volume of sales at PT Surabaya Makmur Jaya during the Covid 19 pandemic. The method used in this study is qualitative, the approach used in the form of case studies. Abstract

The purpose of this case study is to determine the reaction of the capital market to the announcement of sharia bank mergers. The variables used to measure market reactions are abnormal returns and trading volume activity. The sample in this study is BRI sharia stocks. The research was conducted during the observation period 20 days before the incident, one day at the time of the incident, and 20 days after the event. The analysis used is the Wilcoxon test analysis. This study shows that the merger of sharia state-owned banks has no impact on the capital market. There is no difference in the average transaction volume activity (ATVA) before and after the announcement of the merger of Sharia SOEs on October 12, 2020. However, there is abnormal difference in return before and after the announcement of the merger of Sharia State-Owned Banks. This finding is due to the limited observation period so that the impact of the observed events is not too broad and the effect of events on the company's shares is less known.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inflation, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) on Non-Performing Financing (NPF). This research uses quantitative research using linear regression analysis of panel data. This study uses panel data on Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) for the 2015-2019 period. The data processing used is Eviews 9. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, which uses several criteria so that there are 11 Islamic Commercial Banks as research samples. The results of this study indicate that inflation, GDP, and FDR variables have a positive influence on NPF, while the variable BOPO has a negative effect on NPF.

Abstract

USPPS BMT Sunan Drajat has several strategies so that the number of Wadi'ah Savings members experiences a significant increase every year. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the strategy implemented by USPPS BMT Sunan Drajat could increase the number of Wadi'ah Savings members. The research subjects were taken using the purposive sampling method and the data sources were obtained through interviews. The validity test is done by the triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that the marketing strategy applied by USPPS BMT Sunan Drajat on Wadi'ah Savings products is to use the Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning marketing method. Segments are selected based on occupation. The selected targets are entrepreneurs. BMT to attract public interest and trust through the image of Pondok Pentren Sunan Drajat. BMT Sunan Drajat also implements a Marketing Mix strategy which consists of Product Strategy, Price Strategy, Place Strategy, and Promotion Strategy.

Abstract

All organizations strive to achieve their goals to the fullest. Organizational goals can be achieved with good employee performance. Employee performance is influenced by communication and motivation. To analyze the effect of communication and motivation on employee performance at the Tuwuh Sari Cooperative, Angsana District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, it is necessary to do. The research method uses quantitative methods. The population of this research is the employees of the Tuwuh Sari Cooperative. The sampling technique used is the census. The sample of this study amounted to 40 employees. data collection using questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that communication and motivation affected the performance of the employees of the Tuwuh Sari Cooperative, Angsana District, Tanah Bumbu Regency. Motivation has a dominant effect on the performance of the employees of the Tuwuh Sari Cooperative. However, these two variables have a significant effect on employee performance. Thus, it is suggested that communication and motivation need to be improved because these two variables improve employee performance.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a considerable impact on various sectors of people's lives, including socio-economic interactions. This has resulted in many changes in people's consumption patterns to meet the needs of daily life. Islam emphasizes two things in meeting needs, prioritizing consumption that is more necessary and more useful and avoiding excessive consumption. The pattern of Muslim consumers prioritizes needs, not wants. Income affects the number of goods consumed. it is often found that with an increase in income, the goods consumed not only increase but also the quality of the goods becomes a concern. In addition to income, lifestyle is also a major factor in a person's consumerism. For someone who likes a luxurious lifestyle, the level of consumption is high. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of income and lifestyle on consumption patterns. This research is quantitative research with a causal explanatory research design. With a population of Muslims in Surabaya and the sample is the congregation of Friday at the big mosques of each sub-district with a sample size of 100 respondents obtained by random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, the results of which were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that income and lifestyle affect the consumption patterns of the Muslim community in Surabaya during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the effect of the quality of administrative services on patient satisfaction of Rebo Market Hospital. The sample taken was as much as 35% of the population, which is 29% x 350 = 101.5 people (rounded to 100 people). Using simple regression analysis, resulting in Quality of Administrative Services has a significant effect on Inpatient Satisfaction. The regression coefficient value of administrative service quality of 0.740 indicates that if the quality of Administrative services is improved by one unit then inpatient satisfaction will increase by 74%.
