Abstract

By utilizing the Time Token learning model, this study aims to measure students' courage to voice their opinions. The teacher uses the time token model in an effort to give students a sense of courage to voice their opinions in the hope that it will encourage students to do the same. This research is structured as follows by considering the background of the problem: Can using the time token concept to teach students Indonesian language material can increase students' courage to voice their opinions? At the Al-Maslachah Islamic Elementary School it has been proven that this teaching model can help Class VI children to develop the courage to express their opinions. Classroom Action research method used in this study. From the results of the study and analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the time token learning model in Indonesian language learning can arouse the courage of the sixth grade students of Al-Maslachah Islamic Elementary School, according to the findings of the research and analysis conducted. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers use the Time Token learning model when teaching Indonesian.

Abstract

The problem in this study is how individual counseling works to change introverted behavior in elementary school students. This study uses a qualitative research model by conducting observations and interviews with the aim of improving students’ social skills so that they can further develop their quality and develop their competencies optimally. This counseling guidance is carried out by approaching students so that they can teach them good social skills, namely being able to communicate and increase students’ self-confidence. The results of the study indicate that the application of individual counseling services provided to students is very good and the implementation of counseling services shown is by changes in student behavior from being introverted to being lowly introverted.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems of students who have difficulty in solving math story problems. This study aims to describe what difficulties are experienced by fifth grade students in solving math story problems, especially on the material of geometry. This research method uses qualitative methods. The subjects in this study were students and class V.B teachers of SD Negeri 96 Palembang. Data collection techniques used are in the form of documentation and interviews. The results showed that the difficulties experienced by class V.B students in solving math story problems in geometry materials were based on the factual error category, namely the difficulty in determining what was known and what was asked in the math story problems, the difficulty in focusing on solving math story problems and the difficulty in understanding the problems. math stories; conceptual errors, namely difficulty understanding math story problems, difficulty focusing on math story problems and difficulty performing number operations; operating errors, difficulties in performing multiplication operations, especially if the numbers are in the tens and hundreds, difficulties in performing arithmetic operations, difficulties in performing mixed arithmetic operations and difficulties in performing multiplication operations with decimal numbers; The principle error of difficulty experienced by students is not knowing the spatial formula contained in the problem and difficulties in remembering the spatial formula contained in the problem.

Abstract

The school garden is one of the facilities and infrastructure found in the school environment. School gardening has several benefits, for schools, namely to beautify the school environment and give a feeling of coolness, because it is surrounded by beautiful plants. School gardens can motivate students to study because with a beautiful and cool school environment, they will feel at home and eager to learn. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of the school garden as a motivation to love plants and the natural surroundings. In this study the method used is a qualitative method. In this study the subjects used were grade 1 UPTD SDN Kamal 1 students with a total of 33 students. The data collection technique used in this study was direct observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The analysis technique used is in accordance with the type of research that is taken, namely qualitative. Tamanization is an activity that provides facilities to support the learning process for students. School gardening has several benefits, for schools, namely to beautify the school environment and give a feeling of coolness, because it is surrounded by beautiful plants. School gardens can motivate students to study because with a beautiful and cool school environment, they will feel at home and eager to learn.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to describe the teacher's role in Differentiated Learning in ABA Al-Furqon Nitikan Kindergarten. This type of research was carried out using descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at ABA Nidotan Kindergarten, Yogyakarta City. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation study of teacher learning plans, and unstructured interviews with class teachers. The instruments used were observation instruments, questionnaires, and document analysis guidelines. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative techniques, Milles & Huberman (2010), namely the activities in the analysis include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Based on the results of the research activities carried out, it can be concluded that: (1) class B-2 students have diverse characteristics both in terms of ability, background and climate of inclusiveness; & (2) in general, teachers have carried out differentiated learning both in terms of educational strategies with differentiated content (content), processes, and products. However, it cannot be maximized due to the limitations that the teacher has in applying differentiated learning.

Abstract

This writing aims to describe the learning process that applies the cooperative learning model assisted by learning videos on the material of how to save electrical energy as well as attitudes of cooperation and student learning outcomes. The learning model used in this lesson is a cooperative learning model assisted by learning video media on the material let's save energy for class IV Elementary School. The learning process takes place referring to the six steps of the cooperative learning model, namely (1) present goal and set; (2) present information); (3) organize students into learning; (4) assist team work and study; (5) test on materials; and (6) provide recognition.
