Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Imtaq education in MTs Negeri I East Lombok in terms of context, input, process, and product. The second objective is to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors in implementing Imtaq education. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) method through a qualitative approach. Data validity is done by using data triangulation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and tests. The results showed that: 1) context showed a legal foundation, stakeholder influence, and a high level of juvenile delinquency so that the implementation of Imtaq needed to be implemented in MTs Negeri I East Lombok schools. 2) inputs from the implementation of Imtaq are curriculum, human resources, funding, study facilities, organization, and administration. 3} Imtaq implementation process is carried out in the KBM, assessment, incidental activities and structured activities. 4) the product of the implementation of Imtaq is the result of graduates having faith, piety, and morality. 5) the inhibiting factor of the implementation of Imtaq is the poor motivation of students, the lack of supporting books for Imtaq activities. 6) internal supporting factors in the Imtaq implementation process are, the availability of funds, competent human resources in guiding and implementing Imtaq activities, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure that supports Imtaq activities. The external supporting factor is the involvement of stakeholders who help the implementation process of Imtaq education.

Abstract

Has been implemented development based research, which aims to produce scientific-based learning module to empower critical thinking skills of students in grade XI MA Mu'allimat NW Pancor. The steps undertaken in this research is still initial stage (introducting and planning), namely; KI-KD literature study high school physics class XI. Followed by observation of school resources and inventory of learning resources in MA Mu'allimat NW Pancor. Also needs analysis, book needs analysis and module, absorption analysis related to material, and teacher and student’s requitments analysis. To support data of research result not yet sufficiently, students and teachers distributed a questionnaire to determine their response to the need for the development of scientific-based physics module to improve critical thinking skills. From the observations that have been done the results of the questionnaire needs teachers and students showed that the study of physics at the MA Mu'allimat NW Pancor rudimentary use of teaching materials in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, teaching materials appropriate curriculum in 2013 has not provided adequately, learning physics-based learning, not train students in critical thinking skills, as well as materials on teaching materials used contain materials not yet complete. The conclusion of this study is a necessary test, and implement development-based learning module to gain increased critical thinking skills of students in grade XI MA Mu'allimat NW Pancor.

Abstract

The propose of this study is TO KNOW how the influence of cooperative investigation type group investigation on achievement and motivation to learn physics. This research was conducted at MA NW Kabar class X IPA. Data collection for learning achievement using tests in the form of essays and for student motivation using questionnaires. Data analysis technique is to use descriptive qualitative. The results showed that student achievement was very good because the percentage was above 75% while the motivation of students had a percentage of 54.54% in the high category when viewed from the number of students.

Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematical learning tools with a problem-solving approach that is feasible to use to improve students' mathematics learning attitudes and achievement with different abilities in the Circle material. Products consist of syllabus, lesson plans, and multilevel worksheets. Product quality and eligibility refers to Nieveen's validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria. The development procedure adapted the Borg & Gall development research model and was modified in five stages of development, including the stages: preliminary studies, initial product development, validation, testing, and revision of the final product. Data collection instruments include: validation sheets, teacher assessments, and student opinions, mathematics attitude questionnaires, and pretest-posttest scripts. Data in the form of standard scores were analyzed using norm reference benchmarks. Data in the form of comments and suggestions were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and concluded as material for product revision. Learning outcomes test data were analyzed by benchmark reference assessment. The research resulted in a multilevel mathematics learning tool product with a problem-solving approach that was feasible to use. Product eligibility is based on validation results that classify highly valid products and trial results which show that the product is very practical and effective in improving students' mathematical attitudes and learning achievements.

