JIEES : Journal of Islamic Education at Elementary School adalah jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Prodi PGMI FT IAI Al Khoziny Buduran Sidoarjo, terbitkan dua kali setahun pada periode Juni dan Desember sebagai wahana kajian penelitian ilmiah dalam pendidikan, pembelajaran, pengajaran, dan pengabdian masyarakat. The purpose of making this journal is to find out the availability and use of learning media for map learning in Social Sciences (IPS) class V at MI Al-Muniroh 1, as well as to find out the efforts made by teachers in utilizing the learning media for maps. As well as to describe the response of teachers and students to the map as a medium of learning, find out the attractiveness of the media of learning maps based on the results of an online questionnaire, and find out the increase in student learning outcomes after using the learning media of the map. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method, which is a method that uses data from the results of a questionnaire that has been distributed and filled out by the fifth grade students of MI Al-Muniroh 1 Ujung Pangkah. From the observations of 100% of fifth grade students of MI Al-Muniroh 1 Ujung Pangkah agree that map learning media has an effect on improving student learning outcomes because with the learning media map, students can more easily understand the explanations explained by the teacher.

Education is very important to improve the quality of life of every person. In education we are taught many things ranging from the value of life, general knowledge, morals and a variety of other sciences. In education there is the term KBM (Teaching and Learning Activities) where there are students and teachers who are connected in the delivery of knowledge or information as we know it happens in schools. But lately a virus outbreak has arisen that is troubling the world's population. Covid-19 virus or coronavirus is a disease originating from China and experts state that strong indications that the cause of SARS, this virus causes respiratory infections that spread through respiratory secretions, then the nose in the walls of the upper respiratory tract, some facts mention that this coronavirus raises many deaths. In this case, the government rules out to stop any activities and switch to stay and do activities at home. All institutions are closed as well as the world of education. So it switches to studying at home using an online system. For this reason, this study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the co-19 pandemic in teaching and learning activities, especially the MI/SD level. This research was conducted at the home of each writer precisely in Bojonegoro, Lamongan, Sidoarjo and Surabaya by observing younger siblings who were still in elementary/MI school on March 17 to 18 April 2020. This study used a qualitative methodology. The data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study note that social media is a science in learning activities during the co-19 pandemic, but in addition to being a bridge of knowledge, social media also has a negative influence on elementary school age children. Therefore the role of parents is very important in supervising children during the online learning process because elementary school age children/MIs are still at an unstable level and very much need guidance in carrying out online-based learning so that nothing unexpected happens.

Since the effort to prevent Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the form of social and physical distance control in various lines of life. The policy is based on the number of victims which continues to grow and its distribution increasingly difficult to control in Indonesia. Especially after the government has reacted successively with various actions such as establishing alert status, disaster emergencies, non-natural disasters, extension of disaster emergency status to large-scale social restrictions (PSBB). The policy, the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia immediately made a derivative policy in the field of education through the Circular of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 3 of 2020 concerning Prevention of COVID-19 in the Education unit, all education from elementary school to tertiary level in Indonesia to take decisive steps on the appeal of the government to carry out learning activities based on E-Learning. For the sake of implementing E-Learning, efforts such as application-based learning began to be applied. In the midst of this pandemic COVID-19 is ready or not, has opened the public's eye to creative and adaptive thinking by changing the model of teaching and learning activities that were initially based on conventional learning into learning based on e-learning and making new breakthroughs, from the normative paradigm of the real world to the virtual world with utilizing technology in every teaching and learning process.

