Abstract

Background: Malnutrition in hospitals is a commonly occurring and often overlooked issue that impacts not only the clinical outcomes of patients, such as their length of stay, morbidity, mortality, and quality of life, but also the overall sustainability of the healthcare system. column format. Aims: The purpose of writing this systematic literature review is to collect scientific evidence regarding food service satisfaction assessment techniques for inpatients in hospitals. Method: This research conducting a literature review using PRISMA guidelines, using data based on Google Scholar and Scopus which examined the level of patient satisfaction with food services in hospitals. Result: From the six papers that we analyzed, we obtained an assessment process for the level of patient satisfaction using caloric intake calculations, and some used validated questionnaires, and obtained several appropriate strategies to increase the nutritional intake of inpatients. Conclusions: Assessing the patient's nutritional and nutritional intake is very important in determining the patient's health and recovery.

Abstract

Performance can be defined as the evaluation of employees' accomplishments in relation to pre-established work standards. One of the factors that affect performance is the leadership factor of a leader to be able to communicate and influence his subordinates so that they can work to achieve organizational goals. Purpose: This study aims to examine the impact of different leadership factors, such as leader-member relationships, task structure, and the leader's position power, on the performance of healthcare staff at the Tamalanrea Jaya Health Center in Makassar City. Methods: The study conducted between January and April 2023 at Tamalanrea Jaya Health Center involved a population of 37 health workers who were selected using the total sampling technique. The research method employed was a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The data analysis techniques used were univariate and bivariate, and the tests applied were the Fisher exact test and contingency coefficient test. Results: The study's findings revealed that the performance of healthcare professionals at Tamalanrea Jaya Health Center was associated with three factors: leader-member relationship (p=0.001), task structure (p=0.012), and the leader's power position (p=0.005). Conclusion: The performance of healthcare workers at the Tamalanrea Jaya Health Center in Makassar City is correlated with leader-member relations, task structure, and the power of the leader's position. It is recommended for leaders to improve supervision and evaluation related to discipline and timeliness of entering employee working hours

Abstract

Background: Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by the latest variant of the coronavirus. This virus spreads quickly and widely so that it takes a lot of victims. As an effort to reduce the number of cases of Covid-19 is to vaccinate. But it's not enough just to vaccinate doses 1 and 2, now the government is again advising the public to do a booster vaccination for Covid-19. Aims: This study aims to determine the relationship between government motivation and communication with the community's willingness to carry out the Covid-19 booster vaccination in Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. Method: The type of research used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 395 respondents who were determined using a purposive sampling technique. Result: Based on the results of the bivariate test, it showed that there was a relationship between motivation (p = 0.012) and government communication (p = 0.013) with the public's willingness to carry out the Covid-19 booster vaccination. Recommendations for the government in Tanete Riattang District to make the Covid-19 booster vaccination an administrative requirement so that people want to do the Covid-19 booster vaccination

Abstract

Backgrounds: The maternal mortality rate (MMR) and the infant and under-five mortality rate (IMR and AKABA) are indicators that show the welfare and health of the people in a country. Objective: This study aims to conduct a study related to the description of the management of women's organizations in preventing maternal and child deaths. Method: The method used is descriptive qualitative, with informants being women's organizations with maternal and child health programs. Result: Women's organizations play a role in reducing maternal and child mortality by conducting active counseling, active assistance, educating the community and carrying out activities that support maternal and child health. Conclusion: The involvement of women's organizations in the planning and implementation of programs to reduce maternal and child mortality needs continuous efforts and assistance so that the programs run effectively and there is an increase in the knowledge and understanding of mass organizations related to gender and women's health and maternal and child health.

Abstract

Stunting is short stature with a Z-score PB/U < -2SD which occurs as a result of accumulation of chronic nutritional problems. The incidence of stunting in 2018 at the Manuju Health Center was 1 child who was stunted, in 2019 there were 3 children, in 2020 it increased to 91 children, then in 2021 there were 141 children, then in 2022 there were around 102 children who were stunted per November At the moment. This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge on mothers' behavior in caring for stunted toddlers. This research uses observational research with quantitative analysis with a cross-sectional study design. The total sample in this study was 102 mothers who had stunted toddlers. Sampling was done by simple random sampling. The data source for this study was secondary data taken in January-September 2022. The data used the chi-square test with p=0.05 and confidence interval (CI)=95%. The results of the analysis of this study showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and stunting toddler care behavior (p = 0.000; CI = 95%). It can be concluded that knowledge influences mothers' behavior in caring for stunting toddlers.

Abstract

Takalar Regency in 2017 the number of hypertension sufferers was 2969 (80%) with 927 men (28%) and 1769 women (61%). Hypertension can be defined as persistently high blood pressure where systolic blood pressure is above 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is above 90 mmHg. Moringa is one of the assets in Maccini Baji Hamlet. It is known that the Moringa plant contains all the nutrients needed to balance blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to evaluate education related to the prevention and management of hypertension as well as to foster the atmosphere of antihypertensive drinks from Moringa leaves using a questionnaire instrument to measure knowledge, attitudes, and actions after the intervention. The results of the study proved the effect of the boiled water of Moringa leaves on blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The Wilcoxon Statistical Test was carried out at a significance level of α (0.05) with a (p) value of 0.000, so it can be said that there was a significant change between the Moringa leaf decoction and changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Based on the analysis of the Friedmen test, it showed a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05) so that it can be concluded that there was an increase before and after three months of counseling on prevention and control of hypertension.

Abstract

During the current Covid-19 pandemic, public visits to health facilities such as hospitals, health centers and clinics have decreased. People are increasingly worried about visiting health facilities for fear of contracting it. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of public concern about visiting a health facility during a pandemic when experiencing health problems. This research is a quantitative research using an analytical approach and study designcross sectional. The population in this study were all Indonesian people and the number of samples in this study were 118 people. The analytical method used is univariate about the respondent's identity (gender, age, occupation, and education) and bivariate to determine the correlation of the independent variables with the dependent variable using the test chi square. The sampling technique uses the technique accidental sampling. The results of the study showed that there was no relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of public concern about visiting health facilities p-value 0.421.
