Abstract

During the 2019 Coronavirus Diseases pandemic, many people were affected socially and economically, especially parents of students. Therefore, the government through universities provides a solution to help the economy, one of which is through the Single Tuition Assistance (UKT) program. In making the decision to determine the prospective recipient of UKT Assistance, the university is still constrained by time because there is quite a lot of data that must be processed or selected manually and of course, must meet several criteria that have been set by the university. In order to assist universities in making decisions to determine prospective recipients of UKT Assistance, a decision support system is needed. The Rank Order Centroid (ROC) and MAUT (Multi-Attribute Utility Theory) methods are a combination of methods that support determining the priority criteria for prospective UKT Assistance recipients. In determining the candidates who are eligible to receive UKT Assistance according to the formula and method used, in order to obtain the highest value alternative that is entitled to receive the UKT Assistance. The results of the application of the combination of the two methods so as to obtain the highest 25 alternative values of the 30 alternatives as a calculation sample with the first rank alternative value of 0.707.

Abstract

Utilization of Information Technology (IT) in companies today is an important element to support the effectiveness & efficiency of business processes. This research set PT ABC as a case study place. In utilizing its IT assets, the company has a division that is responsible for managing and managing the company's IT assets, namely the IT Asset division. The IT Asset Division of the Company has never conducted a security risk analysis on its IT assets. In helping companies to determine the level of information security of their IT assets, an analysis of the information security risks of these assets will be carried out. This study uses the OCTAVE Allegro method in analyzing the company's IT assets. OCTAVE Allegro consists of eight stages and is grouped into four phases. The research resulted in 5 risks from 7 IT assets which were analyzed and made into a Risk Register document. Furthermore, the researcher recommends ISO 27002:2014 control of the IT asset risk as a mitigation measure

Abstract

The era of digital society is strongly supported by the development of information and communication technology, along with the use of the internet by the community, making the digital era help every community activity. The progress of internet development in Indonesia cannot be separated from the distribution of network infrastructure in all urban (urban) and rural (rural) areas in all provinces in Indonesia. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the period 2017 - 2020, this study aims to determine which of the 34 provinces in Indonesia are provinces that have a strong and stable internet network in urban and rural areas, as well as regions in Indonesia whose people are significantly utilizing the use of the internet in their daily activities in both urban and rural areas. The selection process uses eight assessment criteria from aspects of the expansion and distribution of internet network quality and internet utilization for rural and urban communities in the province of Indonesia. In this study, the method of solving the problem of multi-criteria decision-making is the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method. The results of the final calculation of the PSI method from 34 alternatives determine the five best provinces for expanding the internet network and internet utilization in 2020, namely the alternative provinces of Central Java, West Java, East Java, South Sumatra, and Aceh.

Abstract

Covid-19 has become a global health problem during this pandemic. Every country is struggling to fight this problem as well as Indonesia. Indonesia has a high number of new cases and this has an impact on the high demand for bed occupancy rates. To overcome this situation, we recommend the prediction of covid-19 using LGBM and LSTM. We implement two pre-processing, namely one-hot data encode and Normalization. The results of the pre-processing will be used as input for the prediction of new cases of COVID-19 using the LGBM and LSTM algorithms. The experimental results show that LSTM has better results than LGBM. We evaluated that the number of epochs we used in the LSTM had a large influence on the RMSE, MAE, and R2 measurements

Abstract

Sekolah Luar  Biasa  (SLB)  are education for students who have difficulty in participating in the learning process because they have special physical, emotional, mental and social needs, but have the potential for intelligence and special talents. SLB Negeri Jember also faces problems in the educational process, one of which is deaf students who experience barriers and disturbances in verbal communication both expressively and receptively. This resulted in the message being conveyed and received a lot of misunderstanding of meaning. Online learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic at SLB cannot be fully carried out online due to the limitations of students. The activity plans and solutions provided for the service are using the Android-based Augmented Reality (AR) game learning method. Making this method begins with the design sprint stage to communicate with the relevant team, namely psychologists and teachers, followed by AR programming and ends with validation so that the application has been tested for students with special needs. The results of the implementation to determine the level of acceptance of the use of the application is obtained a percentage value of 80%. Suggestions for the next development are the implementation of direct tools for IoT so that students gain new knowledge about sensor implementation

Abstract

Data security is considered very important in nowadays information technology era to minimize data theft. To achieve data security, an encoding process for the data is needed. The encryption process can use a super encryption scheme by combining two or more cryptographic techniques to provide double security. In this research intend to implement the Rail Fence Cipher and Caesar Cipher cryptographic algorithms by using a super encryption scheme on patient data at the Eka Karigas Clinic. The combination of these two cryptographic algorithms is able to provide security by using encryption techniques on patient data at the Eka Karigas Clinic and returning it using a decryption technique to its original form so as not to cause data integrity loss.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to design an application for forecasting the sales production of oil palm by using the trend moment method where the result of the forecasting is expected to be able to help the company to forecast sales in the future so that later on, it can be useful for the companies owner in making company plans such as fertilizing the oil palm and other planning as well. This forecasting of sales production application is dekstop based by utilizing computer software and taking data sample from two different plantation locations. The result of the system testing is running well. The accuracy calculation by using APE (Absolute Percentage Error) method shows the forecast accuration result is 95.95%. The conclusion from this research shows that trend moment method which has been applied can be using to forecast sales production of oil palm on the next period effectively with high accuracy.

Abstract

The development of technology today is experiencing a very rapid increase both in the form of information, data, and systems used to assist human activities in life. Technological innovation is of course also progressing, especially in the field of Artificial Intelligence. A pointing device is a pointing device that functions as navigation on a laptop or computer using a mouse device. This study aims to develop a pointing device without using hardware such as a mouse. With this technology, the cursor can move according to the command without any touch from the hand with the help of a laptop camera or computer instead of a mouse device. This study uses a hand landmark model in which the fingers will be given a point symbol totaling 21. The way this virtual mouse system works is that the user inputs his finger in front of a laptop or computer camera and performs finger gestures to give orders to the cursor. Abstract

UMKM Bened is one of the UMKM engaged in the culinary field. During the COVID-19 pandemic, economic activity in Indonesia decreased, this was a negative impact for UMKM. Advances in infomation technology can be utilized so that business activities can continue during the COVID-19 pandemic. Strategic planning of information systems is needed so that UMKM Bened can implement the righy IS/IT. This study uses the ward and peppard method in data collection and the preparation of strategic planning for information systems. The tools usesd are SWOT analysis, and portofolio application by applying the McFarlan Strategic Grid and then there is a proposed information system. The results of the IS/IT strategic planning research on UMKM Bened is a UMKM Bened website/ Where this website can later improve business processes so that they are more effective and efficient. So that UMKM Bened can remain competitive during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The village apparatus is part of the government element at the village level whose task is to assist the village head in carrying out government duties at the village level. Guworejo village officials are located in Karangmalang District, Sragen Regency. In carrying out their duties, village officials are required to have a humane nature to the whole community. So it takes appreciation of village officials who have a high work spirit and responsibility. To determine the best village apparatus, the Guworejo village government is still not optimal, this is due to the absence of media that can process the assessment of the apparatus and determine the best village apparatus. Therefore, this research is expected to help the Guworejo village government in determining the best village apparatus. In this study, the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method will be used. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings on each alternative on all attributes.
