Abstract

Corrosion can occur in any metal, including brass metal as raw material for making ammunition casing. One way to inhibit corrosion is to use corrosion inhibitors which can be made using organic materials. Guava leaf (Psidium guajava) contain tannin compounds as corrosion inhibitors. In this study, the brass used was the casing of the MU-2TJ ammunition caliber 7.62 mm produced by PT. Pindad in 1992 and 1994. Corrosion rate was calculated by the method weight loss. Inhibitor preparation of guava leaf extract was carried out by maceration method, where 10 grams of dried guava leaf were dissolved in 100 mL water-ethanol solvent with various volume ratios of water : ethanol 7:3, 6:4, and 5:5, respectively. Brass with inhibitor and without inhibitor was immersed for 15 days or 360 hours in HCl and CH3COOH solution media. . The results showed that in CH3COOH media, the largest inhibitor efficiency was 42.12% by using guava leaf extract inhibitor with a ratio of volume water : ethanol 6:4 in CH3COOH 0.1 M solution, where the corrosion rate of brass without inhibitors is 4.34x10-6 mpy and the corrosion rate of brass with inhibitors is 2.51x10-6 mpy. In HCl media, the largest inhibitor efficiency was 7.52% by using guava leaf extract inhibitor with a ratio of volume water : ethanol 5:5 in HCl 0.05 M solution, where the corrosion rate of brass without inhibitors is 4.81x10-6 mpy and the corrosion rate of brass with inhibitors is 4,45x10-6 mpy.

Abstract

The Aircraft Model is an attempt to create or simulate an actual aircraft and this model can be called the Research Civil Aircraft Model (RCAM), which is a twin-engine civil aircraft model developed by the Group for Aeronautical Research and Technology in Europe (GARTEUR). This aircraft model is similar to the Boeing 757-200. Research Civil Aircraft Model created using 6 degrees of freedom. 6 degrees of freedom consist of 3 translations, namely 3 degrees for Cartesian coordinates on the axis (x,y,z) and 3 rotations, namely 3 degrees (pitch, roll, and yaw) which are used to control surface deflection and throttle position. To create a model, parameters are needed, namely the parameters of the mass of the aircraft and the parameters of the aero chord and also the CoG (Center of Gravity) of an aircraft. The algorithm entered comes from control limits/Saturation, Intermediate Variables, Force Coefficients, Moment Coefficients, Propulsion Effects, Gravity Effects until finally simulated using "Simulink" in MATLAB. In order to produce not only graphics, animation is needed to see the attitude of the aircraft, so 3D Animation is used in MATLAB. The results of this civil aircraft modeling are to see a simulation of the stability of the ailerons, rudders, elevators, and throttles when the plane is flying. The results can vary because in 3D Animation, the plane can be controlled from the plane's attitude when tilted right or left and also when the plane rolls. With this, it is hoped that the simulation can be effective in seeing the actual results when the plane is flying and can also be used as a simulator before the plane takes off.

Abstract

The world progress of education goes hand in hand with the development of the era of society 5.0. The purpose of this paper is to describe the role of nursing education in adapting the demands of the era of society 5.0 so that it can answer the challenge of improving students' critical, constructive and innovative thinking skills. The method used is a literature review using various references derived from the results of research or the thoughts of other authors. Currently, the Indonesian people have just been faced with the issue of the industrial revolution 4.0, but now they have to adapt again to the issue of society 5.0, namely society and all social arrangements that are integrated with cyberspace. Educational management policies are needed to take advantage of advances in digital technology and educational computing in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Solutions that can be done include, among others, the suitability of the curriculum and learning process models provided as a provision of character education and optimal services to improve innovative and humanist constructive critical thinking skills and the readiness of facilities and infrastructure in digital-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of the role of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) to build the defense of Indonesian Muslims in the era of society 5.0. Pesantren which is one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia has several main characteristics such as the existence of cottages, mosques, santri (student), ustaz (teacher), kiai, and the yellow book learning. This research is a qualitative research in the form of library research with content analysis method. Sources of data are in the form of several manuscripts, both books and scientific journal articles containing relevant studies to various efforts to strengthen the role of pesantren in strengthening Indonesian Muslims in the era of society 5.0. Data analysis was carried out interactively. The results of the study indicate that pesantren is Islamic educational institutions that has quite a lot of goals, roles, and functions in the midst of society in line with the goals, roles, and functions of Islamic education. Pesantren is also an Islamic educational institution that plays an important role in strengthening Indonesian Muslims so that they have defense and resilience in facing various changes and dynamics of life in the era of society 5.0. Important aspects built by pesantren for the defense and resilience of Muslims include religious, character, educational, social, and economic aspects. As a leading Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, pesantren must be able to equip every Muslim in the current era of society 5.0 so that they can maintain their identity as Indonesian people who uphold religious values ​​and human values.

