Abstract

Environmental education in principle focuses on knowledge which emphasizes about interaction and linkages between humans and the environment as a life support. So far, environmental education learning is more about the introduction of objects and environment element as an ecosystem. However, it’s not until of environmental education substance specifically, according as a fact from each area. Therefore, learning on environmental education is needed and its branch of knowledge. This aim is that with the guidance from the lectures as a learning facilitators, student know, learn and able to analyze the environmental education content for every single object which discovered, so that they can provide concrete solutions to optimizing the area. The locus study is Gunung Puntang Forest Area, Campakamulya Village, Cimaung, Banjaran District, Bandung Regency West Java.  This research used naturalstic qualitative method, which the researcher directly involved start from submission process, visits, observations and participated in all activities in natural setting. By using environmental education theory and environmental policy, environmental education is studied based on : 1) based on nature envirenmont, 2) based on spaceand place, 3) basedon social and culture, 4) based on built environment, and 5) based on spesific environment. Therefore environmental education must be taught at every level education system and related instituions because it is charged to  maintain living environmental order.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah melalui media teks cerita bergambar kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada siswa kelas IV SDN 14 Paguyaman dapat meningkat?”. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui media teks cerita bergambar di kelas IV SDN 14 Paguyaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian tentang kemampuan membaca pemahaman menunjukkan bahwa dari 24 siswa yang mampu hanya 6 siswa (25%), dan yang belum mampu 18 siswa (75%). Pada siklus I pertemuan pertama kemampuan membaca pemahaman meningkat menjadi 9 siswa (37,5%) yang mampu dan 15 siswa (62,5%) yang belum mampu. Pada siklus I pertemuan kedua meningkat menjadi 13 siswa (54,1%) yang mampu dan 11 siswa (45,8%) yang belum mampu. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama meningkat menjadi 17 siswa (70,8%) yang mampu dan 7 siswa (29,1%) yang belum mampu. Pada siklus II pertemuan kedua mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu menjadi 21 siswa (87%) yang mampu membaca pemahaman dan 3 siswa (12,5%) yang belum mampu membaca pemahaman. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa dengan melalui .media teks cerita bergambar kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa di kelas IV SDN 14 Paguyaman meningkat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui situasi Cestodiasis pada kambing di Kecamatan Paguat, Kabupaten Pohuwato. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah feses kambing yang diambil melalui palpasi rektal dan atau feses yang baru keluar saat defekasi. Kambing diambil secara acak isidental tidak membedakan jenis kelamin, umur dan ras kambing. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 93 feses. Metode pemeriksaan feses menggunakan metode natif, metode sedimentasi, dan metode pengapungan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari 90 sampel feses yang diperiksa, 13 sampel feses ditemukan adanya telur cacing Cestoda.

Abstract

Indonesian MSMEs are the largest in number compared to those in other developing countries. However, the progress of Information Technology in MSMEs is perceived to be below expectations. Based on the conducted testing in the village of Karangturi, Karanganyar, the lack of responsiveness of MSMEs to technological advancements is attributed to their low entrepreneurial spirit and motivation. Therefore, there is a need to strengthen and enhance the sustainability of MSMEs, addressing both business and institutional aspects. The Faculty of Economics and Business, UNS, will provide support and development in entrepreneurship, with motivational materials, business model canvas, and creativity in business. Equipping MSMEs with knowledge from successful business actors in IT and social media is expected to instill enthusiasm for advancing their businesses and overcoming challenges.

Abstract

Deaf children require the ability to draw in order to communicate effectively while developing their creativity.  Visual Communication Design Study Program (DKV) Paramadina University in collaboration with a community that cares for the deaf, namely Pop Joy Sign (PJS), collaborates to organise community service activities (PkM) by providing basic drawing training for deaf children aged 9-14 years.   The method used in this PkM is applied in nature by providing drawing practices and insight into drawing with Indonesian themes, accompanied by the PkM team and sign language interpreters (JBI).  This training uses the total communication method, the concept of communication for deaf people to achieve effective communication, involving both written and visual media, and also JBI. The results demonstrated that all participants have the ability to express their ideas and complete the drawings in a timely manner.  The visual language analysis method using Wimba and basic drawing theory shows that in general the participants are able to tell stories in pictorial language, but still need to be improved in terms of skills and imagination. It is hoped that with this training, deaf children will be able to develop their ability to communicate fully through visuals in addition to the sign language they have mastered. Moreover, by drawing, deaf children can become more confident in communication and develop their creativity for the future.

Abstract

Business activities are mostly dominated by the community through the frame of Creative Economy and Micro, Small, and Menengan Enterprises. The choice of this frame is because the concept is simple and affordable, especially for the lower middle class. Home industry products in the framework of MSMEs play a major role in economic growth and employment. Problems for the creative economy and MSMEs include a lack of knowledge about the establishment of MSMEs, no permits, no branding, and the most important problem is digital marketing strategies. This is also found in Pelehu Village, Bilato District, with small household industries (MSMEs) starting to be developed but not yet using a digital business system, the appearance side of both Labeling, Packaging, and marketing is still relatively traditional and does not have a business license. To improve the economic self-sufficiency of business actors in Pelehu Village, Bilato District, Gorontalo Regency, the Thematic KKN implementation team by involving lecturers and students conducted socialization and training for MSME actors, housewives, and MSME observers. The main objectives of this Thematic KKN program are to assist MSMEs related to business licensing to obtain a Business Identification Number (BIN) to be legally legal; foster business actors to design MSME products and digital marketing systems; and involve students in guiding and motivating MSME actors. With the hope that it can independently encourage the economy in the Pelehu village area, Bilato District, Gorontalo Regency.
