Abstract

The character was a very important aspect in assessing the quality of human resources and becomes the basic foundation in developing social skills in the future. This article aimed to give an assistance of building the children character through media social of education posters at Karyamukti Village, Sekampung District, East Lampung Regency. One of the media that can be used to improve the children development was visualization media. The researchers used Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) that utilize the potential asset of students at community. The subject was 20 children at Karyamukti Village. Four stages activities in analyzing program involved preparing program, arrange the program, describing material, and evaluation program. The result showed that the implementation of this activity was effectively and received a large enough participation from the children and the benefits either form children and parents. The successful activities can be seen from the enthusiasm and following of the children to build their own character in participating in this educational poster activity Keywords: Children Character, Social Education Poster, Building Children Character

Abstract

Elementary school or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers' competence in oral storytelling was needed as a form of role model for students to be able to develop their skills. It was caused to be able to develop speaking, students need exposure to listening material. Teachers need to create an atmosphere that allows students to practice using spoken language. Based on the results, in the context of learning at the basic education level for children, storytelling is able to increase the potential of their language skills by listening, then children are expected to be able to reflect back on the story in oral form. This article aimed to give an assistance of 5 teachers and 25 students of oral storytelling to get benefit of language skill. The researchers used Service Learning (SL) approach (Felten, & Clayton, 2011). It as a medium for integrating voluntary community service with active reflection which is expected to enrich and strengthen the material about bringing oral storytelling in developing students and teachers. Analyzing data used modeling, asignment, perform (Topi & Ramesh, 2002). Finally, the final results of all of our activities in the context of community service are: 1) There is a change in the behavior of teachers and students to develop activities based on oral storytelling skills, 2) The development of an oral storytelling culture, 3) An increase in oral storytelling skills, and 4 ) The emergence of awareness to find many oral stories in traditional societies that have not been widely written or spoken in a formal context. Abstract

Marriage must be in accordance with the provisions in force in the marriage law, In order to obtain legal protection. As the regulations regarding the limit marriageable age either men or women with a minimum of 19 years old, as stated in Law No. 16 of 2016. This rule was substituted for the rules that contained in Law Number 1 of 1974, which states that age minimum marry was 16 years. This article provided understanding to the community about the Eligible Age to prevent child marriage through Legal Assistance. The researchers used Community Based Research (CBR). The sample was 50 participants, especially for under 18 years old. for This assistance was carried out in the form of training with resource persons from legal experts. The result showed that the participants was more comprehensive about the latest regulation of Law Number 16 Number 2019 that stated the minimum for married women was 19 years old. The participants was quite successful, cause increased understanding of community about the importance of prevention of early marriage. Abstract

An assistance of reading Al-Quran was a crucial activity. This activity was one of the indicators achievement of service, namely understanding of reading al qur’an. This article gave an asisstance of strengthening Santri in reading Qur'an through Warsy History at the Pesantren Al-Falahiyah Batangharjo East Lampung. The service community used Service Learning (SL) method. It was as a medium for integrating voluntary community services with active reflection which is expected to enrich and strengthen training materials in community development with the use of existing assets and potential. Collecting data used interview, observation and documentation. The sample was 60 participants. The result showed that the capacity of students and the knowledge of the Qur'an in society towards the study of qira'at science was understood by students. Abstract

The training trademark registration were important to support the development of a business product. Several members of Fatayat NU Batanghari have businesses that produced many products of economic value. The limited knowledge people was about trademarks of products did not have brand. Hence, the purpose of this article was to increase knowledge about trademark registration and the process of registered trademarks at the Direktorat Jendral Kekayaan Intelektual (DJKI). The method used Community Based Research (CBR) with 50 participants of PAC Fatayat NU Group of Bumiharjo Village, Batanghari East Lampung. The collecting data used observation, documentation and conducting Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Furthermore, the result product have a legitimate brand. Hence, it has a high economic value and avoids plagiarism by irresponsible people. This Community Service used the Community Based Research (CBR) method and the sample was 50 participants. The result of this service community showed that the participants could engage their knowledge about the importance of legally registering business product trademarks. Especially Fatayat NU Batanghari group got the rights from the trademark registration of thier business product. Abstract

