Abstract

This article explains the implementation of digital school management through the Smart Classroom (SCR) program. This qualitative research approach uses descriptive analysis—data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The study results show that a digital school is an educational institution with a learning process using digital equipment, books, and applications. Digital school management is establishing and implementing IT-based programs through the Smart Classroom program using software and hardware products. Second, Smart Classroom Learning at Al-Azhar 37 Islamic Middle School Pekanbaru uses an iPad. Educators create web-based, Google, and application-based learning materials. They were giving assignments/homework through tests and quizzes. Assessment of exam results through the Google form, students make important notes equipped with photo and video features that can be shared using the notes application as a collaboration with friends. This implementation has received support from the school by facilitating internet access via Wi-Fi hotspots within 24 hours. Third, the urgency of Smart Classrooms in educational institutions will make learning more effective, innovative, fun, comprehensive, and time efficient. The implications of this research are very beneficial for all elements of the school because it can facilitate the current student-centered learning process.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how the development of the Apostle Ulul 'Azmi sirah module in improving the religious attitude of students at SMA An-Nadwa Binjai. This study uses a 4-D model; namely definition, design, development, and deployment. Sampling used a random sampling technique with class XI A as the control class and class XI as the experimental class with a total of 35 students. The results of this study state that the feasibility of the Sirah Rasulullah Ulul 'Azmi module is feasible to use through 3 expert validation tests, the feasibility of the module is seen from 3 components namely material experts, language and design. The validation results of the three validators are: the average score of the content component is 77.27, the linguistic component is 83.65, and the presentation component is 81.73. These three scores indicate a good/proper category, which means that the Sirah Rasulullah Ulul 'Azmi module can be used with a little revision. As for the effectiveness of the Sirah Rasul Ulul 'Azmi module in increasing students' religious attitudes when seen from the test results between the control class and the experimental class, with the control class's average score of 69.71, while the experimental class's average score was 75.52. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the Sirah Rasulullah Ulul 'Azmi module is effective in increasing religious attitudes in class XI SMA An-Nadwa in PAI learning.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Test and analyze whether Servant Leadership Style has an effect on loyalty, and will be answered through questionnaires distributed to respondents and then tested with several tests offered to determine the effect of these variables. 2) Test and analyze whether empowerment has an effect on loyalty, and will be answered by processing data by conducting several tests to determine the effect of these variables 3) Testing and analyzing whether Servant Leadership Style has an effect on loyalty through empowerment, and will be answered by processing respondent data through several The test is used to find out whether Servant Leadership Style has an effect on loyalty, or the empowerment variable has more influence on loyalty. The research method uses a quantitative approach that explores each variable and tests hypotheses using a structural equation model. The results showed that the overall hypothesis tested has a positive and significant value. Servant Leadership on Loyalty through empowerment has a fairly good value and can be said to have a positive and significant effect. This shows that the empowerment variable as an intervening variable can contribute to fostering loyalty to members.

Abstract

This article has used a type of qualitative research with a descriptive research approach (case study) because it describes management or descriptive interpretation of the extracurricular management of muhadharah at Madrasah Aliyah Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang. The main data sources in this study were interview data with the Head of the Madrasah, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, teachers and Muhadharah extracurricular coaches, and 18 student representatives from each class. The findings of this study are: Planning (Planning) extracurricular muhadharah is going well as seen by involving all components responsible for the stability of activities carried out to achieve madrasa objectives, such as by holding meetings, determining classes, schedules, materials, and so on. Coaches and teachers who function as human resources for extracurricular muhadharah activities can carry out their duties properly. The implementation (actuating) of extracurricular muhadharah activities shows that madrasa leaders/representatives are less proactive in providing motivation that can generate enthusiasm at work. Supervision (controlling) extracurricular muhadharah activities at Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang Madrasah Aliyah, this activity did not run optimally because the madrasa leadership did not formally request a written report on the activities carried out, and informally the leadership did not ask for an explanation verbally or directly on activities that have been carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and describe the problems of teaching at SMP Negeri 7 Prabumulih. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study research type. The main data or key informants in this study were the main subjects of the study, namely the principal and teachers (PAI, Natural Sciences, Social Studies, and English) of 10 SMP Negeri 7 Prabumulih concerned. The determination of respondents was based on teachers who were given teaching assignments not in accordance with their field of expertise and educational background. (determination of respondents and those studied). Secondary data or supporting data in this study include school principals, teachers, and documentation data. From the results of the study it was found that the problems of teaching teachers at SMPN 7 Prabumulih, teachers who were appointed to teach and were not in accordance with their areas of expertise encountered various problems in the process such as difficulty understanding the material, and students who also had difficulty absorbing explanations from the teacher, even though the school provided a strategy as an alternative to facilitate the teacher's task but still, as a necessity, a teacher is indeed required to harmonize between his field of expertise and his teaching duties.

