Abstract

Educational institutions, especially universities, a lot of scholarships are offered to students. Scholarships are also given to students at STIKOM UYELINDO in the form of PPA and BBM scholarships. Some problems that often occur such as inaccurate selection process because of the large number of scholarship applicants that must be adjusted to the existing criteria, then in determining the right students do not even get a scholarship and students who are not entitled to get a scholarship instead get a scholarship and the selection process is still manual because Student data will be compared one by one to the scholarship criteria so that the selection process requires accuracy and time so this is not efficient. The decision support system application is a way to deal with the problem of determining scholarship recipients. This application uses Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method was chosen because this method determines the weight of each predetermined criterion then continues in the normalization process in accordance with the equation in the SAW method and then continues with the ranking process to select the best alternative, in this case what is meant is students who are entitled to receive scholarships. The results of this study are in the form of an application decision support system for the selection of scholarship recipients using the web-based simple additive weighting method. Based on research results from the application of decision support systems for acceptance of ppa and fuel scholarships using the web-based saw method) this makes it easy for the student affairs bureau selection section to determine scholarship recipients according to existing criteria, faster and on target as expected.

Abstract

The learning process in children starts early. Children generally have limited knowledge depending on the information they receive. Visualization tends to be used to receive information and remember it in the brain. In general, children have a fairly high imagination power, so that in delivering learning material about a given material, they must pay attention to real aspects that can foster imagination, so that you can imagine what actually happened or a real form that can be described through visualization. Letters and numbers are the most basic and main things that must be learned and known by children, the packaging of the learning methods used is also expected to be able to attract children's interest, so that children are not easily bored or bored during the learning process. For that we need a multimedia application that will help the child's learning process. Making this application uses a lot of animation, images and added sound to make it easier for children to remember what they have learned

Abstract

iClass has been used at STIKOM Uyelindo Kupang in the 2020/2021 academic year. Because of its very young age, iClass certainly still has some shortcomings that must be corrected so that teaching and learning activities can run even better. During the period of use, there are several obstacles that are felt by students, namely when there is a change in the class schedule made by the lecturer in charge of the course, students do not get notification, causing students not to take part in lecture activities. This of course will affect the recap of the lecture attendance list because it will be considered absent without explanation. In accordance with the rules at STIKOM Uyelindo Kupang contained in the 2020 academic manual, if a student does not attend without a maximum of 20% information, the student will be declared a failure and must be reprogrammed. Based on these problems, Telegram's Instant Messaging (IM) information technology feature is needed which can help iClass to send instant messages (Instant Messaging) automatically to students via mobile devices. Instant Messaging (IM) Telegram is one of the IM applications that is widely used by people around the world. One of the advantages of IM Telegram is that there is a basis for using the Application Programming Interface (API) for the wider community. one of the advantages of Bots is the reliability to provide data to users which is not limited by time. The use of IM applications has increased dramatically from year to year, although the use of IM still cannot completely replace SMS, along with the increase in mobile device users, the demand for data also increases. Telegram application that can be downloaded for free on Google Playstore. Because it is not paid, Telegram application users also experience an increase.

Abstract

Computer applications have a very important role in life in today's modern society. Technology that develops according to the demands of the times is expected to be a supporting tool to deal with problems that arise in managing and solving problems that exist in the company or organization. Likewise, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of the Province of East Nusa Tenggara, especially in the section on Islamic Religious Education, is expected to provide precise and accurate information in processing the data for teachers receiving certification. This application is designed in such a way as to make it easier to process data on receiving teacher certification allowances at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion in East Nusa Tenggara Province to be faster, more precise, and efficient. This application is dynamic, meaning that the information provided can change at any time based on the current situation. The results of the application of the Application for Accepting Professional Allowances (Certification Allowances) for Teachers are to assist the office so that the process of collecting data on teachers receiving certification allowances can be easily, quickly, and efficiently.

Abstract

The Office of Investment and Integrated Services of the One Door Kupang District still uses the system manually in the process of calculating the additional allowances for employee income and the salaries of honorary staff. The weakness of the existing system is that the system is inefficient, takes a lot of time in the process of managing employee benefits and payroll honorary staff based on employee absence. So this research aims to design a model of Information Systems for Employee Benefits and Employee Payroll Calculation based on the Website at the Investment and Integrated Services One Door Service (DPMPTSP), as well as facilitate in managing data and employee benefits that are precise and accurate. The research method used is the method of literature and field. The calculation information system using the Personal Home Page (PHP) programming language and as its database using MySql thus can be implemented an information system for calculating employee benefits and payroll honorary staff at the Office of Investment and Integrated Services One Door Kupang District

