Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that had hit the entire world recently had become an unusual challenge for everyone. This was because this pandemic had changed the activity habits of almost everyone; creating new habits for social distancing. Included getting used to work and study from home. This became a new problem, considering the additional costs that arouse in household finances. As long as many activities were carried out from home, it directly affected the family's financial economy. The economic uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in recent months had also resulted in a decrease/loss of household income. Based on the above problems, the purposed of this community service activity was to provide counselling to assist housewives to manage family finances better, during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, precise and careful steps were needed, hence the financial management of the family becomes right on target. One of the efforts that could be done was to carry out Family Financial Management. After the implementation of this community service activity in the form of counselling, the knowledge and understanding of the administrator-members and heads of the Medan HWK (Himpunan Wanita Karya) organization increased. The counselling participants has been able to manage family finances during the Covid-19 pandemic according to the methods. Besides, as the manager of family finances, it is hoped that the administrator-members and heads of the HWK (Himpunan Wanita Karya) women can apply the principles of family financial management with a full sense of diligence and consistency.

Abstract

Produk olahan jamur tiram putih sebagai makanan sehat dan dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat yang dibudidayakan dari hasil panen kelompok tani UMKM”MEKAR SARI” melalui kelompok ibu-ibu rumah tangga di wilayah Semolowaru Surabaya. Permasalahan mitra yaitu UMKM “MEKAR SARI” adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan informasi masyarakat tentang olahan Jamur Tiram putih dengan berbagai macam varian belum banyak diketahui dalam hal bagaimana cara dan bentuk produk olahan jamur tiram putih seperti sate jamur, abon jamur, nuget jamur, sempol jamur, pentol jamur. Tujuan dilakukan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan value added Jamur Tiram tersebut di jadikan sebagai peluang usaha rumah tangga dikarenakan memiliki kandungan gizi yang cukup tinggi yang bisa diolah menjadi aneka makanan lezat. Metode yang digunakan (1) training/ pelatihan terkait barang maupun jasa, difusi ipteks, substitusi ipteks (ipteks terbarukan), atau simulasi ipteks; (2) Pendidikan berkelanjutan; (3) penyadaran/peningkatan pemahaman terhadap suatu masalah; (4) konsultasi/pendampingan/mediasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah ditekankan luaran program yang dapat berupa produk/barang atau jasa yang dihasilkan mitra sebagai indikator keberhasilan program

Abstract

Cabe jawa (piper retrofraetum vahl) yang termasuk famili dengan lada dan kumekus, termasuk dalam suku sirih-sirihan atau piperacea merupakan salah satu tanaman obat tradisional, tanaman ini merupakan tumbuhan rempah asli Indonesia yang masih tidak diketahui oleh banyak masyrakat padahal tanaman tersebut memiliki banyak sekali manfaat, baik dari segi kesehatan maupun dari segi perekonomian. Tanaman cabe jamu paling banyak ditemukan di Jawa terutama di Madura Bangkalan khususnya Desa Daleman Dusun Nung Malaka yang tumbuh secara liar dipekarangan-pekarangan rumah masyarakat, namun sayangnya hanya sedikit dari mereka atau bahkan mereka sama sekali tidak mengetahui akan manfaat dari tanaman itu baik dari segi kesehatan yang dapat menyembuhkan berbagai macam permasalahan kesehatan dan juga manfaat dari segi perekonomian yang nilainya cukup tinggi dibandingkan dengan jagung, kacang-kacangan yang merupakan mata pencaharian mereka. Dilihat dari permintaan pasar sendiri terhadap cabe jamu ini sangat tinggi. Oleh karena itu prospek pembudidayaan cabe jamu sangat diperlukan, selain untuk memenuhi kebutuhan industri obat tradisional (jamu) dan kebutuhan lainnya didalam negeri juga untuk pasar luar negeri (ekspor). Pengabdian ini hadir untuk mengkontribusi manfaat dan prospek budidaya tanaman cabe jamu di Dusun Nung malaka Desa Daleman

Abstract

Sabellesen merupakan sebuah istilah yang diaplikasikan sebagai nama sebuah tradisi di kampung Cok-Pocok Daleman Galis. Tradisi ini biasanya direalisasikan pada setiap tanggal 11 bulan Hijriyah (bulen Madureh) yang esensinya berupa amalan bersalawat kepada Nabi, berzikir terhadap Allah, sadaqah yang dapat mempererat hubungan tali silaturahmi antar masyarakat. Terlepas dari itu, tradisi Sabellesen juga sebagai wadah bagi masyarakat, khususnya kampung Cok-Pocok Daleman sebagai kegiatan pencerahan agama serta meningkatkan solidaritas masyarakat kampung Cok-Pocok sendiri. Tradisi Sabellesen mempunyai beberapa orientasi urgen atau hikmah. Secara fungsional, Sabellesen diaplikasikan selain untuk bersadaqah, membaca salawat kepada Nabi dan membaca ayat suci al-Qur’an serta momen mempererat tali silaturahmi antar masyarakat, juga ada kenyakinan bahwa, tradisi Sabellesen dapat menolak balak dan memperlancar rizki. Penelitian ini berdasarkan penelitian lapangan hadir untuk mengkontribusikan serta meningkatkan pendidikan dan keagamaan masyarakat kampung Cok-Pocok Desa Daleman Galis Bangkalan.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit almost all regions of the world has affected various sectors of people's lives. Restrictions on community activities due to avoiding the spread of the virus prevent activities from being carried out properly. The educational, social and economic sectors coud not be avoided by this pandemic. Efforts to deal with virus transmission were also made. Various studies have been conducted to overcome these problems. One of the factors that can overcome the impact of a virus attack is the presence of good body immunity. The traditional Pokak Jahe drink is known to contain herbal ingredients that have properties that can increase the body's immunity from virus attacks. This community service activity in the form of socializing the making of Pokak Jahe aims to provide an understanding of the benefits and to socialize how to make Pokak Jahe drink as a traditional drink that is useful for increasing body immunity during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is hoped that the community will understand these benefits and be able to make Pokak Jake drinks for consumption and commercialization so that they can increase their immunity