Abstract

Character education is present as a solution for the degradation of morals and morality where character education is designed by educators with the aim of forming characters who have good character and behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the religious character of students and discipline as well as the impact of character on student discipline attitudes at the State Primary School 2 Sungai Penuh. This type of research uses qualitative research and data collection techniques, namely observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study are that the formation of student discipline through religious activities at SMP N 4 Sungai Penuh is carried out by religious teachers, namely through worship practices such as prayer, ablution, the practice of memorizing short verses and reading prayers. While the impact of religious attitudes on students' discipline in SMP N 4 Sungai Penuh that the visible impact of students is the religious character of students through the practice of worship in religious subjects can be seen from changes in students' attitudes and behavior.

Abstract

The digital era produces people's lives that are more practical. As a result, not a few academic communities choose a new culture that is identical more instantly than the old culture. The development of a good academic culture is closely related to the role and function of effective education management because this is a reference for improving the quality of the educational process. This study aims to explore how management plans the development strategy of PTKIN's academic culture in the digitalization era. The research method applied is a qualitative method with a type of literature review (literature review). The technical data analysis is to use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study were found. First, one of the reasons for the decline of PTKIN's academic culture in the digitalization era is the ineffective management of education. As a result, various facts indicate a lot of negative news about violations of academic cultures, such as; 1) rampant cases of plagiarism in tertiary institutions, 2) lack of a culture of reading, discussion, and research among students, 3) sexual harassment by unscrupulous university officials, and even 4) forgery of diplomas and even buying and selling of degrees. Second, in order to overcome the degradation of academic culture in tertiary institutions, several steps are needed: 1) good management involving several authorized parties, 2) implementing higher education autonomy effectively, and 3) utilizing resources that understand information technology within the PTKIN environment.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah bangsa yang terdiri dari aneka budaya, suku, golongan, agama, etnis, ras, kelas sosial, dan sebagainya. Meski terbangun atas bermacam keragaman, setiap bangsa memiliki latar belakang dalam meningkatkan hubungan pendidikan multikultural yang harmonis, humanis dan edukatif. Progresivisme merupakan aliran filsafat pendidikan modern yang menghendaki adanya perubahan pelaksanaan pendidikan menjadi lebih maju yang mengutamakan peserta didik sebagai central belajar dan guru sebagai fasilitator, pembimbing, dan pengarah yang bert ingin merubah praktik pendidikan yang selama ini terkesan teoritik doktrinik menjadi lebih demokratis humansitik yang lebih menghargai potensi dan kemampuan anak. Latar belakang ini menjadi landasan pendidikan multikultural perlu dikembangkan melalui pendekatan yang lebih terarah dan terukur untuk diterapkan. Melihat bahwa Pendidikan multikultural harus mampu mengakui keberagaman etnik dan budaya masyarakat suatu bangsa maka Pendidikan multikultural juga suatu bentuk upaya dalam mewujudkan hubungan yang harmonis, yaitu kegiatan edukasi dengan maksud menumbuh kembangkan kearifan pemahaman, sikap, kesadaran, dan perilaku peserta didik terhadap keaneka ragaman budaya, masyarakat, dan agama. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research (pustaka). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan terkait bagaimana hakikat pendidikan multikultural, perspektif progresivisme dalam pendidikan multikultural, dan bagaimana keterikatan progresivisme dalam pendidikan multikultural.

Abstract

This study aims to examine empirically the variables in the inculcation of ASWAJA values (tawasuth, tawazun, tasamuh) in students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Syirkah Salafiyah Pondok Pesantren Ad Dimyati Jenggawah Jember in an effort to strengthen religious moderation. It is hoped that the research will provide a scientific solution to reject and counteract the notions of radical and fanatical Islamic movements that seek to recruit young people, especially students, namely by instilling ASWAJA values in an effort to strengthen religious moderation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through observation, documentation, and interview. Interviews were conducted with school principals, waka. Students, ASWAJA teachers and some student. The results showed that 1) the inculcation of ASWAJA values (tawasuth, tawazun, tasamuh) was manifested through ASWAJA learning in each class with meetings once a week and through the habituation of NU's amaliah activities in daily activities; 2) the inculcation of ASWAJA values is an indication of strengthening religious moderation in the community, especially in schools.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationships between work environment, work engagement, employee well-being, and performance at PT. DBN. The study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive research method. The population consists of employees from PT. DBN and a sample of 145 individuals were selected for analysis. Data analysis was conducted using the Smart PLS software version 3.0, utilizing a Partial Least Squares (PLS) test, which is a variant-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The research findings indicate that the work environment does not significantly affect employee performance at PT. DBN. However, a positive relationship exists between the work environment and employee well-being. Furthermore, work engagement has a positive impact on employee performance, and it also influences employee well-being positively. Employee well-being, in turn, demonstrates a significant influence on employee performance. Additionally, work engagement indirectly affects employee performance through the mediating role of employee well-being, as does the work environment. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the relationships between work environment, work engagement, employee well-being, and performance. They highlight the importance of creating a conducive work environment and promoting work engagement and well-being among employees to enhance overall organizational performance.