Abstract

This research aimed at: (1) to explain the novel writer`s background of Perempuan Rusuk Dua. (2) To explain the novel social culture background of Perempuan Rusuk Dua. (3) To explain the image of Perempuan Sasak in novel Perempuan Rusuk Dua. This research is qualitative descriptive with literature sociology approach. The data in this research was word, phrase and sentence. The source of the data was Perempuan Rusuk Dua novel which was written by Salman Faris and Eva Nourma, publicized by Mahkota Kata Yogyakarta in 2009, 448 pages. The method in this research used an analysis document such as the data text of novel Perempuan Rusuk Dua. The results of this research were; (1) the authors` background of Salman Faris and Eva Nourma came from petit bourgeois, educative and their creations were wisely of local nuance even multicultural made the Sasak ethnic as the creation icon; (2) the background of society`s social culture pervaded a work as farmer, fishermen and shepherd. Their home was in seaboard which name is Kaliantan and Seriwe. Tradition of the society preserved the Bau Nyale culture (sea worm catching). Sasak societies were Islam majority as the title of Lombok Island "Pulau Seribu Masjid", and the society was convinced that ‘Nyale’ (Sea worm) could be medicine, human glue, charm and phenomenological of mate; (3) the image of Sasak women pervaded attitude and affection of Zippora to others, devoting to parent, be patient in facing problem, sincere in giving, and brave to do a rebellion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) approach to the Critical Thinking Ability of Class VII MTs Students. Uswatun Hasanah Cempaka Putih on Environmental Pollution Materials. This study uses an experimental research method with True experimental form and nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of Class VII MTs. Uswatun Hasanah Cempaka Putih, amounting to 65 students. This study also uses a sampling technique that is using nonprobability sampling with the type of Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques using direct observation and measurement techniques. The research instrument used was a written test with multiple choice tests and using critical thinking indicators from Ennis. Based on the results of data analysis of students' critical thinking skills, the average post-test scores in the experimental class and the control class were 66,333 and 56,774. T-test results obtained t-count = 2.538 and t-table = 2.001 (α = 5%; db = 59). Because t-count (2,538)> t-table (2,001), it means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The effect size is 0.638 with moderate criteria. The conclusion of this study is that there is a moderate effect on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning and learning approaches to the Critical Thinking Ability of Class VII MTs Uswatun Hasanah Cempaka Putih with medium criteria.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the comparison of students’ tajwid learning achievement through batu ngompal and conventional method. This research was ex-post facto research. The sample was the students of TPQ Jejanti which consisted of 30 students. 15 students were treated by using batu ngompal method and the rest were treated using conventional method. The data were collected using questioner that would be chosen by students based on their capability. Based on the data analysis result, it was found that students’ achievement who treated by using batu ngompal method were higher than who treated using conventional method. Thus, alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It can be concluded that batu ngompal method was better than conventional method on students’ tajwid learning achievement in TPQ Jejanti Pancor, Selong in year 2019.

Abstract

Traditional game sports are the result of human creativity, taste, and initiative. Traditional game sports have now experienced a shift, one of it is the shift in a traditional sports games for the Lombok Sasak community. By doing this research, it is hoped that researchers will be able to explore traditional game sports and the meaning of exploring traditional sports games research for the community. This study uses a qualitative research method of phenomenology. The research location is in Marong Village, East Praya District, Central Lombok Regency. The subjects of this research are the people in Marong Village, this research was using snowball sampling technique (snowball). Collected through in-depth interviews and observations. The results of this research indicate that. Peresean traditional game sport is a traditional sport of the Sasak people who fights two men (pepadu) using weapons from rattan sticks and shields. In the traditional peresean games, there are rules and sanctionsthat their implementation. Currently, peresean performances are carried out at certain times, such as village or district birthdays, wedding events, in famine seasons, the anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, or in welcoming guests. The values that ​​contained in the peresean traditional game sports are values ​​about life such as the value of respecting brotherhood, friendship, economy, kinship, belief, culture and artistic values. Male valor, martial arts, sportsmanship spirit, self-respect and friendship. So the performance of the traditional game of Peresean in the Sasak people of Lombok has experienced a shift both in terms of rules, meaning and timing of implementation.

Abstract

Rapid technological advances have also affected play activities among children and adolescents. The traditional game of the fortress (benteng) is the game playing by children, teenagers to adults with educational value for moral development and so on. The Research Method of the Traditional Game Fortress in Creating Familiarity uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of participating in this traditional game of fortification show that the teenagers have started to be active in interacting and getting to know their other peers, and not only their close friends. Good cooperation, cohesiveness, brotherhood and social responsibility are established.

Abstract

This research entitled was “The Role of Physical Education Teachers in shaping the character of students in MA. In the whole village of Mertak Tombok”. This research aims to determine the role of physical education teachers in shaping the character of MA students. In the whole village of Mertak Tombok. The type of research was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The population in this research was all physical education teachers in MA. in village of Mertak Tombok, totaling 5 people. Sampling was done by total sampling technique. So the samples in this research were all physical education teachers who were in MA. The village of Mertak Tombok, totaling 4 people. The data was collected using a questionnaire. The data obtained was processed using statistical techniques. The village of Mertak Tombok for the 2020/2021 academic year so that it can shape the character of students for the better. It is recommended that prospective physical education teachers who become a teacher really have to carry out their duties as professional teachers who are active and creative in nurturing students so that they become a generation of people who have good characters that are beneficial to the nation and state.
