Abstract

The fast development of Indonesia capital market has happened recently requires investors to manage more information which is available with variety of technical analysis. One of technical Springate’s model of bankruptcy prediction which is able to predict the possibility of bankruptcy for evading fortfolio depreciation held by the investors. In above-mentioned analysis, the investors use one set of financial ratio which has the same type profitability, leverage, and liquidity ratio. Logically, the investors who have used Springate’s ratio in their analysis will consider the set of ratio in selling and buying shares so Springate’s ratio have the influence to shares price. This reseach was done based on wanting to know the influence of Springate’s financial ratios to shares price of public enterprise of telecommunication sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This reseach is empirical study for getting to know the influence of Springate’s financial ratios to share price. The financial data which are used from report of public enterprise of telecommunication sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange are from the year 2009 up to 2013. The financial ratios which are independent variable used by Springate for predicting enterprise bankruptcy, i.e : Working Capital to Total Assets (WC/TA), Earnings Before Interest and Taxes to Total Assets (EBIT/TA), Earnings Before Taxes to Currents Liabilities (EBT/CL), and Sales to Total Assets (S/TA). The analysis instrument is panel data regression and for data processing using Eviews 7. t-test and F-test outcome shown that WC/TA, EBIT/TA, EBT/CL and S/TA independent variables partially and simultaneously together influencing shares price with random effect test. Abstract

The demands on the performance of employees to work professionally, honestly and justly so obvious, clear, hard and firm. Increased employee performance requires the factors that affect, among others, the ability, motivation, and commitment. This study aims to determine the effect of work ability, motivation and organizational commitment to employee performance. In this study took a sample of 100 employees. The analytical method used to answer the hypothesis is by using path analysis. The research results indicate that the ability (X1) has a direct influence by 14.30%, the indirect influence through its relationship with the motivation (X2) amounted to 10.36%, indirect effect through Commitment (X3) at 2.44% and the total effect amounted to 27.10%. Variable Motivation (X2) has a direct influence by 22.56%, the indirect influence through its relationship with the ability (X1) of 10.36%, and the indirect influence through Commitment variable (X3) of 2.31%, so that the total effect of 35.20%. Variable Commitment (X3) have direct influence by 2.95%, while the indirect effect through its relationship with the ability (X1) of 2.44%, and the indirect influence through Motivation (X2) is 2.31%, so that the total effect of 7.70%. The coefficient of determination calculation results are expressed as a percentage portray the contribution of all the independent variables are Capabilities (X1), motivation (X2), and commitment (X3) in determining variation Employee Performance (Y) is approximately 70.03%. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of human resource information systems, competency and discipline on employee performance. The object of research is one of the hotels in the city of Bandung. Population used were all employees of the hotel. Quantitative research methods using Path Analysis. The results showed that there is significant influence of HR Information Systems, competence and Discipline Work on employee performance either partially or simultaneously. The survey results revealed that the simultaneous Effect of HR information systems, Competence, Work Discipline against employee performance in the category of very significantly by 82.5%. These results indicate that the effect of these three variables including very significant category while the remaining 17.5% is a variable that is not research as compensation, organizational culture, communication work. Abstract

This study aimed to determine and assess the Influence of Public Relations Mix on Brand Image and Brand Awareness and Its Implication to Student Decisions Choosing to study at vocational school Medikacom Bandung. This study uses the theory of Marketing Management, the method used in this research is an explanatory survey approach, and the type of research is descriptive and verificative. The method of data collection is done by interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis method used is the analysis of SEM (stuctural Equation Modeling). This research used a sample of students at vocational school Medikacom Bandung as much as 248 students. The results showed that simultaneous Brand Image and Brand Awareness significant effect on Student Decisions choosing to study at vocational school Medikacom Bandung, Public Relations mix significant effect on Brand Image and Public Relations mix significant effect on Brand Awareness.Simultaneous influence of Brand Image and Brand Awareness of the student decisions amounted to 0.860 or 86%, whereas 0.140 or 14% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research. Effect of partial variable mix of Public Relations of the brand image is of 0.640 or 64%, a variable mix of the Public Relations Student decisions amounted to 0.720 or 72%. From the results of research conducted, then Public Relations Mix, Brand Image and Brand Awareness variables when combined would have a significant effect on Student Decisions Choosing to study at vocational school Medikacom Bandung. Abstract

