Abstract

There are many virtualization technologies currently available, one of which is LXD on the Linux operating system. LXD can be used to build a Private Cloud. Currently, the operating system practicum lectures at Caltex Riau Polytechnic are still using Virtualization Software such as VMWare or Virtualbox which often cause problems such as virus threats, data loss, and configuration errors. For this reason, it is necessary to design and implement a centralized system using cloud computing and virtualization so that these problems can be avoided. The Cloud Computing system was created using LXD with the configuration that each student will have a virtual server account on the Cloud System. From the tests carried out, it was found that LXD can be used for operating system lecture with a memory requirement of 7.6GB with 20% CPU usage.

Abstract

The development in the era of globalization and the rapid progress in the field of information technology has had a considerable influence both in the field of education. Several problems can be explained related to the achievement of results in predicting the results of new student admissions at SMK Mulia Pratama in the digital era. The promotion is quite complicated because there is no target for the results of new student admissions so the promotion does not know the achievement of new student admissions who are registered for each promotion. To solve this problem, the naive Bayes method is used. Naïve Bayes is an algorithm that can be used to predict the results of new student admissions that can be categorized as achieved or not achieved. The data was used in this study from January to December 2018. From the results of the application of the nave Bayes method, the highest probability value is in class P(X). Receipt of acceptance prediction = No so that it can be concluded that the results of acceptance are included in the classification of "No" meaning that every new acceptance improves.

Abstract

Technological developments make any information can be spread in a short time. Technology can also be used to advertise any place, business, product. Technological developments cannot be separated from every activity carried out by humans, one of which is the determination of the nearest tourist attraction. Tourism is a place for relaxing and can visit until the time desired by visitors. From the above explanation, it can be said that a destination is a place that can be visited by foreign and domestic tourists. Searching for the shortest route is an obstacle that is often faced by every seeker of alternative paths to reach their destination faster. Several other methods can solve the problem of finding a route. One method that can solve this problem is using the heuristic search method. One of them is the Greedy Best-first search algorithm. This algorithm works by taking into account the approximate cost. Selecting the next best node is done by examining the estimated cost obtained using a heuristic function. Given the problems above, it is necessary to make a solution to determine the shortest route to assist tourists in choosing the route to be traversed in tourism in Deliserdang.

Abstract

The utilization of this study aims to determine the level of passenger satisfaction with the quality of service at the Medan Train Station. The population in this study were Train Passengers. The samples used in this study were 30 respondents. Methods of collecting data using questionnaires and conducting direct interviews with respondents. The method used to measure service quality is the Servqual method, with five dimensions of service characteristics, namely, physical evidence, caring, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance. From the results of data processing, it is obtained that the attributes that need to be prioritized by the station for improvement are the availability of safe and comfortable parking spaces which have the largest gap, which is -0.41. The dimension that needs to be prioritized by the station for improvement is the Tangible dimension (Physical Evidence) which has a large gapter of -0.13. Based on the analysis of the results of data processing, it shows that the level of passenger satisfaction with the quality of service at the Medan Train Station is included in the Unsatisfactory category.

Abstract

Mushrooms are one of the plants that have high nutritional content that other types of vegetables do not have. This plant is easy to cultivate because it easily adapts to the environment. The risk of loss in the oyster mushroom business cannot be avoided because it is not careful or diligent in maintaining oyster mushrooms. As a tool, an expert system is used to identify the type of oyster mushroom disease using several methods including the backward chaining method. The backward chaining method is a method that starts from the conclusion of several existing facts to refute or support the hypothesis. The results of the research and discussion that have been carried out have concluded that an expert system designed to be able to diagnose fungal plant diseases, the method used can be used as an alternative in calculating the diagnosis of fungal diseases and an expert system designed to make it easier for farmers to diagnose diseases that occur in fungal.

Abstract

Happy World is a playground for children or adults on JL. Serdang Baru, Deli Mas Plaza Complex 3rd Floor which has customers or consumers who visit to want to play. The problem with Happy World is that it doesn't have the technology yet, in terms of structuring or setting the cashier's service time, which still uses a manual by taking a queue number. These problems resulted in the accumulation of customers at the cashier and did not comply with health protocols. Therefore the company needs fast service to serve all its customers without compromising the quality of the service. That builds customer confidence in the cashier's service and creates a system to help make the queue more neat and orderly so that the services provided can also satisfy the customer, namely the Queue System. From the test results, the performance obtained in the payment queuing system needs at the cashier (server) where the average service time spent at the cashier and efficient service time, the company exceeds the service time limit that has been set, which is 10 minutes to reduce the level of service delivery. density, the company will repair the system.

Abstract

Implement existing policies leading and controlling all office operational activities, directing employees to make accountability reports for office operational activities to managers, supervising and approving transactions for each activity according to company needs. The problem that is being faced at the New Mitra Karya Cooperative Service office, Lubuk Pakam unit XXVII is the selection of the operational head which does not go through the appropriate stages and rules, but by direct election between family relationships. A decision support system based on computer based information systems (CBIS) that is able to adapt and can be developed to support providing solutions to a problem, one of which is the selection of operational heads using the AHP method. The concept of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is to find a comparison / summation of the weights of the work rating on each alternative. With a system that applies the AHP method, the results obtained are in the form of decisions in the selection of operational heads quickly and accurately.

Abstract

The online licensing website application at the Karo Regency Licensing Office functions as an online permit management information system for the community, but there are still many people who do not understand and do not understand how to carry out the online licensing process through the SICANTIK/DPMPPTST application. In addition, people who have opened online licensing applications experience problems because they do not know the flow, requirements, and ways to register for the online licensing process. This study uses the V model software development method in building licensing applications on the SICANTIK website. The results of the design of the online licensing management menu have added new features and menus to carry out the permit registration process for users so that the online permit management process becomes easier.

Abstract

Cryptography is the science and art of keeping messages safe from being known by unauthorized persons. Most cryptography uses mathematical calculations both in calculating the secret key and in calculating the secret code that will be used. Thus, the information in the message will be kept safe and confidential. One of the classic cryptographic algorithms that can be used to ensure data security and security is the Hill Cipher method. Hill cipher is symmetric cryptography, also known as hill code, which is the application of modulo arithmetic to cryptography. This cryptographic technique uses a rectangular matrix as the key used for encryption and decryption. The system created can be used as data encoding in the form of characters in the form of letters by dividing block each encrypted character.
