Abstract

SearchNEasy is a Malaysia-based Web Development Company providing leading customized web solutions for worldwide business over the past 20 years. People, process, and technology are three elements for successful business transformation. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic affects the workload of employees as the demand for the company's service for web design increases due to the Movement Control Order (MCO), where the Malaysian government commands the closure of all private and government sectors, except those deemed as essential needs. This research intends to understand the factors contributing to employees’ performance. This study was conducted through primary and secondary research with respondents and existing data. Through this study, employees’ performance, job stress, job demand, organizational culture, and organizational rewards were analyzed. It was shown that job stress is one of the factors of employee performance in SearchNEasy due to the increase in workload and lack of employees during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the KUBE Bintang Terang Program, 2) the role of KUBE in increasing community income, the success of the KUBE Bintang Terang program, 3) supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the KUBE Bintang Terang program. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were managers and members of the KUBE program. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Triangulation used is source triangulation and technique. The results of the study show that: 1) the KUBE program is a group / place for learning to obtain knowledge and skills and get the opportunity through activities in making embroidery clothes and beautiful brooches. 2) The role of KUBE in binding community income is a benchmark for KUBE programs. 3) The success of the KUBE program to be able to increase income and family welfare which is characterized by increasing members' income, social relations are well established. 4) Factors supporting the establishment of cooperation between managers, members, suppliers of raw materials, markets, government, the motivation for entrepreneurship, maintaining trust and market demand. The inhibiting factor is the lack of capital, sometimes there are unfavorable relationships between members, giving rise to a sense of boredom, lack of market demand in certain months and the number of competitors. The recommendation for the KUBE Bintang Terang program is to hold regular meetings, increase capital, and carry out promotions to areas that have not been reached. Abstract

J. CO Donuts & Coffee is a franchise of café restaurant chains that sell donuts, coffee and frozen yogurt. The company is owned by Johnny Andrean Group. Since 2005, J.CO Donuts & Coffee becomes the fastest growing donut & coffee chain in Indonesia. They have successfully penetrated into the local market in Indonesia against Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts. They also have been rapidly expanding their store chains throughout South East Asia countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Hong Kong. Analysis of J.CO Donuts & Coffee will be done to know more on the position of the company in the market. SWOT analysis is needed to know JCO Donuts & Coffee marketing situation.

Abstract

Langowan is a strategic center of economic activity because it is a meeting place for several sub-districts in Minahasa and Mitra. Therefore, the authors see a market opportunity to start a business selling snacks, including selling wet and dry cakes in the Langowan shopping complex. By considering the research objectives that have been set, this research tends to use the "the out-side in" or "opportunity recognition" approach, which is an approach that emphasizes the idea of responding to market needs as the key to success. Based on the "in-side out" approach, to start a business, a prospective entrepreneur must have business competence.

Abstract

Family business has a key role in economic growth and labor. Entrepreneurship education(EE) is any activity that aims to inculcate the mindset or mindset about entrepreneurship, fostering the intention, attitude and competence of a person in developing his potential by realizing creative and innovative behavior. Objectives to be achieved in research are (1)to analyze the influence of family background variables on entrepreneurship intention. (2)Analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education from variable to entrepreneurship intention. (3) Analyze the influence of creativity variable on entrepreneurship intention. (4)To analyze the effect of family background variables, entrepreneurship education and creativity together on the intention of entrepreneurship. This research is a descriptive research using quantitative approach. The location of this research is at Sahid University of Surakarta with total of 100 respondents. Data collection used in this research is questionnaire, observation and literature. The results obtained that the three independent variables are family background, entrepreneurship education and creativity positively influences entrepreneurship intention. Hypothesis testing using t test shows that all independent variables have significant less than 0.05. Then through the F test known that the three independent variables proved to have a significant influence together on entrepreneurship intention. The authors suggest that future research is needed approaches in Entrepreneurship education for others college students or university.

