Abstract

The assignment of teachers as school principals is stipulated in Permendikbud Number 6 of 2018. One of the points is that school principals who are wearing and do not have a certificate of completion of the training, prospective school principals are required to attend and pass training to strengthen school principals. This training is also to develop attitudes, knowledge, skills in the dimensions of personality, managerial, entrepreneurship, supervision, and social, according to the Regulation of the Indonesian Minister of Education Regulation Number 13 of 2007 concerning the standards of school / madrasah principals. The main objective of this study is to obtain significant differences in the competence of school principals before and after participating in strengthening training. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach using ex post facto that explores an event that has occurred. The sample used was all school principals who had participated in strengthening training as many as 41 people at elementary schools in Cikancung District. The data technique used a questionnaire method and documentation study. The results of the calculation of the Average Weight Score (WMS) show that the competence of the principal before the training received a score of 3.53, including the high category, and the competence of the principal before the training received a score of 4.41 which was in the very high category. The results of the normality test on the data distribution show that the principal's competency variables are normally distributed. Analysis of comparative data using Paired Sample T Test, obtained an average score of competence before training 125.7073, while after training strengthening 158.2683. Then the test results obtained ????count 15.551 ???????????????????????? 2.021, which is a significant difference in the competence of school principals before and after participating in strengthening training.

Abstract

This research generally aims to reveal a clear picture of the effect of work discipline on teacher work performance. The research method used is a descriptive method supported by literature studies and by quantitative approaches. The population in this study was 30 respondents from teachers of SMA NEGERI 4 Bandung. Wms data processing results (Weight Means Score) that has been processed obtained the average result of variable score X of 4.27 which belongs to a very high category. As for variable Y obtained an average score of 4.04 which belongs to a very high category. Based on the results of the Normality Test, each variable is obtained that the calculated X2 value of variable X is 7,975 the value of X2 table value is 11,070, it is declared normally distributed, while variable Y value X2 calculates 5,798 the table X2 value is 12,592, it is declared normal distribution. Based on the results of the Correlation Coefficient Test obtained by the price of correlation coefficient (r) variable X to variable Y positive direction of 0.99, it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient between the two variables is at a very strong correlation coefficient level. Based on the results of the calculation of significant tests obtained the price of 1 count of 37.05 and the price of t table of 2,045, the correlation of variable X to variable Y is significant. While the coefficient of variable determination X terhdap variable Y by 98.01%. It can be concluded that the increase and decrease in teacher work performance is determined by the teacher's own work discipline of 98.01%, while the remaining 1.99% is determined by other factors. Based on the calculation result obtained price a and price b of 0.983, so the regression equation that describes the predicted score of variable direction Y based on variable X is Y = 0 + 0.983 X. The difference in the overall statistics test results can be concluded that " There is a Significant Influence between Work Discipline On The Prestassi Work of Teachers SMA NEGERI 4 Bandung ", proven to be true or acceptable.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain overview an effect of achievement motivation on the productivity of government employe in the center for teacher and education personel development of mechanical and industrial engineering Bandung. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using a closed questionnaire that was distributed to 66 government employe in PPPPTK BMTI Bandung as a research sample. The hypothesis proposed is the exixtence of a positive and significant effect between achievement motivation (X) on the productivity (Y) of government employe in PPPPTK BMTI Bandung. Weight Means Score (WMS) calculation results show that achievement motivation scores of 3,36 are included in the very high category and work productivity get a value of 3,46 included in the very high category. To test the research hypothesis several steps were carried out, namely correlation analysis between variabels using Pearson Product Moment obtained a result of 0,821 wich showed the correlation of reliation between the 2 variables was at the level of a positive and very strong relation. Then the significance test using t test result obtained thitung 11,495ttabel 1,997 means that there is a significant relation between the X variabel and the Y variable. The coefficient of determination test result obtained that the variable X affects the Y variable by 67,4% and the rest is influensced by other variables not examined in this research, while in the regression analysis obtained by (Y ) ̂= 16,585 + 0,821X equation this means that if there is an increase of one in the Y variable it will be followed by an increase of 0,821 in the X variable. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant and positive influence between achievement motivation on the productivity of government employe in the center for teacher and education personel development of mechanical and industrial engineering Bandung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the motion and song "Going To School" in improving the language skills of children aged 5-6 years in TK Pertiwi Banaran Kab. Nganjuk This research is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental design method showing that the motion and the song "Going to School" are effective for stimulating language skills of children aged 5-6 years in group B in TK Pertiwi Banaran Kab. Nganjuk The number of samples in this study were 21 children. Pretest results with an average value of 9.76, a maximum value of 14, and a minimum value of 5. While posttest results with an average value of 14.14, a maximum value of 20, and a minimum value of 4. Results of data analysis using Paired Test Sample T-Test with df = 20 shows a t table of 2.085 and a t-test value of 12.112. This shows t arithmetic from the t table value so that the motion and the song "Go to School" are effective in stimulating language skills of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