Capital market is an alternative for investors to invest their capital. Market efficiency is an ideal and attractive form in the capital markets. Under condition of market efficiency, the new information will be responded by market participants to decide whether to buy or sell, thus causing changes in the price and then the price will be stabilized. In the efficient market itself, irregularities or deviations emerge, these are called market anomalies. One of the most important types of market anomalies that is interesting to study is the calender anomalies such as day of the week effect. The day of the week is an effect which states that the expected returns are not the same every day. Furthermore, there are phenomenon in day of the week effect which are related to Monday effect, namely week-four effect, bad Friday effect and Rogalski effect. The objective of this research is to determine the existence of the day of the week effect, week-four effect, bad Friday effect and Rogalski effect in Indonesia stock exchange. The study uses dummy variable multiple linear regression for independent variables. Then the fourth of phenomenon compared by using ANOVA. The result show that doesn’t exist a day of the week effect, week – four effect, bad Friday effect and Rogalski effect in Indonesia Stock Exchange during January 2008 until December 2012. This show that the market anomaly doesn’t always happen, especially in the period of research. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of macroeconomic variables on Indonesian Islamic stock index. Macroeconomic variables used are the interest rate of Bank Indonesia (BI-rate), inflation, exchange rate, Bank Indonesia Certificates Sharia (SBIS) and world oil prices. The data used in this research is secondary data during the period May 2011 until September 2015 using a model error correction model (ECM) where the end result is going to measure the effect of macroeconomic variables on Indonesian Sharia Stock Index in the short term and long term. Abstract

The object of this research is to study about the liquidity influence compare to the efficiency and working capital requirement by using balance sheet and income statement data. The location is at PT. Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (PT. INTI), one of the state’s telecommunications company. This research is a descriptive analysis and use a case study method where by obtained data during research will be analyzed, and then processed furthermore with existing theory bases and later conducted the measurement of performance to the variables. The result of this research shows the influence of liquidity rate compare to working capital efficiency 49,8%. The influence of liquidity rate compare to working capital requirement 19,7% and the rest influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of compensation and motivation on employee job satisfaction and its implications on the performance of employees. The object of research is a financing company. Research sample were 107 employees. The research method used Path Analysis technique. The results showed that there is significant influence of compensation and motivation on employee job satisfaction either partially or simultaneously. As well as employee satisfaction significantly influence employee performance. The survey results revealed that the simultaneous effect of compensation and motivation on job satisfaction of employees is at 60.1% while the remaining 39.9% influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of service quality on student’s satisfaction and its implications on loyalty at School of Informatics and Computer Management active contained in Bandung. The object of research is all students of the School of Informatics and Computer Management active contained in Bandung with a total student population as many as 5.779 students. By setting a limit precision of 5% of the population obtained a sample of 375 students. This study uses a quantitative study using Path Analysis techniques. The results showed that there is significant influence quality of service for student satisfaction either partially and simultaneously. And there is a significant influence student satisfaction on loyalty. The result showed that the effect of simultaneous quality academic services to students satisfaction of 49.1% while the remaining 50.1% influenced by other variables not examined in this study. This implies that the management of universities needs to pay attention to issues of academic quality so as to increase student satisfaction and loyalty. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of school leadership, teacher competence and compensation on teacher performance. The object of research is one of the elementary schools in Bandung. Data were colledted from population in this study as 34 teachers. Which quantitative research methods and techniques Path Analysis. The results showed that there is significant influence of school leadership, teacher competence and compensation on teacher performance either partially or simultaneously. The survey results revealed that the simultaneous effect of school leadership, teacher competence and compensation on the performance of teachers by 65.6% while the remaining 34.4% influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
