Abstract

The study with the title "Corporate Performance Assessment Through the Application of the Balanced Scorecard Concept" aims to assess company performance through the concept of balanced scorecard, which includes all four perspectives which are viewed from a financial perspective, consumer / customer perspective, internal business process perspective and learning and growth perspective. The results of this study are expected to make a positive contribution to both the company and other parties. The samples used are employees and teaching staff in the American English Course environment and the sampling technique uses simple random sampling method. Assessment from a financial perspective uses 3 (three) ratios, i.e. liquidity ratios consisting of current ratio and quick ratio. The solvency ratio consists of debt ratio and debt to equity ratio and profitability ratio consists of return on assets and return on equity. For the consumer / customer perspective using the customer profitability ratio. Internal business perspective uses the ratio of administrative expense to total revenue. While the growth and learning perspective uses benchmarks for employee productivity, employee training and employee satisfaction. For employee satisfaction variables using data validity and reliability testing, where the results indicate the instrument items are valid and reliable statements

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of self-efficacy and adversity quotient as factors of personality characteristics on students' entrepreneurial intentions. This research was conducted on students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Wijayakusuma Purwokerto. The number of samples used was 56 respondents, and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. To determine the sample size using the method developed by Krejcie and Morgan. The analysis tool used is Multiple Linear Regression (Multiple Regression). The t test is used to test the significance of the influence of the variable self-efficacy and adversity quotient, Student Entrepreneurship Intention. The results of the analysis using the level of confidence 95% (α = 0.05) and degree of freedom (df) = (n-k) = (56-3) = 53, the t table is 1.674. The t value for the Self Efficacy variable (th1 = 6,521) with a significance of 0,000 and the t value for the Adversity Quotient variable (th2 = 5,604) with a significance of 0,000. The value of t count> t table with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, so that Ho is rejected. This means that Self Efficacy and Adversity Quotient have a significant positive effect on Entrepreneurial Intention. This shows that the better the Self Efficacy and Adversity Quotient students have, the more students desire the Economics and Business Faculty to be entrepreneurial.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Effect of Dimensions of Organizational Justice on Job Satisfaction (case study at PD BPR Purwokerto). The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the significance of the effect of distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice on job satisfaction of employees of PD BPR BKK Purwokerto. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. Based on the results of regression analysis, it is obtained that the tcount of the variable of distributive justice is greater than the t-table, the t-count of the procedural justice variable is greater than the t-table, and the t-count of the interactional justice variable is greater than the t-table value. The implication is that management needs to prioritize various policies related to variables of Distributive Justice, Procedural Justice and Employee Interactional Justice. One way to do this is by conducting job training programs for employees on a regular basis, creating a work atmosphere that is able to encourage employee self-confidence related to their ability to exercise control over themselves and the environment around them, and strive to meet various needs and expectations. employees related to the implementation of their duties and jobs effectively and efficiently

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of food insecurity due to the growing population growth rate which is not balanced by the accelerated growth of food production. This study aims to analyze the effect of rice production, non-rice food crops, agricultural land, and labor absorbed in the agricultural sector against food security in Banyumas regency. Secondary data is sourced from Badan Pusat Statistik. The analyzing tool used is panel data regression with a panel of sub-district in the Banyumas Regency. The analysis results show; There is a positive influence between the variables of rice production, non-rice crop production, and the area of agricultural land (rice field) on the level of food security; While for a variable amount of labor of agricultural sector negative effect to the food security level.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship intensity and strategic management practices in a sample of Small and Medium Entreprices (SMEs). The strategic management practices include: scanning intensity, planning flexibility, planning horizon, locus of planning, and control attributes (strategic controls and financial controls). The results of the study indicated a positive relationship between corporate entrepreneurship intensity and scanning intensity, planning flexibility, locus of planning, and strategic controls. Those relationships are in line with the proposed hipothesis. While the two hypotheses proposed, that there is a negative relationship between firm entrepreneurship intensity with planning horizon and financial controls, not empirically proven. The results of this research may be useful to firms that are trying to become more entrepreneurial and may help researchers better understand the subtleties of the interface between strategic management and corporate entrepreneurship intensity, especially in the nature of SMEs.

Abstract

Student satisfaction as a user of educational services in tertiary institutions is very important for the progress of an educational institution. Student satisfaction contributes to the success of a college because student satisfaction will have an impact on its loyalty to the institution. Loyal students will be a very valuable asset for the university, because students will be willing to promote their institutions to others, provide positive feedback on institutions, reduce the influence of attacks from competitors from the same institution and enhance the positive image of the institution. One factor in achieving user satisfaction in a service business is service quality. With a quality service that is expected to increase user satisfaction. Therefore this research was conducted as an effort to evaluate employee performance in serving students in the academic and student administration. Attributes studied include reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles. In addition, to analyze which attributes are considered most important by students. The analytical method used is "Multiatribute Attitude Model" (MAM). From the test results it can be concluded that students are satisfied with the service received as evidenced by the responses given to the services received are included in the criteria for a good interval scale value. Based on the order of importance according to students' assessments the responsiveness attribute is the most important attribute, the next order is reliability, assurance, emphaty and tangibles. Keywords: Service Quality, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are as follows was 1) to determine the effect of income tax, retribution, wealth management outcomes separated areas and other legitimate income areasof capital expendituresamount simultaneously or amount partialy, 2)to determine which variables are dominant among income tax, retribution, wealth management outcomes separated areas and other legitimate income areas of the capital expenditures. Data were collected analysis regression, according 1) to the income tax, retribution, wealth management outcomes separated areas and other legitimate income areas simultaneosly significant effect ofcapital expenditures and to the significant effect ofcapital expenditures, the income tax, retribution other legitimate income areas partialy significant effect of capital expenditures, That wealth management outcomes separated areas not partialy significant effect of capital expenditures, 2) to the income tax, most dominant influenceofcapital expenditures.

Abstract

The practice of income smoothing is a form of dysfunctional behavior in earnings management that is rife in this era of rapid business development, where managers intentionally change the company's financial statements with the aim of flattening the value of the company's earnings over several periods to make it look stable. The practice of perataan laba is considered as a solution to the very unstable profit conditions. This study aims to examine the effect of cashholding, net profit margin, and financial leverage on income smoothing. The population in this study were 44 banking subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling technique and produces a sample of 37 companies. The results of this study indicate that net profit margin has a significant negatif effect on perataan laba, while cashholding and financial leverage have no significant effect on income smoothing

Abstract

The very tight competition situation forces the company to manage all activities and employees so that it can compete with its competitors. The intention to leave the employees must be responded properly so that employee turnover can be controlled. Compensation variables and job stress are thought to affect the intention to leave. This study provides information on the effect of compensation and job stress on the intention to leave employees at small businesses in Purwokerto, Banyumas district. The hypotheses proposed in this study are: compensation and work stress partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on Turnover Intention; and Compensation has a more significant effect on Turnover Intention. The research results of the first and second hypotheses were accepted, while the third hypothesis was rejected.