Abstract

This study will discuss the use of the Complementary Filter method in hardware development that use gyroscope and accelerometer sensors, in order to see the ability of the sensor to read movement and assess how effective it is when used under movements with varying levels of aggressiveness. The complementary filter is a method that as the name suggests is to filter input data taken from the gyroscope and accelerometer sensors, this method is able to take data from both sensors and combine them into a single data that is more accurate by ignoring the shortcomings and using the advantages of each sensors The device that will be used is the MPU6050 GY521, this is a device that has both the two sensors on a single PCB so it is easier and more efficient to use, it has 3 axes meaning that this device can read motion in 3-dimensional space, the microcontroller used is a a variant of Arduino with an ATmega processor. After doing the test it was found that the use of the complementary filter method will greatly help the accuracy of the data because the filtered data contains very small noise with a significant difference when compared to raw data without using the filtering method, but because delay still can happens, wich cannot be helped by using this filtering method, this device can only be used with certain levels of movement

Abstract

Investment in information systems and information technology is quite expensive. The value of benefits obtained through investment in information systems and information technology must be measurable. Not a few organizations investing in information technology are not able to show the benefits of information systems and information technology both visible (tangible) and invisible (intangible). ProjakopMitra Sejahtera Cooperative as a producer cooperative places information technology as part of its business strategy. Information systems and information technology strategies at the Projakop Cooperative are needed to plan the use of technology and information systems that are in line with the cooperative's business objectives. Strategic planning of Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT) uses one of the internal business analysis approaches and IS/IT is carried out using SWOT tools. The results of the SWOT analysis can identify potential weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats. The results of the SWOT analysis show that strength is at the very high level of management and management. But on the same side, there are staff/employees who have a weakness in the lack of creativity in optimizing the existing IS/IT facilities. This can be seen in the activities of staff/employees who use social media more during working hours instead of working on the business activities of the Projakop Cooperative. The results of other SWOT analysis have four categories as indicators by having each SWOT matrix for information systems and information technology strategies, including governance, infrastructure, human resources, and applications.

Abstract

Public High School 1 Nubatukan Lembata is one of the institutions engaged in education in Lembata Regency. The process of delivering information to Public High School 1 Nubatukan such as value information, lesson schedules, student data, teacher data, student guardian or parent data, extracurricular data, announcements, subject data and data have not been computerized, meaning that information delivery is still carried out orally or pasted on a bulletin board and this can result in delays in delivering information and work processes that are less effective and efficient can hinder the performance of these educational institutions. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, literature study, observation and questionnaires, making this application using Adobe Dreamweaver and MysQl database. The results of this study concluded that a web-based school information system was created and applied the application to assist schools in delivering effective school information

Abstract

With the Presidential Regulation number 95 of 2019 concerning the Electronic-SPBE-based Government System, every local government is obliged to implement SPBE services. In order to implement the Kupang City Samrt City road map and Kupang City SPBE master plan, it is necessary to map and evaluate the current condition of information system application services in each sub-district in Kupang City. To ensure the maturity level of services or application of information systems in the sub-district government in Kupang City, it is necessary to evaluate SPBE services using indicators based on the Regulation of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform No. 5 of 2018 concerning Guidelines for Evaluation of Electronic-Based Government Systems (SPBE). This study aims to evaluate the maturity level of the SPBE service domain, including government administration services and public services in the sub-district government environment in Kupang City. The approach is based on Permenpan No. 5 of 2018 Indicators, aspects and on the SPBE service domain. The value of the SPBE service domain in the sub-district scope in the Kupang City Government is 0.132. With the maturity level, it has not reached a value of 1. The maturity level is at level 0 which is not included in the maturity criteria. Because the maturity level of SPEBE services is between 1 to 5. The maturity level has not yet reached level 1. The level 1 criteria is that SPBE services are provided in the form of one-way information. Likewise, the level of maturity in the aspects of government administration and public services does not reach level 1.

Abstract

The PDS (Pegadaian Digital Service) application is an innovation and new breakthrough by PT. Pegadaian (Persero). The Betun Unit Pawnshop Office is currently in the process of socializing the PDS Application to all pawnshop office customers. The features in the PDS Application apart from offering a gold savings feature, Pegadaian Digital also offers online pawning features, installment/billing information, maturity information, and several other interesting features. This feature offers several advantages to users. As a new application for customers, of course it will take time for the acceptance process in terms of features and usability. Even the employees of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) has the right to assess and evaluate the content offered on the application. Making this application aims to make it easier for customers and prospective customers to interact indirectly with Pegadaian, namely by knowing the up-to-date gold price, checking bills, making payments, and others. With the Digital Pegadaian application, customers no longer need to come to the outlet to make payments, they only need to go through the application and then pay according to the bank that has been determined by Pegadaian or through ATM, SMS Banking, and M-Banking. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the PDS (Pegadaian Digital Service) application in terms of usability using the Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) method and create a table of recommended solutions from a list of usability problems. The WEBUSE method is used as a tool to measure the usability level of the PDS (Pegadaian Digital Service) application based on the perception of the end user (in this case the management of PT. Pegadaian and its customers). Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to all employees and customers who come to make transactions or in the process of the PDS Application socialization agenda. The results of this study are expected to be input for the Management of PT. Pegadaian, especially the Betun Unit Pawnshop Office in an effort to implement the Digital Service Pawnshop Application.