Abstract

The government has a mandate to provide excellent services to the community. So, improving the quality of public services is a major agenda. As the Semboro police station did by launching an application called “Face to Face Polsek Semboro” at October 23rd, 2021. It is an innovation from Polsek Semboro to ease Semboro community in making of loss reports in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to measure the user readiness of the “Face to Face Polsek Semboro” using Technology Readiness Index (TRI) model. This research was conducted by interview, designing the instrument, and performing the validity and reliability tests. When the instrument passed the tests, it is distributed to the respondents. The obtained data was analyzed to calculate the level of user readiness and to provide recommendations. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the Optimism variable gives the largest score compared to the Discomfort, Innovativeness, and Insecurity. The obtained TRI Score is 3.178 and classified as medium category (Medium Technology Readiness).

Abstract

The Indonesian Air Force Academy Library is a facility prepared by the Indonesian Air Force Academy whose task is to carry out support for the cadets and users in every activity at the Indonesian Air Force Academy. In this case, the AAU's library also requires attention, especially in terms of care and maintenance of the facilities in the AAU's library. To find out the cadet's satisfaction with the facilities in the AAU's library, it was done by distributing questionnaires to 36 respondents to find out the actual value and the expected value received by the cadets or SERVQUAL SCORE. The measurement of cadet's satisfaction is carried out on five dimensions, namely tangible, reliability, assurance, responsiveness, and empathy. From the measurement results, it is known that the 5 SERVQUAL dimension values ​​have an actual value of 6.7 and an expected value of 7.4 so that there is still a gap of -0.7 . From this gap, each attribute is grouped into four quadrants based on the priority of improvement using the IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) diagram.

Abstract

Increasing Military Academy as an educational institution must be able to receive the era of 5.0 societies properly. This educational institution has the best way to take the advantage of disruptive innovations among others is to integrate disruptive innovation in learning methods that provide the ability to deal with complex problems and utilize the latest technology to improve the quality of students effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis or Opinion Mining is a way of solving a problem based on public opinion that is widely circulated on social media which is expressed in text form. Sentiment analysis is very helpful for the government / an agency in knowing public opinion about a policy that has just been issued without using conventional survey methods. The sentiment analysis carried out focuses on trending tweet topics on Twitter with trending topics on October 5 to 10 are #Omnibuslaw, #tolakruuciptakerja, #UUCiptaKerja, and #tolakomnibuslaw, and the trending topic on November 21 and 22 is "obl makmurkan buruh" . The sentiment analysis process is carried out after the data is obtained at the data crawling stage, followed by word cleaning in the preprocessing process, and word weighting with the TF-IDF algorithm. Sentiment analysis using the naive bayes classifier method aims to obtain a classification of public opinion on the job creation law on twitter. There are two classes in this study, there are positive and negative classes. The 2000 dataset consisting of 1400 tweets that have negative sentiments & 600 positive tweets used will be divided between training data and testing data with a ratio of 60%: 40%, 70%:30%, 80%:20%, and 90 %:10%. From the evaluation results on sentiment analysis regarding public opinion on the copyright law on Twitter, the highest accuracy value is 94% with training data used at 90%, testing data at 10%. In its implementation, the results of the sentiment test show that negative sentiment results are higher than positive sentiment.

Abstract

Implementation of Fuzzy Logic Control Method for Automatic Feeding of Broiler Chickens Using Internet of Things Technology; Husyainus Sobri, 172410102013, 2021, Information Technology Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science, University of Jember. Broiler chickens or also known as broilers are superior breeds resulting from crosses from chicken nations that have high productivity, especially in producing chicken meat. Broiler chickens are the result of cross-breeding and sustainable systems so that the genetic quality can be said to be good. Good genetic quality will appear optimally if the chicken is given supportive environmental factors, for example giving good feed so that chickens avoid death and lack of chicken weight. The use of technology in feeding chickens is an effective way to improve the quality of good chickens and avoid chicken mortality. The technology used can set the feeding time automatically and feed accordingly. To make technology work automatically, a decision-making method is needed. One suitable method is Fuzzy Logic Control. The Fuzzy Logic Control method can overcome the diversity of feeding parameters to make decisions.