In current conditions it is highly recommended for all educational institutions to carry out online or online-based learning. Online implementation is carried out without meeting face to face with students. However, online implementation in PAUD really requires active participation from parents because of the condition of students who have not fully been able to access the media in online implementation. The purpose of this study is to describe online learning based on collaboration between parents and teachers in early childhood education. The method in this research is using descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study are expected that parents will be more motivated to take a proactive role in the learning process of children through online learning based on collaboration between parents and teachers.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of environmental media as a learning resource on the learning outcomes of class III science subjects at MI Al-Amalul Khair Palembang. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods and a one group pretest-posttest design research design. The data collection techniques used in this study were tests and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, linearity test, normality test and hypothesis test. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the sig value of 0.000 is more than <0.05 and the t count is 10.617, which is greater than the t table at the 5% level, namely 1.699. The results of this data analysis indicate that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence between the pretest and posttest. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of environmental media as a learning resource on the learning outcomes of class III science subjects at MI Al-Amalul Khair Palembang.

The science learning process is still predominantly centered on the teacher, the methods and learning models are less varied. In teaching science concepts, it is only obtained from the teacher so that students' insight and activity are lacking. This makes the student bored, passive, and less active so that the learning seem monotonous. The aim of research to determine the effect of the jigsaw model of student learning activities in science lessons. The method used is the experimental method, namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group used jigsaw cooperative learning for grade IVA students at SDN 12 Entikong and control class for conventional learning for grade IVB students at SDN 12 Entikong. Based on the research results there is an influence on jigsaw cooperative learning. It is known that the value is 3.063 3,063 tcount > ttabel 1,063 and the average analysis is below 0,866 and the average is 4,225, so that the difference in the average score is 2,545. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model on the learning activities of fourth grade students of SDN 12 Entikong.

The high number of students with learning disability in Banyuwangi Regency requires teachers to implement appropriate strategies in the learning process. Learning disability can be interpreted as a condition in the learning process which characterized by obstacles that are realized or not by people who experience in psychological, sociological, or physiological in the whole learning process that interfere the listening, speaking, reading, writing, and counting. The purposes of this study are: (1) Determine the application of teacher strategies who have learning disability in SDN 3 Karangrejo Banyuwangi. (2) Understand the factors support and inhibit teacher strategies in helping students’disability. The method applied is a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that, (1) The strategies implemented by teachers are applying cooperative learning models so that students who have learning disability can work together with other students, implementing classes with a pull out system which means students who have learning disability can learn with the teacher at a certain time by using several learning media (2) Supporting factors of teacher strategies are supported by parents and the existence of private tutor. While the factors inhibiting are students' mood swings and inadequate school facilities.

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar dan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa Melalui Penggunaan Metode Demonstrasi Pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika di SD Negeri 2 Neglasari Tasikmalaya Asep Eka Nugraha; Suyatmin

The purpose of this study is to improve students' learning outcomes and learning activities in math subjects using demonstration methods. This study uses a class action research approach. This research was conducted as many as two cycles. The instruments used are, (1) Teacher performance observation sheet, (2) student activity sheet, (3) student learning result sheet. This instrument serves to collect research data. The results showed that in cycle I in learning planning obtained 3.08% and in cycle II the average score reached 3.11% with an increase of 0.3%. In the implementation of learning in cycle I the value obtained by 3.71% and in cycle II reached 3.59% with an increase of 0.12%. Then in the student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained 63.64% while in cycle II obtained 71.21%, with an increase of 7.57%. Data obtained from student activity in cycle I averaged 67.87% and average cycle II score of 72.12%, with an increase of 5.05%. During the learning process, in the first and second cycle students show high learning motivation that affects the achievement of learning outcomes. Thus the implementation of this class action research until the second cycle, and declared successful.

The use of audiovisual media is a strategy in student learning to determine the effect and development of teacher performance on students. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Civics learning, especially in Islamic Elementary School and Elementary School, contained audiovisual learning using Power point as a tool for presenting material that was well known among users of personal computers and laptops. In this study using several research methods in the form of secondary data with observations and experiences in accordance with the theme of learning through the media as well as utilizing library resources. Through the Audiovisual facility with Power Point, it shows the results of research in the form of the development of the reasoning power of students who are capable of actually being and increasing the learning process for students to a more professional level in the use of learning technology.