The research background is caused phenomenon that shows the imbalance of workload in The Management Section, namely work time exceeding the specified work time and uneven division of labor. The research objectives are : (1) Identifying job descriptions and work products produced by employees, (2) Measuring  employee workload, (3) Calculating employee needs based of workload analysis in the management section. The method used is descriptive research method using a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that there are job descriptions and work products that have not been listed in the Employee Work Target and Employee Position Analysis. After measuring the workload 2 positions in The Management Section the respective work volumes were obtained including the Analyst Needs Educators and Education Personnel have a work volume of 11543 and Education Personnel Data Manager has a work volume of 8001. The imbalance is in the form of excess or lack of employees. Ideally the position of the Analyst Needs Educators and Education Personnel filled by 10 people with the number of available employees, namely 4 people, so that in this position there is a shortage of 6 employees. Education Personnel Data Manager filled by 7 people while the existing employees as many as 2 people lack of employees as many as 5 people. The research implication is that the data produced can be used as a reference in human resource planning. The research recommendations are first to re-analyze the Employee Work Target (SKP) and Employee Position Analysis (Anjab) to complete the job descriptions and products that have not been listed. Second, institutions need to carry out an analysis of workload in determining the number of employees so as to reduce the possibility of excessive workload or less. Third, to cover lack of employees in position can be done through seconding honorary employees.

Abstract

New students admission (PPDB) zoning system policy is considered ineffective in achieving goal of equitable education access and services in Indonesia. And also considered unable to eliminate people's views about favorite schools, especially in SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya which has huge enthusiasts, and there were registrants buildup, so that PPDB services held by schools became less than optimal. This research means to describe management of implementation PPDB zoning system in SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya, including planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. This research used qualitative methods with descriptive approach. The data sources were head of the branch education office regional XII, vice principal, and committee of PPDB. The data collection used interviews, and documentation study techniques. The results showed that: 1) PPDB zoning system planning including understanding of applicable policy, determination requirements, capacity and zoning, budgeting, and socialization. 2) PPDB zoning system organizing is done by departmentalization based on dividing division of main tasks and functions of each committee, and adjusted to school needs. 3) PPDB zoning system actuating including registration, data input, data verification, selection, announcement of selection results, and re-registration. 4) PPDB zoning system controlling is implemented by the controlling team, head master, branch of education office regional XII, West Java Provincial Education Office, mass media and public users of PPDB services. Based on the research results, it was found that schools were not fully ready for implementing PPDB zoning system because there were advantages and disadvantages. So, it needs a massive sosialization to the public and an evaluation for improving this zoning policy.

