Abstract

The increasing number of tourist visits made in Indonesia, of course, must be balanced with the increase in hotels in Indonesia. One of them is in Surabaya, in that city many hotels, from non-star to five-star, are built in the city. This study aims to determine whether workload and compensation affect employee loyalty at Hotel Tanjung Surabaya. The data collection technique used is saturated sampling, where samples are taken from the entire population. The sample used in the study was 30 respondents. This research uses quantitative methods, data collection methods use a few interviews and questionnaires using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using software called Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of this study prove that compensation and workload have a significant positive effect on employee loyalty.

Abstract

The discussion room for the Work Creation Bill is officially located at the DPR RI Building. The discussion, which involved various interest groups, was deemed insufficient to accommodate the “rejecting” aspirations expressed by various community groups. Several community groups who are members of various civil society movements, held demonstrations outside the DPR RI Building as a venue for discussion of the Job Creation Bill. Demonstrations that also took place in these areas have caused damage to public facilities. According to Habermas's opinion, this condition is the result of structural domination, where the ruling group directs various forms of policy with instrumental communication that will not create understanding. In agreement with Gramsci, in this case, there is a political hegemony between one group against another. The government, which has an interest in immediately completing the deliberation of the Job Creation Bill, through the power of political domination, seeks to exercise hegemony against the civil society movement, causing violent conflict. Conflict resolution in the discussion of the Work Creation Bill is structurally carried out by using the state law approach in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations. In accordance with the mandate of the constitution, all matters relating to regulations, a judicial review can be carried out at the Constitutional Court.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the conflict resolution carried out by the Prosperous Justice Party in handling Fahri Hamzah’s case. This study uses organizational control theory. This study uses a qualitative methodology with literature review studies. Based on orgatizational control theory, PKS uses the method of domination:suppressive violence. PKS decision to dismiss Fahri Hamzah is a method of domination or suppression. Organizational Control Theory is a theory that regulates the ways of communication that are able to control employess. Organizational control is carried out in four ways: First, simple control or the uses of power that is on going and open. Second, technical control or use of technology tools. Third, bureaucracy, which is the use of organizational procedures and formal rules, as described by Weber. Employees are provided with a guidebook that include policies to follow, memos, repost reviews, meeting reviews and performance reviews which are used to convey other expectations. Fourth, concertive control. There are several methods used in conflict resolution: First, conflict stimulation methods, conflict reduction and conflict resolution. Second, the conflict reduction method is used to reduse the hostility caused by conflict. Third, conflict resolution methods, which are carried out through domination or supression, compromise, and integrarive problem solving. This study uses a qualitative methodology with a literature review study. Based on orgnizational control theory, PKS uses the method of domination or suppresive ciolence. Abstract

Kajian ini membahas tentang analisis framing media online (cnnindonesia.com dan tempo.co) terkait isu pemberitaan terpilihnya Prabowo sebagai Menteri Pertahanan pada masa kabinet Presiden Jokowi periode 2019-2024. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui konstruksi pemberitaan Pilkada Prabowo sebagai Menteri Pertahanan pada masa kabinet Presiden Jokowi periode 2019-2024 di media online cnnindonesia.com dan tempo.co edisi 22-24 Oktober 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan framing model theory oleh Robert N. Entman, dengan penggunaan paradigma penelitian konstruktivisme, didukung dengan penggunaan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa baik media online cnnindonesia.com maupun tempo.co mengonstruksikan isu ke dalam ranah politik. Cnnindonesia.com mengonstruksikan berita yang lebih terarah kepada pembaca bahwa keputusan Jokowi mengundang Prabowo adalah hal yang baik, hal ini didukung oleh penggunaan sumber-sumber dari latar belakang politik yang menyatakan dukungannya terhadap keputusan Jokowi untuk merangkul Prabowo masuk kabinet sebagai Menteri Pertahanan. Sedangkan tempo.co mengonstruksi pemberitaan yang lebih mengarahkan pembaca bahwa keputusan Jokowi mengundang Prabowo adalah sebuah kesalahan dan sesuatu yang dianggap janggal, mengingat betapa panasnya persaingan di antara mereka di Pilpres 2019 silam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi produser pada program Betawi Ceplas Ceplos dalam upayanya melestarikan budaya Betawi. Tujuan peneliti adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi seorang produser pada program Betawi Ceplas Ceplos dalam upaya melestarikan budaya Betawi. Teori yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah teori kendali organisasi Phillip Tompkins, George Cheney dan rekan-rekan untuk mendapatkan data dari penelitian ini. Metode penelitian ini pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan paradigma post­-positivisme. Subjek penelitiannya adalah produser, asisten produser, dan penyiar dalam mendapatkan data yang akurat pada program Betawi Ceplas Ceplos. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara secara mendalam serta observasi non-partisipan yang dilakukan kepada key informan, informan I, dan informan II. Data Lainnya juga diperoleh dari dokumentasi, informan, dan berbagai data sumber lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa strategi yang dilakukan produser pada program Betawi Ceplas Ceplos di Bens Radio pada kendali sederhana semua komunikasi memakai bahasa Betawi, pada kendali teknis produser memasukkan kekhasan budaya Betawi di pemutaran lagu, jingle, dan insert, pada kendali birokratis semua kegiatan yang bersifat birokratis dan peraturan dibuat dengan bahasa Betawi, kendali konsertif menjadi bagian dari evaluasi produser terhadap program dan tim produksi. Produser selalu mengedepankan visi dan misi Bens Radio yang terus berupaya melestarikan budaya Betawi dalam program siarannya dari mulai pengemasan program, tema, isi konten, dan pemilihan penyiar yang dapat membawakan program Betawi Ceplas Ceplos dengan khas yang sangat Betawi sesuai dengan segmentasi audiens-nya.