Abstract

In this global era, the world of education is increasingly advanced and developing. Education is one of the references for assessing a country. A country can be said to be developing if it is seen from the education index and the number of illiterates of a country. Humans must adopt a culture of reading. By using the senses of sight and hearing, humans can get the information contained in the objects they "read" from books, newspapers, magazines and television. Reading interest is influenced by external and internal factors. The purpose of this activity is to provide guidance and understanding to the community (parents and children) about the importance of fostering interest in reading books and handling reading difficulties in children; Assisting the University in formulating policies, plans and programs related to community service activities, whether carried out by lecturers or students; Apply and develop science; as well as collaborating in the field of community service. However, there are still some obstacles, namely mothers need mentoring facilities, such as mobile libraries and sustainable tutors for their children. The targets of this community service program are to foster interest in reading, improve reading skills and help deal with reading difficulties in children. Based on the observations, it can be seen that the service activities that have been carried out can be said to be quite successful. This was shown by the positive response from mothers and children who enthusiastically participated in the workshop until it was finished. This workshop activity has been carried out. With 30 participants, consisting of parents and children. This community service is in the form of a workshop or gradual guidance consisting of the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. This activity is carried out with face-to-face events and reading practices that go well and smoothly.

Abstract

Higher Education is an educational unit that organizes Higher Education. Universities are required to carry out the tridharma which consists of teaching, research and community service. Community service carried out by students in the form of Real Work Lectures (KKN) is a form of implementing collaborative student learning experiences through the implementation of theory and practice that will be applied to problems found in the village so that efficient, effective and appropriate solutions and strategies can be determined to improve the economic well-being of the community. However, to carry out the Wira Desa Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT-WD) which has been determined by the Bima College of Economics (STIE), students who have passed the KKN registration administration must attend the KKNT-WD debriefing in order to improve knowledge competence before interacting with the community and knowing village potential for the preparation of work programs during activities at the KKN location. The form of debriefing for KKNT-WD is carried out face-to-face, lectures and questions and answers. The result of the debriefing is that students know and understand the general description and concept of the Wira Desa Real Work Lecture and its outputs in the form of publications in community service journals published online.

Abstract

The sacrificial activity as a form of community service as one of the tri dharmas of higher education is a means for the active role of the STIE Bima academic community. Eid al-Adha in 2021 will take place during the pandemic, so it will have an impact on the implementation of qurban worship. The form of creative activity driven by the academic community of the STIE Bima educational institution is the arrangement of the schedule for the distribution of sacrificial meat through the order number of distribution coupons. This is in addition to preventing mass crowds in the Covid-19 era in carrying out the PPKM (Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions) policies implemented by the regional government. It is hoped that the role of the academic community will become a means of literacy in building community participation while still paying attention to health safety in the Covid-19 era. The lecturers carry out the practice of managing sacrificial meat which can be seen from four functions starting from planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. The STIE Bima campus involved the entire academic community, both lecturers and staff, to actively play an active role in the success of the implementation of sacrifices around the campus environment. Community service by the Academic Community of the Bima College of Economics (STIE) in addition to building community enthusiasm, also increases the participation of lecturers and staff to carry out the tri dharma of higher education.

Abstract

This paper writes about the management of plastic waste in Southeast Sulawesi Province, a case study in Muna and Buton Regencies. This activity is in the form of sharing the author's knowledge with the Indonesian City Diplomacy Community partners in 2020-2021. This activity uses observation, socialization and interview methods to build the community's mindset. The author found that plastic waste management activities in Muna and Buton have been maximized. This is done because the community upholds the value of morality as a form of social responsibility. Cultural values ​​as the foundation of society in protecting the sea. This means that the authors in sharing knowledge only confirm community activities and provide little knowledge to the community. The community is very aware of protecting the sea as part of their identity, branding, and representation of toughness. The sea is the ancestral medium of the community that must be preserved as a form of appreciation. Because the sea is the source of the local community's economy. So, if the nature is damaged, it will damage the economy of the surrounding community. Dissemination and sharing of knowledge are effective because the community does not need to be equipped with much in protecting the sea. Cultural experience and moral principles guide them to be able to make the sea an asset of the future. The sea is the way humans relate to nature, natural resources.

Abstract

Agricultural products from year to year continue to decline. One of the factors that affect the decline in agricultural yields is the presence of Plant Pest Organisms (OPT) so that control measures are needed. Chemical control is one of the most widely used pest control by farmers. However, there are many negative impacts from the use of chemical pesticides for both the environment and human health. The relatively expensive price of chemical pesticides adds to the problems for farmers, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Vegetable pesticides can be used as an alternative for pest control during the Covid-19 pandemic because apart from being cheap, they are also safe for the environment and human health. The method used is cuunseling, training, and mentoring with the sample used is youth from the village source of Ketempah. The purpose of this activity is to make Sumber Ketempah village agriculture better, independent, and sustainable. The results of the implementation of the work program are 1 liter of papaya leaf vegetable pesticides and applied to tobacco plants at a dose of 10 ml/l to control armyworm pests.