Abstract

The aims of this study is about to know the effect of implementatiton student management on learning achievement at SMA Negeri 14 Kota Bandung. The study uses quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The population and sample in this study were 40 respondents who were teachers at SMA Negeri 14 Kota Bandung with a questionnaire and documentation research instrument. Processing data in this study used stastical applications SPSS 24.0 for windows and Microsoft Excel. The result of this study indicate that the effect of implementation student management on learning achievement at SMA Negeri 14 Kota Bandung has very low correlation, namely 0.132 and the correlation coefficient is 0.820 0,320 which means that the implementation of student management has no significant effect on learning achievement in SMA Negeri 14 Kota Bandung.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of job satisfaction on organizational commitment of non-civil servant employees in The West Java Provincial Departement Of Education. The method used in this research was a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used was questionnaire that distributed to 83 research respondents. The WMS (Weight Mean Score) calculation result shows that of both variable X and variable Y is at good category. The correlation coefficient between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment obtained a score of 0.644, which was included in the "strong" category. Meanwhile, the result of significance test shows the value of tcalculation for 7,572 and ttable for 1,989 (tcalculation ttable), it means that there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. The influence of the Job Satisfaction on Organizational Commitment obtained from from the results of the determination test is 41.4% and the rest is influenced by other factors. The result of coefficient of determinition test shows 40,393 + 0,644X, means that each addition on the X variable will increase the Y variable value of 0.644. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the Job Satisfaction On Organizational Commitment Of Non-Civil Servant Employees In The West Java Provincial Departement Of Education.

Abstract

This study entitled “The Influence of Leadership Style to Employee’s Discipline in Bandung Staffing Berau (Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Kota Bandung)”. The research questions of this study is about employee’s discipline who work in Bandung Staffing Berau. The aims of this study is obtain the actual picture of the influence of the orientation of leadership style on employee’s discipline in BKD Kota Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. While the data collection techniques used through thequestionnaire enclosed with a four rating scale (Likert). Population is used as a source of data in this research study as well as the sample is the entireemployee BKD Kota Bandung by 94 employees. Based on the results of data processing computed by using the WMS (Weight Means Scored) showed that the average general tendency for the variable X (Orientation Leadership Style) of 3.13 and be in the good category, and the general trend of the average for the variable Y (Employee’s Discipline ) of 3.21 to be in good category. Results of testing normality of data distribution, it is known that the variables X and Y variables are normally distributed. Judging from the calculation of the correlation coefficient of 0.625 which shows that there is a strong relationship between variables X and variable Y, while the calculation of significant test of 7.680 proved significant. The results of the analysis of the determination coefficient of 39.06% shows the influence of the influence of leadership style to employee’s discipline is at 39.06% and the rest of them are influenced by other factors. The regression equation ̅ means each one unit increase of leadershipstyle variable provides the increase of employee’s discipline as much as 0.625 unit. This study conclusion states leadership style effects significantly toemployee’s discipline in BKD Kota Bandung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher professional competence on the teaching performance of elementary school teachers in Harjamukti District, Cirebon City. The research approach used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population in the study were elementary school teachers in Harjamukti District, Cirebon City, totaling 586 teachers. The sampling technique used is the Probability Sampling technique through Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, because the members in the population are heterogeneous or not of the same type so that they are proportionally stratified. The sample is determined as much as 15% of the population. So the calculation is 586 x 15/100 = 87.9 rounded to 88, then the total sample that the researcher will take is 88 teachers and the author only takes 2 teachers from each school. Hypothesis testing uses correlation coefficient analysis, determination analysis, significance level test and simple regression coefficient test. The prerequisite test is the normality test. All calculations were processed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for School Science) program version 25.0 for Windows. The results of data processing obtained from the correlation coefficient value of 0.860, which means that Teacher Professional Competence has a very strong correlation or relationship with Teacher Teaching Performance. The coefficient of determination (KP) is 73.9%, meaning that the Teaching Performance of Teachers is influenced by the Professional Competence of Teachers of 73.9% and the remaining 26.1% is determined by other factors not examined. The results of the regression equation illustrate that there is a dependency between Teacher Teaching Performance on Teacher Professional Competence with the regression equation Ŷ = 15.605 + 0.856????. This means that these results state that for each change in Teacher Professional Competence by one unit, the increase will be followed by an increase in Teacher Teaching Performance by 0.856.