Abstract

Toyota Motor Corporation is a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan. In 2017, Toyota's corporate structure consisted of 364,445 employees worldwide and, as of September 2018, was the sixth-largest company in the world by revenue. As of 2017, Toyota is the world's second-largest automotive manufacturer. Toyota was the world's first automobile manufacturer to produce more than 10 million vehicles per year which it has done since 2012, when it also reported the production of its 200-millionth vehicle. As of July 2014, Toyota was the largest listed company in Japan by market capitalization and by revenue. Toyota is the world's market leader in sales of hybrid electric vehicles, and one of the largest companies to encourage the mass-market adoption of hybrid vehicles across the globe. Toyota is also a market leader in hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles. Cumulative global sales of Toyota and Lexus hybrid passenger car models achieved the 10 million milestones in January 2017. Its Prius family is the world's top selling hybrid nameplate with over 6 million units sold worldwide as of January 2017.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the role of DPRD budgeting function and organizational commitment on the potential for fraud. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling using the saturated sampling method. The data used are primary data using a questionnaire. Data was successfully collected from 40 respondents who were members of the DPRD Kota Ternate, Tidore Islands City and Sula Islands District. The data processing technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that there was no influence on the role of the DPRD's budgeting function on the potential for fraud in district / city DPRDs in North Maluku Province, there was a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment to potential fraud in the budget bodies of the DPRD districts / cities of North Maluku province. In addition, the simultaneous statistical test shows that the role of the DPRD budgeting function and organizational commitment has a significant effect on the potential for fraud among members of the DPRD budgeting in North Maluku province.

Abstract

Paying more attention to quality, reduction of production waste, reduction of final cost of products and resisting in competitive market, fully clarifies the necessity for using the methods like “Design of Experiments”. In this Method in put variable of process are defined and to achieve the determined quality Principles, the effect on response variable are studied while performing changes through input variables systematically using statistical methods. In this article, Design of Experiments has been used for accessing the rate of standard shrinkage of Parts Polyamide 6 and also reducing the waste of the products which are made of Polyamide 6 in Fardan Electric Company.

Abstract

This study aims to find out 1). Innovative work planning for teachers of SMA Negeri 1 of South Halmahera and SMA AL-Khairaat Labuha, 2). The implementation of innovative work of teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Halmahera and SMA Al-Khairaat Labuha, 3). Supervision of innovative work of teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Halmahera and SMA Al-Khairaat Labuha, and 4). The assessment of innovative work of teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Halmahera and SMA Al-Khairaat Labuha. This study used qualitative approach with narrative research method and the research design used was a multi-site study, where first site is SMA Negeri 1 south Halmahera and second site is SMA AL-Khairaat Labuha where the locus located in south Halmahera district. The results showed that 1). The teachers innovative work planning at the two research sites was compiled through a process consisting of two stages, problem identification and alternative problem-solving option. Establishing teachers’ innovative work development plan and applying the principles of deliberation and consensus, 2). The implementation of innovative work of teachers at the two research sites based on the predetermined work plan and is supported by managerial behaviour in the form of providing motivation, communicating face to face and through the electronic medium such as smartphone and supported by teacher behaviour in the form of being committed to achieving innovative work development goal, 3). Supervision of teacher innovative work consists of three types of supervision which include before, during, and after the implementation of the teachers’ innovative work development plan, 4). The assessment of teachers’ innovative work is carried out through an assessment process consisting of three stages of measuring, comparing, and taking managerial action.

Abstract

The purpose of the research to illustrate the relationship between efficiency issues and labour/worker in McDonalds. This research would be using quantitative and qualitative research method together. For the qualitative method is interview. The interview would be collected via email that been using to communicate with the company and individual interviews with a small number of respondents such as McDonalds manager to explore their perspectives on labour/worker efficiency. Second, quantitative method is questionnaires would distribute to targeted segment about their view on productivity. The collected data would be analysing and finalize the result of the research. Labour is part of main factor that might influence the movement of productivity in the company and it is also depends on labour efficiency. Poor productivity happened in McDonald is because of poor labour management. In this research, we will also debunk the factor that leads problems of labour productivity. Listed below are some factor might affect labour productivity or efficiency on their works. The factors are such as Overtime, Morale and attitude, Absenteeism and Turnover, Errors and Omission and Reassignment of Manpower. The factor that have been listed are not finalised yet and would be review and analyse whether it is some others factor that happen at McDonald’s labour. The data that we will collect will be present by graph. From the graph the data can be interpret and present easier. In conclusion, company must gather the factor that affecting labour productivity, so they can immerse their employee in efficient working environment and contribute in economic growth of the company