The goal of this assistance was to create a more structured roadmap for the digital media movement through mentoring and assistance to increase skills in the management of traditional snack promotions and the use of digital media technology such as Instagram, fanpage, graphic design, and websites to impact financial markets' income or profitability for the community at Payungi (Pasar Yosomulyo Payungi). The method used ABCD (Asset Based Community) to maximize the potential assets, which includes individual assets, communities, infrastructure, community, et al. As a result of this assistance, the economy of the residents around Payungi was assisted and gave impact on new jobs, and good relationships among stake holders. The community could obtain information from credible sources, the audience receives interesting material. The strengthening of this assistance had an impact on this traditional creative market, both in terms of the turnover of traders and the creativity of business entrepreneurs. Hence, they can engage economic development, economic resilience and sustainability of the various programs that have conducted together. Abstract

This article aims to give an assistance of teachers increasing knowledge and experience linked to the implementation of flipped learning models and the necessary technological support, as well as support so that instructors can use the flipped learning model in practical settings. Teachers from a variety of levels and courses work with this program as partners. This service is provided in the province of Lampung with the assistance of teachers at IAIMNU Metro Lampung and some schools. The method used Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). The training and workshops are used to carry out activities. This activity was held at the IAIMNU Hall of Metro, and 34 people were present, that conducted on October 25, 2021, The basic task of this activity is to provide information and scientific understanding regarding the use of technology-integrated Flipped Learning. Additionally, the session included instruction on utilizing Bandicam to create video presentations. Wawan, M.P.D. and Mai Zuniati, M.P.D. presented this set of activities with the aid of various pupils. After the training, participants were asked if they understood the information, and the findings of the survey on comprehending the content revealed that 61.8% and 14.7%, respectively, said they did. Regarding the usefulness factor, 52.9% and 35.3%, accordingly, of the training's participants reported that it was useful. Abstract

Bullying is a severe child problem that needs attention. School-age children are not only vulnerable to becoming victims but also perpetrators. It is a breakthrough intervention so that children are not susceptible to exposure. This community service program aims to cultivate children's resilience to protect themselves from the vulnerability of all kinds of bullying. It employed a mentoring method that involved three stages. The method used Service Learning (SL) method. It was as a medium for integrating voluntary community services with active reflection which is expected to enrich and strengthen training materials in community development with the use of existing assets and potential. They were the preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation stages. The preparatory stage was done by observing school-age children's gathering points, identifying problems, and determining the mentoring program. The second was implementing a mentoring program based on the child's age. Then the third stage was monitoring and evaluation. The mentoring results found that school-age children participated in this program enthusiastically and participative. Knowledge, awareness, and commitment of school-age children in Cilodong, Depok, related to bullying prevention increased significantly. Abstract

The curriculum that established at Islamic Boarding Schools was prepared by combining religious education as a provision of religious knowledge and general knowledge. The purpose of this assistance was to cultivate pineapple plants to increase the economic value of Islamic boarding schools. Researchers used Community Based Research (CBR). This activity was carried out at Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, Kalicinta, North Kotabumi, North Lampung. The sample was 30 participants. The method used in carrying out the activities involve conducting interviews with the administrators of the Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, North Kotabumi, North Lampung. The activities were conducting counseling and training on the optimization of land, distribution and selection of pineapple seeds and manure, implementation of yard land optimization activities, and monitoring and evaluation of land optimization activities. This finding helped Islamic boarding schools in optimizing empty yards into productive land. Hence, in the future it could help increase the economic value or income of the boarding school, so that it makes economic independence for Islamic boarding schools. Abstract

The article aimed giving an assistance of making compost fertilizer through waste raw materials for water spinach Plants in Polybag. The researchers used Community Based Research (CBR). This service was in the form of material counseling and direct demonstrations in the field for three months starting from a preliminary survey, determining the schedule until conducting outreach counseling in composting from waste sources. The Extension was carried out in two stages, namely by providing materials related composting and followed by carried out a direct demonstration in the field on how to make compost it with children at Yayasan Kesejahteraan Anak (YKA) Jambi City. The article conducted at Yayasan Kesejahteraan Anak (YKA), with 50 students as participants. The results showed that this assistance giving significant results of children because they have skilled in making compost from waste and planting water spinach in polybags where the results gave nutrition of Yayasan Kesejahteraan Anak (YKA).
